Speaker 2 (00:03):
Ryan Air on Air with a Ryan Seacrest.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
This morning, I got up. I normally brush my teeth
then I go drink my coffee. I didn't. I just
went dirty mouth and drink my coffee, then brush my teeth.
I don't feel right about it, but it saved me
a little time.
Speaker 3 (00:23):
Is it better to brush your teeth right after the
coffee though?
Speaker 1 (00:25):
Then? Yeah? I do that too. Yeah okay, but I
prefer to like get up and brush my teeth first
before I do anything. Yeah, but if I'm gonna do
it again after the coffee, it's kind of double work.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
Why did you switch it up?
Speaker 1 (00:38):
Because I don't know. I just wanted to, you know,
put a coffee machine in my bedroom, and we heard
you should see all the gudge's gotten there.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
Right, A lot happened.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
I'm not outlets. I got one of those power strips
that Tom excuse me, laid out next to the bed,
all kinds of cords plugging in that thing. Got a
coffee maker running in there, got chargers, speakers of humidifier
running through there.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
Yeah, I want to get a humidify in my room.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
Yeah, you got time, a flashlight for any you know,
emergencies charging up in there, A lot of things by
the bed. You'll trip if you ever are If you
ever there and you need to go to the bathroom
the middle of night, you'll trip over it.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
Coming to your bedroom in the middle of the.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
Night because you've come to save me, I don't know
good to know, wouln't you? It's like a I mean,
how long? How many plugs is that strip? Pat six?
You have the Pennini presses in there?
Speaker 3 (01:43):
Yeah, you're cooking some salmon right right next to your bedroom.
Speaker 5 (01:47):
I actually had that thought that why so many cords
next to my bed?
Speaker 1 (01:51):
I mean, it's just the court stressed me out. But
this power strip thing is a lifesaver. But it's a
disaster at the same time. Yeah, because it just looks messy.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
I have a little stand that charges everything without any cords.
What why don't you get something like that?
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Those things never work because I put my Yeah, because
I put my phone has a case on it. It
never charges.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
It charges with my case and it feels like a
lot of radiation goes right there, boom boom.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
But I mean it's all bad.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
Even if you ever plugged in I.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
Put that thing between my legs for ten years. What's
going to happen next? I don't know.
Speaker 4 (02:27):
That's like my.
Speaker 5 (02:27):
Biggest fight with Robbie is he always puts his computer,
his laptop on his.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
Lap with a lap top.
Speaker 4 (02:34):
I know, but I need a barrier in between the
you know what and.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
Like some things.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
Oh, you're gonna be fine, you know, thank you?
Speaker 1 (02:42):
Does he do it?
Speaker 4 (02:43):
Yes? He does?
Speaker 1 (02:44):

Speaker 1 (02:51):

that night?
Speaker 4 (02:56):

Speaker 1 (02:58):

You just never know.
Speaker 5 (03:01):
Yeah, just like people, you never know, like nobody ever knows.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
You know. Yeah, I always wonder about that. But you
know what do you what do you wonder about that?
Because I'm trying to miss it right exactly? Hi, good
morning here.
Speaker 5 (03:18):
It is such a weird thing, though, you spend your
whole life trying to going around that, and then when
you shift to do yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
It's such a weird it's a small window.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
Yeah, thank goodness. All right. So have you started trying?
Speaker 4 (03:32):
No, not yet.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
So that's what you're gonna start on wedding. Correct, where
are you all staying? Stay next to us?
Speaker 3 (03:44):
Yeah, you get a.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
Room down the hall, be around here or not. But
I got friends, a couple of friends that they've got
that app. And my buddies like, oh gosh, we gotta
We're gotta go home right now. That's opinion a thing.
I we just started Dinner's like, no, but we got
to go now.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
I mean, it almost becomes a chore.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
But if you've been trying for months and months and months,
it does well.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
But you know, it's such a blessing.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
If you don't know what we're talking about, it's probably
a good thing.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
Probably.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
So we just got here. I got a lot to
do and pay some bills.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
It's Riday.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Football is over well till the super Bowl, but no
football this weekend, one week out from Super Bowl. Licks.
I don't know what the number is.
Speaker 4 (04:33):
It's l I X.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
So it is it's Super Bowl, right.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
Sick fifty five sixty five sixty.
Speaker 3 (04:45):
The ex is not a five, Oh, that's seven fifty
seven sixty seven, it's sixty four.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
It's four because the X is.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
Sixty four sixty is the X of five sixty two.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
No, man, how are we so exactly?
Speaker 1 (05:00):
Okay? Ten?
Speaker 3 (05:02):
Oh so sixty nine?
Speaker 1 (05:05):
No, No, it's les.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
Yeah, super Bowl licks.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
I'm going with that. It's fifty nine sixty nine.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
I was closed, No, you were not well now, well, no,
that lix is fifty nine.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
LIX is five nin er an X with the eye
in front of it is a niner nine to ten
and a V with the eye in front of it.
It's a four.
