a Ryan Seacrest.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
All right, guys, it's no jump Friday morning, let's hear it.
The spirit sticks are here, nice Friday morning.
Speaker 1 (00:17):
Here. I know I couldn't reach my button. Nice.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
I will tell you this, and I have no problem
with it. We get in a little later on Friday
morning before this thing starts.
Speaker 1 (00:27):
And it's fine, right times come in. We'll wing it.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
We we wing it more than you think we wing it.
Speaker 3 (00:33):
But we also kind of get here like Tuesday, you know,
a little earlier than now. Now, we just got here
and putting our headphones in our ears are over our ears, Like.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
How have you been enjoying your new headphones?
Speaker 3 (00:45):
Pancake headphones now? And frankly, these are what people wear
these days. So to all the indie podcasters you see these.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
I do miss the sound quality of wearing.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
Why did you get some of these days? I know, pancakes.
Speaker 4 (01:02):
I haven't waring cans in like a decade at this point.
I mean, you know, I'm not loving like sticking these
in my ears every day.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
I think to got at some point do something bad?
Cast some gunk, right, They gotta cost some gunk in
that canal. Yeah, and who knows what those wireless things
are doing to your brain.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
Oh, that's a whole other topic. I have wireless ones.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
No, you can't mouth something. I've headphones on the other
side of pancakes. I can't hear you. All right, what
are we doing? Well, Friday, we're gonna start paying bills.
That's gonna happen here in just a few minutes. Today's
National Pickle Day.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
You guys like pickles, Yes, eat them every day. No,
it's a no for me.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
If I'm gonna be salty, I can take a bite
of a sliced one. I like a slice one on
a Chick fil A obviously.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
No, that would ruin the Chick fil A.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
No, they put them on there. That's their whole thing.
I know.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
And when I forget to ask for about it, I
can still taste.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
The gig is the signature pickles.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Their whole gig like pepper, the black pepper in the
fry there.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
The whole gig is the chicken. Yes, the chicken.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
Uh, you like sweeter Dill Dania. This is all you.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
Because I don't eat pickles. I don't know.
Speaker 5 (02:11):
I don't know I actually the pickle buying is Robbie's department.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
And is it sweet or dilly?
Speaker 5 (02:17):
Not dilly, I would say on the sweeter side. The
Israeli pickles.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Oh those sound great. Yeah, I'm over red over those.
Speaker 5 (02:24):
A little bite of a pickle with like a little
chicken or just like a little piece of protein that
you have and like little.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
You like Chick fil a.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
Sure, yeah, just describe scattered showers today. Probably know that,
So just think about that. We're gonna have rain. I
don't know where you're going, where you got to be,
which free weare? You're rolling on the two ten, the
four oh five to five. Look for those scattered showers.
They're gonna happen throughout the weekend. Actually it's gonna be
in the mid sixties, so wet and a little cooler.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
Be prepared. It's one of two points hundreds and golden.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
That's gonna be done live at our jingle ball and
tickets are coming up here. In a second, Leon Thomas
and Kid del Roy December fifth into its dim whych
you buy Capitol one? So Ruby, I just want to
highlight this for a second. Where how do you come
to work every day? Because I've done this too. You're
so like in autopilot, you miss your exit and then
you end up in a situation where there's not an
(03:16):
exit for a minute. Yes, and now you got to
get into an interchange to get into it, like another freeway.
Sometimes you get back onto the free where you were on,
or when you get off you realize there's not another
on ramp on the other side over there.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Yeah, so what route did you take?
Speaker 6 (03:27):
So I normally I live in Highland Park, So I
take the two north, hop on the one thirty four West,
and I don't know what happened. I guess I was
in autopilot mode. But then also is like the weather's
just been like, you know, very overcasty.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
So I am just driving.
Speaker 6 (03:45):
I'm on the one thirty four, and I'm like, wait
a minute, this does not look familiar. And I'm literally
almost to Pasadena when I should be passing Glendale East.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
It pushes your right on right on east through the valley.
I this happens to me every now and then, And
sometimes I was when I go somewhere to visit a
friend and I rent a car to go to their
home and I don't know the city. Actually it happened
to me when I went back to Atlanta, my home.
I grew up in the city Atlanta. Yeah, I rented
a car on my way from the airport and I
(04:18):
the music turned on, but it wasn't familiar with the
rental car. And they have changed things since I was back,
Like they built different things since there. Yeah, so I
was and I'm finding the map, but I can't really
tell when. Sometimes it's saying to veer off to the
left or right, like I feel like it tells me
last minute, and I ended up missing something. There was
no exit for a minute. And what is the worst
(04:40):
feeling ever, ruby is when that time recalculates what it was.
