From Hollywood to You than You to Us air on
air with a Ryan Seacrest.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
In morning, and here we are on Friday, the first
day of November. I like it. I'm ready for it.
I can start using the excuse, can we do it
after the new year? Oh my god. I can start
pushing back in the new year. You know, if there's
(00:30):
stuff that you've been trying to get done this year,
push it into the new year.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
That's not the attitude. I don't hate it, though, I
see what you're coming.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
You can actually start saying, can we get together in
the new.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Year, Yeah, let's get let's let's.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
Do that in the new year.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
I mean, I just made dinner plans with some of
our friends for the week of Thanksgiving, Like that's the
next time that we can see each other.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
That's it's play to be here. But it's going to
be here soon now. She's going to be here soon. Now.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
I still felt far away when we made it. We
made it in October, just so long.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
AWO.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
Once you get through Halloween, it's really about that time.
Now there is some pushback. We'll talk about it later,
but there are some complaints about the Christmas season. I
guess we talk about this every year, ton, Are you
trying to get me to ask you about your lips?
Speaker 3 (01:13):
Stock?
Speaker 1 (01:13):
I'm really not really.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
You see how she's like in my face putting on
her lip gloss?
Speaker 1 (01:18):
A right.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
To ask you about it? I'm supposed to say your
lips say anything.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
I forgot my.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
Child's six plump everybody in the back room for two
days in a row, and I've been borrowing Sysney's and
they're chapped again. I don't want to ask her, so
all I have is my lipstick, so I'm not her.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Are you putting on in my face the second we
start talking.
Speaker 4 (01:41):
Because I need them to be hydrated for the show.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
I can't just have them be raw.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
It really looked like you were just doing it for
me to get me to comment about Well you're welcome anyway. Yeah,
I think that. You know, there there's two groups of people,
the groups of people that want Christmas season to start now,
and then those that pushed back on it because it's
too early and it keeps getting early and earlier. Which
group are you in?
Speaker 1 (02:07):
I want it now? I'm singing Mariah Carey already November.
Speaker 4 (02:13):
No, I'm still listening to Night Remember before Christmas soundtrack.
This is Halloween, this is yesterday.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Back to putting your lipstick on.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
It's Christmas and Halloween movies.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
That is another like dividing the internet type of thing,
because I don't know if that's more Christmas or more Halloween.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
It's both both. All right, Well, let's see what are
we gonna do on this Friday? We fall back this weekend.
I'll forget.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Oh my, we do much.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
I for God.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
Happens every year, Tanya, fall back this weekend own Today's
diadlas moritos. See, we'll talk about that later. We'll celebration.
Uh so we're actually ruby. We're talking to somebody about
this later too.
Speaker 5 (02:57):
Right, Yes, we're gonna talk to Jasmine model novel about
her the other loves Marto's block party in mid City.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
Wow, sounds like fun. Also, today is the national Calizone.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
It's Calzon in your hair. You say it with the
hand gesture. Kalon video over here. Okay, hair good today?
(03:33):
Oh keep going, it looks nice, all fresh youth you. Yeah,
you took a round rush and the hair dryer to
your hair this morning.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
I did the curl with the brush brush. It's got
some volume. Totally Calzone are probably sunny cool this weekend.
Highs in the mid to upper sixties. They get some
rain tomorrow. F y. That's right. Get this thing going here, guys,
let's go. It's Friday fall back this weekend. It is
suddenly November. Amazon dot Com was registered twenty seven years ago. Today, Wow,
(04:07):
coting back. We are paying your bills as we always do.
I got some kiss effing jingle ball tickets for you
every hour presented by Capita One. Also EATI is Friday
Night Lights, one hundred and fifty nine high school football
games happening tonight across southern California. Shall I run down
some big ones?
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Please?
Speaker 2 (04:23):
Bragging rights up for grabs him Burbank tonight as the
seven to two Burbank Bulldogs sophomore quarterback Dan Laporte take
on the six and three Burroughs Bear the corner of
Paris in Verdugo. Burbank is out for revenge after getting
crushed by Burrows last year. What will go down.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
Not been here?
