"Some people are flexible but some people either like the morning. So the most important thing is just to make sure every time we're there, we're providing that same window and I'm sure it's really nice for your team members when the homeowner makes it flexible."

(00:01):
Whether you have your home cleaned every week,
twice a month or just once a month.
The question is,
is,
when is the cleaning crew going to show up?
So,
I've asked Viv from Maid Brigade to hop on the line with me here today to talk about that.
And how made Brigade does that?
Hey,
Viv,
hey,
how are you?

(00:21):
I'm doing fantastic.
So I know you have some customers that you clean weekly for some are twice a month and some are just once a month.
Do you show up at the same time every time or does that vary?
Well,
here's the thing.
Um,
our team simply clean,

(00:42):
you know,
we clean several homes today,
you know,
and we start as early as eight and then,
you know,
the reservoir a bit depending on the time needed to travel and clean.
But for the most part,
yes,
we do arrive at the time allotted.
We do,
um,
provide a two hour window and for most are our customers,
they like,
you know,
some like morning,

(01:02):
some like mid-afternoon or afternoon.
So we always prefer when they're booked at the beginning.
What's the preferred time,
you know,
and some people are very,
either flexible but some people either like the morning.
So the most important thing is just to make sure every time we're there,
we're providing that same window and I'm sure it's really nice for your team members when the homeowner makes it flexible.

(01:25):
If the people who own the home,
live in the home work and they're not in the home,
they give you access to it.
And if you were to come two hours later in the day,
let's say 10 o'clock and finish at,
let's say one or two o'clock,
whatever time that is,
it's really of little consequence to the homeowner because by the time they get home at six o'clock,

(01:47):
it's all clean.
Yeah.
So I think what's more important,
I think we do have staff,
a lot of our customers,
they work from home.
So I think they like that arrival window because they could plan their day if they're working,
you know,
certain areas of the home.
And I think our,
what we like is also the communication with our customers.
They,
you know,
they,
they see that team arriving,

(02:08):
they get that text notification.
We're on our way.
They will like they notified us,
hey,
please start downstairs in the basement or skip my office,
you know.
So I,
I like that our,
our clients are very comfortable letting us know,
you know,
where we could start.
And they also love the heads up that we're on our way it is kind of nice to know,
especially if someone's on a conference call or a zoom video call.

(02:31):
Um,
the last thing they really want is the doorbell to ring because when the doorbell rings,
when you're not expecting it,
then the dog barks and then the whole thing comes crashing down on their meeting.
So if they know that you're 30 minutes out,
then they can prepare for that.
And,
and that's helpful and of course,
if they're not home,
they'll allow you access into the house with,

(02:52):
uh,
some type of lockbox or,
or a key to get in.
Right.
Yeah,
they provide,
either we either have a key here in our office or they provide of course,
a lockbox in the property.
So,
or either that or they say,
uh,
through different areas of the home,
like the back door or through the basement.
So I like we have all that information in and usually a lot,

(03:12):
we already know the procedure.
So a lot of it's already in the,
our teams are aware of it.
Yeah.
And you know what's really nice today?
Everybody is with technology.
You might have a door lock that you can unlock from your phone.
Um,
sometimes you can give,
uh,
the,
um,
the service,

(03:33):
whoever's coming to your home,
in this case,
cleaning service,
a one time code to get in.
So there,
there are just a lot of options.
Now,
you don't always have to be home and of course made Brigade will ahead of time,
let you know when they're coming so you can be prepared.
And I just think it's fantastic,
the flexibility you guys have with all the options today.

(03:55):
That's great.
Thank you so much for joining me today here on the program.
Thank you for having me.