Speaker 6 (05:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
Correct, there's no basic Roman math.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
No, I am not Roman.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
Well be it chad eh about to get into your
horse ghost. But yeah, you know, you go over there
friend's house. Got to use the bathroom, like.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
Used use the bathroom like this is what we're trying
to accomplish, like to like like you're gonna be in
a situation, got it all?
Speaker 1 (06:01):
I just it's it's a simple little thing. I'm gonna
tell you about it. Are your friends?
Speaker 3 (06:05):
Yeah, but if you just gotta go pee real quick,
it she's gon't be that big of a deal.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
Well it's a big deal. Okay, it's a big deal.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
A big deal.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
I always have to pee and think I should do
it before I leave, but I want to take the
time and then I'll a sudden ten minutes in the ride,
and like, ah, should.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
I have friends that just come over to my house
just to peete and then leave that?
Speaker 1 (06:24):
Yeah, it's like they do. They tell you that there is.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
Sometimes no just knock the door.
Speaker 5 (06:31):
It was very perfect because it was a one mile
run to her house and then I would stop pee
one mile back home.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
And my friend Taja, she's a real estate agent, and
so she is always driving around and then always stops
in my house.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
She just stops using your ponty.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
Yeah before another meeting or somewhere else has to go.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
That is strange.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
Or she stays and chats with me if there's time.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
But I did have a I mean I had a
friend that when I lived at a different house, he
would come over and use my shower sometimes in the day.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
That's very weird.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
I'd like, walk in there in my shower, dude. So yeah,
not fog the windows up or something. Well, anyeah, let's
get to the horse.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
Yes, this is the best solo date for your zodiac sign.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
Okay, solo date?
Speaker 5 (07:19):
Yes, I mean the best solo date for your zodiac.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
How do you repeat the exact date?
Speaker 4 (07:27):
Alone? Solo?
Speaker 1 (07:29):
A date to take yourself on Okay, well that explains
I didn't know what solo date meant.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
You really like, don't realize that you repeat the same
exact thing again.
Speaker 4 (07:38):
No, because I feel like it makes sense the best solo.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
Date, it doesn't when we ask what does it mean?
Speaker 4 (07:47):
Again?
Speaker 5 (07:49):
Okay, Aries, try ice skating. Let your fire sign energy
run free as you dash across the ice to.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
The I would pass to it. I'm an Aries, There's
just no chance, because what if I fall and then
I don't have anybody to help me up?
Speaker 4 (08:03):
Athletic?
Speaker 1 (08:03):
Oh, I'm gonna go ice skating, get the sneakers on or.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
Shatter my knee, and I don't have anybody. Okay, Taurus,
go grab dinner, get dressed up, and reserve a table
for one at a restaurant that you've been dying to try.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
I can only do that because I'm so insecure at
the bar. Yeah, I don't know why I can't.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
I can get a table.
Speaker 4 (08:32):
Gemini.
Speaker 5 (08:33):
Hit up a comedy show. You'll feel right at home
amongst a crowd of people who all like to talk
and laugh.
Speaker 3 (08:38):
Cancer.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
Walk around downtown and let your intuition and guide you
as you pop into shops.
Speaker 4 (08:43):
Leo, get a drink.
Speaker 5 (08:45):
A solo date at the bar is the perfect way
to get noticed.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
Wink Virgo people watching in the park. It allows you
to silently judge other people.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
My gosh, get.
Speaker 5 (08:58):
Your nails done, getting pampered and pretty, just like you deserve.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
Scorpio read in a cafe. If Scorpios love anything, it's
appearing moody and mysterious in public.
Speaker 5 (09:09):
Sattarious, go to a museum as a sad You'll have
so much fun as you learn about other people.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
I went to the Broad and I had a shooting
idol downtown and I pumped into the Broad Museum. Absolutely beautiful.
Speaker 3 (09:22):
It's so nice.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
Capricorn, get a massage. You deserve as many spa days
as possible.
Speaker 5 (09:29):
Aquarius, Uh, paint pottery. You have an artistic urge building
up inside.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
And Pisces see a double feature. Nothing could be more
Pisces coated than seeing.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
A movie alone time.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
By the way, aquariums on her sheet. I was just
looking at her. She forgot the tea. It says pain.
Speaker 5 (09:51):
Pottery like that can't be right.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
You filled in the tea there all right? Who's in
the back room at Ruby, Mikayla, who's higned in the corner.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
No one right now, no one right now, someone.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
Will be here in the restaurant. I got the key
on how to use the restroom coming up in just
a minute. Can't wait. Yeah, I wonder if she did it.
Find out?
Speaker 3 (10:17):
Oh my gosh, so.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
Tany you mentioned it to me, this author Mel Robbins. Yeah,
and there's a book thereby keeps talking about called let Them.
So I downloaded audible, which I was pretty impressed with.