Speaker 2 (04:41):
As we know by baseball, you can never predict what
will happen in a game.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
That's true.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
Over to the San Gabriel Valley, the eight and one
Duarte Falcons and their senior quarterback Avan Ortiz battle the
undefeated nine Lae Warriors and junior quarterback is Ezekiel Zamora
Zamora Ezekiel zam and then East La the eight and
one Sure High Spartans. Behind scenes, running back Elias Navarro
had five Miles, Sisany and Tanya Yes down Garfield to
(05:09):
play the seven to one Bell Gardens Lancers, and they're
running backs Jesse Medina and Daniel Tovar get them. They've
led the Lancers to a six game winning streak. Weather
tonight game time, Little Chili partly Claude tempts around sixty
at kickoff and Bill Gardens Friday night. Gosh, I just
love doing that look forward that every week because you
(05:31):
know I played tubs. I played football all.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
My life and I cheered for it all my life.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Ain't cheer for me?
Speaker 1 (05:37):
Well, I didn't go to your high school, nor were
we in the same grade.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
Oh, now you want to play that card. I want
to play that car. Let's do a side by side
and see if anybody can guess the difference.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
My gosh, side by side.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
With anybody in the back room you want to play.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
Let's go what he's feeling youth with.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
That because you said if you have to see if
they can guess the age difference.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
Oh my god, that would be fun.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
If we do a side But what people have to know? Yeah,
you can't google it side by side between tops. Come
here for seconds, put your cheek.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
Next morning, I think I don't think the average person
would would know our age difference, right right?
Speaker 2 (06:19):
All right? Take a look side by side, like looking
at the mirror one in the back room. Marianna, Yes,
side by side. What do you think the age difference
is here?
Speaker 1 (06:28):
Did you like just moisturized last night? Like you? Your
skin was bepeckable, trying call foul? Go ahead, maybe like
a two year different to your difference to your difference.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Actually don't know. By the way, I'm six years older
than he.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
In what direction did the difference get?
Speaker 2 (06:51):
Bring in that guy from sales, Marianna, let's do it
side by side.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
I tell you Ryan right on a high right now?
Ryan slept some moisturizing cream. Loe, I like it.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Let's get to the horoscopes. How's your taking to turn out?
November one?
Speaker 4 (07:06):
Aries, Turn your face towards the sun and feel the
warmth Taurus, placing your faith in a coworker will end
up pain off.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
Gemini.
Speaker 4 (07:15):
Don't run around in circles. Create a plan.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
Cancer, Those who wander aren't always lost Leo. Two heads
are better than one. Ask for help, Virgo. Don't engage
with any drama going on at work, Liebra, cross your
tea's and dot your eyes. Scorpio, make sure you get
your sleep tonight.
Speaker 4 (07:31):
Sagittarius, read the fine print before you sign any documents today.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
Capricorn, release what does not serve you.
Speaker 4 (07:38):
Aquarius, let your playful energy out.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
Today, and Pisces focus on that one big task at hand.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
I'm so happy we've made it to the end of
the week. And it should be a weekend ahead of
US Saturday and a Sunday, Oh yeah, great on a
Saturday in a Sunday.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
You know, I do want to argue that today should
be a day off for everybody because oh Halloween last night.
Are you not lagging your feet like my kids had?
My kids had late start day today. They didn't have
to go until nine ten or something.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
And let's talk about this for a second. Should we
reapproach Halloween? I mean, it really is a huge holiday.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
It is.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
It is a family holiday, except for some parts of LA.
But it is a family holiday, and some.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
Schools are honoring it and they don't have any school today.
The school is canceled, no school, no school for Marx kids.
