(00:00):
Bad common then common man? Nowshall people solid plan s learn? Can't
help? Approach will fail. Tom, It's time for common man. The
common man charge the houseless. Igo and can what shoot? Where we

(00:23):
play? Now? It's a nonsenseobject today to man, it's time for
common man. Why should anybody aspireto be a common man? An average
man? Do you realize what itmeans to be average? That means you're
the best of the lousiest and thelousiest of the best. Now, if

(00:43):
we demand more and more for producingless and less, while the have not
nations encourage and inspire and indeed requirehard work and maximum effort. If we
deify the common man while they encourageand reward the uncommon ones, while the
andres a have such a lopsided raceas that is too obvious to require elaboration.
I mean it's like hello when you'rein these playoffs series. For me,

(01:07):
I'm always looking for the smallest ounceof weakness that I can find.
And the way Carl Anthony twas walkedoff that floor at the lift after he
played the rest of that game totallyfine, and then he could barely walk
leaving the court. They don't believeanymore. And when you lose belief the

(01:27):
defendite champions you plany is when youlose the belief, it is over and
they don't believe they can win anymore, which means this series is over.
I told this sover. Don't youlove anversity? Don't you love Game sevens?
Don't you love it? I thinkwe all do? Yes, Yes,
I do, Yes, I do. We have so much to get

(01:47):
to today. We'll replay the montagelater today. We need to talk about
Big Meal. We need to talkabout him, about nas Reed, We
need to talk about McDaniels and Finshand go Bear and everybody else. Everything
that happened that game, the highs, the lows, the ups and the
downs. I don't even know whereto start with the Wolves game, So
let's spin the wheel of topic.I'm a lands On dig me out because

(02:15):
he really deserves a rubal slap onthe a. Tenabe's betting slip, well,
I didn't see that coming. I'vegot an offer you can't refuse.
Tenneby, Yeah started out first ofall with a pair of my old used
golf shoes. As a matter offact, I'm retiring him after this weekend.
I bought a new pair of golfshoes over the weekend up at Minnesota

(02:38):
National. Now you probably can't fitin because they're nine and a half.
Yeah, it's not gonna work. But you know what, maybe cut the
toes off and you could have anopen toed sandal golf shoe. So the
golf shoes love that one. Plusa signed autograph copy of my book.
I'm going to return my tarp shoeor I got from you gently used in
addition to that, Tennabe, Nowhold on, this is a big one.

(03:00):
My three point thirty tea time todayat Prestwick at Wedgwood and Woodbury is
all yours. You'll be playing withbaby brother Peter and then filing average.
This is how excited I am,Tenna be, and how much I want
that betting slip because I want thedough. I'm going to give you my
firstborn child from my second wife, who hasn't been born yet either, so

(03:22):
I don't know if it's gonna bea boy or a girl, and when
that's gonna happens. My second wifehasn't been born yet, so I'm willing
to offer you all of that forthat twenty two to one odds betting slip.
You bet, you bet twenty twoto one odds. You put down
one hundred dollars on the soon tobe NBA World champion Minnesota Timberls. Remember
last week, people were offering yousilver and gold, silver and gold,

(03:49):
Frankensonson, Murr. They were offeringyou, they were offering you riches,
and you turn them all down becausedon't stop. Believe even Ash, I
think you were ready to take acouple of those offers. They were pretty
good. But that being said,I did have some moments of weaknesses.
We'll have a couple of moments ofweaknesses. But guess what, you stayed

(04:11):
strong. You stayed this course, and I did as well. And I
just went I've gotten a number ofemails we'll get to him, trust me,
of people saying common you were rightall along. I should never have
doubted you. I took a lotof heat when I suggested, Hey,
sure, it's nice to sweep theSuns, and it's great to be out
to a two zero lead over theNuggets, but gosh darn it, I'd

(04:32):
really like to see some adversity. And we quoted from the Good Book last
week. Maybe it was late theweek before about adversity and about how I'd
like to see you a game seven, because that's what it's all about,
black Jack Morris Game seven ten inand complete game shut up? Would that
have been as dramatic, as excitingor as enjoyable and satisfying to the sports

(04:56):
fan if it had been in gametwo, game four, game five?
Course? And people said, well, come, we don't want to take
that chance. How was that inMinnesota? You know? Ever, you
know, waiting for the other shootto drop always the parent of waiting for
the other shoe to drop. AndI said no, I said, I
said, this will make it thatbecause if it's if you're meant to lose,

