Most traditional, American Christian household teaches that both men and women should abstain from sex until marriage. But there is a subset of Christianity called Purity Culture that has a harmful affect on young girls and their views of themselves and how they relate to men.
Today's guest, Amber Schultz, is a wife, mother, and musician who was raised in a religious cult where purity culture was very much a part of her upbringing. Today, she is here to share with us her experience, how it has affected her relationships, and what she’s doing differently today.
