夏巢川在白纸运动期间两度被捕，2023年的上海万圣节，TA在身上贴满白纸走上街头的照片，被媒体广泛传播。3月中旬，袁莉在荷兰的线下见面会期间见到了夏巢川，TA在2024年初离开中国来到了荷兰，自此深度参与和观察中国的海外公民社会生态。
本期节目中，夏巢川讲述了自己的成长经历，讲述了Ta如何在不同阶段、不同困境中，逐步理解中国现实的复杂性，以及行动者所面对的风险与局限。TA如何看待创伤和行动之间的联系，又是如何在恐惧从未真正消散的情况下，选择实名、站出来？
在荷兰，TA被友善的社群氛围所接住，也不断追问“下一步该怎么做”。TA从藏人和维吾尔人社群中学习经验，希望与更主流的、更专业的社会运动脉络接轨。而对于中国行动者来说，我们是否能找回曾经存在过的社会运动传统？那些断裂的经验，是否仍然可能被重新链接？作为白纸成长起来的一代人，如何重建一个理想的公民社会？