(05:18):
you're meant to lose, right,So what's the difference if you get
out to a tool lead and losefour in a row. You were meant
to lose that it wasn't meant tobe. But guess what happened the nuggets
after I said that, one threein a row. And then I was
really catching heat from people. Matterof fact, I'd applied for and I
just got accepted this morning in themail witness protection programs because people were looking

(05:41):
for me. People were out toto tan my high. Well, guess
what you like Game sevens Now youlike a little adversity, and we got
are historically good. It's the greatestcomeback in NBA history in a seventh game
of a playoff. Yeah, afterhalftime, the record had been eleven points,

(06:02):
a team had come back from Wecame back from a fifteen point deficit,
and at one point had been twentypoints. Now you can thank me
because this is so much better.Bring on the maps, Bring on the
maps. So let's bring on akeyword from Tennebee to try to put a
gram in somebody's hand. Yeah, the Fan and big deck dot com want
to give you a shot to puta grain in your hand with our national
cash contest. Just enter the keywordgreen at kfan dot com now for a

(06:24):

Yeah, two decades in the making. Your Timberwolves are Western Conference Finals bound.

(06:46):
Come howl with Nardo for a Gameone watch party this Wednesday at the
Freehouse starting at six thirty pm.Enjoy great food and freehouse beer and register
to win great prizes. Pull detailsat kfan dot com. Keybord calendar.
A couple thirteen fourteen tasks common Manprogram. I'm common least ten tobe offers

(07:10):
coming in fast and furious for Tennabe'sbetting slip. You bet many, many
moons ago that the Wolves would winat twenty two to one odds. You
bet one hundred dollars if the Wolveswere to win them. Hold on,
I can't believe I just actually saidthat when the Wolves win the NBA Championship
here in about a month, maybeeven a little less, tenne people will

(07:30):
win twenty three hundred dollars. Thatgives him one hundred dollars back, plus
twenty two others twenty two hundred otherdollars. But here's one Tennaby. Here's
an offer for Tennabe, a threehundred and sixty nine dollars customized set of
golf clubs with dust already included onthem, a signed common Man wet blanket.
He'll buy out your tarpshooter inventory, and he'll pay for Ingrid's college schooling

(07:54):
signed bail at in. Guy.That's a hell of an offer. Sound,
that's a really good govern And youwould think, well, that's going
to cost him a lot more, but ten to be it's just being able
to have the betting slip framed andin your home. I don't even think
he'd cash it is. That's howcool it is. It's like a souvenir.
It's like a souvenirs. What itis? I do want to read
this? This this text message ourBrad John Brian call. This actually wasn't

(08:22):
text message. I'm sorry. Letme rewind that I was apposed to common
at KFA and dot com. Itcame last night at ten thirty two,
shortly after the Wolves a one gameseven and punch their ticket to a spot
in the Western Conference Finals opposite theDallas Mavericks, and it reads his finals
thanks with two exclamation marks. Iwas mad at you last week wishing for

(08:45):
a game seven, but after tonightI take it all back. That was
fantastic. You are the best, love the grum gal. And that was
just one of many, I wouldsay, hundreds hundreds hundreds of email,
text messages, phone calls. Iwas Rhyanstone cowboy like, I'm getting cards
and letters from people I don't evenknow, and offers coming over the phone,

(09:07):
people thanking me and saying you dosee all you do? You did
understand because see at the end ofthe day, it really is just sports.
Sports, Sports is your whole life. Just sports is supposed to be
just fun and for me to sweepand just then what sit around for?
How long tend to be? Howlong were you even sitting around waiting for

(09:28):
another game? Four, five sixseven days? Four or five six seven
days? Now we got to seeit. And again, had it ended,
let's say the let's say the Nuggetswould have won last night or wouldn't
have gone to a game seven.Sure that would be disappointing, but tend
to be then we would do thatwhat sports fans have said forever, in
every sport, in every city,in every country, Wait till next year.