And then some schools did a late start, so my
kids have late start today at like nine ten.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
So in you know, if you're promoting being with your
family or being with your kids, and you're promoting a
balanced life but you got to work, then maybe companies
should reevaluate Halloween as a real holiday, like a bank holiday. Yes,
because it's not. It's totally not fair for some parents
who want to be because for kids, this is as
(08:59):
this is like as big as the into the year
holidays en very.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Exciting for them. They were a costume, it's like a
whole thing.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
And to deprive your kids from your full attention, I'm
not so sure. I just don't know. Maybe we need
to reapproach. Who is the Bank Holiday committee that you
pitch this to, Probably somewhere on Google Google, I don't know,
maybe there are I think, I mean, I don't know why.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
Yeah, Like, how do you get a holiday like a
national holiday?
Speaker 2 (09:30):
Hoween should be a national day associated the super Bowl
following Monday?
Speaker 1 (09:34):
Well, yeah, Okay, thank you. I agree with that as well.
So you're saying we need the Halloween off and the
day after almost like a Thanksgiving type of thing.
Speaker 4 (09:41):
No, but then you're going to lose a day from
like Thanksgiving or your or your holiday break.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
And nobody the calendar.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
You can't really do that.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
What do you mean? What do you mean I can't.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
There's only a certain.
Speaker 4 (09:50):
Amount of days that like you can take off.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
I don't tell you I will.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
We're saying that we want to reapproach the lord of
days off around the country. Get Halloween to be a
national holiday like some mondays are. But this could be
a floating holiday based on the day. The week of
Halloween and also the day after super Bowl really should
be some sponsors should just pay for everybody's work the
Monday and make it. You know, Capital One brings you
a day off.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
Yes, exactly, sign up on this website and we'll send
you a day's day.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
That day off should happen. All right, let's see what
we're gonna do here. So, speaking of Halloween, Tana, you're
invited to a Halloween party. What's the problem.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
It's like over Halloween?
Speaker 4 (10:29):
It's past last night, last night, it feels weird, like
putting on a costume today.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
I agree. I think whoever these people are either don't
want you to come, or.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
They I'm going to Letos party tonight.
Speaker 4 (10:46):
It's Halloween costume Halloween party, I think.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
No, I think it's November, last weekend, the party weekend.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
No, are you gonna go and dress up? I'm so
past dressing up now?
Speaker 1 (10:59):
No?
Speaker 4 (11:00):
But actually that reminds me of this weekend. I never
got an r VP from Georgia for Sunny's birthday.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
I didn't understand the group text.
Speaker 4 (11:08):
Sonny's birthday party. She wants to invite Georgia.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
I'm trying to refrain from.
Speaker 4 (11:13):
Laughing Sonny's birthday party. She wants to invite?
Speaker 2 (11:20):
Are you spelling that with a W?
Speaker 3 (11:21):
Or?
Speaker 1 (11:21):
Yes? Paw get it like paw, I get it?
Speaker 2 (11:24):
Yeah, hawty, she's inviting Georgia.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
Yes, so twenty first I.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
Saw sysany Uh, you guys can't go, I respectfully.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
Declined, we're busy. She doesn't want to know. I'm hosting
this event for my sister in law who has a
wing truck.
Speaker 2 (11:42):
Oh that sounds great. Can I get invited to that?
Speaker 1 (11:44):
You can come to that?
Speaker 4 (11:45):
Come on over burgers and hot dogs at my party.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
I don't want the hot dog and dog shots.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
Talk to Georgia. So can Georgia just come?
Speaker 1 (11:54):
You can drop her off.
Speaker 4 (11:56):
She's well behaved, so she's okay.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
I am doing American Idol auditions on Saturday for the
new season.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
Well, the party Sunday, and.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
I'm doing it Sunday too. But I do love the idea.
I like dogs having little celebrations like this, and I
don't want Georgie be left out. So let me get
back to you. Let me RSVP on your plot.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
It's really about the dogs, honestly, of course.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
Yeah, Sney, gohead and do this zip tie thing, so
you're gonna remember where you were when you heard this.