I did it, signed up, logged in, and I started
listening to Mel Robbins let Them. And she sounds like
(10:44):
a super cool person. And she's a bomb an author
and her first story is all about the prom and
has let Them antecdote to it. But she's somebody that
everybody keeps talking about. Like when I say i'm reading
this Mel Robbin's book, I'm listening to it. But I
say I'm reading it, people like, oh, yes, it's to
(11:07):
let them stuff let them theory. She started with the
five second rule, remember.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
That, like literally the five second rule.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
Well we all know, well, this is it. We should
start doing an unpleasant task within five seconds or we'll
never do it.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
Yeah, that's a good method.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
I don't understand it.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
Actually, yeah, So like, if it's a chore like something
that you really don't want to do, just start it
and get through those first five seconds, because once you're
doing it, you probably will just get it done.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
Just keep going. And then there's the let them theory.
It's the bestseller, the let them Theory, which, by the way,
I like it. It's actually really good. It helps you
clean out a lot of clutter in your head when
it comes to overthinking.
Speaker 4 (11:46):
Huh, oh my gosh. And I am like such an overthinker.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
And she's got basically it's let other people live their lives.
Stop letting other people's opinion their drama impact your life.
And it's impo for me to do this. But she's like,
don't care about what they think. But our business is
to like have people like us, So I do care
(12:12):
about what people think.
Speaker 4 (12:14):
Yeah, it's just like there's a fine line. Do you
know what I mean? Like, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (12:21):
I don't think she means like, don't care what listeners think,
Like obviously we want our listeners to enjoy our show.
It's like the other stuff, you know, if you make
a decision about something and then but you don't want
to make a decision because it might hurt somebody else's feelings.
Speaker 4 (12:33):
You gotta do what you gotta do well.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
She's gone viral with her morning routine, she says. Best
selling Mel Robbins, best selling author, she says, move your body,
whether it's a walk or a stretch or something work
out in the morning. I really need to get up
and stretch before anything. It's I can feel it. Number five,
get outside, take in the morning light. You got to
(12:56):
get outside. It helps the body. Want to get outside
and take in the morning light. Drink water before any caffeine.
I do that olive oil shot, then a room temperature
water with minerals in it, and then something for my
gut like a little powder. Keeps you keep shr regular.
(13:17):
Number three, she says, give yourself a high five in
the mayor every morning.
Speaker 4 (13:20):
I've never done that, but I'm going to start.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
Number two, make your bed immediately pass and number one,
don't use the snooze button.
Speaker 4 (13:30):
Yeah that's me.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
I don't like this snooze. I don't like it because
it's painful. I hear it, then I hit the thing.
Then I know I'm going to hear the thing again.
It's like, just give the me get up. Let me
walk over my panini.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
Ihit it at least three times?
Speaker 7 (13:46):
You do.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
What's the point just sleeping on the sh I.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
Just said it. For like fifteen minutes later.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
I can't because then when if I hit the snooze button,
then then I'm going to be late.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
I think that might be my deal breaker question when
I mean, somebody, do you hit the snooze?
Speaker 8 (13:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (13:57):
Why does it matter? You're going to wake up before
they do? Anyways, I might not.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
Maybe they work.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
They work?
Speaker 1 (14:04):
What Yeah, maybe the Ginger Chans friend. Maybe it's Ginger Chancery.
Speaker 3 (14:13):
No chance.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
I mean, maybe they're in news. News people got to
get there. Yeah, man, maybe those news anchors are on
at four. I I don't know what channel is. They're
like tomorrow morning at four. I'm like four, ye have.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
Four and seven, that's one of my When of my
girlfriends has that schedule and she gets up at like
two thirty five is painful?
Speaker 1 (14:35):
Who was in the bathroom?
Speaker 3 (14:37):
No, I don't know me. I think Elsie or she
still there. Well, she's doing stuff in the other studio.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
And she went to the bathroom. Both yeah, okay, all right,
Well I just wanted to see what she's up to
she's new here. I don't know her well, you know.
So Elsie in there for Medianna.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
Marianna left, Yeah, she's down the hall.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
She's over it to that other station. Yeah, doing big things,
doing big things. So Elsie came and took her seat
in the back room, right all right, So there you go.
They're having dinner at someone's house, maybe even spending the night,
and you gotta go to the bathroom. The key to
(15:23):
being as stealthy as possible. Run cold water the whole time.
Speaker 4 (15:31):
Want a waste, Why.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
Walk in there, Turn on the water, Run it cold.
It's gonna mask any sound that might happen. Can be
embarrassing because the toilet magnifies that sound. M hm. And
make sure it's cold because hot produces steam and that
traps the odor. You you don't want that, No, I'll
wait for you that I'm here today for that.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
You know what, One day I'm gonna need to use that.
You will, and I will think about you.
Speaker 1 (16:04):
Although we have those sinks where you gotta I gotta
lean over from the toilet and hold my hand over
the thing to get it to run for more than
four seconds.
Speaker 4 (16:11):
Yeah, not enough.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
I can't wash my hands. Today's squall, Tanya siciny here.
Even if it takes time, You're going to get exactly
where you want to be. In the meantime. Find joy
in the journey.