It was four minutes, twenty two minutes from four to
twenty two in one second.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
Yes, wow, it's really defeating the panic. You just get
sucked in your head.
Speaker 4 (04:59):
Like this happened to me when I was listening to
the Idea of You on tape.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
And you know how raunchy that book is.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
I don't.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
I was driving to San Diego and I look up
and I'm in riverside, Like I was like, what to
like And it's because it was like just so juicy.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
It's it's kind of like it's not vibe, but it's
the one where the mom falls in love with like
the singer who's kind of like the Harry.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
Styles of this Anne Hathaway movie. Yes, it was Anethey movie.
They made a movie out of it.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
Did I see it?
Speaker 1 (05:27):
Yes, it was Anne Hathaway. I didn't know that you
saw it. I don't think you saw it. You will
remember this. You should definitely go see the movie. It's
on Amazon.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
I might listen to the book and drive Vegas or something.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
Yeah, you could listen to the book. I think the
book was better than the movie.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
But you know, tweet the audiobook audiobook, Yes, because I
read the book, meaning.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
I listened to it.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
Yeah, I read listen to it.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
I tell you what, mo, where can I can? I
want to watch it? Where I watch?
Speaker 3 (05:51):
Yeah, you're here. You were happy. You made it me too.
You should have started at Millie's for a Nantella waffle.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
That's right there. They got this.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
Anybody five in the morning, that's when they're hot off
the iron lash. You guys, Tom Brown, this is Kids FM, now, cisiny?
Should we just do this here? Because lots gotta happen.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
I don't know what to do at this point.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
So there's a spider in your kids room. I saw
I saw a I don't know what it was a
snail or something. I thought it was a camera. What
I thought it was a camera in the ceiling.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
Oh, a camera, But it was like a snail or
a b or something.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
Camera selling right right right?
Speaker 3 (06:35):
Put a camera on my ceiling. As it turns out,
it was like a lady bug, bring good luck, check
my vision? All right?
Speaker 2 (06:43):
What happened with the spie?
Speaker 4 (06:44):
So yesterday we hear a big scream and Asa and
Savellah my seven and four year old. They share a
room together, and and so as a screams and goes dad, spider,
it's a black widow and like full freak out mode.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Is it a black widow?
Speaker 4 (06:59):
That's just what they say. They see a spider and
everything's a black widow. So I was honestly, I was
like in the bathroom and I was like not even concerned.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
I was like, oh, Michael, deal with it. And he did.
So he goes in there to try to.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
He's like, it's behind the dollhouse, and so they're like
moving the dollhouse and then there's no spider and he's like,
I don't see it, and then whatever moved on.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
He's like, I.
Speaker 4 (07:16):
Didn't get it, and they were like kind of freaking out.
So then an hour later, the same thing again. So
he goes he sees the spider this time and it
zooms into the closet. So now it's like lost in
the closet and it's He's like, I don't know, man,
there's too much stuff in there, eggs. So he just
left it and the girls are like, like so terrified.
(07:38):
They didn't sleep in their room last night. They refuse
to go in there and get any of their pajamas
and stuff. I had to go get their pajamas out
for them because they won't go in the closet.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
Now would do the spiders? I mean, the spidery is
big to them.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
I'm sure it is, but I almost like, how are
we going to deal with this? Do we just lie
to them and say like we got the.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
Spider goes it off, tape down the thresh of the
door where the space is, and say it's all concealed
in the chamber.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
Yeah, But I mean I don't think that's we need
to get this spider. Here's my takeover, or I just
say we got it and we just move on.
Speaker 1 (08:09):
You can't do that.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
They're both about lying to your kids.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
No, all cards do is lie to their kids. I'm
gonna ask, how do you are a spider?
Speaker 2 (08:18):
Just lie to your kid?
Speaker 7 (08:20):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (08:20):
And the other thing, I just realized, I'm gonna need
a husband.
Speaker 3 (08:24):
Oh yeah, what am I do with a squirrels in
the wall?
Speaker 2 (08:28):
What am I gonna do?
Speaker 3 (08:29):
I can't get the squirrel out. I'm afraid of the squirrel.
I need a husband.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
Yeah, Well, or just a wife that's willing to do
that as well.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
Could go both ways, but it could be. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:42):
So you're not the guy like you're like if I
married you, like you the guy?
Speaker 3 (08:45):
I mean, look, spiders don't freaked me out these days.
A snake I am not your guy. Oh no, a snake,
I don't think as anybody.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
I don't you that rats or a mouse. I am
not your guy to deal with that stuff.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
I mean accepting applications now exactly, Tubs, you want to
be my husband, I'm taking get the squirrel.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Tubs is your husband, But.
Speaker 3 (09:13):
I don't want the things that she wants from you.
