Speaker 1 (00:00):
From Hollywood to You, Ryan.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Air on Air with a Ryan Seacrest.
Speaker 3 (00:10):
I must reading this article here, and Sissy's got some
everybody's talking about. They say, the first thing productive experts
do when they wake up is drink a glass of
cold water.
Speaker 4 (00:19):
It's interesting that it's cold. Yeah, me too, thought warm
room temp.
Speaker 5 (00:23):
I know, I know who to believe anymore.
Speaker 4 (00:27):
Well, what about this exercise pill we're reading about?
Speaker 5 (00:30):
Na this, I wouldn't touch this with the time foot pool.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
Last.
Speaker 6 (00:36):
Well, if you're tired of working out, there may be
a pill for that pretty soon.
Speaker 4 (00:40):
Okay, it doesn't know I know some other issues.
Speaker 5 (00:45):
That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (00:45):
Like, there's no in my opinion, there's no magic pill
to help you lose weight. But this these scientists who
have been perfecting this pill for over a decade at
this point, claim that this new exercise pill could potentially placed,
if not most, but all, benefits of working out.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
Okay, how because your body needs to move to thrive,
to function, to be mobile, I'm gonna listen to it.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
But does it need to move or does your body
need to does your heart need.
Speaker 4 (01:18):
To my unexpert not doctor opinion, my body needs.
Speaker 6 (01:21):
To move they've been trying to replicate the physical effects
of exercise, specifically the ability to enhance metabolism and growth
as well as improved muscle performance. So that's what this
pill would do if you were to take it. But
their big disclaimer is that this is this this shouldn't
replace exercise if you can still exercise.
Speaker 4 (01:42):
So it's the point of the pill.
Speaker 6 (01:43):
Well, because there's other people that are maybe they can
at all for whatever medical condition, they can't exercise at all,
are they or older people, It's harder for them to
move and get their body moving because they're just you know,
their muscles are weaker, et cetera.
Speaker 4 (01:59):
So far, it's been.
Speaker 5 (02:00):
Tested on mice, so don't get too.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
Excited and red fuck.
Speaker 5 (02:04):
I think everything gets tested on animals first.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
I know.
Speaker 6 (02:06):
But if it's only been there, it's only been there,
and then their next step is to test it with
different animals. It's going to be a long time before
it comes to humans.
Speaker 4 (02:15):
That's the thing.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
The thing for me is when one of these things
like well this I guess specifically happens if they pass
all the animal tests, right been they're released to humans.
We don't know what the human body does. Five years
after it took this. That's the thing that's the scary
part of it, Like what happens five years down the line.
Speaker 6 (02:32):
You don't know where the side effects long term and
short term.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
Oh yeah, I wouldn't try that to at least my
twenty fifth anniversary of Unanswers. So Tanya is well getting
ready for a big event. She and her fiance Robbie
are planning a wedding. It's exciting things, very exciting. We
haven't gotten too much into it yet, actually I don't.
Speaker 5 (02:56):
Yeah, have you picked a date?
Speaker 4 (02:57):
No?
Speaker 7 (02:57):
No, because now we're back at square one. Now we're
looking back into doing it in la in his parents'
backyard and which is originally where we started. It's so
funny because, like I would, I would listen to these
podcasters when they were planning their wedding and they would
go through all these things how they were just jumping
from like venue to venue to venue to venue, and
I was just like it sounded so wild to me.
(03:19):
Now I'm in it, and I'm like I totally get
it because now we're right well.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
They couldn't figure out where they wanted to do it.
Speaker 7 (03:24):
Yeah, there's so many options, so you're just constantly like
looking and somebody says, did you check this out? You
check this out? And so it's just it's I get it.
There's just so much.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
Michael and I did like a tour one weekend.
Speaker 6 (03:34):
We went from came Rio all the way down to
San Diego and did I got probably eleven venues to
like try to figure out where we would do it.
Speaker 7 (03:42):
Yeah, so now we're back at square one where we started,
and we're thinking about doing a wedding, but not a
sit down dinner where everybody like has an assigned seat,
basically kind of having it buffet style and having cocktail
tables because we could fit more people if we don't
have everybody's seated.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
But then I thought, maybe it's kind of weird to
not have like a homesade.
Speaker 4 (04:08):
Curious.
Speaker 7 (04:08):
No, no, no, everybody will be able to sit during the ceremony.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
There'll be seats for the ceremony, but this is for dinner.
Speaker 5 (04:14):
It's fine.
Speaker 6 (04:15):
Just provide a lot of seating like around, like not
like tables sitting for this like eat dinner, but like
couches and little like benches and things like that, just
all spread out throughout the backyard so that like older
people can sit down because you know, like your grandma's
and your aunts and all that.
Speaker 4 (04:31):
I'm getting up there too. I need to lean on something,
I know.
Speaker 7 (04:35):
I keep thinking, I'm like, I feel like it's weird
not to have a home base to you know, put
your purse or you know, like I was thinking, that
seems kind.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
Of high tables you'd lean on. I just need to
have a full.
Speaker 7 (04:44):
Career, we'd have high low couches, like all different types.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
For me, I advocate it because it breaks like the
standard typical template feeling and luck, and it adds a
little social flare to.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
It because we really want everybody just to dance.
Speaker 4 (05:02):
That's kind of fun. Yeah, yeah, I think it's a
great idea.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
Again, this is all about what you and Robbie want
for your memory.
Speaker 7 (05:10):
And if it fits more people, the great, No, but
just the thing we want. I want everybody to sit
down and have a home base. But then I want
a few more people. So then I'm kind of just
like torn.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
Who wants more people? You or Robbie.
Speaker 7 (05:24):
We're both kind of in the same honestly, we're both
eyed eye on basically everything.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
So everybody, you both of you, everybody, just the two
of you, each one of a few more people to
be here.
Speaker 5 (05:34):
Yeah, have you looked at all options of layouts?
Speaker 4 (05:37):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (05:39):
No, because you can.
Speaker 6 (05:41):
You know, we ended up fitting more people into our
area because we did long tables, right, Yeah, the Courson's
a sweetheart table as opposed.
Speaker 5 (05:49):
To round tables.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
Sorry, what is the sweetheart table?
Speaker 1 (05:51):
That's like the table that's for the groom, bride and groom.
Speaker 6 (05:54):
That doesn't take any space almost, But I'm just saying
it's a separate table.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
So now we're just to be lumped into like the
all the large ones.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
Again, it seems like a lot of stress planning your weddings.
Speaker 5 (06:07):
It's not easy, but it's fun.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
Lounge lounge, cash, high table, low table let. People just
sort of mix and mingle and enjoy and relax, take
it down.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
You know.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
They have the what do they call it. They call
it the when you have a burger. It's the deconstructed
burger or the deconstructed. Talk about deconstruct a wedding deconstructed?
Speaker 7 (06:24):
What's so crazy? And I think what's so like? I
didn't understand before. It's because you think of your wedding
your whole life, so you put all this pressure on
it and you want it to be perfect, but then
you realize it's not about having the perfect wedding, you know,
it's about finding the perfect person.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
And so I don't know, just like very debilitating having
that like vision, you.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
Know, m sounds exciting, but I do understand what you mean.
You've got the dream. And here's the thing. The people
who are going to be there love both of you,
and we will all have a good time. I say
reflective we because you've id more people. So I'm assuming
the whole staff's going now, all right, coming up? Can congratulations?
