like the Attorney General Rob Bot issaying, no more hidden restaurant fees.
Now, if y'all didn't know,a lot of these restaurants have been charging
us extra fees kind of not necessarilyunder the table, but they've been implementing
search charges to try to help paytheir workers. They said, a lot

of these workers, we know fora fact, have been living pretty much
off of tipping, so they havebeen dropping in quote unquote hidden search charge
fees on these restaurant bills. They'resaying, well, it's just kind of
how we've been helping make ends meet. But the Attorney General says, no,
you're stealing from people because not onlywith that, you also include you
know, gratuity of course with largerparties and things like that. So he's

saying, basically, they got toget rid of these fees so they can't
be robbed. But what is itthough, when you say junk fees,
it's like what, okay, SoI'm not I'm not a person that always
looks at my town. Yes,I kind of just had my car like
here you go, and they're likeokay, and then you know, if
the math makes sense, I'm notlooking for an extra dollar or two,

and that's probably how they were gettingus. He said, they're actually just
they mask them saying their service feesquote unquote. But these exit search charges
literally are ones that you don't haveto pay. And again a lot of
these restaurants have been throwing these onthere to try to help pay for the
insurance for these employees. Yeah,it needs to be in the price of
the food. It might help somebodydecide on a menu item. Yeah,

I mean, I hope that doesn'taffect employment for our weight staff or whoever,
the cooks and everybody else. Butyou definitely need to inform people what
they are paying for exactly. Youcan't just put it in there like Okay,

but also State Farm have been bigoffenders, and they're like, oh,

and crisis like that. But alot of these people are like, well

what are we to do? Andnow this thing is even impacting the real
estate industry because of course Podgy youknow firsthand, you know, working with
these folks who are either buying homesor looking to sell homes. You need
that home insurance if you're moving intosomeplace new. Yeah, specifically in the
areas which we said, what wasSanta Rosa, Da Da those areas.

that will get you insured. Youknow what I'm saying. So if you
could afford a two million plus dollarhome, how lad you play us and
we will find you some home insurance. So yeah, I mean they're saying
that, you know, it's justan unfortunate situation, and these residents are
just like, okay, so canyou provide us like some alternates or something.
I was not able to get itthrough State Farm. I was also

turned down by Geico, So I'mnot really sure what to do. Online
and everything, people are just asking, you know who will insurance. Where
can we get insurance? And peoplewho have single family homes, you know,
who don't have any coverage or safety. I'm not really sure what they're
supposed to do. It's a littlebit of a scary situation, you know.
I mean, shoot nowadays, tobe quite honest, what does it
cover? My pipes went out,they weren't there, you know, some

other stuff. So it's like minimalwhat they'll actually do, except for like
a natural disaster, which is whatthey're worried about. So I understand,

They're telling a lot of these homeowners. The option that you can go for

it happened back at the end oflast year, when Oakland missed out on
that humongous grant due to of courseall the retail theft that had been going
on out in the Bay area.We know San Francisco got they money seventeen
million, And now an Oakland auditorhas been digging into the situation and said,

Yo, y'all know, y'all missedout on the grant that's up to
fifteen million dollars. And he's basicallyblaming the entire management of the city.
He's like, look, man,y'all really let Oakland down. In so
many words, you guys prepared,but you didn't go ahead and submit in
time for the grant. Basically yourhomework was late. So we paid him
probably thousands of dollars to state theobvious because we knew exactly what happened,

quote unquote lack of leadership. Yes, with the state of the city the
way it is, with the crimelevels that are happening, how these poor
business owners are being affected and havingto shut their doors, places that have
been in Oakland for years, yearand you know, maybe not making a

disgusting. Yeah, there should havebeen some chopping being done. I don't
understand it. What we found isthat there was a poor communication, no

five moms included, because one ofthem had a whole stroller sitting there while