(09:52):
Right, that's all we have towait for. I I was a
big fan of the Wolves coming outof preseason for one reason, and one
reason Rudy Gobert said. He declaredit was the teams chosen identity defense,
and defense wins championship. As Tennebyhas another NBA team, do you think

(10:18):
ever selected defense as their identity?I just don't think it happens, because
it's human nature. When you area hoopster, when you've been playing in
house travel basketball. Howard Pulley,Pop Warner basketball, AAU FBI, CIA,
BBC, bb KING Basketball, collegehoops and pro hoops to want to

(10:39):
score, score, score the ballgently down the court, and for a
team, a professional team to say, we want defense to be our identity.
And that's what won the game lastnight. Tenneby JFK. You familiar
with him? John F. Kennedy. John Fitzgerald Kennedy wrote a book called
A Profile Encourage last Night, theWolves Road to Profile and Defense. That

(11:03):
was a brilliant of Oslster and ateam that it's so cliche, we're using
a lot of them today. There'sa reason cliches are cliches. I coined
that phrase. It started here. There's a reason cliches are cliches. That's
because generally speaking, they are true. Let's tip bar cap right away to
big me out. This is aguy, Tendabee that has he's withstood a

(11:26):
lot of criticism. You know,he was a first overall pick and what
seven eight years ago. I don'tremember exactly how many years he's been in
the league. This is seventh threetimes, maybe nine. Yeah, so
nine years ago he was a numberone pick overall out of Kentucky. Flip
Saunders selected him with the number rowoverall, the late Flip Saunders and you
know, Towns has been what atwo or three time all start. He

(11:50):
has been the face of this franchiseuntil you know, basically the last couple
of years when Anthony Edwards, alsoa first round pick, first pick overall,
burst onto the scene and basically hasbecome I would say he's I would
say he's become the face of thefranchise. I don't think anybody would argue

(12:11):
with that young, fresh faced kidwho we saw Tennaby go from an infant
to then he started a crawl, and then he became a toddler, and
I think now he's probably a tween. You know, I don't think he's
quite a teenager yet, but he'sI think he's like, he's about like

(12:31):
twelve years old right now. He'sright between the teenage years. And we've
seen him grow before our very eisten. He's he's grown, he's matured,
and he's grown up, and he'sbeen kind of the face of the franchise
here. But Big Meal was terrific, especially in game six, my game
six, Hands seven, but Gamesix, his defense was superb. He

(12:52):
basically was much of the time inboth games going one on one against the
Joker, and while the Joker stillgot his points, particularly last night,
I don't remember exactly what the Jokerhad last night. I think I jotted
struggled from three. I know that. Yeah, So what we did well,
he was thirteen for twenty. Hewas he was an awful three point

(13:16):
shooter last night. Through the entireseries. He got us thirty four last
night, but it took him twentyeight shots. He was thirteen for twenty
eight, nineteen rebound, seven assists. He had to work for all of
those points. He had to workhard because they decided to double Joker a
little bit. His defense was particularlygood last night in the night before,

(13:41):
and also he sort of his offensein the first half. I think he
did have thirteen in the first half. I think it was that kind of
kept the Wolves in that game.If you call being down by fifteen at
the half in the game, Imean, it did look like it was
going to be one of those goquietly into the night, especially when the
second half started. Suddenly the Wolvesfind themselves down twenty points. So he
was the only one providing offer.Yes, that's exactly right, and suddenly

(14:05):
the Wolves found themselves down twenty points. Now, this was after in the
end of the first quarter to earlyin the second. Okay, from the
end of the first quarter of thesecond, Denver went on a twenty seven
to seven run, which included sixteenconsecutive points. They were down nineteen sixteen.

(14:26):
After that run, they led thirtytwo nineteen and had a fifteen point
lead at the half, and alllooked lost. It did adversity at its
very finest right, but the Wolvespersevered because what they ended up doing is
from the end of the third quarterto early in the fourth, the Wolves

(14:50):
went on a thirty two to ninerun to take the lead, and Denver
shooting went ice cold, partly becausethey weren't They were getting some looks but
weren't making them. But also donot discount the defense the Wolves played.
It made it very difficult. Itwas a combination of the two. The
Wolves defense was creating havoc on thefloor and Denver did go wise cold,

(15:13):
and Murray, who had twenty ninepoints in the first half twenty nine points
in the first he was basically unstoppable. This was the Murray that I think
we've seen for quite some time now, including last year. When they won
in NBA Championship. He I hadhis numbers jotted down here too, but

(15:39):
I don't know, maybe I didn'tshot them down. I guess I didn't.
But Murray had twenty nine in thefirst half and ended up with another
maybe ten or eleven in the secondhalf. I think he had here,
it is twenty nine in the firsthalf, eleven points in the second half.
The defense was just extraordinary, andof course some of we'd like to