Protect me, he brings it, your tea, Protect me from
the banshee.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
Buy your headphone IRDs. I know what you can do, Sysney.
Speaker 5 (09:26):
Yes, you can encourage it out with airflows. So maybe
take your blow dryer into the thing to ensure.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
You don't know that you google chat. Shepete it, so
get over it.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
Yeah, I know. Or you can bait it with prey.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
Let's cover that in the break. Bait it with pray.
Speaker 3 (09:40):
She's going to bring in other spide Eye to get
the spy dirt you're on.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Kiss? All right?
Speaker 3 (09:45):
Three words right now, Kiss, I'm got a quote of
the day. Three words you've gotta use to describe yourself,
they say, if you want to get more matches on
a dating app. For women, you say you're sweet, ambitious,
and thoughtful.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
Do you like it?
Speaker 3 (10:00):
There?
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Strong?
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Great words.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
For men, they say, you're physically fit, spontaneous, and perceptive.
I think physically fits sounds bragger.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
Yeah, I'd be so turned off.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
I would be too.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
I would not even I could I cringe it if
I were to say it. Yeah, I like to work out,
but I don't want to say it.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
Imagine you had that in your dating profile.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
Spontaneous. I like it, but that'd be a lie if
I said that. I don't like perceptive either what do
we think about overplanner perceptive?
Speaker 2 (10:33):
I mean perceptive sounds business y?
Speaker 1 (10:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (10:37):
Or it sounds judgy.
Speaker 4 (10:39):
It does, that's what it is. It sounds like cocky
and judge a bs.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
Then yeah, I think.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
You crush it on a dating app?
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Please?
Speaker 1 (10:48):
Which one your lips? To God's ears?
Speaker 2 (10:50):
What was you also impatient about me?
Speaker 1 (10:53):
I would love to have you on a dating app.
I create your profile, pick your pictures.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
What dating app am I going to go on? I'm
not going to be comfortable with that?
Speaker 3 (11:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (11:01):
Right, then then we can screenshot. You're protected.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
Why don't want you? And this is the whole point.
I don't want you engaged in my dating. Maybe it's
about time.
Speaker 4 (11:10):
We are engaged, because you know what, that hasn't been
gone so well lately?
Speaker 2 (11:14):
What do you know?
Speaker 3 (11:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (11:16):
Do you know?
Speaker 1 (11:17):
I think it's about time we get involved. Yeah, this
is our intervention. Like coaches, we all just signed four
more years.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
Right we did? Then somehow they're going to work their
way into this. I have a feeling all right.

person assigned Tuesday as the singles day. All right, listen
to this. You're in a relationship, some people are. It's
great tubs you're in one. You might want to chime
in on this.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
Maybe you're in one too, but you're just not sharing.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Maybe it wouldn't that be nice if I don't make
surprise reveal coming up for Christmas?
Speaker 1 (13:24):
It would be your style.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
It would be You're right, it would be so weird,

And then in January say, oh, you know what I
did over the holidays?
Speaker 1 (13:32):

Speaker 3 (13:52):
All right, Well, listen any relationship, listen to these things.
That's kind of interesting. Rules and are these things toxic?
Speaker 2 (13:59):
Are they healthy?
Speaker 7 (14:00):
So?
Speaker 3 (14:01):
What about having a new female friend. You're in a relationship, systiny,
if he has a new female friend. Is that a
healthy thing?
Speaker 2 (14:08):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (14:08):
I hate it?
Speaker 2 (14:09):
Okay, I understand I would.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
Fake it though, I'd be like, all right, cools, so nice.
Speaker 5 (14:14):
Then.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
You know, anytime a wife or a husband or anybody fakes,
you know when you're faking.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
Yeah, I mean I don't think it would. Like last
I was going to be thrilled because.
Speaker 3 (14:22):
In the transcript you were cool with it, but in
real life you were saying no, no, uh, okay, checking
in if you go out solo. Now, Tony, let me
take this to you. Okay, Robbie goes out solo, you
check in? Does he have to check in? Is he
check in with you?
Speaker 8 (14:39):
No?
Speaker 2 (14:40):
Is that true?
Speaker 1 (14:41):
Yeah? That's true?
Speaker 2 (14:42):
Or do you reach out to him to check on him?
Speaker 5 (14:44):
I don't hold back, Like if if I want to
text him about something, I'm not like, oh, I'm not
gonna text him because you're out with his friends. But
I'm not like checking in on him.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
But you don't hold back. Correct correct, So it's toxic
to do that. What say independence to be encouraged?
Speaker 1 (15:04):
Yeah, I mean if we go away for the weekend
or something.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
Yeah, fine, right, Well you guys, you guys are very
they're new at this.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
You've been doing this for a minute.
