ho losing three in a row,thinking all is lost, discussing do we

Then when they went up too oh, I thought, well, yeah.
When the Wolves went up too oh, it was like, well,

it was two games to one.But it was fun. That's all right,

this up three to one and thenit's all in our favor. All of
a sudden, Denver wins. Notonly in game four, but game five,
and after Game four I thought,well, yeah, it's Denver now.
And then especially after game three,I several people asked me, and
I think I said it on theair yesterday. I would not be shocked

if the Timberwol was won, butI would be surprised because I thought Denver
was. I thought they were circling. You know, they smelled blood.
They're the defending champs. They knowhow to all those cliches that half of
them I don't even believe. Butthere must be something to them, because

And then they come back and theywin three in a row. And
the team basically said that that highlightpackage did inspire them. So then you
look at today. And I don'tknow if we were aware of this before.

I'd not seen it until today,but apparently the Wolves did almost something
very very similar. You had thesound bite at the beginning of the montage
where Aunt basically told the attendant inDenver, we'll be back, coming back,

around the team, was what Annsaid. So coming into game six,

No, it was an edit ofall the good things they did in games
one and two. The team showedup Thursday night. That team showed up

on ourselves, just trying to pointthe finger blame somebody. Everybody started to
believe. They started to put theirheart in it. I added that part
they started to believe after that littleedit that they put together, I could
tell the energy shifted after that littleedit. That was big time. I

said, it was like a hypevideo design to reignited competitive fire that had
gone out and the Wolves McDaniel said, quote, it had a good effect
on us, just showing that we'reable to compete with these guys. What

defensive effort, how much smother aguy deny him the ball. Do a
little disc at that. But there'sbeen there have been previous games where I
thought the Wolves are playing good defenseand Denver was just making miraculous shots.
Yeah, last night they had openshots they were missing. That's exactly right.
And the Wolves weren't missing there,they were making including wasn't it was
it was it McDaniels or was havingtrouble throughout the series? Or no offensively?

Yeah? Who had twenty one pointsthat? Yeah? And he had
not done much offensively at all,and all of a sudden he scored twenty
one points. Can he duplicate thatagain on Sunday? I don't know.
Well, they even need him to. We don't know either, because they
were able to win game without offensiveproduction from him. But another possible factor

in the game is was it withina minute or two at the start of
the game Murray injured his elbow orhurt his forearm or something. He was
in a lot of pain, andthey even asked him during his press conference.
He said, we'll see you know. He don't, he doesn't know,
but that certainly could be a factorin the game. May have been
a factor of why he was againstruggling to score points. He couldn't,

but none of their guys could couldcould make baskets, and Towns did a
really nice job. You know.Ant pointed out when town stays out of
trouble, we're a better team.And stays out of foul trouble and we're
a better team. And that's whathappened yesterday. Town stayed out of foul
trouble. He's probably their best optionon one on one against Joker, and
he I thought he did a reallynice job. I think I think Towns

came to play the last two nights. I think he's been even when they
lost in Game five, he waspretty good. He was one of their
better off defensive players. So yeah, it all just it all came together
again tonight, and I think I'mI'm I don't anybody anybody else can do
it if they want. I'm donepredicting wins and losses anymore. With this,
I was saying the exact same thing. I think Game seven is just
unpredictable and it's not even worth predicting. It's just let's just enjoy whatever because

it's it's been a weird series.You mentioned like the drama and the ups
and downs, but that's really fromgame to game. Like within games,
there hasn't been a lot of drama. I mean three of the games have
been absolute blowouts, and even Iwould say two of the other three,
like one team was always going towin it. Yeah, they would be.
They were up enough that that teamwould cut into it a little bit

and then they score again and builda back like cut it. We're due
for a you know, game comesdown to the last last possession type of
game, and maybe we'll get thaton Sunday in Game seven. Because even
though it's been one team wins two, the other wins three, and the
other team has a historic performance inGame six, right, it really hasn't
been that great of a series,you know, where you have like down

to the wire buzzer beaters, backand forth basketball. It's been like,
you say, even three blowouts inthe other three games they were there was
enough space between the winning and losingscore where you never felt like, well,
unless this team puts on a realpush here, this this game is
pretty much decided. But yeah,I do like turning into a Game seven.

I'm getting people coming around that way. Then I get it. I
mean a lot of people still wouldrather have not had the the rapid heartbeat
of the last three four days,you know, five days week. You
know, they'd rather would have beennice to sweep in four we'd be just
sitting around hanging out thinking what isit going to be rest or rust?

What's going to hurt us? ButI like that it's it's it comes all
down to game seven. It shouldbe fun. And I kind of think
the one prediction I will make tendto be I don't think we're going to
see I don't think we're going tosee an unexpected hero. Either Joker or
Ant's going to win the game.It just depends who wins it, right,

I think either Joker is going tohave another historic performance like he did
in Game five where he won fortypoints. I think, I mean,
he was just unstoppable. He willedthem to victory after they awarded him the
MVP Trophy pre game or and hadhis was that game two when he had
the forty four points his his careerplayoff high, franchise career high for an

individual player. I think it's goingto be one of those guys is going
to rise. I expect both toplay really well in that game set,
but I know I'm not going outon a limb, but I expect both
to play really well. And it'sI'm not going to say whoever wants it
more, because they both want itas badly as the other guy and so,
but I think one will end updoing just a little bit more than

the other player and winning the game. Though, you know, and that's
not to say it couldn't be ann likely hero where like a nas Read
ends up being the guy that youknow is the driving force in the fourth
quarter, or or Connolly or JamalMurray or or Gordon one of those guys.
But it's been fun as far asthe emotional roller coaster but the games

just haven't been you know, thekind where you'd like to see, you
know, real close. I thinka couple of halftime scores were close,
but that was at drama. Yeah, there just hasn't been a lot of
drama in the games. A coupleof people have texted to the branch on
Bryan Kfe and text line that evenif the Wolves are to lose on Sunday,

that it's still you know. Iasked Rosen, would you think it's
a good season? Great? Hesaid it would, He would consider it
a good season, and I wouldtoo. Look, and I'm I'm the
wet blanket. I'm gonna get backto the Western Conference Finals guy, and
get get to the Western Conference finalsand get back to me kind of a
guy. But when you've when you'vekind of is reconnoitered a word, because

