She is an accomplished businesswoman and has a record of successful business ventures in varying fields, such as her fashion house ‘ House of Hend’, ‘Hend by Hend Perfumes’, ‘Heart in a Box’ restaurant as well as Velvet magazine which is an international luxury, fashion, beauty, travel and lifestyle magazine distributed across Europe, Latin America, Arabian Gulf and China.
Shaikha Hend is an Emirati Royal, and she has been on the advisory board at CFD Dubai as well as being a Patron of International Dubai Fashion Week, alongside being a Member of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce.
Shaikha Hend actively takes part in philanthropy efforts and is a staunch advocate for human right causes. Her voice has been prominent in addressing global injustices.
She is the author of the internationally acclaimed ‘Black book of Arabia’ which in essence documents the human form and stories at all levels.