(07:06):
We can't wait for more information? All right, So over
to the mic there in the back room, call that
what is going on? Were you running late because collect
got something happened there for the first time?
Speaker 8 (07:18):
Oh my god, yeah this was this was the other day.
Speaker 5 (07:21):
So this was yeah, it wasn't today.
Speaker 8 (07:24):
No, And I'm and I don't know what to do
about it. That's the thing, is, like, I have no
context for this. I got a speeding ticket.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
First one.
Speaker 8 (07:32):
I've never been pulled over ever. Never I get pulled
over by this cop.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
Let's call it the cop. Anything.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
I won't, I won't, I won't.
Speaker 8 (07:43):
But he I was speeding and it really makes me
mad because I was going forty two and a twenty
five zone, but it was right as the zone switched
to twenty five. It was at forty five and then
switched to twenty five and it just.
Speaker 4 (07:55):
Drops that fast.
Speaker 5 (07:56):
Yeah, like Park, did he come out of nowhere?
Speaker 8 (07:59):
Yes, he was part worked a little sphenometer and like
he knows.
Speaker 9 (08:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (08:04):
And this was in San Marino, so there's like simmer No,
I don't know why. They've been like really cracking down
on speeding. So that's why it was like, right there,
that's a nice area.
Speaker 4 (08:13):
You never had a ticket, They're gonna get you your
first ticket.
Speaker 5 (08:15):
Yes, And it was I like, oh, okay, here's the
thing too.
Speaker 8 (08:18):
I I get pulled over, I pull up my license
and registration because in every movie the cop goes license
and registration. So I was like, I know what to do.
And then he's like proof of insurance. I was like huh.
Speaker 5 (08:29):
I was like what.
Speaker 4 (08:32):
The script?
Speaker 8 (08:33):
I'm still under my parents' insurance. So I was like
calling my mom. I'm like, mom works insurance and like
so on the ticket it says I don't have insurance,
so I have to Like I think I have to
go to the court and be like, I do have insurance,
because now I have it in my car, I've learned.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
We could also send this tape.
Speaker 8 (08:49):
Actually right, and please let them know I shouldn't. I
don't deserve the speeding ticket.
Speaker 4 (08:52):
What was but you do actually deserve?
Speaker 1 (08:55):
It was it's a crazy switch though.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
Yeah, yes, hold on, pre school zone.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
It wasn't no, there was no school it was.
Speaker 8 (09:03):
It was like it was like going from like stores
to like a neighborhood.
Speaker 10 (09:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
So the question though, that feeling you get when the
lights go on in your rear view of the police car.
I mean it is like a lightning shock down your body,
through your body, down your spine, right, did you feel it?
Speaker 8 (09:18):
I like, I started hyperventilating. I was like, oh god,
oh god, I'm gonna.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Like it's gonna go my permanent record.
Speaker 5 (09:23):
I was like freaking out.
Speaker 4 (09:24):
Oh what did you say? When the police officer.
Speaker 8 (09:27):
Came up, I was very I was like yes, yes, sir, yes, sir.
I was very polite because I was afraid, so I
was just like, yes, of course, I'm so sorry, Like
I yes, yes, And I was like, I don't have
the insurance, and he's like, well, you know, I could
give you a ticket for not having insurance, but I'm
more worried about your speeding. And I was like, oh gosh.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
So usually when we meet new people, we promote the show.
Did you promote the show with him or let him
know that we.
Speaker 8 (09:55):
Pay bills or would that have been if I was like,
by the way, I for, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (10:00):
I want to use anything to try to get out
of the take.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
Yeah, just say hey, tune in Kiss FM. I'll be
there telling this story a little bit.
Speaker 6 (10:07):
I thought there was a cop behind me today and
I was so panicked because I usually speed down this
one street because there's no one out everyone's but and
so then I see the car behind me and I
was like, what that little light and it looked like
a cop car. So I'm now I'm going like, you know,
thirty five, what am I supposed to be doing?
Speaker 5 (10:24):
And it's a person. It said lift with the hot
peas better of the lips.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
Guys has been throwing me off too.
Speaker 3 (10:30):
Yeah, I do give them a blue logo, like don't
that's not You couldn't give out a blue logo for
a dashboard.
Speaker 4 (10:36):
It looks like a copy. It was like.
Speaker 5 (10:37):
Blue and pink or something.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
But yeah, I was like, I just baked out my
list left and right, and I start thinking to myself,
I didn't think they were allowed to think of like
blue you put a blue light in your windship.
Speaker 5 (10:47):
It like totally threw me off. And then I was
all on edge driving on the freeway.
Speaker 6 (10:50):
I was just like, I never think about getting pulled over,
but then I just thought about it the whole way in.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
But just call it, you know, just you know, some
advice next time you get pulled over. It's stuff like
colo officers, do you think your wife may be cheating
on you?
Speaker 4 (11:03):
Things like that.
Speaker 3 (11:03):
We do roses were public service. Glad you made it
safely and see how that goes in court. It is
time for the morning hack on LA's number one at
music station. All right, this is going to extend your
life if you do this three times a day, and
it's gonna make total sense when you hear those researchers
(11:26):
study thousands of people in the UK. They set of
people in China, and they found signs of slower aging
among people who drank three cups of tea a day.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
Here are the teas.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Here are the tea's black, green, yellow, oolong. All these
teas a trend. I always poot teas because I thought
they were boring. However, now I see this and they
do sort of soothe you and make your stomach feel.
Speaker 4 (11:52):
Pretty good for digestion. Wellfe I love.
Speaker 3 (11:54):
Better bits acidic and I deal that acid after a
few cups. So it doesn't matter hot or cold. Just
tea yourself. Three t's a day to yourself. And look,
if you were on the brink of you know, if
you were not feeling great about your future days, try
this and let me know.
Speaker 4 (12:10):
And yeah, kick starts some extra time on this planet.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
Like if you're close to it and this happens and
you kick up three more years, let us know.
Speaker 5 (12:18):
Yeah, Like you're welcome. We just take years today.
Speaker 3 (12:21):
Life normalize. Letting people talk without rushing them to get.
Speaker 4 (12:27):
To the point. Wow, is this quote for you pushing them?
Don't push them to let go or try to fix
their pain. Just let them speak. Just FM headlines.
Speaker 11 (12:42):
Well, tam usays Noah Lyles one gold in the one
hundred meter final at the twenty twenty four Paris Olympics
by a margin of five thousands of a second.
Speaker 5 (12:52):
It was absolutely insane to.
Speaker 6 (12:54):
Watch Sonny Lee one bronze and uneven bars, becoming the
third most decorated a US Olympic gymnast of all time,
and someone Biles while she slipped off the balance beam
and failed to win the gold medal, causing her a
chance to make well even more history. The National Weather
Service has announced that Mountain Desert and Interior Valley communities
will experience highs of at least one hundred and ten
(13:17):
degrees today and tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (13:19):
Someone who went to the o C Fair is now
a millionaire.
Speaker 10 (13:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (13:23):
The lucky player won the prize after buying a multiplier craze,
scratch or ticket from the California Lottery Live booth at
the o C Fair on air with Ryan Seacrest.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
The limited edition of the Truro Oreo is out. If
anybody tastes that later, please write in reach Out, send
us a talk back. I'm curious to know what the
experience is with your senses.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
Do you know how much I love an oreo?
Speaker 4 (13:54):
I do know. I don't know how much you love,
but I do know that, like as a kid, they're
nostalgic for me. Yeah, the things you could do?
Speaker 5 (13:58):
Doesn't love an oreo?