Speaker 4 (16:29):
Find joy in the journey.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
You got it in the journey. On Air with Ryan Seacrest,
Let's go into call in Santa Ana, Nicole, Good.
Speaker 8 (16:39):
Morning, Good morning.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
How are you?
Speaker 8 (16:44):
I am feeling a little paranoid over here?
Speaker 1 (16:47):
Is that right? Yeah?
Speaker 8 (16:49):
I'm just wondering if I'm being paranoid. I mean, you
tell me. My best friend is dating a new guy.
He seems fine whatever, Like, but here's the thing. He refused.
This is to be in photos. Like his excuse he
doesn't trust social media and doesn't want to be on Instagram. Okay,
but like he says, he has no social media presence
(17:10):
and wants to keep it that way. Something like his
brother at one point had his pictures used for cat
fishing or something. Anyway, my friend, like she thinks it's
kind of cute and quirky because she's all heart eyes
right now. But I don't know. I think he's hiding
something and is probably married.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
So whoa, Yeah, that's a big lead. You think the
guy's dating your friend he's married, I mean, a double life.
Speaker 8 (17:32):
I mean, in this day and age, it just seems
so strange to me to like go out of your
way to not have your face show up anywhere on
social media.
Speaker 6 (17:40):
Do you know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (17:41):
What if he's in the witness protection program?
Speaker 1 (17:43):
It could be love that theory, Yeah, I mean, that's
a theory. He's got a wife, she's winning this protection program.
Maybe he just doesn't photogenic, doesn't like to see himself
in photos. But I will say, it is a little
weird to completely want to be, you know, vanished in
all social media posts. There's gotta be a reason to that. Now,
(18:08):
did your girlfriend know she's you said? Oogly eye? Now?
But do you think when that wears off, which it will,
you can have this conversation. Have you had this conversation
and say, I love your guy, he's a great guy
and all, but something's up with the fact he won't
be in pictures.
Speaker 8 (18:23):
I was thinking the exact same thing, because I'm like,
what happens when she wants him to put her on
her socials? You know, like when she's exclusive or so,
she probably will be more open to that conversation. In
a beat, but like maybe.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
I just have to keep it tight.
Speaker 1 (18:38):
Beat Yeah, pin in it, put a pin in, give
it a beat. But I it's not witness protection as
a wife. It's something and you can help the bottom
of it.
Speaker 8 (18:49):
It's off right smelly, yes, yeah, exactly.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
Well the cole thanks for calling about your friend. Good luck.
Speaker 8 (18:56):
Yeah, thanks guys, all right.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
You take your care, all right, you too? All right? Yeah,
I don't know he is hiding something.
Speaker 3 (19:05):
I think he's hiding something for sure. And the whole
double life thing makes sense.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
How that is so hard to live a double life
to keep up with it? Like what is the point some.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
People I enjoy it weird way get off on it
or something.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
Really gross grows. And last night the Kia form the
Into It Dome, they were filled with big hearts.
Speaker 3 (19:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
Fire aid La show that came together obviously quickly in
a wake of those devastating fires here in our backyard.
Green Day kicked it off opening the show, and Billie
Eilish came out for Last Night on Earth from two
thousand and nine, which has a striking lyric. This song
has a striking lyric. The lyric is if I lose
(19:51):
everything in the fire, I'm sending all my love to you.
Listen that coming from the Kia Forum last night with
(20:14):
Green Day and Billie Eilish. Billy Joe Armstrong was the
first to greet the hometown crowd all in this together
from the bottom of our hearts.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
We love you, Los Angeles and we got your back
no matter what you know.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
It's a very moving to see firefighters and their families
up on stage talking about fighting the fires, a firefighter
losing a home of their own while they're out fighting
the fires, right, but shifting gears into what will become
of what was and how it will be even bigger, stronger,
better and more vibrant. Now, there's a lot of stuff
(20:53):
that you got to get through, and it's a long
way out and it's a long time, but it will happen, yeah,
and it will be a beautiful thing then, and there'll
be so much more meaning to those neighborhoods and to
those neighbors there for what they've gone through and what
they end up rebuilding. Billy Crystal, what do you think
he did such a great time.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
I didn't know that he lost his home in I
didn't ee there, and it was the perfect amount of
emotion and laughter at the same time, like talking about
that story of his kids finding the rocks that he
had spread out in his garden of different words, and
the one rock that they found was laughter. And it
was a moment when they went back to the house
to sift through things and see if they could find anything,
(21:32):
and that was one of the things they found.
Speaker 5 (21:34):
Yeah, I felt like he did such a good job
of It was such an emotional night. But he also
made me laugh a lot, which is like very hard
to do what he did.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
It's such a unique skill to be able to be that,
you know, heartfelt and serious.
Speaker 4 (21:55):
He was wearing the clothes that he evacuated in, which
I thought was just like very very moving.
Speaker 1 (22:02):
So Billy Crystal came out and here's a little bit
of it.
Speaker 9 (22:04):
Hello, La and everybody watching around the world watching us,
Welcome to fire Right.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
We're gathered here at the Key of.