(16:00):
call our role players played very verywell. I don't know if I mean
Daniels is considered a role player, but you know that's a guy that he's
had his struggles here in postseason play. Nas was Nas and go bear maybe
had There was that stretch in thefourth quarter one go Bear we'll talk about
on the other side of the break, he hit that fade away shot that
Yeah, I don't know if hecould duplicate that again if he sat there

(16:23):
and tried it a hundred times. After that, Nas was electric late in
the game, coming in for BigMeal when he got in foul trouble.
So he was what we like tocall the team effort. Some really good
quotes coming out of the locker roomafter the game as well. We'll talk
more about the Wolves in Denver.Of course, we'll start looking ahead to
the Wednesday matchup Wolves versus the Mavericksat the Bulls Eye Adham. So much

(16:47):
more on the Common Man Program withTennebee here on the fan wat time in

(17:11):
What's Happening with your favorite kfan program. Make your voice heard on the Brad
John Bright text line. Let usknow we have to stay. But texting
your messages six four six eighty six. That six four six eight six standard
message in data rates. Apply mypro basketball, check that my basketball doesn't
matter what level. Pet Peeve iswhining to vehicle. Either I was fouled,

(17:37):
can't you see that? Just beggingand pleading, almost as if someone
was holding you at gunpoint and youwere pleading with them to let you live,
or you didn't foul. Are youout of your mind? That was
all ball, that was clean. That wasn't me, but tend to be.
I'm beginning to now know. I'mwondering if people feel the same way

(18:00):
about me when I give you this. All this radio station does, in
general and specifically the corner's office careabout is the morning show. I received
unprecedented response on the Brad John BrianKafan text line six four six eight sixty
year montage today. We received alot of bouquets, a lot of compliments

(18:25):
regarding your montages over the years, but today it's I mean there's I've received.
I think there have been more textmessages sent to the Brad John Brian
Cavan text line in the last halfhour than there's been maybe an all eternity
that we've had in Brad John RyanCavan text line. And yet I hear

(18:45):
nothing from the corner's office, nota peep, not a hey, great
job in the montage, and it'sall you. I'm not taking any credit
for it. The only thing Itook credit for was, Hey, let's
do a twist on the wheel oftopic today. I thought it was terrific
and I think a lot of peopleliked it. There are some people disappoint
I didn't play it. I wastoo busy thinking about the game pulling together
in my notes. Actually I'm playingthis afternoon instead. But just a sample

(19:08):
of some of them. How aboutthis one. The montage hasn't even started,
and I know the interim label shouldbe lifted. They have that much
confidence in you that they knew wasgoing to be a terrific montage even though
it hadn't even started. Same thing. Haven't even heard ten of A's montage,
and I already love it. Liftthe interim label and make him the

(19:29):
permanent producer of the show. Givehim the raise he so richly deserves.
You would take the raise over thelabel. Lift with you. Per matter
of fact, you would even takelow level producer of the show if you
got a raise. If it waslike to get a raise, you had
to be called the low level producerof the show. You would take that
label just to get that. Youcould do that as well. Absolutely legit.

(19:55):
Excited for the montage. I madesure to get to lunch in time
to hear today's montage. Changing schedules. OMG, the Drayman added value.
I'd forgotten about that. That waswhat for me. That was the cherry
on top of the cake. Eventhough you started with it was a perfect

(20:18):
way to start with it too,at the very beginning where Draymond said,
this team doesn't believe. And ifyou'll remember Tennaby, when Draymond made that
comment, we played it and Isaid to you, you know I've said
this to you before tim. IfI wasn't a major market radio talk show
host, if I wasn't a gadfly, if I wasn't an author, a
fledgling stand up comedian, et cetera, et cetera, if I wasn't the
official unofficial master of Minnesota Golf,I would want to be a psychologist because

(20:44):
the study of human nature is fascinatingto me, and sometimes you can study
human nature just by looking at people. And Draymond said he saw a look
on Karl Anthony Town's face specifically thatsaid I don't believe we can win.
And I said, I saw theface of someone that was just dejected,
decidedly disappointed. Yeah, that's acomplete different thing from being we can't believe.