But zip ties they can be very frustrating. You probably
keep buying more. You pull them too tight, and that's it, right,
I get, I get scissors and cut it off. It's
a real crisis.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
Unless you have some plyers, so probably like like needle
nose pliers, and then you squeeze the boxy part of
the zip tie. Once it's already locked, you squeeze it
and then you pull it and then it's completely and
you can reuse it.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
Where are you right now. Remember this.
Speaker 1 (12:59):
You are welcome.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
No one says boom shaka, I do. No one can
say that. What's the other one? Whoopy? You can't say it?
Speaker 1 (13:07):
Whoopy, she says, What is the other one? She says,
Go all the way?
Speaker 2 (13:12):
Oh, you can't say go all the way?
Speaker 1 (13:14):
Go all the way with these zip ties bound? How
about that one? How about hanky panky? This FM headlines
with well Downtown LA is being transformed into a giant
(13:34):
Dodger Street party for the World Series parade, which kicks
off at eleven am in front of City Hall and
ends at Fifth Street and Flower Street. And if you're going,
consider public transportation. There are a lot of road closures
and limited parking. The parade will be followed by a
ticketed celebration at Dodger Stadium. LA County sued Pepsi and
Coca Cola for their significant role in plastic pollutions, negative
(13:57):
impacts on the environment and public health. A magnitude two
point nine earthquake hit the South Pasadena area at three
point fifty nine pm yesterday afternoon, and Starbucks will stop
charging extra for non dairy milk starting next Thursday, potentially
saving customers over ten percent on their drinks on air
(14:17):
with a Ryan.
Speaker 2 (14:18):
Seacrest, how's everybody doing back? Mightn't even check in? I
mean last time, we had some good last but how
are you?
Speaker 1 (14:25):
No? We are good?
Speaker 2 (14:26):
Frida giggly either, Sistany's really funny? You guys are giggly.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
We're up both thanks.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
She's got Ruby, Mikayla got Mariana Maniana. Any update on
the guy from sales that I want to know about him?
Speaker 1 (14:42):
We do not want to know about him, Ryan, what.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
Do you mean? But did he hear us talking about yet?
Speaker 3 (14:47):
No?
Speaker 5 (14:47):
But I already thought about if he did ask I'm
just gonna say it was another guy.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
Well, how many guys and sales are over there? Goody
a lot? Ye surprised if there is multiple sales? Dudes
hollering at Mariana there is.
Speaker 4 (15:06):
Yeah for her playoff, we got you, we got you?
Speaker 2 (15:11):
Oh man, It's never a dull moment around here on
this Dados November one. Don't forget. We fall back this weekend,
so that means you turn the clock backwards. Show do
you gain an hour?
Speaker 1 (15:23):
You fall back and you gain an hour.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
So your Saturday night sleeps. It is kind of feel
like a long sleeps.
Speaker 1 (15:30):
Oh this is a good one.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
Well, it's good for your sleeps, but I think it
starts it's getting dark for your weeps.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
So like Monday, it's great for the party Monday. Right
now I would feel like the six am hours just
starting because it is so is.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
It dark the way around?
Speaker 3 (15:52):
Always?
Speaker 2 (15:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (15:54):
Fall back because it's seven and seven something right now,
it'll be sick something.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
Oh yeah, this is a bag. Yes, but it's better
for your sleep.
Speaker 1 (16:03):
No, it's not. You'll lose hours of sleep.
Speaker 2 (16:05):
Oh no, we fall backwards. We get an hour of sleep.
Speaker 4 (16:07):
That yes, we fall backwards, we gain an hour of sleep.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
Why do you have to repeat it? I just said it.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
I say it, and I understand it.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
But when I know so Sunday night sunsets at four
to fifty six pm. That's dark because when.
Speaker 4 (16:21):
You spring forward, you lose an hour because you lose that.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
Hour you spring yes, go back, you gain you do
it again. But the day, the day.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
But I mean so, if this right now is seven
something on Monday, this is going to be six something
because you fall back. Yessney's he was telling me I
was wrong, saying I'm wrong.