Speaker 9 (22:10):
Form, which is Steve Bomber's guest house, and later we'll
be over at the Fantastic Intuidome.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
A goal is simple tonight, so.
Speaker 9 (22:23):
Raise more money than a Dodger spent on free agents.
Speaker 1 (22:30):
I mean, in a moment of just this seriousness, a
little laughter is good medicine Billy Crystal there, he gave
an emotional speech. I'm thinking back, didn't he do? He
did the nine to eleven Yes, benefit as well.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
He was one of the first people to come like
welcome everybody at that concert.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
Yeah. So just a beautiful spirit in those arenas last night.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
You know what else was kind of cool is that
it was everywhere. It was like on every streamer.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:59):
I actually had a g in the car and I had.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
To go to the store and get milk last night,
and as soon as I left from my living room
and got in the car, it was just picking up
right where I left off. And then on every single
station it's on, it just felt like the.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
Whole city was wings were spraying.
Speaker 3 (23:13):

out there a few years ago and jumped out of
a plane in Paris.
Speaker 7 (23:53):
Nice.
Speaker 5 (23:54):
I've always wanted to do that, but I'm too scared,
so I'm not doing No, it's fun.
Speaker 3 (23:58):

Speaker 1 (23:59):

Speaker 7 (26:07):

Speaker 1 (26:13):
Oh yeah, Brazilian nuts, peanuts, almond nuts.
Speaker 4 (26:19):
At supposed to have like three brazil nuts.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
Yeah, yeah, I don't pay attention to that one. Same
with macadamiens. If I find my Macadamien's hard to find.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
Okay, okay, what'd you say? Gressill Hans, small hand? Exactly

Speaker 7 (27:19):

Speaker 1 (28:08):

But matter what open bar one times Well, Alicia, Paris Valley,
enjoy your day, Thank you for listening, Thank you. Congratulations.
You're going to see Kendrick Lamar after eight o'clock. Sisney
(28:30):
has a Grammy preview for us US. We'll keep looking
back at the big fired La show last night, Sisney,
What's in the headlines right now FM headlines with Siciney.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
Yes, Well, let's talk about it.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
Over twenty artists took the stage last night at the
Kia form and into a Dome for fire eight LA
Surprises included Doctor Dray doing California Love, a surprise Nirvana reunion,
and Lady Gaga closing out the show with an original
song she wrote just for last night, You get a Party.
(29:17):
It was an incredible night and everything that you need
is up on the website. Dodger shohy O Tani visited
fire Station sixty nine in the Palisades yesterday to thank
firefighters for their efforts on the last three weeks.
Speaker 3 (29:30):
The Dodgers also made.
Speaker 2 (29:31):
A donation of ten thousand dollars to the station and
another three hundred and fifty thousand dollars to LA Fire
Department Foundation. Most of the Angelo's National Forests reopened yesterday
after temporarily closing earlier this month for critical fire danger,
and The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl with special
guests Northwest, Jennifer Hudson and Moore starts streaming next Friday
(29:52):
on Disney Plus.
Speaker 1 (29:54):
Rammy's Coming Up this Sunday on CBS and streaming on
Paramount Plus. Yeah, I just gotta watch land Man, land Man,
land Man and Ali Lardo, Ali Larder, Is that right?
She plays a mom.
Speaker 3 (30:12):
Have I seen this?
Speaker 1 (30:14):
It's really good. Billy Belthorne's great land Man Paramount Plus.
This is not the time to well.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
I wanted to see what if I'd even seen the
preview or the picture and I have.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
Not, So it's down there. When you flip into Paramount
Plus there's lion Ass and.
Speaker 3 (30:28):
Billy Bob Thornton.
Speaker 1 (30:29):
He's great. To me, Moore, it's another Taylor Sheridan show.
This dude's a maniac.
Speaker 4 (30:36):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
I wrote Lioness, he wrote all the Yellowstones, he did
land Man. That guy's unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
I've been starting to watch, like, you know, Award nominated
movies like for you to like SAGA Awards or Oscars
Best Pictures, things like that.
Speaker 3 (30:52):
That's good, are they?
Speaker 7 (30:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (30:53):
I mean I would have never watched him if they
weren't nominated. I tried a couple of them, like the
Last Show Girl with Pamela Anderson.
Speaker 1 (31:00):
I want to see that.
Speaker 3 (31:01):
Okay, see what is it?
Speaker 4 (31:04):
The Complete Unknown?
Speaker 2 (31:05):
The Timothy Yes, I watched that one as well, the
Bob Dylan. I loved it, Yes, I love it.
Speaker 3 (31:12):
I did well.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
Speaking of things to watch, how about things to listen to?
Speaker 3 (31:16):
That's the thing.
Speaker 2 (31:16):
The Grammys are this Sunday, So before the Oscars, we
have the Grammys. CBS released this promo this week. It
was like eleven seconds and then everyone basically got the
confirmation that Beyonce and Taylor Swift are set to attend,
but not necessarily perform. Other artists that are going to
be performing Benton Boone, Billie Eilis, Chapel Rone, Charlie c CX,
(31:38):
Sabrina Carpenter, Doci, Ray Shakira, and Teddy Swims as well.