(21:07):
So I don't know where Draymond probablyshould just spend more time thinking about
Draymond and controlling his emotions and tryingto be a good sport about things instead
of worrying about what other people arethinking. I do find it a kind
of interesting that he's still in theleague, and I get like, why
TNT wouldn't want to have him onebecause he's very opinionated and has personality.

(21:30):
But it just seems weird that he'sout there criticizing players he's going to play
against next year. Yah. Right, it's not a former athlete that's forever
in the booths as I'm going backto our and not only criticizing it,
but but missing the boat completely onhis analysis. I mean, it was
just and again, you know it'llhappen to people. I mean, Barkley
said the series was over, it'sa rap and now, but before the

(21:51):
game started last night he picked himto win and how he wants restaurant.
Well, even at halftime last night, Charles said they got to sit Rudy
Gobert. Correct did and Gobert wasinstrumental in the fourth quarter. I'm sure
he wasn't alone. There were othersthat watched the first half of Done Hay,
Well, I'm one of them.I mean, I'm watching that.
I'm going to go beart. Inthe first half, I would say he

(22:15):
was more of a liability than areliability. He was having trouble, But
in that especially, like you say, in that fourth quarter, he was
absolutely terrific. Thirteen points overall, nine rebounds. He had eight in the

(22:37):
fourth quarter, including that high arcingfade away that beat the shot clock.
A huge bucket there he ended up. By the way, here's the other
thing that he did. He wasfive for five from the charity stripe t
ennemy five for five. And thennot only there were Gobert's heroics, but

(23:00):
how about Conley with the three hehit late in the fourth quarter just to
beat the shot clock again, becausethat was when Denver was still in the
game, right they were, youknow, they needed a couple of stops
and score a couple of buckets. It was far from over at that point.

(23:21):
And Conley hits. I mean,if Conley misses that, and that
was a tough shot to beat theshot buck he misses that, if Gobert
doesn't make his, we might havebeen playing sad eyes today. That's how
important those shots were. And thenyou can't and I don't think anybody would,
but you certainly can't diminish what Nasdid. Came into the game right

(23:44):
about the seven minute mark, Ithink something like six point fifty seven to
go in the fourth quarter, becauseBig Meal got in some foul trouble and
you know, he stayed out offoul trouble till late. I think Big
Meal picked up a couple of foulslate in that fourth quarter. Yeah,
a couple of those Ticki tech ones. Yeah, the sa Qushman I get
that. I mean even baby brotherPeter, who I respect his opinion even
though I think he's a casual.Oh wait, that's me, he said.

(24:07):
I can't even watch sometimes he goesbecause Joker always gets there. They
he's always followed, and he neverfollows somebody. I guess you could make
that that case. He didn't getuntil fourth quarter. But Nas had that
that finger roll bucket, and thenthe one that might have been the one

(24:27):
and and maybe this wasn't the onethat actually broke the camel's back. But
when Aunt missed a layup opportunity andhe had that little it wasn't a slam
dunk, but he came up witha fingertip and just banged it into the
bottom of the basket. That's thatlive. I kind of thought was maybe
gold tidy, but it wasn't.I don't think. And whether it was

(24:48):
or not is is is beside thepoint. But you're right. I thought
the same thing too. But Ithink the Conley bucket, the gold Bear
bucket, and the Knas buckets werereally kind of the bad breakers because of
the ones he just didn't. Ididn't see him coming any of them.
You know, I didn't see goBear making that shot. And I'm not
saying Conley can't, but it's justhard to make it at the buzzer in
that situation. I guess that's whenyou're not even thinking about the clock.

(25:11):
You're just playing basketball, right, there's no what you know, where we
are in the game, what's this? But you're just playing hoops. And
they all came up with with reallyclutch, really clutch clutch buckets, and
uh, Jade McDaniels, like wesaid, tend to be Enough said,
wait, that's a TV show, isn't it? And their show called Enough
said, I think there's a showsomewhere on TV. But anyways, twenty

(25:33):
three points? What more is areto say he had? Was? Was
he the games leading score? Orare the team's leading scorer? I think
he was, wasn't he? Ordid somebody have more? Yeah? And
he was brilliant in game six too, He was brilliant games. I mean,
the whole team was right and ant. Like we say, I mean
they decided it wasn't going to beathim. That was their decision they made,

