2025年3月,特朗普签署行政令,美国之音(VOA)与自由亚洲电台(RFA)停摆、裁员,众多记者骤然失业。这是“不明白播客”系列节目《我与敌台的故事》的第三期。前两期中,许成钢教授和四位年轻人讲述了这些“敌台”如何影响了他们的职业与人生。
这一期,我们请来《歪脑》主编Alex和为美国之音撰稿的香港记者Kris郑乐捷,回顾这场危机如何影响了他们的个人与团队。他们谈到了未完成的纪录片、被中止的专题、被迫暂停的合作,也谈到了新闻作为一种“召唤”而非“选择”的职业感。
节目也试图回应一些更大的问题:依靠国会拨款的新闻机构,真的能保持独立性吗?对于一些仍愿意用中文写作、记录、报道的年轻记者来说,还有没有继续写下去的空间?