Speaker 6 (16:39):
It's going to be like fully light out like the
early the sunrise is an hour early early, so it's
light or early, but it's dark.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
I'm not talking about light or dark's the time. I can't.
I get so confused. I'm so over this.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
This twice a year the same reason, and we never
It makes.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
So much sense in my head. But you guys are
just like crushing my dreams.
Speaker 4 (17:04):
Yeah, so does my pawdy start it noon or does
it start at one?
Speaker 1 (17:07):
I don't know. No, I'm confused.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
With these. It's for a dog. Just can we just fall? No,
let's spring forward. Now, let's spring forward?
Speaker 1 (17:20):
Can we just don't move?
Speaker 2 (17:22):
Is it too early to decorate the holidays just quickly?
I don't think so. I quite like it because to me,
once you and the window between Thanksgiving Christmas is tighter
this year. But to me, once you get to the
end of the year, there's so much potential joy in
the Christmas holiday that I feel that the longer it
(17:43):
can last, I feel the happier week could be because
when it's over, really it's over. You got a strong
opinion on.
Speaker 5 (17:48):
This, I'm told I think it's a little too early.
I feel like you have to wait until like the
week of Thanksgiving because then that's when it really kicks
into gear and it just feels, it feels really special.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
I feel like it's too it's too early right now. No,
but Thanksgiving is so late this year, I know. But
Nita's not.
Speaker 4 (18:03):
Remember that Thanksgiving has its own magic too. Christmas has magic,
but so does Thanksgiving.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
Yes, nobody ever give Thanksgiving magic.
Speaker 2 (18:11):
Now you sound like frozen.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
Nita's not forget.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
Nita's not forget this magic.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
Here's here's what you do. You start decorating now, but
you do it in stages so obviously, like if you
get a fresh Christmas tree, you wouldn't get that right
now because it would be done by Christmas. But yes,
and you can put like the Christmas lights on outside,
but maybe not all of it. I don't know. You
just kind of do it in way Christmas lights already.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
Yes, I think it makes you happier, and when you
take them away, you're like sad. Now Thanksgiving is November
twenty eight. That's the latest date possible it can be.
So we're dealing with a short runway ruby between Thanksgiving
and Christmas. Give it them, give it a bee. Then
I'll set up for November eleventh maybe Sunday. So there's
(19:00):
more toast than the election. Can't decorate that day.
Speaker 1 (19:04):
You can definitely decorate for the election.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
Now as we get into November, looking at the holiday
season and what are the hot things going to be?
As we all know, Cynthia Rivo and Ariana Grande are
starring as Glinda and Alphaba in the movie version of Wicked,
which will be out just before Thanksgiving. Now, I feel
like we've been waiting on this very long.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
Oh yeah, that has been promoted for forever.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
This is we've been hearing about in the Trending Report
for five or six years.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
Yeah, it got like halted.
Speaker 4 (19:36):
There was a lot of There was a lot of
halting of it.
Speaker 2 (19:39):
So there's also a lot of merch that's going to
be attached to it, with really some cool green colors too, Sidney,
what did you find?
Speaker 1 (19:46):
But I think that right now, it's like the world
that we live in. We kind of live in this
merch culture where everything can be merch and so why not.
You know, you saw it with Barbie taking over everything
last year and even the Taylor Swift move. The popcorn
buckets were like collector's items. If you could get one
of those metal popcorn buckets.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
Speaking of merch and branding, Mark, anybody, Hm, this is
one of they stre putting master Card in the pictures Mound.
Oh yeah, those two circles I actually thought were like
a mistake until I saw another brand on the pictures Mound.
They super imposed yea, and they sell time on the
(20:26):
pictures Mound. Is that new?
Speaker 6 (20:29):
It's it's the last few years, and I think we're
all the baseball fans, We're just kind of used to
it at this point because it's everywhere you look as advertising.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
And even you guys, even the stand up for Cancer
was a was master Card. The two little circles were there.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
Beautiful, beautiful.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
It was very beautiful to watch with that Tuesday night.
But that right there, it had the master Card logos
on there too.
