Celebrate my hundredth episode with me as I talk about, consistency, building for the long run, what transformation really is and being an activist coach.

I can’t believe we’ve made it to episode 100 of the Yes, Mujer Built It podcast! It feels like I just launched this show yesterday, and yet here we are—two years, countless episodes, and a whole lot of growth later.

In this milestone episode, I’m sharing what truly makes me different in the coaching world. I reflect on the journey that’s led me here—from my early days as a relationship coach to building a six-figure practice that’s lasted nearly 18 years. I also get real about my evolution, both as a businesswoman and as an activist, and why now is the time for me to own all of who I am.

In this episode, I talk about:

  • Celebrating our 100th episode and what this podcast means to me
  • The truth about what it takes to build a sustainable coaching business
  • How I transitioned through different coaching specialties over the years
  • Why longevity and consistency are my superpowers
  • The difference between transformational work and change work
  • What “being work” is and how it’s changed every area of my life
  • Why I’m unapologetically owning my identity as an activist
  • How social justice, political advocacy, and coaching intersect for me
  • Why I believe we’re being called to lead with intention and purpose in this season

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