I think I'm gonna use it.I hope I didn't say anything wrong when
you kind of change the roster andyour approach what Connolly did by adding Gobert
and Connolly and uh, you know, uh trading d Low, just changing
the whole you know, not everybodyon the team, but the makeup of
the approach of the team. Ofhow they're going to play basketball right.

That takes a while. It.You know, I was talking to Big
Ticket earlier in the week and hehad mentioned how and he spot on,
you know Denver. You know theydidn't just all of a sudden win a
world championship. They they I thinkthey were a year or two ago.

They were swept in the first roundplayoff series or lost four games to one
or something like that. That it'ssometimes fans wanted immediately and they expected immediately,
and and you just kind of think, well, this is this is
our time. We got Aunt,we got the Stifled Tower, we got
Big Meal, we got nas Read, we got everything going for us.

Sometimes it's not your time, though, and and sometimes it takes a few
efforts to do it right. Youhave to you have to go. Yeah,
you got to go through it afew times. So regardless if they
were to lose on or anything,we don't like to see a victory.
Obviously, moving to Western Conference Finals, that's now looking like is it over

now? Did did did Dallas winners? Or is game six coming up?
Did they win last time? Theyless? Okay, so then then there
must be game six? Is isthat is it tonight? Game six,
I assume, so I'll take alook. It's I know it's tomorrow night,
right, Because I I thought,uh, of course, I'm not
paying as close attention to the leagueas I once did, but I thought

Oklahoma City would win that series.I I know Dallas is good, but
I thought that was an okay see, because you know, they know what
a pro wants and what a proneeds. But they're talking about your backs
meeting against the wall. They're inthat same situation the Wolves were going into
Game six, so you know,and I'm done predicting that whoever wins between
Denver and Minnesota is going to theNBA Finals, because I'm not going to

predict that either. I don't.I mean, I would guess they would.
They seem to be the two bestteams left unless okay se comes back
in rallies twice, you know,and then I you know, Boston,
I guess that's that's who you gotwaiting to standing in your way if you
get to the NBA Finals. Butwhat if we faced TIBs in the NBA
Finals. What if it was TIBs, that'd be kind of interesting. Yeah,

I wouldn't mind that, that wouldn'tbe a bad matchup. But yeah,
so and and I, you know, kind of worked out for me
because I had a round I wasplaying around today across town, so I
checked out of the Wolves. Guy, I didn't see the very end.
I don't know if you stayed atthe bitter end. Yeah, I got
out. I don't know early inthe fourth quarter. I got out probably

about the same time that Mike Malonegot out. He emptied his bench?
Did he empty his bench at Iread in the Fisher reff entry he emptied
the bench at about the nine anda half minute mark of the fourth quarter.
How often does a bench get emptiedat the nine and a half minute
mark. I mean that that initself is all you need to know.
If I told you ten to me, how big of a beatdown do you
think it was? One team's coachbasically emptied his bench for the entire fourth

quarter, you'd say it's a beatdown. Must have been about a forty five
point game. And that's exactly whatit was, because there was. And
here's here's what's funny. When itwas nine to Denver, I was about
to turn the TV off, said, well, this is over there.
They're gonna even though it was soearly, you just you know what I'm
saying. We just felt like,yeah, this is our response. Huh,

it's so Minnesota. We're down threegames to two, here's our chance
in front of her home crowd withthe big white out, and then we
just let Denver that first Yeah,that first two, three minutes, four
minutes, whatever it was, theyjust look like they were gonna have the
forty five point victory. And thenwas ours a twenty three oh run,
twenty four to oh one. Imean, that is the definition of Yamama

can't stop us. Your daddy can'tstop, as Joker can't stop us,
Denver can't stop as the police can'tstop. I think they had two of
those runs in that game. Hadtwo of those runs twenty year old,
twenty or more and at that pointand then I was still waiting in that
first half for Denver to make theirrun right, that they would do the

Okay, let's because if you'll remember, was it man they all run together?
Was it game one where we jumpedout to an eighteen to four or
was that game three? And thenDenver came back and they took the lead
or wasn't game one? And thenwe ended up winning. But again I

was waiting for a Denver run.I was went for, Okay, they're
going to settle down NBA defending NBAChams, veteran club, they know how
to win games, but they theynever answered the call. Never it and

much of the credit, if notmost of it, I don't think all
of it, but most of itwas due to the Wolves defense. They
got back to that swarming help defense, smothering, double teaming guys when they
needed to be double teamed, doingthe things they used to do that made

them the best defensive team statistically inthe NBA this year. And then their
offense never let up either. Itwas kind of early. Ant passed up
a number of shots early in thegame, and I thought, what's he
doing? But he knows what he'sdoing. He knows to get other people
involved, make sure that everybody getsinto the flow, because that's it that
is important with if you have itcan be dangerous to have to rely on

one guy. Now, it workedfor Denver the other night with Joker,
but if your other guys aren't likegetting some touches and feeling like they're part
of the game and getting in theflow, I think that can be difficult,
like bench guy's coming off the benchand immediately being asked, well,
he's just score points. I've beensitting on the bench all game. It's
gonna take me a shot or two. But Denver was just awful shooting the