Speaker 4 (15:12):
Yeah, I guess you're right. Like before, I like when
I would land, I would text him like I landed.
But now it's like two days go by.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
Just check my location.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
I've seen in the news. I check the news every night.
She's away the headlines.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
All right? Sharing locations that good toxic tubs.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
Let me take us to you. You share locations with
your jiu jitsu partner?
Speaker 2 (15:36):
Uh No, I don't even know how to turn that on.
You do, engineer here, you want to turn that on.
Speaker 4 (15:42):
He's just claiming that because he doesn't want to share
his location.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
July.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
You guys all share locations, right, Yes, I.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
Share applications with Mark.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
I don't know why, you yourself, why everybody?
Speaker 1 (15:54):
Yeah, I think I share with everybody.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
All right.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
I think that that's not necessary. I mean maybe a relation,
I don't care. But with you guys, for sure, it's.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
A no why if anything?
Speaker 4 (16:03):
For us, it would be so easy then we would know,
like if you were getting to an event with us
at the same time, or like, oh he's just on the.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
Freeway, not at any event.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
Well, I've just seen the concerts that we go to.
Agree about it, I'm not angry about it.
Speaker 2 (16:15):

There's a new exhibit coming to the Grammy Museum. What
do you got?
Speaker 4 (16:32):
Yes, it is a special Selenakthania exhibit called Selena from
Texas to the World.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
It makes it.
Speaker 4 (16:49):
Really special because they're going to have a bunch of
items of Selena that's never been displayed outside of Texas before,
so they're bringing it here to La. Her sister Susette
helped put it all together, so you know, it's going
to be very personal, very true to who Selena was.
They're bringing out some iconic pieces like her dress that
she wore when she won her Grammy Member of the
(17:10):
White Dress and so that that's going to be on display,
the leather outfit from her More Brio album, and even
the microphone that she used during her final performance with
her lipsticks still on it.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
It's amazing. I think this is such a great thing.
Speaker 4 (17:25):
It is crazy and it's and it's crazy to think
that it's been thirty I plus years since you know,
she's left us. The exhibit's gonna run from January fifteenth
to March sixteenth, But if you cannot wait until then,
there is a Selena doc that is hitting Netflix this Monday,
and it's called Selena Elosdinos. It comes out, yeah, so
(17:47):
this Monday. It's never before seen footage of Selena and
her siblings growing up and the whole process.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
They documented.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
Everything they documented, like their whole journey of like becoming
a famous she became, and they have everybody in her
family in this doc. I actually was able to screen
it before it comes out, and I'm telling you, it is.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
It chills, it chills talking about it.
Speaker 4 (18:11):
It was just so beautiful, and her memory is just
still so alive within her family, and like the way
her dad and her mom, and her sister and her
brothers speak about her. It's just it's a beautiful documentary.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
I don't want to stop talking about that.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
It's extreme sweet, it really is. It's it's touching and
very heartfelt. Well thank you for that. Coming up next,
DJ trouble XL He's gonna roll some Friday mix and
then it is four seats Friday, four seats all day today.

Speaker 6 (20:11):

Speaker 2 (20:14):

Speaker 1 (20:16):
I said mouth wash.
Speaker 2 (20:19):
All right, let's go, Tanya.
Speaker 1 (20:20):
I said mouth guard.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
Okay, I said mouth wash.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
Yes, Sophia, I said mouthpiece.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
So we got two?
Speaker 3 (20:30):
Okay, Now you said you you got to get two
to tie three to win. Here we go, floor seats
to jingle ball tubs. That's what this is for.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
Here we go. Yours is shoe blank, shoe blank? What
is it?
Speaker 3 (20:41):
Shoe? Think about that? Shoe blank? Shoe what what did
you say?
Speaker 2 (20:47):
Shoebox? I love it, siny, shoebox.
Speaker 4 (20:50):
You're gonna love it even more, I said, shoebox the
tie for the tie, I said, shoe size.
Speaker 2 (20:58):
Doesn't matter. Ruby for the time.
Speaker 1 (21:00):

Speaker 2 (21:03):
Nice, you've got some real steaks. Here, got some real steaks.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
Jessica's got to you send you's got to Jessica's got

Speaker 3 (21:26):
Oh my gosh, congratulations just said yeah, you did it.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
Oh much, Oh my gosh. You guys don't even know.
Speaker 4 (21:33):
This is a tradition of my girls and I.
Speaker 6 (21:36):
We've done it for three years.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
And it's you know, we literally get seats all the way.
Speaker 2 (21:40):
We don't care in the back of the screen, we
don't care you're there.
Speaker 3 (21:44):
And oh my gosh, to tell everybody at the wedding
that you were the big winner this morning on Kiss FM. Congratulations, Oh,
thank you so much. And what your sister's name is
getting married?