(25:56):
and it's happened before. We've seenit happen over and over again in
this in postseason, and ended upsix for twenty four sixteen points, eight
boards, seven assists the three aswell, so Aunt six for twenty four
sixteen points, eight boards, sevenassists, doubled all during the entire game

(26:18):
of tenby. What did he do? He stayed patient, He stayed patient,
He found his teammates. He onlyonce, I think, tried a
hero ball move that I thought wasuncalled for, and I think he threw
up a brick. I don't thinki'd even hit the net, the rib

(26:40):
or the backboard at all. Butyou know, he was trying to great
stuff. And I get that, especially at the teams down. You got
it. You gotta get back intothe ball game. But apparently what was
said, and I think this wasthis was post game where Ant said that
during halftime, didn't Finch basically sayto me, got to play faster,
got to play faster, mean quickerto decisions. And so he started getting

(27:00):
the ball to his teammates without hangingon to it instead of trying to be
hero ball. And I'm gonna beand I'm gonna win the game. This
is that growth we've been talking aboutand I think it's more if you want
to call maturity, I'll call itbasketball maturity. I think it's just learning
the game is what it is.It's it's the coaches. Another thing that
Ant said that was really what hepraised Finch unending. He said, it

(27:21):
doesn't matter where you're on the peckingorder. Ear it doesn't matter if you're
me or Big Meal or you're LucaGarza, You're gonna hear it from the
coach. If you're not playing basketball, if you're not doing the things you
need to do that will make theteam good, you're gonna hear about it.
It's there's there's no playing favorites herewhere I gotta be careful. I
got a tip to like like thecoroner's officers with the morning show here where

(27:42):
they always tiptoe around him and letthem do whatever they want, even if
it's detrimental to the entire station, which there really isn't anything detrimental they've done
to the entire station. But that'snot the point what I'm trying to say.
I would say I applaud Finch forthat, yes, but we also
need to applaud Anthony Edwards for thatand I get that's what Anthony Edwards should
do. Yeah, but not allbasketball players, not all stars, can

(28:03):
take that coaching, can take thatcriticism. That's an aunt at maybe just
because he's very mature for his ageand he's grown a lot For a twenty
two year old to be able totake that coaching from a coach, that
says something about aunt two. SinceTennis started doing the montages again, I've
had to set my alarm at elevenfifty five so I don't miss it.

(28:23):
These are truly life changing. Hislife has been shaped him. Do you
know how you are are away,You're touching people, people, You've You've
changed his life. He's changed hislife. If a genie gave me three

(28:45):
wishes, I would wish I wouldfirst wish for three more wishes. Then
I'd wish it was new and againso I could hear that montage for the
first time, go back to thefuture. Well done, young man.
I think I just knew the speakersin my car out. I cranked it
up so loud he blew out thespeakers. Timmy, do you understand the

(29:10):
gravity of what you do for people? Do you understand? I mean,
you know there are times you thinkthat we think we're just a radio show,
you know, just a middle andmidday radio show, kind of overlooked.
Even the wolves overlooked us, lookedoverlooked me all those years ago,
back when the first time we hadhim on the air, that that electronic
ribbon that goes around that separates thelower bowl and the second tier where they

(29:33):
put advertising. They would say,Pa and Doube to nine to one,
Chad and Burrero three to six thirty, No mention of one to three.
None, You've got people know whatthey do to one to three? Did
they just shut it down to restthe gonculator? Yeah, just to see
we don't do anything. We wewe we shut the equipment down to let

(29:56):
it rest. But so we oftentimesthink we don't really have an effect on
people. I'm not suggesting like whereas important as a heart surgeon or our
first responders. Right, I'm notsuggesting that at all tend to be.
I think we help a lot ofpeople. I will say, as a

(30:17):
montage artist, yes, and youare that over the last thirteen fourteen years,
you kind of end up doing alot of the same stuff over and
over again, right, and youcan kind of lose your passion for doing
a montage because the same Vikings highlights, same low lights, over and over
again, same twins lowlights over andover again. This is new for me.

