(00:00):
It's time to talk home cleaning and I've got our home cleaning expert here.
Viv from Maid Brigade.
Hey,
Viv,
how are you?
I'm doing great.
Thank you,
Joe.
It's great to have you here.
And I want to talk to you about the differences between toxic chemicals and using natural green products to clean in the home.
(00:20):
I understand it's more and more popular now that people are looking for solutions in a nontoxic natural form.
Wouldn't you agree?
I agree with that.
Yes.
Um,
so,
so do these products,
these green,
uh,
products clean as well as the toxic ones.
Well,
of course,
the answer to that is yes.
(00:41):
You know,
the quality and effectiveness of safe cleaning products has come a long way,
especially with us since we started in 1996.
You know,
while there are some limited situations where a toxic chemical may be what's needed,
we put our cleaning solutions up against any commonly used traditional cleaning products.
Now,
we've all heard this,
(01:01):
I think that certain natural products that we have,
um,
on our kitchen counter or maybe in our refrigerator,
like a lemon or an orange is something that can work apparently the citrus um,
can help.
There's actually products like orange glow and other things that do certain cleaning,
um,
and removal of things.
(01:22):
What do you know about the citrus?
Um,
not,
I would say not much about the citrus but I know it,
it is,
in fact,
but I think with research nowadays,
I think it's very important to just make sure it is,
you know,
organic because there might be smells that you could think it's orange or lemony and you think it's natural.
But the most important thing is making sure you're watching that label,
(01:44):
that it is,
you know,
naturally not artificial and that's tricky because when you pick up a product in the store,
it kind of looks like a chemical may have a trigger spray and it may say orange cleaner,
um,
natural cleaner.
You still have to look at the back and look at what the ingredients are,
don't you?
(02:04):
Yes.
With,
especially like an example in our products,
our product has a 30 day uh shelf life,
which means,
you know,
it,
it expires,
it's natural and versus someone that it's a chemical that has,
you know,
doesn't expire easily.
So I think that's why we like our products because it has that shelf life.
So,
you know,
you're getting,
you know,
(02:26):
the,
it covers,
you know,
the basis of,
you know,
viruses and bacteria when your cleaning.
So it's really like organic cleaning.
When you buy organic products,
they don't last long.
They're not prepackaged.
There's no preservatives.
They're going to,
they're going to spoil sooner.
And that's the same thing for these natural cleaners.
(02:48):
Yeah.
Green cleaning.
I like that.