Speaker 2 (20:49):
Because master Card donated five million dollars to Stay Up
to Cancer, And I was I texted Mark. I was
moved and touched and in tears by everybody who held
up those cards.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
That was because when you think about it, everybody knows somebody.
They hand those cars to everybody in the stadium, and
you chances are you can put a name down.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
So my brain was like, are they doing that live.
Are they're doing that live during the game.
Speaker 1 (21:09):
We've done a Chargers game before and they do it
in real time.
Speaker 2 (21:12):
They pre tape that.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
No, it's live, it's live.
Speaker 2 (21:14):
In that moment, it was truly beautiful and I was
I was emotional about that. I mean, it's yeah, but yes,
I know MasterCard, but they think that because the commercial
came from Astercard right after that too. Anyway, back to
Wicked God again.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
Brands teaming up this that they're teaming up with Wicked
and then this is like across the board from clothing
to make up to merchandise like the Stanley Cusp suitcase.
I'll get to go.
Speaker 2 (21:40):
So like the.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
Forty on Stanley, the forty on Stanley that's gonna there's
like two versions of that, a pink one and a
green one. Lego has come out with their version of
Emerald City ahead of the film. Bays has that new
green and pink ombre luggage that they're.
Speaker 2 (21:56):
Calling that's what it is.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
Good Spinner carry on and Monopoly is even wickified with
a special edition oz board. Gold tookets include Alphabu's hat
and Glinda's crown, while Munchkin homes and Emerald castles replace
the house, the houses and hotels, and I thought that
was really creative for them to do. So that's what
I'm saying, like, if you can get anything wicked for
(22:18):
the holidays, Yeah, home run ready.
Speaker 2 (22:21):

Speaker 1 (24:37):
All of this note his birthday party?
Speaker 2 (24:41):

and Engineer Tubs will write down something in the blank.
Here we'll see if you can match. Okay, So here's
here's your blank, Elaine. Just fill in the blank with
a word in your head. Then I'll ask you what
(25:23):
it is and we'll see if that matched with the
panel wrote down. Does that make sense? It's fan Okay,
here we go, blank candy. Don't say anything, just think
blank candy? What kind of candy? Elaine? What is she
gonna say? Panel? You ready? Okay? Good Elaine? What kind
of candy?
Speaker 1 (25:41):
Cotton candy?
Speaker 2 (25:43):
Well done? Sisney, you said cotton candy.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
You can tell.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
I can tell by the panel's reaction to your answer
what they've written down. All right, So one match too,
Tany you said.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
Yummy candy, I said Mexican candy.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
And finally, Engineered Tubbs, what kind of candy did you say?
Speaker 1 (26:10):
Don Canny?
Speaker 2 (26:10):
Do I got two matches? Sopran, it's over to you now.
So you got to get two matches to tie three
to win? Good luck? Here we are yours his don't
say it out loud. Just think your soprana is blank school,
blank school? Exactly what kind of school is it? All right?
(26:35):
And what did you say? Soprano? High school? She said
high school Sisney.
Speaker 5 (26:38):
Disney said high Schoolana.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
I said Sunday school, Sunday school, Ruby, I said high school.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
Said the stakes here, it all comes down to engineer
Jeffrey Tubbs' answer soprana. If he said high school, you
win the tickets. Elane matter, Well, I know you're here.
It doesn't matter because it's still time with two again.
All right, Tom's for the wind? Did you say? He
(27:12):
said home school? Tie? We go back to Elaine another round.
Here we are yours is you should give up to

it's like he just does local l a stop.
Speaker 2 (28:44):

Speaker 2 (29:06):
Also Penn State, Ohio State, that's a big game, number
three and four playing some great Saturday footballs when I
love it.
Speaker 1 (29:13):
I'm starting to watch a lot of college football these days.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
You could also not we did not just feature the locals.
