We'll be taking the holidays off andthe next podcast will be January 6th.
When we were first putting thisproject together, I didn't know
what it was going to look like.
In fact, I was struggling to comeup with a name that made sense.

Originally the consensuswas calling dead people.
Fortunately, we didn't settlethere because that made people
think that this was about ghosts,which it is certainly not.
Well now a year has passed and we havehad the most interesting experiences.
I will never forget talking to TychoBrahe and his golden nose is drunken
pet moose, and is clairvoyant dwarf.

The conversation with Jack, theripper was jarring, especially at
the end when he threatened my life.
Well, some of my favorite conversationsduring this were the ones with the people
that I knew, nothing about like DeborahSamson, who hid her gender from the troops
so that she could fight alongside of them.
And of course, Louise Thadden who quietlybroke the glass ceiling for women pilots.

While Amelia Earhart wasgetting all the credit.
Now we have 79 episodes, this beingnumber 80, and I am so pleased to have
spoken with Washington and Roosevelt andThoreau to find that they were exactly
the people I was expecting them to be.
And so much more.
I equally enjoyed Edgar Allen Poe, JaneAustin, and Ulysses S grant, because

I feel when I was speaking with them,like I was in the room with them.
As I discovered I had noidea who these people were.
As this year ends, I want to thankall my guests for their generosity,