Speaker 4 (14:00):
Don't come screw them off, screw them on, and the
golden ones.
Speaker 7 (14:03):
Oh, I'm like a purist.
Speaker 12 (14:06):
Mmm.
Speaker 3 (14:07):
Mikayla staring us down like there's a real issue here.
She's not excited about.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
The oreo, the chural oreole, or any of it.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
She's not having it because the worst pickup line ever
was delivered to her on Minus.
Speaker 5 (14:21):
I can't wait for this drum roll please?
Speaker 4 (14:23):
Well, I mean we're going to the back room right now.
Speaker 3 (14:26):
There's a lot of drama in that back room on
a daily basis, so produced, MICHAELA are on the dating
apps and you got a real doozy.
Speaker 13 (14:34):
Huh yeah, I need your opinion. He said, if you're
regularly taking birth control, you should match with me.
Speaker 4 (14:42):
I don't understand.
Speaker 13 (14:43):
And it's like so gross, So like does it mean
he doesn't want a relationship, just a hook up?
Speaker 3 (14:48):
Like what?
Speaker 4 (14:50):
Oh, that's you. I don't understand why anybody would say that.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
He's just looking for one thing and one thing only.
Speaker 4 (14:58):
I feel like it's in that's I don't know. I
don't like it.
Speaker 10 (15:01):
I don't like it at all.
Speaker 4 (15:02):
What did you do?
Speaker 10 (15:03):
I had X so fast?
Speaker 1 (15:04):
Ryan?
Speaker 6 (15:05):
Do you think people responded to him after saying that
I'm curious.
Speaker 10 (15:09):
I have no idea. I don't know who would unless.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
Well, some people might just want to go on there
for some fun.
Speaker 4 (15:15):
Can you say it again so I understand it.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
I'm trying to follow along, Honestly, I don't really know
if I can give an opinion.
Speaker 13 (15:23):
Right, if you're regularly literally taking birth control, you should
match with me?
Speaker 4 (15:28):
Okay, because he wants to have a flame.
Speaker 10 (15:29):
Yeah, that's what I got.
Speaker 4 (15:30):
He's trying to say.
Speaker 10 (15:31):
Yeah, I think, but I just think there's other ways
to say that.
Speaker 4 (15:34):
Oh my gosh, you know, rude, right and creepy.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
And also like it's twenty twenty four, dude, like take
your own birth control?
Speaker 9 (15:44):
Why right?
Speaker 4 (15:46):
Well, she's sending a version of it by exing him out.
Speaker 5 (15:49):
Yeah, like.
Speaker 3 (15:52):
And tny, you just said a few minutes ago, I
should have been on these things?
Speaker 4 (15:55):
What's wrong with you? Beyond these things? Deal with that.
Speaker 5 (15:58):
You could be one of the good guys.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
Yes, there are.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
Good ones on there, and it does work.
Speaker 4 (16:03):
I didn't want to be on the same thing that
that guy's on.
Speaker 5 (16:06):
Such as life your category?
Speaker 4 (16:09):
What are you looking for? I need to understand this
back room producing Mikayla, what kind.
Speaker 13 (16:14):
Of dude are you looking for just a nice guy
that you know kind of has the same interest as me?
It's funny, sweet doesn't have a pickup line like this?
Speaker 5 (16:23):
Right?
Speaker 10 (16:24):
You know?
Speaker 4 (16:25):
Here we we found a list of some of the
best dating app pickup lines. Tell me what you guys?
Five on these? Okay?
Speaker 3 (16:31):
What should we tell our kids when they ask us
how we met?
Speaker 4 (16:36):
I don't like it?
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (16:37):
Sorry, that's a little too for me. It's ready to
back up?
Speaker 4 (16:42):
I agree, Mikayla.
Speaker 5 (16:43):
I agree?
Speaker 3 (16:44):
Ought another one? What's your go to appetizer? And when

Speaker 4 (17:11):
Like me too? Plus, what if the advertise is like

Speaker 1 (17:15):
Like an art choke?
Speaker 4 (17:17):
Oh I love an artichoke. Most people are not going
to say that, ye too?
Speaker 5 (17:21):
But sure?
Speaker 4 (17:21):
No?
Speaker 3 (17:22):
Actually, even though I would love an I might x
them out a go to, but not the articho, like
if it's there, like okayay, here's michaela these like look
look for these?
Speaker 4 (17:36):

give any of these out of her? Do you ever
have to do a line?
Speaker 5 (17:40):

Speaker 10 (17:40):
Yeah, but this is yeah, so hinge.
Speaker 3 (17:43):
Who gave you the right to look that good in
a hat?
Speaker 5 (17:47):
No?
Speaker 4 (17:49):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (17:49):
Good pick up lines after the horrible one we heard
that Mikaela received. Should I ask you how your day's going?
Or should we skip right to the good stuff?
Speaker 7 (17:56):
Awful a lyric to a song Wait, should I ask
you how your days going?
Speaker 4 (18:02):
Or should we the good stuff?
Speaker 5 (18:03):
I don't even know what the what?
Speaker 4 (18:05):
What are the day is going?
Speaker 5 (18:06):
Great?
Speaker 4 (18:07):
I don't like it.
Speaker 3 (18:07):
We're not going to talk to that person, all right?
Next one good opening lines on a dating app. These
were ranked. So when do you plan on texting me?
Speaker 4 (18:15):
Quote? You up? I want to make sure I'm up?
Speaker 5 (18:18):
Like the sup you up?
Speaker 4 (18:20):
You up? I want to make sure I'm awake.
Speaker 5 (18:21):
Basically, when do you plan on texting me?
Speaker 4 (18:23):
You?
Speaker 11 (18:23):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (18:24):
When do you plan on texting?
Speaker 4 (18:26):
I want to make sure I'm awake.
Speaker 5 (18:27):
I want to make sure I'm awake. That's a good one.
Speaker 4 (18:29):
I need to get your opinion on that. But that's
what they say is a good one. Say is strong Mikaela.
Speaker 10 (18:33):
Another Yeah, that's cringey to me, right, I think.
Speaker 3 (18:36):
It's cringey too. The only one I actually like is
the appetizer one. So if anybody's interested in Mikayla used
that one?
Speaker 4 (18:41):
Okay? And if you're listening now and here, why should
we tell.
Speaker 1 (18:44):
Our kids one?
Speaker 5 (18:45):
No, it's so cute.
Speaker 3 (18:48):
You can take that one. Yeah, take that to the podcast.
I think as soon as we stop trying so hard,
it's gonna happen. So we are going to take a
call here at eight hundred and five two one to
two seven right now. Caller on the line says her
boyfriend is going to an all female bachelorette party and
(19:10):
she is not comfortable with it. So I need everybody
in on this. Why is he going to that an
all females? Am I eving deja vu?
Speaker 4 (19:19):
Right?
Speaker 5 (19:20):
I feel like we've had a call.
Speaker 4 (19:21):
I just called about that. I know what you mean.
Speaker 5 (19:23):
It's like in the back of my head too, I'm like,
when was that we.
Speaker 4 (19:26):
Had someone call with this? Mark was it the same issue.
I'm checking. It does sound familiar. Let me see. Yeah,
I'm having DejaVu myself. We did.
Speaker 5 (19:34):
We're common than we think.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
Someone called in with this exact same issue the other day,
maybe a couple weeks ago. Now, Amanda, good morning. It's
Ryan and Siciny and Tanya.
Speaker 4 (19:42):
How are you hi, I'm good.