I mean this, I I feel like this has one
of the best lineups of performers at a Grammy in
a while. As we know, Beyonce is leading with eleven nods,
Taylor has six, and they're both competing for yet again
Album of the Year, Record and of the Year. Okay,
(32:01):
so this is where people are starting to like speculate
what will happen because all eyes are on Album of
the Year, where Beyonce is looking for her first win
in that category ever, She's lost four times. Do we
think that she can pull it off against Taylor, who's
looking to have a record extending fifth win in the category.
Speaker 1 (32:21):
That's amazing.
Speaker 5 (32:22):
I look, if Beyonce doesn't win Album of the Year
this year, I am going to lose my mind.
Speaker 3 (32:31):
Well, you heard Tanya's opinion right there.
Speaker 1 (32:34):
I mean, look, I just don't know how the voters
are going to vote. Are they going to vote Taylor
because she's had such a record breaking run, or did
they vote Beyonce because she hasn't had it?
Speaker 2 (32:47):
I mean Beyonce's album was she reinvented Herself?
Speaker 3 (32:51):
Incredible?
Speaker 1 (32:53):
But she never won Album of the Year.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
No, No, she's never won.
Speaker 1 (32:56):
She's always she never won any Grammys.
Speaker 3 (32:59):
No, she's won ton.
Speaker 5 (33:01):
She has like oh she she has like the most
wins of history, right, like she has tons of them.
Speaker 2 (33:07):
But it's Album of the Year that she is not one,
and she's lost four times.
Speaker 1 (33:11):
Best New Artist who you think?
Speaker 2 (33:13):
Okay, So that's another category that everyone kind of has
their eyes on because when you hear the names in
this category, you're like, how do we pick one? Because
in my opinion, I ow, do I you see?
Speaker 3 (33:25):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (33:25):
So here the nominee is Benson Boone, he's good.
Speaker 3 (33:28):
Sabrina Carpenter, I would pick her, Doci.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
Kruong Bin Ray Chapel Roone, I would pick her, Chaboozy,
Teddy Swims, I would pick him.
Speaker 1 (33:38):
Do you see, I would pick Benson, Sabrina Shaboozy now
and maybe not she Busy, Chapel Roane and Teddy Swims.
Speaker 3 (33:48):
Yeah, you have to mack one so hard.
Speaker 1 (33:50):
Maybe I picked Sabrina Carpenter.
Speaker 2 (33:52):
But it's also wild that Sabrina Carpenters are considered a
new artist the Best New Artist nominee.
Speaker 3 (33:59):
Yeah, it's their breakthrough years.
Speaker 5 (34:01):
So it's like it's not necessarily the because she's albums six.
Speaker 4 (34:05):
She's only had six.
Speaker 1 (34:06):
I think they changed the requirement to be if you're
the new artist that broke out.
Speaker 4 (34:11):
Yeah, it's like your breakthrough year.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
Okay, so it doesn't matter how many albums you had. Correct,
It's also wild.
Speaker 1 (34:18):
It's Sunday Night YEP Crypto dot Com, Crypto dot Com
Marina Trevor Noah hosted. He's always just such a great job.
I love it when he's on the steady cam and
he's just out in the people and roaming through doing
his monologue. Very good. He's very good. Sisney Antani on
this It's not only the end of the week, it's
(34:38):
the end of the month, that is it. Love Month
begins tomorrow, February night. So uh, trying to enjoy your Friday.
A lot of people talking about this morning. Last night's
benefit the Fire Aid LA show, which was live at
the Kia Forum live at the end of it dumb.
So many different artists, so many people wanted to step up,
come together, so many stories to be told about people
(35:00):
lost things in the fires up on stage and just
to see the looks on I was watching one of
the firefighters talk and then they up on stage and
then they would cut away to the audience and just
to see the empathetic and warm looks on people's faces
that were watching these stories. Yeah, it made you feel
(35:22):
really good and it was a beautiful night. Can we
just talk about You may not know who he is,
but if you do know, then you'll Rod Stewart. Can
we talk about Roger Stuart Young? But he he's my
dad's age, He is literally my dad's age. But he
has hair, and he has hair that I want. He
(35:43):
has a chest that I think I want. Yeah, he
unbuttons his shirt to his belly button, and he he has.
Speaker 3 (35:52):
That forever young energy.
Speaker 4 (35:54):
You kind of you have that too.
Speaker 2 (35:56):
Okay, do you think that really can carry Rod Stewart.
Speaker 1 (36:04):
We can use the same monogram towels.
Speaker 3 (36:06):
All right, Oh it's so good. R s Oh wow,
I just got that minute very late last night. Yes, okay,
you have.
Speaker 1 (36:21):
To explain it. Yeah, we can use the same initial
koozies rs.
Speaker 5 (36:25):
I've been telling you to unbutton your buttons like that
far down.