Speaker 2 (21:56):
Yes, my sister, she just got married. Her name is Anna.
She's a special education teacher too, so love and congratulations.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
Hold on one second, and Jessica, Jessica, that was great.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
You did very very good.
Speaker 3 (22:09):
You got to go to you.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
I'm just excited.
Speaker 4 (22:15):
To speak with you.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
Thank you. No, I'm so exciting.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
I'm excited.
Speaker 4 (22:24):
I got to do.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
So it's good speaking.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
With you guys, well Jessica, because you're so humble and
grateful in this moment and it is a well end
of the week.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
Would you can I give you some tickets as well?
Speaker 3 (22:37):
Now these are not four seats, are said, but these
are great seats and you'll be there too.
Speaker 7 (22:42):
Okay, where I really appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (22:46):
Appreciate you listening. This is kiss This is what we
do on.
Speaker 7 (22:50):
Air with Ryan Seacrest.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
All right, good morning, it is Seacrest.
Speaker 3 (22:58):
With a scattered shower today throughout the weekend, highs in
the mid sixties.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
It's been spitting a little water out of the clouds. Lately.
Speaker 3 (23:06):
We have got your jingle Ball tickets and just a few.
I don't know if you're having issues with your phone,
but I am out if it's my phone or software.
Speaker 4 (23:14):
Are you having it beyond I have to delete my
email reinstall it. Like I'm not going it work. It's
kind of working now, but it's still kind of glitching.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Okay. I have so much glitch in my life.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
Yeah, that I could not be in a relationship because
I'm being glitched up so much. I have no time
for anything else but resolving my glitch.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
I know it's very frustrating.
Speaker 3 (23:37):
We are gonna talk about the glitch in coming up,
but first let's go to the back room. Michaela's been
here producing. I just want to know, MICHAELA. Mark gives
you high marks. He gives you high reviews, good reviews
on your producing skills.
Speaker 2 (23:49):
You should know as if yeah.
Speaker 4 (23:50):
You crush it right, we wouldn't hold that backs us.
Speaker 3 (23:57):
Mark tells me about all y'all, I'm scared because me
reports on behind the scenes all the time. Now the
question is, is Mikayla bad friend? Why are we even
addressing this?
Speaker 8 (24:08):
Okay, so I have a friend's birthday dinner this weekend,
but I said I would go, but then one of
my other friends offered me a ticket to the Magic Castle,
and I feel like I couldn't say no to that.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
Oh no, wait, wait wait, don't phrase it like that.
You basically won up Edith couldn't say no. There was
no guilt in it. You just got a better offer.
Speaker 1 (24:25):
There is guilty, guilt, feel bad.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
But what you're doing is what we do sometimes when
we date.
Speaker 1 (24:32):
It is what everybody does when they date.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
The Baasic deal. Is it called tree branching?
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Monkey branching that thing.
Speaker 3 (24:38):
Yes, this is the monkey branching of Friends BBD. Yeah,
grass is always greener, bigger, better deal. Now, this is
something that happens, for example, on the Red carpet all
the time, right on.
Speaker 1 (24:50):
The red carpet interviews.
Speaker 3 (24:53):
Yeah, like when you see a star at the Oscars, right,
and it's a star you know, or the Grammy just
take the Grammys, and it's star you've heard of. Then
all of a sudden, a big star walks up. That
person doing the hosting just moves the microphone right off
the lesser star into the bigger star's face and blows
them off.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
Time to wrap it up.
Speaker 2 (25:10):
Yeah, so it's a bigger, better deal. That's what you're
dealing with. Now.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
Why is the Magic Castle something you want to do?
You can't buy tickets, right, can't membership?
Speaker 8 (25:18):
No, something has to invite you or you have to
know somebody.
Speaker 3 (25:21):
It just comes down a character when you commit, see
your it comes down a character when you commit. Do
you need to follow through a kind of character integrity?
Do you have what commitment?
Speaker 1 (25:30):
What is the other commitment? Again, it's just dinner at
her house.
Speaker 8 (25:32):
It is just it is a dinner and it was
last minute.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
You can't honesty.
Speaker 4 (25:37):
Honesty just go to that friend and be like, hey,
I'm so sorry, but my other friend just invited me
the Magic Castle and I really want to go.
Speaker 1 (25:44):
I've never been. I love magic.
Speaker 7 (25:46):
No, but.
Speaker 2 (25:48):
I just started like.
Speaker 5 (25:50):
Kayla never like when is michaela ever talks about magic?
Speaker 1 (25:54):
But it's her out and about she might meet a
guy there. It was like a Jonas Brothers concert. I
would understand. But the Magic Castle and the Imagic.