Speaker 14 (19:45):
How are you, guys?
Speaker 4 (19:46):
We're super good. Like, what's up?
Speaker 3 (19:48):
So your boyfriend is going to an all female bacheorette party. Yeah,
this is the same thing. Go ahead, tell us what happened.
Speaker 14 (19:55):
Yeah, so we've been dating for two months. He's going
to this all female bachelorette party with like his middle
school friends. But there's one other guy who's going to
be there, and he's be like staying in that room
in a room with the guy. But like, I feel
weird about him being with all.
Speaker 3 (20:09):
Girls from dot Why did he get invited to the
bachelorup party in the first place.
Speaker 14 (20:13):
I don't know, because they've been friends since middle school.
But I don't like it, Like, I think it's weird.
It's all there's single girls on the trips, Like, it's weird.
Speaker 5 (20:20):
Well, you guys have been dating for two months.
Speaker 3 (20:23):
Yeah, i'd be nervous. I don't love it. So the
question though, is Sydney could she say anything? They've been
that's the thing two months? Is it going to be
too much to say you can't do it? Is that
gonna say?
Speaker 4 (20:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (20:36):
You don't want to be like you can't do this
because and then you're coming off as like a very
controlling sounding girlfriend. It's almost like you wish that he
would have just backed out on his own and not
gone in general.
Speaker 4 (20:47):
Have you done that?
Speaker 11 (20:48):
Old?
Speaker 4 (20:48):
Like, are you sure you want to go?
Speaker 14 (20:52):
I did that, but I'm trying to cool and chill,
you know I.
Speaker 5 (20:58):
And where are they going?
Speaker 14 (21:01):
They're going to Mexico.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
This is the thing is the worst about dating when
you first start out, and that is you kind of
can't speak your mind?
Speaker 4 (21:14):
Can you? You want to, but you don't have the trust.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
No. But it's kind of like Jimmy Chelsea Vibes from
Love is Blind.
Speaker 4 (21:19):
Oh everybody knows what you're talking about? Yes, exactly, Yeah,
no we don't.
Speaker 7 (21:24):
So he has like these like best best girlfriends, and
I feel like it's okay. If it makes you uncomfortable,
you can say it makes you uncomfortable. You can't tell
him what to do. But you can voice how you
feel and then he'll do with it what he wants.
Speaker 3 (21:38):
Here's the other thing, Amanda, let him go. If something happens,
he's not the one for You're only two months in.
Speaker 4 (21:43):
We move on. This might be a big test kind
of that's a good point.
Speaker 14 (21:47):
I didn't think about it like that.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
Got to think about it, got to think about it
could be the test. So maybe you play it cool.
See how he plays it. You'll get a sense. You'll know.
You'll have an idea of what went down. And I
think it's it's kind of a test. Let's look at
it that way.
Speaker 14 (22:03):
It is a test, it is a past.
Speaker 3 (22:05):
I'm nervous, all right, Well, keep us close to We
were here literally every single day, so let us know
what happens.
Speaker 5 (22:11):
I kind of did this to Michael.
Speaker 4 (22:13):
Go ahead.
Speaker 6 (22:14):
We were dating for two months, give or take, and
then I went on a carnival cruise with a bunch
of my college friends. It was mixed guys and girls,
but the majority of everybody was basically single.
Speaker 4 (22:25):
Did you think about it as a test?
Speaker 15 (22:27):
Right?
Speaker 6 (22:27):
I didn't think a test, and there was no issue
in our relationship as far as me going, you know,
this was already planned before I even met him, So
it was just one of those things I went. But
what made me realize he was one of Michaels was
somebody that I was probably going to marry was I.
Speaker 5 (22:39):
Came back the boat.
Speaker 6 (22:41):
The ship docked in San Diego, and I was so
hungover from that trip that we were supposed to I
was supposed to see himcause he used to live in
San Diego, and I was like, Oh, we'll spend the
whole day Sunday and then I'll just drive to work
early Monday morning. I was so hungover that I just
laid in his bed and like basically it was just
and he nursed me back to health. He made me
a homemade made soup and just took care of me.
(23:03):
And here I was like a sloppy, wet blanket, like
showing up on his doorstep.
Speaker 4 (23:07):
And I was like, wow, was a test for him?
Speaker 5 (23:10):
There was no test, Like, it doesn't happen nature.
Speaker 4 (23:12):
You don't have to call it that. I understanding.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
That one or two point seven kiss at Van, It's
time for Ryan's roses. Let me get Letty on the
phone here, So Letty, I'm going to jump right into it.
For you in Torrance? You found a business card of
a woman who cuts hair in your husband's jeans. What
happened after you found the card?
Speaker 14 (23:36):
Well, so I.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Showed it to him and he was like, yeah, she
just told me to call her directly and like she'd
tell him if she was available. But that just felt
like crap because he was like, oh, you can't book
online because she's the only one who does it right,
and like he just seemed to be making up all
these things as he.
Speaker 4 (23:54):
Went, Okay, how long you been married.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
We've been married for sis.
Speaker 3 (24:01):
So do you think he's like seeing this woman on
the side.
Speaker 4 (24:05):
Is that you think he's cheating on you with her?
Speaker 5 (24:08):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (24:08):
Because I ended after that conversation, and how strange that was.
I checked his phone and he's been calling her pretty regularly,
like every few days. But I already he's such a
sweet talker. I know he's going to be like, well,
she's busy, I call a lot because she says she's
not available. But I also decided to go in there
(24:31):
with my son, and so I booked an appointment online,
which is what you're supposed to do, Like it's twenty
twenty four. You can pick a stylist online, but I
made the reservation from his phone, so it looked like
he was coming in. And then when we arrived, if
you seem stunned to see me and our son, and
(24:53):
it was just so awkward.
Speaker 4 (24:55):
Okay, what is her name? Is he?
Speaker 9 (24:59):
Is?
Speaker 2 (24:59):
He?
Speaker 15 (25:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (25:01):
Say Letty, I need you to say Ryan, you have
my permission to call, and then your husband's name.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
Go ahead, Ryan, you have my permission to call.
Speaker 3 (25:11):
Okay, we will do that right now. Let's see what
we can find out. Be very quiet until we tell
them he's on the air. Okay, Letty, Okay, all right,
here we go.
Speaker 5 (25:30):
Hello, Hi, can I speak to Daniel?
Speaker 4 (25:32):
Please listen to who's this?
Speaker 2 (25:36):
Hi?
Speaker 1 (25:36):
My name is Zoe.
Speaker 5 (25:37):
I'm calling from Flowers of Torrents. How are you doing
this morning?
Speaker 9 (25:42):
I'm okay great.
Speaker 6 (25:43):
You know we're near to the area on Supulva, near
the Walgreens and offering a promotion to local residents. And
since you are in the area, it's a free dozen
red roses that you can send to anybody that you'd like,
either residential or to their business or whatever is more
convenient for you. They're absolutely free. Just trying to promote
our business. Is this something you'd be interested in.
Speaker 9 (26:05):
How'd you get my number?
Speaker 6 (26:07):
We have a database here that you may have purchased
something online within the last eighteen months and selected to
receive promotional offers from local vendors.
Speaker 9 (26:16):
Okay, hasn't everyone in the world purchased something online within
the last eighteen months.
Speaker 6 (26:22):
That's how we get our database. Like I said, the
flowers are free. They're red roses. Just trying to promote
our business and hopefully if you do like us and
like the arrangement, then you come back as a customer
one day.