(30:40):
I've never had positive Timberwolves highlights, never and montages to do, so
it's kind of reinvigorated me a littlebit. From a montage respective, It's
almost like you went from still lightsto landscapes to abstracts. As an artist,
you're changing your doing, evolving,You're evolving, growing, you are
You're yeah, you're maturing, You'relike ant. I always like Tom,

(31:00):
and I couldn't sleep last night knowingwhat was about to happen. Something like
this hasn't happened in a very longtime. In fact, a montage after
closing out of Game seven to advanceto the Conference finals may never have been
done before. Tenna A plus didnot disappoint in capital letters, it's time
to consider lifting the Bridge producer title. Yeah, I'll consider it, but

(31:22):
let's see what he comes up withduring the Mavericks series and then the Celtics
series. And now I'm being toldby the way, just so people know,
I'm the first Air talent to declareI will be working Monday memorially,
Oh are you coming into or youlove average TVD? I will be in

(31:42):
on Monday. The Wolves play onSunday, regardless of what night. I
think you're on call. This iseven more than on call. I'm in.
I've decided that I will leave CampRichard. You can call it Camp
Dick for short, but Cambridge ormy Campbridgard grand View. It's an annual
tradition for our family. I'll bethere. Deuced by the way. He's
in Aberdeen right now, getting ready. He's off today, checked in.

(32:05):
He's got like dormitory type accommodations whilehe stays there for a month. He's
interning at Dakota Bank and Aberdeen. He's got today off and then he starts
tomorrow. He went out and boughtsome nice clothes, some you know,
business professional clothing, right ties andthe whole thing. He looks good.
He's a sharp looking young man.I still that nat. That rat's nest

(32:27):
he has on the top of hishead bothers me a little bit. He
trimmed it down a little bit thanksto haircutter guy made him look really good.
But he'll be coming over to thegrand View on on this Friday evening.
I'm out Friday, by the way, you know that you are?
Yeah, boy, yeah, sorryabout that. I'm out Friday. I
think I have to bring my boysto work with me Friday because because they

(32:49):
don't have school, so now,for the first time, they're gonna witness
the ten of Fitzgerald. Oh boy, can you go get a couple of
white jackets for him? You might. I'd get life jackets for him for
sure, because you know what,I'm sure they can swim, but when
you're all those deep waters of LakeInferior, that's a lot of time to
dog paddle. My boy, thisis going to be the turning point in
their life where they've officially become disappointedin their father. Think about it.

(33:13):
Up until this point, I thinkthey've liked me as a father, like
me as a dad. Dad,You're really not very good at this,
are you, Dad? Why wereyou seem like you were floundering so much
today on the air. Why areyou sweating so much? Yeah? Think
about it. I always love thatone. All right, Well, I
guess I'm in. I guess you'rein, so I will be here,

(33:35):
and but I will be here Monday. Even if you're not here, I
will be here because I wouldn't missit. It's it's the loyalty in the
DIDIC. I can't speak for theother shows if they'll take their Memorial Day
off, but I will be herebecause I tend to be. I wouldn't
miss it actually being forced to comein. Yeah, they'll give you a

(33:58):
make good on that vacation day later. Well here's the thing. Can I
just say this, and this isripping almost every media person in the world.
They just can't wait to get onto share their opinion. That's great
because that's what you do for aliving. It's like I, let's say
the Wolves place Sunday. I canstill talk about Sunday's game on Tuesday.

(34:19):
I can still do it. Butstation is calling for me to be here,
and guess what tend me. I'mnot going to fight. I'm a
company guy. I always have beena company guy too, always agreeing with
everything the company has done, everythingthey've asked for. I've always been that,
never put up any any What's whatI'm looking for? Any resistance.
I'm always there for the company,so I will be. It sounds like

(34:40):
you went up to have it today. You said, Hey, I'm looking
forward to having a Memorial Day off, and he said, bring your ass
here. Yeah, that's bacially whathe said. That's exactly what he said.
And you know what else he said. He looked at me and he
said, I'm looking in your eyesand I don't think you believe you can
do it. It's like Draymond like, and that was no, I'm just
pointing, do you want me towork on Memorial Day? That's so I

(35:00):
was just disappointment, am I muchlike Big Meal was disappointed they lost.
I was just disappointed you wanted meto work, But I will be here.
And guess what I said now iswould our show be one to four
New England time Boston time? Becauseif the Wolves get to the when the

(35:27):
Wolves get to the NBA Finals, you know Big Ticket's going to be there.
You know PA is going to bethere in the morning show is going
to be there. And I thoughtyou and I should be there. So
I said the show will be oneto forty, said somebody's got to stay
back. And then you know Isaid this where I think I got him.
I'm the only one that can doa Boston accents, gonna pop my
car in the garage that I didn'ttell you the story. Did I told