Speaker 1 (36:31):
I mean, she honestly has I don't remember that conversation.
Speaker 3 (36:35):
You know, stop talking about it and just try it.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
Try it. Zebra Zebra chains. He was one of many
and doing such great performances last night for fire at LA.
All right, Tony, let's get into that trading report.
Speaker 5 (36:51):
Well, Lady Gaga surprised fans in the audience at the
fire Aid benefit concert with the gift of a meaningful
new song written just for fire Aid last night, which
she created with a special collaborator.
Speaker 4 (37:03):
Take a listen. There wasn't anything that seemed quite right.
Speaker 5 (37:08):
So me and my friend Michael, my fiance, my love,
we wrote this song for you.
Speaker 4 (37:21):
It's just for tonight. It's just for you so cute.
Speaker 5 (37:25):
She followed it up with I think we all need
a lot of things right now, but I think something
we may.
Speaker 4 (37:31):
Also need is time.
Speaker 5 (37:32):
Time is a healer, which is the title of the
new song. It was an emotional performance to say the least,
but I also love seeing an engaged couple working together
and creating magic.
Speaker 1 (37:44):
Last night LA was just a massive concert for Fire
at LA. Everybody was here. It was really an amazing
and powerful two venue show for several hours. It was
on every everything was streaming everywhere. You couldn't miss it
at the Kia form, Alanis Morrissett and Green Day was there,
(38:06):
no doubt, Pink the Chili Pepper, Steve Nicks, the Black
Crows into a dome bouncing back and forth, Billy Otish
and Gracie Abrams, Oliver Rodrigo, Tate McRae too, and let's
talk about Intererson Pact for a second. Do you remember
that moment?
Speaker 3 (38:16):
Absolutely?
Speaker 2 (38:17):
And that was the thing about the night is that
there was so many surprises that you didn't see coming
and then all of a sudden he brings out Doctor.
Speaker 1 (38:24):
Dre like what so it was? Anderson Pack and the
Free Nationals and Anderson was wearing a black Korea Town
Dodger jersey. Yes, and Denny brings out special guests Sheila
E and Doctor Dre And when California Love went off,
it was on Yes here it is Goose, I mean,
(39:00):
and that that is such an iconic song.
Speaker 3 (39:02):
Yeah, my kids know it.
Speaker 2 (39:04):
I was watching it with Asa sitting next to me,
and she was like the boy like just singing with me.
Speaker 3 (39:08):
It was such a beautiful moment.
Speaker 1 (39:10):
So you know those songs that you heard when you
were a kid that your parents listened, you were like
really oldies, but goodies, like classic, classic oldies songs. That's
going to be the one for that's yeah, like when
I have kids, that's an oldie but goodies, I know.
Speaker 5 (39:23):
But you know, it hit different last night. I feel
like it really hit different. And I feel because everybody's
wearing all their LA stuff. I love LA shirts, and
then that song, it was just.
Speaker 1 (39:33):
Well, you hear the lyrics differently under these circumstances, and
we play that song all the time and it's like
we turn it off. But when you hear the lyrics
and you feel the California Love, it's just different under
the circumstances. Last night. So to anybody that reached out
and participated and did whatever they could. Everyone's so appreciative
(39:55):
and grateful, and it's going to be a long road,
but a very vibrant comeback here in southern California. Steve
Bamer and Connie Balmer and Steve owns both those arenas
and also the La Clippers. They are matching every single
dollar donated, so things things are happening. Yeah, and this
(40:17):
concert came together and everybody dropped what they were doing
to do it. It's beautiful. You two started the show
donating a million bucks. Yeah, the Bombers matched it made
it into two million dollars to set the tone there.
So if you got all time when I escape stream something,
what's on your weekend watch list? Isn't he the weekend
watch list?
Speaker 3 (40:35):
Just okay?
Speaker 2 (40:37):
So you know I'm on like my my journey right
now of watching nominated movies. This one leads all movies
with thirteen OSCAR nominations, including Best Picture.
Speaker 3 (40:46):
And it's Emelia that is.
Speaker 1 (40:48):
I didn't realize there was a musical when I started.
Speaker 2 (40:50):
I didn't either when I was watching it, but it
was such a beautiful well and then I was so invested.
I started watching, like, you know, the extra videos that
they give you after the movie, and I got to
know that it was like a French director. They shot
the movie in France, but it was made to be
in Mexico City and it's about a Mexican lawyer, Zois
Aldania's character and she helped a notorious cartelbos retire and
(41:13):
transition and living as a woman.
Speaker 4 (41:16):
So it was a very It was like a movie about.
Speaker 2 (41:19):
Loving yourself and like being who you really truly want
to be.
Speaker 3 (41:22):
And it was incredible. Selena Gomez. I didn't realize Lena
Gomez was in it.
Speaker 4 (41:26):
She was really.
Speaker 3 (41:26):
Good, hands down.
Speaker 2 (41:28):
I mean, I actually think this might I haven't seen
all the other Best Picture nominations, but.