Speaker 5 (26:36):
But these are absolutely free.
Speaker 6 (26:37):
I don't need cash, I don't need credit card, I
don't need anything that from you.
Speaker 9 (26:41):
Okay, I walk me through how this would work. I
guess I wasn't paying attention.
Speaker 6 (26:45):
It's super simple, be done in five minutes. So just
need the name of the person you want to send
them to.
Speaker 9 (26:51):
Oh sure, yeah, okay, yeah, I will send them to
Isabelle with a pass.
Speaker 6 (26:57):
Okay, Isabelle with any And what would you like to
put on the card?
Speaker 9 (27:05):
Just put uh, like from your favorite client, but don't
put my name. She'll know like from your favorite client,
she'll know me.
Speaker 3 (27:13):
Daniel, your voice is being broadcast on the radio. We
have your wife Letty on the phone. Daniel, what is Isabelle?
What is Isabelle's nickname?
Speaker 4 (27:25):
Is he?
Speaker 2 (27:28):
I knew it?
Speaker 9 (27:29):
I knew it, you knew what? Hold on? Wait, what
are you thinking?
Speaker 3 (27:36):
Even what are we talking about? Are you married to
this woman on the phone named Letty for six years?
Speaker 4 (27:41):
Yes?
Speaker 9 (27:41):
Of course?
Speaker 4 (27:42):
And then why did you just send roses to Isabelle?
Is he?
Speaker 2 (27:48):
Ye?
Speaker 9 (27:50):
They were free roses?
Speaker 5 (27:52):
Why are you her favorite? Where are you her favorite client?
Speaker 9 (27:57):
She's the only person in La who can do my
hair like I have weird Daniel, with.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
All you respect, Daniel, it's not our first day on
the job here, so you just didn't also want to
put your name on it.
Speaker 4 (28:09):
So you're hiding something. So Daniel, just tell your wife
Lettie what's going on.
Speaker 3 (28:12):
She found the business card with the heart on it
and the easy name on the back of the card,
and now you're sending roses to her. Clearly there's something
more going on or you want something to happen.
Speaker 4 (28:21):
What is it?
Speaker 9 (28:23):
No, babe, listen, there's not anything going on. Like you know,
I'm a flirt, Like that's just you know I'm a flirt?
Speaker 2 (28:30):
Oh no, yes, I know you're a flirt and I
hate it. And I know when I found that business card,
I can't. I am so furious.
Speaker 4 (28:41):
Daniel.
Speaker 9 (28:41):
You know you said you hate it, but I got
us a great deal on that dryway. Remember that you
were mad that day?
Speaker 4 (28:49):
What happened?
Speaker 2 (28:49):
No, he flirts with everyone, and god it's a discount,
he thinks. But everyone are just they're just humoring you.
It's sad, it's disrespect ful to me.
Speaker 3 (29:01):
Clearly she doesn't like it, Daniel, And I don't know.
Sending roses seems a little more than just flirting. And
even so, listen to your wife feels about it.
Speaker 5 (29:11):
It's so intimate to send roses.
Speaker 4 (29:14):
What's going on with you? And is isy? What you
what's happening?
Speaker 9 (29:17):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (29:17):
Does come clean?
Speaker 16 (29:17):
Now?
Speaker 4 (29:18):
Your wife thinks you're cheating on her. It sounds like
you are.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
We're on Levi's life that you're not having an affair.
Speaker 1 (29:27):
Oh no, babe, you know.
Speaker 5 (29:31):
It is not for anything.
Speaker 9 (29:34):
I wouldn't do it for anything. I would not do
that for anything.
Speaker 5 (29:37):
It's an easy answer. You could easily answer that. If
you're not guilty, I am there guilty.
Speaker 2 (29:43):
I can't talk about it.
Speaker 9 (29:44):
Are you are overreacting. Can we talk about this later.
Speaker 4 (29:48):
We just talked about No.
Speaker 2 (29:50):
I can't do this anymore. I thought, I thought I could.
I can't, Daniel, I cannot.
Speaker 9 (29:58):
Come on, listen you, this is howless.
Speaker 5 (30:02):
It's too painful for her.
Speaker 3 (30:03):
Letty, clearly, this is not something that you have been
comfortable with for a long time.
Speaker 4 (30:09):
So we're gonna let you, guys go.
Speaker 3 (30:11):
You got as much as information, I think, as we're
gonna get from Daniel, and we wish you the best,
good luck.
Speaker 4 (30:16):
Okay, okay, thank you. Let's talk about that concept for
a second.
Speaker 3 (30:20):
So it was Ryan's roses, and she said LETTI said,
I found a business card of a woman who cuts
hair in my husband's pocket. Her number was on the
back with a heart on it. Well, her name was
Isabelle or Isabella, and her nickname was Izzy. And sure enough,
Daniel sends Izzy the roses and says, from your favorite client.
But he also says, don't say my name. So he's
(30:43):
hiding something, wanting to hide something. And then his justification
for doing it to his wife.
Speaker 4 (30:53):
Was, you know him a flirt. That's what I do,
a flirt.
Speaker 3 (30:58):
Clearly she's not happy about that, and hasn't been for
a long time. But this didn't sound like flirting. This
sound like something was going on.
Speaker 4 (31:06):
Yeah, so how do we feel about that?
Speaker 3 (31:10):
Like, have you ever been in a relationship with someone
who's flirty? Like, what's the difference between flirty and just
being you.
Speaker 1 (31:17):
Know, charming and charismatic?
Speaker 5 (31:19):
Right, a fine line, but you feel it.
Speaker 6 (31:22):
If you feel it in your heart and in your
gut and it bothers you, then that's too much.
Speaker 3 (31:27):
Although I think like your own insecurity could then be
confused with someone's charm or flirt. Like if you have
an insecurity inside, right, and someone's with someone else talking
and they're just being charming, you might think that's flirting,
but it's really not.
Speaker 4 (31:44):
So it's a slippery slow.
Speaker 5 (31:46):
It's totally a fine line, It really really is.
Speaker 6 (31:48):
But for him to just admit it like that almost
like making an excuse like, oh, well, I'm allowed.
Speaker 5 (31:53):
To act however I want to act because I'm a flirt.
Speaker 4 (31:55):
He was saying, did you say that they got to
deal in a driveway?
Speaker 5 (31:58):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (31:58):
Because I mean.
Speaker 3 (31:59):
I want to dive into that. So they got a
deal on their driveway because he flirted. And then he said,
but you appreciated that, Honey, you appreciated that, bab that
I got this deal on the driveways. Clearly she doesn't,
she's had a problem with it for a long time.
But I don't think he's flirting. I think the guy's
doing something with Izzy, or he wants to do something
with Izzy. So Nadine and Westminster, Nadine, good morning, How
(32:23):
are you?
Speaker 14 (32:23):
Good morning? I'm doing good.
Speaker 3 (32:25):
Are you I'm doing great? Thank you for asking. So
we're in the middle of this Ryan's roses. I don't
think he's flirting. I think the guy's trying to have
or something happen, or something is happening.
Speaker 5 (32:36):
I think it is happening.
Speaker 4 (32:38):
Oh yeah, go ahead, you heard it.
Speaker 9 (32:40):
I agree he's probably cheating.
Speaker 12 (32:41):
But like, this is just such a cautionary tale because
like I just think you should never date a flirt
and definitely don't marry one, right because you know, they
always have plausible deniability, Like you can't trouble them because
like whatever behavior happens that you can front them with,
they can just be like, oh, I'm just flirting, you
(33:02):
know me, I'm always a flirt.