Speaker 3 (26:01):
Castle is incredible, and your friend is going to say
go because they don't want to make you feel bad,
but they're going to be alone, lonely and sad that
you want.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
To and star for a long time. But look, let's
just get to the heart of this.
Speaker 3 (26:15):
It is about when you make a commitment, do you
stick to it, even if it means turning down something better.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
That's the question I definitely have in the past.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
Me too.
Speaker 3 (26:26):
I mean, Tanya, but that's what you're doing. You just
need to be honest with what you're doing, so.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
You can't bad friend. No, you can't lie your bad friend.
If you lie about it, yeah, I won't lie.
Speaker 4 (26:36):
I think if you just tell her the truth and
apologize and be like I owe you one, or let
me take you to lunch, you know, next week.
Speaker 3 (26:42):
Or do you mind if I go? And if you do,
I'll stay with you. I'm not going to not say
don't go. And then you've got them on the record
saying to go, so you kind.
Speaker 2 (26:52):
Of win win. It's a little manipulative, but it's win win. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
I like it though.
Speaker 3 (26:57):
All right, there you have it, and to you a
friend who will be blown off, We're sorry, but we'll
hang with you. What are My name is Ryan Saisney tiny?
Everybody is here? So tany is a trending report somehow
you think it's the reason I'm afraid of marriage?
Speaker 2 (27:13):
What it all clicked.
Speaker 1 (27:14):
To me after?
Speaker 5 (27:15):
I was like reading into this and I'll explain why.
So Katie Perry released a new song called band Aids.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
Last week and I did a voice over.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
He actually features your voice.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
We have it not stop music is not always hold on.
Speaker 1 (27:35):
There's your cameo, but what what are we holding on to?
Speaker 2 (27:38):
That's it?
Speaker 1 (27:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (27:40):
I did like an hour and a half of stuff here.
Speaker 4 (27:45):
Too, talking about ten seconds, ten minutes. You did about
five different takes and that's the one they chose.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
But I don't know what we're holding on to, hold
on like hang on, like hang on, don't leave?
Speaker 2 (28:02):
Okay, why is this my marriage issue?
Speaker 1 (28:04):
Okay?
Speaker 5 (28:04):
So the song gives a lot of details as to
what happened in her relationship with Orlando Bloom. So they
split back in June after nearly a decade together. So
these are some of the lyrics. Hand to God, I
promise I tried. There's no stone left unturned. It's not
what you did, it's what you didn't go. You were there,
but you weren't. Got so used to you letting me down,
(28:30):
No use trying to send flowers now telling myself you'll change,
you don't.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
Why are you?
Speaker 1 (28:36):
I literally had to turn down my volume.
Speaker 5 (28:40):
Band aids over a broken heart. So I was reading
these lyrics shouting on it felt I was like there
was a light bulb moment. I was like, this is
what Ryan has been talking about. It's the complacency that
comes with being in a long term relationship and being complacent.
And maybe you know because you're saying it's all the
(29:01):
things he didn't do and all that stuff that kind
of compounds over time. And I was like, oh my gosh,
like this is why Ryan's afraid of.
Speaker 9 (29:10):
Marriage, is it? I'm right right, it is not not. Yes,
I know it's one of the reasons. Yes, And I
get fearful of a song written about me if it
didn't work out.
Speaker 3 (29:23):
That's frightening. Yeah, I think I've made that point before, Sisney.
It is something that does flow. I think the problem
is at some point you got to just stop thinking exactly,
just got to go for it. And we may be
on the doorstep of that YouTube. We may be what
do you mean by that, Ryan, just what I said,
We may be on the doorstep of not overthinking that.
Speaker 4 (29:44):
Okay, Oh, there's like someone that you are willing to
let those guards down for.
Speaker 2 (29:50):
No the concept I'm open to.
Speaker 1 (29:52):
Oh okay, well, baby steps.
Speaker 5 (29:55):
But I do want to say all of this is
like alleged. It's not like Katie's been saying this songs
about Orlando. We're just like reading through the lyrics.
Speaker 3 (30:03):
If you want to check out the video and that
six second cameo, go see Katie Perry's video.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
Right, thank you, Tanya, And you do know me like
very well, thank you very well.
Speaker 3 (30:14):
Yes, Now we need to come in here for a
family meeting. I don't know if this is happening to
anybody else? Tubs chime time, chime, chime in on this
is there a universal phone issue right now? If you
touch the glass, it won't scroll, it won't open up anything.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
It'll turn on.
Speaker 3 (30:29):
I'll see all my icons, but then if I go
into like a text, it goes black. And then if
the texts come up ten seconds later, I can't slide.
The glass doesn't respond. Anyone having any of.
Speaker 2 (30:39):
Those issues, I can agree.
