(00:01):
Viv from Maid Brigade is joining me here on the program.
Hi,
Viv,
how are you?
Hi,
Joe.
Thank you for having me.
So we've talked about in previous podcasts,
the fact that you guys have at Made Brigade Great cleaning products.
But every once in a while,
(00:21):
I'm sure there's a homeowner that says,
hey,
we already have the cleaning products.
Can you just use ours?
Is that ok with you guys?
Absolutely.
That's ok with,
that's ok with us.
Um,
you know,
we have a lot of confidence in our products,
but if a customer,
you know,
has a product that they preferred and will provide,
you know,
we typically are fine with it as long as make sure it's safe for our staff.
(00:43):
You know,
we most importantly,
we do act in advance,
you know,
what is the product so we can understand how to use it properly.
And again,
you know,
if that's for our staff,
health is protected.
Yeah.
And,
and so there's a couple of reasons why Made Brigade uses the products they use to clean your home.
(01:03):
Uh One is certainly for your safety as the homeowner,
but also for their own staff nobody wants to expose their team members to toxic chemicals and correct me if I'm wrong.
But a lot of these store bought chemicals are not as safe as what you use.
(01:24):
I mean,
let's,
I mean,
let's be fair about it.
Right.
These,
these are toxic chemicals.
They do a good job cleaning,
but they're not necessarily good to inhale or ingest at all.
That's correct.
Like,
you know,
for a homeowner that might clean a home,
you know,
you know,
once a week or,
you know,
they,
it's ok.
I think you smell those products.
You're used to it.
But for AAA,
(01:44):
staff member who is cleaning a home is cleaning,
you know,
5 to 6 homes,
you know,
a day and think of that,
how much that is a week.
You don't know if you're using those type of chemicals,
you don't know what you're breathing.
You don't know the effect that's gonna happen to you in the next,
you know,
5,
10,
even 20 years,
it's gonna happen to your health system.
So,
I think that's very important that,
(02:05):
you know,
if we do,
if the customer wants us to use our product,
we're absolutely,
we're ok with it.
We just have to make sure that we have to aware of what it is and make sure we let the team know that where are these products,
you know,
what they're using.
Yeah.
And certainly as a homeowner myself,
I would be more than happy to let Maid Brigade use their products.
(02:25):
So if you're gonna use my products and we're not going to be using your products.
Do I save any money or is it the same price?
Well,
it's different,
I guess it depends.
Um,
for an example,
I mean,
I know we have customers that like to use and say,
you know,
because they like to get that extra shine on their um floor.
(02:47):
Of course,
our does the same.
But I think people feel more confident using the bona,
but we always say we could do it,
we could try it out and we could compare.
But sometimes customers are not even aware of what products they say.
Oh,
did you use a bona?
And we say,
hey,
I think this time,
I think you ran out this time.
So we use our own products this time.
So it,
the floor,
it does the same work.
(03:08):
I think as a homeowner,
it's a lot easier for Made Brigade,
not only to bring their great team out,
but also their products are familiar with them.
They know how they work on what type of surface.
And I don't have to worry about stocking the right product.
So I think that's the way to go and it's not gonna cost you any more money.
And really,
it's just gonna be a whole lot easier viv as always.
(03:31):
Thank you so much for coming onto the program and answering questions for us today.
Thank you.
So much for having me.