Speaker 9 (33:03):
It was just flirting.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
Blah blah blah blah.
Speaker 3 (33:05):
You know, I've had friends in my life in relationships
where they've said to me, oh, no, she's just like
a flirt.
Speaker 4 (33:10):
I'm like, wait, how is it? How is that possible?
Speaker 2 (33:14):
Right, it's just an excuse for bad behavior.
Speaker 3 (33:18):
Or we're just insecure, not in this case, but like,
I don't know, I'd be too insecure to be with
somebody's always flirting.
Speaker 5 (33:24):
Yeah, it's it's just it's draining.
Speaker 12 (33:26):
Yeah, totally, Like, like I follow it for the past.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
I get it.
Speaker 17 (33:30):
We all do.
Speaker 14 (33:30):
Like flirts are very charming, but it's just like it's
just like a recipe for disaster.
Speaker 5 (33:35):
Yep, that's why we're not with them.
Speaker 4 (33:37):
Well, Nadin, thank you for listening.
Speaker 14 (33:40):
Yeah, no problem, I'm happy to all.
Speaker 4 (33:42):
I appreciate that. Bye.
Speaker 3 (33:45):
I'm just googling that's the difference between by bye, between
flirting and charming.
Speaker 1 (33:50):
Oh, I'd be interested to see what.
Speaker 3 (33:52):
It says if I could type it in fast enough.
What's the difference between gelato and ice cream? I guess
that was a search of mine a lot of what's
the difference between peanut butter and almond butter? My searches
are great. What's the difference?
Speaker 6 (34:07):
Uh, So, there's flirting and being nice, flirting and complimenting.
Speaker 4 (34:13):
Okay, you guys do it?
Speaker 2 (34:14):
What is it?
Speaker 6 (34:14):
What you find flirting is jeered towards sexual insinuations and charming, well,
charming or being our compliments are most sincere without any
hidden charges or intentions.
Speaker 3 (34:28):
So yeah, if it's clear. But also in the I
have the sort of viewer.
Speaker 1 (34:32):
Yeah for sure.
Speaker 6 (34:33):
Right, I think you can tell when someone's flirting with you.
If there is some sort of sexual tension, then that
is flirting.
Speaker 4 (34:41):
Yeah, well this guy's he's got some tension. I felt it.
M Daniel Alright, well, I was like physically drained after
these Ryans roses. I consider you charming, thank you?
Speaker 3 (34:59):
Yeah, versus the the other one versus the other scenery.
Speaker 4 (35:02):
I appreciate that. Yeah, great, thank you. That's that's my intent.
It's arm.
Speaker 3 (35:08):
So one of these viral tiktoks now is asking a
pretty simple question, and that is what isn'ty?
Speaker 6 (35:14):
Yeah, this girl Sam went viral on TikTok for asking
this simple question.
Speaker 4 (35:18):
Okay, I'm doing a little science project.
Speaker 6 (35:21):
What is one song that makes you so grateful to
be alive?
Speaker 16 (35:26):
Like you listen to it and immediately you feel better
about your life?
Speaker 4 (35:31):
Nothing feels hard, just draw this on.
Speaker 5 (35:35):
Oh so what is it?
Speaker 2 (35:38):
I mean?
Speaker 4 (35:39):
You know, Steven Sanchez and m by Hold always bring
me up.
Speaker 5 (35:43):
That's not one of my go tos, not mine either.
Speaker 6 (35:46):
Well here's some examples of what people commented, and I
was actually not surprised by this one.
Speaker 4 (35:51):
Oh yeah, Alvin Harris, No, yeah, that's true. Anything that
gets my right hand up pointing at his ceiling, Yes,
that does it.
Speaker 5 (36:00):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (36:00):
So these are the ones that ranked high on TikTok exactly.
Speaker 6 (36:03):
The one is that like the most commons are those
people that like actually responded with their answer.
Speaker 4 (36:06):
Is it okay? Grateful to make you grateful? To be live?
Speaker 2 (36:08):
God?
Speaker 4 (36:08):
What's another?
Speaker 5 (36:09):
All right? September by Earth Wind and Fire.
Speaker 4 (36:13):
Anytime?
Speaker 1 (36:14):
I Oh, good one?
Speaker 4 (36:19):
That one is great?
Speaker 3 (36:20):
Yeah, yes, okay, I love it.
Speaker 5 (36:23):
And this one has been really making a comeback. May
task your mine?
Speaker 4 (36:26):
What is going on, Natasha?
Speaker 16 (36:27):
Seriously, you don't reach out for a while, and now
all of a sudden, I feel it's like everywhere I
go and I have been running to this song.
Speaker 5 (36:35):
Yeah it makes you happy?
Speaker 4 (36:37):
Right, yes, it does make me happ.
Speaker 3 (36:39):
This actually is it? This is something that kind of
song right there which I loved when it came out.
I wouldn't have remembered it necessarily unless it had been
brought back up again in that movie exactly.
Speaker 4 (36:49):
And now, of course we're playing it.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
So when I'm listening to other shows on Kiss FM
and I'm getting my intense cardio on, right, I love
to sing that song and I do a little bit
of like a a am I jaw and I sing
undritten like that.
Speaker 4 (37:02):
Yeah, guy, sing.
Speaker 5 (37:03):
It like an influencer.
Speaker 3 (37:05):
It's I don't know if it's influencer or Valley or
Valley influencer. Okay, cool, it's a little bit like I
sing like that. Yeah, sometimes anyone but you. That was
the movie with U, Sidney Sweeney and Glen Powell.
Speaker 4 (37:15):
Okay, So what would your song be that makes you
grateful to be alive? Sisiny?
Speaker 6 (37:19):
You know I have to go Calvin Harris, but Rihanna
and Calvin we found love.
Speaker 1 (37:25):
It's good.
Speaker 3 (37:26):
Actually, this one does it for me. Every time I
hear this song, it takes me back and it never burns.
Speaker 6 (37:31):
Its special to me and Michael like it's just kind
of like our theme song.
Speaker 4 (37:35):
I love it. Okay, what's yours? Tinny? What song makes
you grateful to be alive.
Speaker 1 (37:40):
Mine is Mariah Carey all I want for Christmas.
Speaker 4 (37:45):
I don't know. That's almost cheating to pick a Christmas song.
Speaker 1 (37:47):
Yeah, cheating, you know.
Speaker 5 (37:48):
I listened to it for a few months out of
the year.
Speaker 3 (37:50):
It's so good, but it takes me out. Don't play
it now. It's taking me out. That smells sausage balls
and fondue.
Speaker 1 (37:57):
Right now, it's like immediate bliss way.
Speaker 5 (38:00):
It's like, Okay, I could be ready for Christmas next month.
Speaker 4 (38:03):
Want to roll with it?
Speaker 3 (38:04):
So I'm thinking about two for me. One is this
one floor Rider?
Speaker 2 (38:09):
Okay, you love the Florider.
Speaker 3 (38:11):
I just want to actually, if you don't mind me
taking a moment to extend my affection for Flow, right,
don't hear it.
Speaker 4 (38:17):
I don't know when the love affair began, but it's real.
It's true.
Speaker 3 (38:22):
It's a long time now, several decades. And Flow, you
know that you've touched my heart because my mother's favorite artist.
When she starts to rank them, like you're in the
top three Floor Rider, you were, and Cottie Seacrest top three,
but this song?