Speaker 1 (30:40):
I have had that sliding issue where it.
Speaker 2 (30:43):
Frees it try to. Yes, yes, I mean a lot.
Speaker 4 (30:46):
It kind of what That kind of went away for me.
But now it's like I'm having email issues. What are
the issues with the emails saying like it's not connecting
to the server. So I'm not getting like I think
I don't have any emails on my phone, and then
I go on my desktop and I have forty emails
that didn't go to my phone. And so that's the
issue right now.
Speaker 3 (31:01):
So I thought it was my old phone, which I've
had forever. The case was all chewed up and everything.
So I went and got another phone. Yeah, thinking I'm
going to hit the new phone and it's gonna be fine.
Four hours four hours of transferring data and four hours?
Speaker 1 (31:17):
So which how much DI did you have?
Speaker 2 (31:18):
This got pictures from nineteen eighty two with them?
Speaker 1 (31:21):
Yeah, I guess.
Speaker 2 (31:21):
So.
Speaker 3 (31:23):
The thing is what I realized when I had to
try and transfer and it didn't get better.
Speaker 2 (31:27):
The new phone was no better for me is the
same problems, which is frustrating. But what I.
Speaker 3 (31:30):
Realized I didn't know my password because you got to
put in your real, actual password with your finger yes
to access opening the phone to do all this stuff
to transfer, and I was stumped.
Speaker 2 (31:42):
I went once shut down. Yeah, I went twice shut down.
Speaker 3 (31:47):
I was so nervous about try number three because if
I did that, it put me out for a day.
Speaker 2 (31:52):
So I practice.
Speaker 3 (31:53):
You know, you retrace your you don't do it, you
don't touch me, you sort go through the numbers I
got in. But I have the same issues. Is it software?
Is it the divide? I don't know what it is.
Is anybody else experiencing this.
Speaker 1 (32:06):
I always have glitch issues with my.
Speaker 2 (32:08):
No, but this is different.
Speaker 3 (32:10):
This is like you can't move things around or open
them up tubs.
Speaker 2 (32:13):
What do you know? I think it's a software. So
you're saying that this is happening with other people, probably
not me because my phone is from twenty and eighteen.
Well that okay, let's talk about that.
Speaker 3 (32:26):
But at some point these updates are going to turn
us off, and there they are.
Speaker 2 (32:31):
I don't want more updates. I just want to stick
what I got.
Speaker 1 (32:34):
The updates fix the glitches.
Speaker 3 (32:36):
No, the updates have cause glitches for me in this situation.
I know what you mean, Mikayla. What are the people
saying on the phones?
Speaker 8 (32:43):
I mean my roommates have an issues with her new phones,
same thing. Yeah, she's been complaining.
Speaker 7 (32:48):
If you're going through this, hit us up here on
air with Ryan Seacrest, Love It Friday, Gus, should we
get to the weekend watch the list here?
Speaker 2 (33:00):
What are y'all streaming the weekend watch list? Just not show?
Is Disney? What do you watch in this weekend?
Speaker 1 (33:06):
So actually I already watched this and it is a
live watch. It's Mulin Rouge at the Pantages.
Speaker 4 (33:11):
Vaz Luhrman's film comes to life on stage and can
I just tell you I was so blown away by
this Broadway show.
Speaker 1 (33:18):
I had no idea what I was in store for,
except for.
Speaker 4 (33:21):
Like I I was just thinking of the Lady Marmalade song.
And now when I get there, it is like every
pop culture song mixed into this Broadway show. It was
so entertaining. I must see if you love live theater.
It's a pantagious through this weekend.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
Very cool, Tanya, what's on your weekend? Watch?
Speaker 5 (33:41):
Okay, so it's an embarrassment of riches at our home
right now. I want to give an honorable mention to
Task because we just finished that as well. But my
show this week is Pluribus. It's on Apple TV, and
it is so good. I want to make this show
my new personality.
Speaker 1 (33:57):
I'm obsessed with that. I want to like I started it.
Speaker 5 (34:00):
I want to listen to the accompanying podcast because it's
that good. But basically, what the way Apple describes it
is the most miserable person on Earth must save the
world from happiness.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
That's kind of the snaw the previews for this. It
looks good. It's not what it seems.
Speaker 5 (34:15):
But there's three episodes out now and then they drop
a new one every Friday.
Speaker 2 (34:19):
What is it you want to be after watching this
or do after watching this?
Speaker 5 (34:23):
It's such a philosophical like show about life and it
just has Robin and I talking about all these really
interesting things and I don't know.
Speaker 1 (34:33):
It's really really good. It's the girl from Better Call Saul.
Speaker 3 (34:36):
And also Vince Gilligan who created Breaking Bad. Yeah did
this one too, So got.