(35:49):
that on Tea Green. We werehaving dinner with some of the people that
own and operate Minnesota National where wedid t de Green. Just a terrific
time up there, and the menua spectacular. The golf course is great.
Had such a good time. Theyrolled out the red carpet and common
was afforded every courtesy and consideration.Martin was tagging along. He's a really

(36:14):
good friend of one of those that'sinvolved with Minnesota National. Lived in Minnesota
for a while, but he's inNew Yorker right, he lives in Long
Island. And so I said theold where do you pac your caa?
And he say, he goes, that's a Boston accent you're doing. And
I didn't realize it. I thoughtI was doing a New York accent to
kind of a Joysy accent. Butapparently I'm doing a Boston accent the epoquaca,

(36:37):
well is it? See? SoI'm working on my different East Coast
accents. But if you're going togo to but somebody's got to be tend
to be somebody in the traveling party. It's like speaking a different language,
just like being able to like, let's say, tennebe, is there anybody
here on the airshet that speaks fluentSpanish? Couldn't be Barrera because he's running
from his Hispanic hericage. No wayto he is Spanish. But well,

(37:00):
yeah, to sit there, yougo. But if we're in New England,
somebody's got to be able to speakBoston, and I'm the guy.
They'll want the stand me this way, otherwise they won't understand the thing was
saying without a little Midwest accent.Would a boot? Would it boot this?
I gotta be able to go onabout I gotta be able to talk
with this so I can be thetranslator for us. I can be like
the tour guide. I can makeall the reservations. I can take care

(37:22):
of all the pocket take care ofthe car rental and all of that.
I'm the guy that I've gotta go. Plus, there's some really good golf
courses there, including the country Club. If I wonder if we can get
on the country Club. You thinkMichaale must still have connection, I would
think so you drop his name soone before means you and I could tee

(37:44):
off like seven am somewhere in theBoston area golf course, right, get
the first tea time be done aboutten thirty eleven o'clock, just enough time
to head over to the Garden inBoston to the garden. Will we get
home court advantager day? How doesthat work? The better record? I'm
assuming that's so Games one and two, the big talk about the day in

(38:07):
between, we can play thirty six. Oh well we have to do the
show on. Oh that's right.Maybe that's where we give Max his big
chance, to let him do theday in between. From here, let's
give him his beah Fox and Max. Yeah, Fox and Max together.
Now Max uses two Fox and thefro they call him. Well, here's

(38:29):
what i'd call it. This iswhat i'd call it, because you've got
two x's and Max and then andthen one in Fox rated triple X show,
the rated triplex radio and triple Xray. Like yes, triple x
radio. Because remember Max has gotexperience working over at the VU, so
he's seeing women that are nicked, right, I mean he has. Maybe

(38:52):
you can't deny it. Triple Xradio, No triple triple rated right now,
how would triple X radio just tripleX radio, triple X radio.
Max and Fox on the figure out, Max and Fox give them their big

(39:14):
chance, give them a midday showright between games one and two. By
the way, I know you're alreadylooking ahead to Boston, right. I'm
a little disappointed, a little sadthat Jed and Jethrow are no longer be
Dallas, because how good would beto listening to the Dallas radio going into
the Friday Not it's on Wednesdays game. We missed Jed and Jet throw for

(39:35):
a lot of other things to wow, Yeah, a lot of other things.
But that's that's a whole nother storyin itself. That's a business decision
that I was not out of.Part. As we go to Brighton,
get ready for five, three four. I'll leave you with this email.
Tennab just came to common at sixforty six this morning. Game seven is

(39:57):
the subject. The subject is thetitle of this The subject matter says the
Wolves must have heard the tale ofCommons, round of golf in Scotland time
zone, body clocks or katiean rhythmelevation built in excuses, and they didn't
use any. All I know isdefense travels. I love it. Defense

(40:17):
travels, defense travel and that's andfor those that want to talk about high
elevation boy, you're gonna have youhard to catch our breath? And what
about those time changes? And it'snone of that matters, not one tend
tobe. You got the secret weapon, Kenny Rogers, put your heart at
it. Did you see my tweetlast night? I set out a picture

(40:38):
of Kenny Rogers and alongside of itwas from the album Covered and said,
when you put your heart in thewhirl win first album, will Break,
Will Come Back five, three, four, ten of what You Got History
was made yesterday at Valhalla