Speaker 4 (38:36):
How is that not feel rightful? To be honest, I does.
Speaker 3 (38:39):
You know the other one that I really love. I
don't see it here ready to go? But is uh
go shorty?
Speaker 13 (38:49):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (38:49):
And the other one is California, California love Snoop California.
Speaker 5 (38:58):
A good one too.
Speaker 4 (39:00):
That's where your choice is from you on what's wrong
in the back room? What is going on? I just
love that you you know, gave a shout out to
Rose cran Yeah, where you at?
Speaker 13 (39:11):
You at?
Speaker 3 (39:12):
Oh my gosh, songs that you're grateful to be alive
when you're listening to them. Eastern You're in here like
you have an announcement. Is there a song that you
want to tell us about?
Speaker 12 (39:21):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (39:21):
My song is a little booth thing. Yeah, this is
it for me. This is so new. But it does
do it. It does do it.
Speaker 1 (39:34):
It totally does it. I feel like I've loved it
my whole life though.
Speaker 4 (39:37):
I mean, guys, please, how can you not want this?
Speaker 12 (39:42):
Hey?
Speaker 3 (39:43):
Not feel good hearing that, especially here in southern California.
Speaker 5 (39:47):
So I'm going to give you a little like Intel.
Speaker 6 (39:49):
It's into the music world, like a little behind the curtain.
Speaker 4 (39:53):
Not really, I love this song. It's about this song.
Speaker 16 (39:58):
Okay, it's gonna ruin it. Come on, man, Okay, get it.
Speaker 4 (40:08):
To me, what do you got behind the music?
Speaker 6 (40:10):
So yo yo, Sometimes when the DJs and like the
jocks are doing their shows and they need us a
song to fill the hour, let's say this the hour
is under For a while, everybody was just picking that
song so much that it started like charting again and like.
Speaker 4 (40:27):
Like showing that it's Natasha Betting film.
Speaker 5 (40:30):
Like we were playing it like way more than we
should be playing.
Speaker 4 (40:32):
It because everybody loves it.
Speaker 5 (40:34):
It was like everyone's go to Phil song.
Speaker 3 (40:36):
That was fine and and rightfully so because we know.
Speaker 5 (40:41):
It exactly exactly.
Speaker 3 (40:43):
I'm grateful to be alive after hearing all of those songs. Yes, kiss,
All right, let's get to Katie on the phone here
one eight hundred and five to oh one oh two seven, Katie,
good morning, how are you?
Speaker 2 (40:55):
I'm good?
Speaker 14 (40:55):
How are you?
Speaker 4 (40:56):
We're doing all right?
Speaker 3 (40:57):
So you're calling about an issue with the guy your day?
Speaker 4 (41:01):
Yeah, what's the issue.
Speaker 17 (41:04):
So We've been seeing each other for like about five
months now, and I think everything's going really well. Like
I've met his family, he's met mine, Like we go
on dates like every week, like we see each other
all the time. But he and he told me he's
not seeing anyone else, But he doesn't want to put
a label in a relationship.
Speaker 3 (41:23):
Why does he not want to put it? Labe, We
need to find out why. So if he's not seen
anybody and he wants to see you, what's the reason
he doesn't want to label it?
Speaker 17 (41:33):
So he was married before we met, and they've just
been divorced like a little over a year now, and
he was with her for like years and years before that.
So I just think that that's the.
Speaker 3 (41:48):
Reason why I scarred a little bit from whatever happened
in the past. Yeah, if you were to come over
to Tanya's house, I mean you would have been invited
and she and Robbie were to host you and Katie
he were to come and introduce you. He would say, Hi, Robbie, Tanya,
this is Katie my What what would he say?
Speaker 17 (42:12):
I don't know. See, that's the thing is, like I
want to be able to say this is my boyfriend,
and I feel like I would be awkward, Like what
would he say? Like that's why I'm calling me because I'm just.
Speaker 3 (42:22):
A rest I I Well, maybe I learned this lesson
very quickly when I had a girlfriend, but I wasn't
so trained to introduce her as my girlfriend. And we
were at something and I was like, this is so
and so without saying this is my girlfriend so and so,
and I was corrected and understood. So I learned that lesson.
(42:43):
But there must be a reason why he doesn't want
the label. Maybe it is because he went through something
in the past and his fear of maybe going too
fast or his fear of your expectation is holding him back.
It may not be such a red flag. It may
be part of what he's his trauma.
Speaker 17 (43:03):
Yeah, no, definitely. I was thinking that, like, maybe it's
just I have to give it a little bit more time.
Speaker 5 (43:07):
How long has to be, Like we've been.
Speaker 17 (43:10):
We met like five months ago, so I mean it's
still pretty new. And yeah we met through her friend,
so it's not like he was like on a dating app,
like looking for anything, you know, it was like a
casual I feel.
Speaker 6 (43:21):
Like five months is an okay time to yeah and
put a label on it.
Speaker 3 (43:25):
Though, Can you do something that I don't love to do,
which is say, hey, can we talk about why? Just
talking about why he doesn't want the label so that
you can understand from his point of view what's going
on there.
Speaker 5 (43:36):
That's an interesting way to get into the conversation.
Speaker 17 (43:40):
Yeah, no, I definitely have to do that.
Speaker 3 (43:43):
I don't like doing that myself, but I definitely advise
you do it.
Speaker 4 (43:47):
Okay, all right, well, good luck it out.
Speaker 13 (43:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (43:50):
I would give him a beat on this and benefit
of the doubt on it too, since he's been through something.
Speaker 4 (43:54):
It sounds like.
Speaker 17 (43:55):
All right, Katie, Yeah, definitely, thanks so much.
Speaker 4 (43:58):
Thank you very much. I mean, I have been in
that moment where I was not ready for labels.
Speaker 6 (44:04):
At five months into a thing already.
Speaker 4 (44:07):
I don't know the timing.
Speaker 3 (44:08):
I can't remember that calendar, but I have been in
that point where, like I say, I wasn't quite sure
where I was yet with myself. So it's like and
coming off of something, not ready to call it anything yet.
Now I could evolve into something yet, but I have
been that place where I'm not ready yet, Tanya.
Speaker 7 (44:24):
I have not been in that position in my life,
but I have been with somebody in that position. But
I think it's interesting because you know, they say love
is patient.
Speaker 1 (44:35):
That's the first thing that I love.
Speaker 4 (44:36):
They said it's blind.
Speaker 1 (44:37):
Yeah, love is patient, So.
Speaker 4 (44:39):
If it's meant to be able to wait, yeah, But also.
Speaker 7 (44:41):
I think there's a there's a balance, right, you know,
like sometimes you might not meet somebody that's on the
same page as you, Like when Robin and I met,
we were not on the same pace or the same page,
but we compromise and met in the middle in ways
that made us both feel comfortable. And I think that's
kind of what you have to do.
Speaker 3 (44:58):
And you guys took the treadmill down to one point
zero on a one point inclin I mean, you guys,
really you took the speed down on your relationship a
little bit.
Speaker 7 (45:05):
We did in the beginning, and then I got to
a point where I was like, I don't want to
do this any this one point one on a one point.
Speaker 4 (45:12):
You want a six point five with an incline exactly.
Speaker 1 (45:14):
And you know what, he gave me, the six point
five on an incline.
Speaker 4 (45:17):
And then something I mean, and you guys, you guys
are really at an incline. I like it. You're going
right up that mountain right to the peak. Right, guys.