Speaker 1 (41:34):
It goes from like movie to musical back and forth,
and it's pretty incredible to see the way that that
transitions in the choreography of it too. It really is
all Right, Johany, what's on your weekend watch list?
Speaker 5 (41:45):
Mine is You're Cordially Invited. It's on Amazon Prime Video.
This is the movie starring Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell. Yeah,
it's about basically these two different parties. One is the
father of the bride and another one is a woman
planning her sister's ideal wedding and they double book hooked
this venue and then they decided to share the venue.
Speaker 4 (42:04):
So it's just like all about the chaos that ensues.
Speaker 1 (42:07):
Okay, and Ruby, what's on your weekend? Watch it?
Speaker 10 (42:10):
Mine is The Accidental Twins on Netflix. So it's two
sets of identical twins that get swapped when they are
in the hospital when.
Speaker 1 (42:19):
They're Oh, they didn't mean to get swapped.
Speaker 3 (42:21):
They didn't mean to get swapped.
Speaker 10 (42:22):
So they they were not thinking they were fraternal twins,
but they actually had an identical twin like a city
away in Columbia, No way, Yes, it's in Wait.
Speaker 1 (42:33):
So they grew up with different parents. They didn't realize
they were with the wrong parents. So I don't like correct.
Speaker 10 (42:37):
The parents knew that they had twins, they didn't know
they were identical, but once they got older they it
just all the way it unravels is intense.
Speaker 1 (42:46):
Yeah, and it's a reality docu.
Speaker 10 (42:49):
It's a real, yeah, real documentary.
Speaker 1 (42:52):
And things to put on your radar. Wednesday kind of
Pregnant with Amy Schumer's coming Out. Season six of the
Hulu version of the Kardashians is coming out. Uh, Celebrity
bear Hunt. I don't know what that's all about, but
it's a real show called Celebrity bear Hunt that's coming out.
Put that in your radar. Two Timey's at the Grammys
(43:12):
on Sunday, and you're doing any Special too.
Speaker 4 (43:15):
Right special aired last night, but as.
Speaker 1 (43:21):
A perk, they got your Grammy tickets.
Speaker 4 (43:23):
Yes, that's right, and.
Speaker 1 (43:25):
Chapel Roone is going to be there. Very exciting. Good
Luck bame one of the great songs of the year.
Now I read Friday about this time. We try and
look back at what the moments of the week was
and this week, what was it?
Speaker 3 (43:44):
Ah uh huh right there.
Speaker 2 (43:46):
Yesterday right, yes, we had a Jim's moment until this
happened yesterday and.
Speaker 1 (43:51):
They were like, oh, this is this is it?
Speaker 4 (43:53):
Yeah, this is taking over.
Speaker 1 (43:55):
So yesterday top of show and we're talking about to
Brenda Carpenter and Canogian Kogin, and that led us to
the conversation about staying friends with your exes and these
two over here, Sistey and Tanya don't understand that. I
don't get it that you don't understand that. I think
(44:16):
it's a beautiful thing, because anybody that you're with for
a period of time has added a layer to you.
That's important layer you're always so then I think Tanya
said that somebody that I used to date got engaged.
Speaker 2 (44:30):
Yeah, but then you were like what And I was like, well,
if you were still friends with them, wouldn't you know?
Speaker 1 (44:35):
Woll you told me and you guys are the trending
topic people.
Speaker 3 (44:39):
Yes, as well.
Speaker 1 (44:41):
That was I mean, that's one of those topics that
generally doesn't you know, you don't get to call on
that anyway, Here's what happened, and I'm happy for that
person because that person deserves to be with someone loves her,
and we'll be with her for the rest of her life.
Speaker 4 (44:56):
That's right.
Speaker 1 (44:57):
So congratulations to she. It's such a oh I got
a snort.
Speaker 5 (45:10):
Oh my gosh, it's so good everybody.
Speaker 3 (45:14):
This might make the moment of the week.
Speaker 1 (45:19):
I don't know, it doesn't sound as funny the second
time around. It wasn't the moment. And what is what
you're snorting? You've had two or three of those? Yeah,
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (45:27):
Maybe I'm a little stuffed.
Speaker 1 (45:28):
Up, or maybe you have a deviated septum.
Speaker 2 (45:33):
That's a very.
Speaker 1 (45:34):
Don't take down your septum. Put your head up. Okay,
your ear it's up in there, Tonya hold it up
to Sysney, Sydney. Can you see deviation up in there?
Speaker 3 (45:46):
Looks good?
Speaker 4 (45:47):
Thank you. I don't need that.
Speaker 5 (45:49):
Spirals women women generally, I think everybody has them in general.
Speaker 2 (45:55):
Mine are verry chucked in there. They don't like hang
out because guys are start to grow. Nah, I can't
help myself. I see somebody with the nose hair, I
can't help myself. I want to just pull out my
tweezers and just get rid of it.
Speaker 1 (46:08):
They hurt. That hurts when you pull that.
Speaker 3 (46:10):