Speaker 1 (34:41):
One hundred percent on Rotten Tomatoes, Rupy.
Speaker 2 (34:43):
What's any we can want to this?
Speaker 6 (34:44):
So if you grew up listening to Juang Gabriel like
I did, like my Thias, my aunts, my mom, you
have to check out this documentary Juangabriel on Netflix. So
it's a lot of rare videos, exclusive interviews that basically
reveal the genie, the sacrifices, and the duality between Juan
Gabriel as a public character and then who he was
(35:07):
like behind the scenes. It's really really good. It was
very emotional. But four episodes are out streaming now on tanks.
Speaker 3 (35:14):
Thank you, and on my weekend watches. I'm wearing the
T shirt today, Yeah, I like that T shirt. Reel
of Fortune Celebrity Wheel of Fortune is on tonight. I'm
having the best time doing it every weeknight, and then
the celebrity one on Fridays tonight. Liza Kochy, actor Paul
walter Hauser, he was in Blackbird did you ever see
Blackbird that was also on Apple Do you remember that?
Speaker 2 (35:34):
Yes, Taron Edgerton.
Speaker 3 (35:36):
Uh huh, amazing actor, he is hysterical, super funny on
the show tonight and also comedian Phoebe Robinson. All for charity.
They're playing. It's very loose Sysney as you've seen. Oh yeah,
we have a good time. Celebrity Wheel of Fortune that's
on ABC tonight, Kenry Lamar, Kiss of m showers today
throughout the weekend too. So it's gonna be a little
(35:59):
cozy this weekend if you got somebody to cozy to
cozy up. If you don't, we just did the We
can watch this cozy up to something to stream now
with that weather this weekend, just looking at what's happening.
Speaker 2 (36:10):
USC is at the coliseum against Iowa.
Speaker 3 (36:13):
UCLA going to Columbus to take on number one, the
number one ranked Ohio States at four thirty chargers from
Jacksonville Sunday rams so five Sunday Now camp flog now
you know by this, ye, yes, you know about can't flog?
No worrying about camp flog now I've not heard of it.
Speaker 4 (36:32):
Oh, come on, I has asap Rocky Glorilla Tea pain.
Speaker 1 (36:35):
A lot of great artists.
Speaker 3 (36:36):
Yeah, Dodgers Stadium, Dochi te pain by Drunk. Drunk gets
you some drinks, Tippang and many Moite is sold out.
So if you're going to that, lookout for traffic and
if you're not going to look out for traffic in
the area. It's also the seventeenth the annual Taste of
East LA. That's tonight Kennedy Hall and Atlantic Boulevard and
LA Magazine's the Food event. I always love these food things.
(36:59):
The food event that's in Malibu Sysney. Any plans, no.
Speaker 1 (37:03):
Plans, and I like it like that.
Speaker 2 (37:06):
I am so envious. That's the best feeling. No plan
it's been.
Speaker 4 (37:11):
It's been about eight weeks since I think I have
had a weekend with no plans.
Speaker 1 (37:15):
So I'm so excited.
Speaker 2 (37:17):
Tanya, What are you doing this weekend.
Speaker 5 (37:19):
I'm gonna be on KTLA on Sunday morning promoting jingle Ball.
Speaker 1 (37:22):
I'll watch you.
Speaker 2 (37:22):
Oh amazing. What are you gonna say?
Speaker 5 (37:25):
I'm gonna say, everybody, make sure you get there, make
sure you get there early because the village is starting
at three o'clock.
Speaker 1 (37:31):
But I can't tell you who's going to open it.
But it's gonna be really good and you're gonna want
to go wednesa announcement. The announcement is tomorrow. Well it's Monday.
Speaker 5 (37:37):
But like when I went on K, it's good tomorrow, right,
that's right, don't try And what time?
Speaker 1 (37:41):
What time? Four pm?
Speaker 3 (37:43):
You were just going through your actual script on a
Friday for a Sunday to Monday.
Speaker 2 (37:52):
Report earlier. How do we get tickets?
Speaker 5 (37:54):
So if you want tickets, you could just go to.
Speaker 1 (37:58):
Where do you get to?
Speaker 2 (38:02):
You are not prepared to.
Speaker 1 (38:07):
What's it called?
Speaker 2 (38:08):
What is it called? Get some sleep before you do
this appearance? What's a called.
Speaker 1 (38:15):
What's the thing called at the bottom lower third lower
third of chiron for chiron?
Speaker 3 (38:22):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (38:23):
Well, just to shift gears. And this is a good thing.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
I will be heading to Atlanta this weekend for my
father's celebration of life.
Speaker 2 (38:31):
This is what he wanted.
Speaker 3 (38:33):
He actually said it in his last days to us