Speaker 3 (45:25):
This is fun And anytime you have a relationship issue,
we'd love to hear it. I'm not quite sure how
our advice all shakes out, but we do try.
Speaker 4 (45:35):
I mean, we do like we do try. Well, let's
get to Mediona.
Speaker 3 (45:37):
Let's get to the back room drama here, Mediana, good morning.
Speaker 4 (45:41):
So all I know.
Speaker 3 (45:42):
Is that you told us you met this guy, and
we're sort of waiting to see if he's a friend,
if he's not a friend, if he wants to be romantic,
if not, who makes the first move?
Speaker 4 (45:50):
How are we going to do?
Speaker 2 (45:51):
This?
Speaker 3 (45:51):
Has anything progressed? He's a cheek kisser. I remember that
part too, not really.
Speaker 15 (45:56):
The only thing I did notice is that I feel like,
all of a sudden, he's started to give people kiss
it's on the cheek. And now I'm like he listening or.
Speaker 3 (46:07):
Well, I mean if it were me, like i'd listen, Like,
wouldn't you listen if somebody that you were like hanging
out with or whue hanging out with this on the
show you could gather some scoop, get some information, learn
about them, I'd for sure listen.
Speaker 4 (46:18):
So let's assume he is HI.
Speaker 5 (46:20):
You I'm embarrassed. Now what'd you think was gonna happen?
Speaker 1 (46:24):
I don't know.
Speaker 15 (46:25):
I mean, I'm just telling you guys my business because
I'm like, give me advice, And now I think that
he knows, and I'm like so embarrassed.
Speaker 3 (46:32):
Well, let's assume that this is only educational for him.
Something has happened with his sweater since we spoke to
you can explain this.
Speaker 15 (46:40):
Yeah, So we were hanging out at my friend's house
and he forgot his sweater there and I was like,
I texted him and I'm like, you forgot your sweater
and he was like which one?
Speaker 5 (46:49):
And I'm like, bruh, you.
Speaker 4 (46:52):
Know exactly which sweater you forgot?
Speaker 15 (46:55):
And then he didn't even tell me like, oh, can
you bring it this this day or like, well, like
we did he.
Speaker 3 (47:00):
Mean to leave his sweater, So get like a bracelet,
you know, in on a coffee table, so someone have
to reach out and reconnect.
Speaker 15 (47:08):
My friends say yes, but I'm still like I don't know, Like.
Speaker 4 (47:12):
I think, do you call him bro?
Speaker 13 (47:14):
No?
Speaker 15 (47:14):
I don't.
Speaker 4 (47:15):
I mean, I don't. If you call him bro, you're
sending friend vine.
Speaker 5 (47:19):
Well, she's saying.
Speaker 4 (47:20):
Bray to us, though, I'm just telling you my red
flag radar went off.
Speaker 3 (47:27):
I'm saying, if you want to send signals that he's
not just a buddy, then BRA isn't the signal for me.
I wouldn't say that. But if you don't say that,
then we're doing But are you sending any signals? He's
not sending any signals.
Speaker 4 (47:37):
Are we in a stalemate?
Speaker 2 (47:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 15 (47:39):
I feel like now I'm just like the sweater would
have been the key moment for him to be like, Hey,
can you drop it off my work or can you
bring it by my house or whatever?
Speaker 4 (47:48):
That multiple sweaters? What do you mean which one is
a guy? Where that's what I said.
Speaker 10 (47:53):
I'm like, you know exactly.
Speaker 15 (47:54):
What I'm talking about, Like, there's no way.
Speaker 4 (47:57):
So we have two people here.
Speaker 3 (47:59):
Uh, one is kind of interested in Marianna because we
know that because we hear her side of it. We
don't know if this other guy is interested in more
than just a friendship. But Sisan Tanya is starting to
take too long.
Speaker 4 (48:08):
Yeah, started to move on.
Speaker 7 (48:10):
I know, Hello, your mom even is the one that
said you can't hurry love, No, you just have to wait.
Speaker 4 (48:18):
Said that before that it was another artist, but.
Speaker 1 (48:21):
That brought it to us here.
Speaker 4 (48:23):
But I just think, like, if you want to know,
let's just get there Marianna, Let's just be deliberate.
Speaker 5 (48:29):
I'm just gonna go to him. I think I'm just
gonna avoid him.
Speaker 6 (48:32):
Like, I mean, I kind of like it play hard
to get yeah, because I'm like so confused now, so
you should move on with your life. Start trying to
be you know, start looking at other guys, and he's trying.
Speaker 3 (48:43):
To find somebody. If she finds somebody, you're then can't
hang with her. Do you want this to work out.
Speaker 4 (48:47):
For her or not?
Speaker 10 (48:48):
I always want something to work out.
Speaker 3 (48:50):
She's like moving fast enough. Don't you think we should
either move on or yes?
Speaker 13 (48:54):
Yes, but I mean I told her she should have
said something, but she said, I'm just gonna let it, Simma,
I'm just gonna see Okay.
Speaker 3 (49:03):
Is always letting it simmer. I heard her say that
every single time we get to this place, it's a simmer.
What's gonna simmer out unless somebody turns up the stove.
Speaker 5 (49:13):
Make a move, or you just don't.
Speaker 15 (49:15):
Don't enforce anything, you know, I want it to be
very organic and I don't want anything to be like rushed.
Speaker 3 (49:20):
You know what?
Speaker 4 (49:21):
Posting others talking about New Year's Eve?
Speaker 7 (49:24):
Start posting other guys in your Instagram stories?
Speaker 4 (49:27):
Why kid you ask them so random?
Speaker 1 (49:29):
Just do it?
Speaker 3 (49:29):
What?
Speaker 5 (49:29):
Guys?
Speaker 4 (49:30):
Advice? The chaos of advice here.
Speaker 1 (49:33):
Post random guys in your.
Speaker 4 (49:34):
Stories, like like just guys she doesn't even know.
Speaker 1 (49:37):
Yeah, whoever, just throw them in. Take pictures with the transparent.
All right, he's gonna come, he's gonna come fly.
Speaker 5 (49:44):
You're gonna make.
Speaker 4 (49:44):
Him jealous, right, is right.
Speaker 7 (49:48):
He's gonna flying to you like a moth to a flame,
like a bee to a honey.
Speaker 5 (49:52):
You just wait, you just wait.
Speaker 4 (49:55):
Okay, but don't wait. Do it?
Speaker 3 (49:59):
Post it so we can see if there's a move
and I just cause we have to move on. Ryan's
roses come out. You don't want to ask him out like,
you can't do that.
Speaker 5 (50:06):
No, I'm too shy.
Speaker 4 (50:07):
I'm a shigrol, so shy that she's talking to how
many of you right now?
Speaker 6 (50:10):
About find a guy here at the station that you
could that you could post on Yeah, Instagram.
Speaker 1 (50:17):
I have him grab a cup of coffee.
Speaker 6 (50:20):
John Camuci over at my use here, you know what
I mean?
Speaker 1 (50:27):
You use his arm, use his leg.
Speaker 4 (50:32):
Here's the sweater right now, Marianna, I still have it?
What size it? Can I rock it? Maybe that would
freaking out?
Speaker 1 (50:40):
Yeah, let's take a s healfie with it.
Speaker 4 (50:42):
What color is it?
Speaker 5 (50:44):
It's all black?
Speaker 4 (50:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (50:45):
Well look at that I'm wearing one. All right, let's
come back, Mediana. Please keep it posting, don't simmer for
too long, Tayla.
Speaker 4 (50:54):