We could use the big games of the weekends. Okay,
like we do for the Friday night lights. Yeah, except
just local high schools. But yeah, right, national colleges, yeah yeah,
because I mean Penn State. Ohigo State's a big game yet,
but they don't say pen How do you know? Because
my father went there, he was a Niitney Lyon.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
My husband went there.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
Your guys went to Penn State.
Speaker 1 (29:38):
He did, didn't he?
Speaker 2 (29:43):
Sorry, he did not go to Penn State. He went
to Penn and her husband. So what's wrong with you
to Yes? We did this? Is u? What was I
gonna do? Oh? Okay. Jasmine Mombanada of Mid City, she's

Speaker 7 (30:19):
Hi, Hi, so happy to be here.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
Well, we want to know more. So you've teamed up
with Councilwoman Heather Hut for the Day of the Dead
celebration the honors and heritage of the community. We got
live music, you got dancers, you got free rides. I mean,
break it down for me what you're doing. How this
has gotten bigger.
Speaker 7 (30:35):
Yeah, No, it is a phenomenal event and it's such
a blessing to be able to have the privilege to
put this together in the neighborhood I grew up in
the caredival rides all free where we have so many
amazing talented vendors from the community that are going to
be selling. We have a beautiful art gallery that we're
bringing the exhibition to life of It's called that Basilica,
(30:57):
which is an eternal hug and basically encapsulating the idea
of Morning to Memory and how these artists present it.
We have twenty eight artists, we have live music.
Speaker 3 (31:07):
The best part the.
Speaker 7 (31:08):
Main exhibition, the main the main attraction is our beautiful
community alter that features over one hundred frames of community
members and it is it's so special.
Speaker 2 (31:17):
So how do you can you just come by and
check it out. Is it open to everybody?
Speaker 7 (31:22):
It's completely open to the to everyone, free entry. We
do have an RVP list that way we can give
out some free tote bag full of goodies, but other
than that, it's all are welcomed, All all are invited,
family friendly, and we're we're so grateful to be able
to facilitate a free event for the community.
Speaker 2 (31:41):
That is wonderful and it's in the heart of West
Adams tomorrow from noon until eight o'clock. Jasmine, I love it.
Thank you for coming on and sharing the word. And
here's to many more years of it.
Speaker 7 (31:53):
Thank you, Thank you so much. Yeah, we're so grateful.
It's all family run and we have an amazing group
of volunteers that help us all together. So it's truly
from the community, by this, for the community, by the community.
Speaker 2 (32:04):
That's what we need. This is the kind of stuff
we need. You know, this is important stuff. Well, we
love you. Thank you for coming on by Jasmine. Bye.
If you want to go down there, second annual Dat
Dayless Festival block Party, West Adams Boulevard, check that out.
As she said, it's free to come by noon until
eight this weekend. What's you up to. It's gonna be
(32:27):
a little cooler, so layer up, throw on a coat,
much off of the rain. Tiny s having a potty hotty.
So it's Sunny's birthday, twenty first, Sonny's twenty first birthday.
Yeah in human years.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
Yeah, in human years. I have like a little shot
glass k.
Speaker 2 (32:43):
I wouldn't do that to yourself. Why, because Sunny's seventieth
is going to get here too fast.
Speaker 4 (32:49):
Yeah. No, I think this one will just do twenty one,
but then the rest.
Speaker 1 (32:52):
Will just go back to like christ George's eleven?
Speaker 2 (32:54):
What's up? What's the map gots?
Speaker 1 (32:58):
You guys all beat Dakota's fifteen?
Speaker 4 (33:00):
So it's actually not it's not seven times each.
Speaker 1 (33:03):
It gets it gets less and less as they get older.
There's some chart online. Yeah, hold on if a dog,
I got it.
Speaker 2 (33:09):
She's eighty two years old. George is eighty two according
to ruin My Day. What am I supposed to do
now that?
Speaker 1 (33:18):
Wait? Eighty two? There's another chart?
Speaker 2 (33:21):
Yeah, to find the new math chart.
Speaker 4 (33:24):
Oh yeah, we know thirt she's thirteen eleven eleven, My gosh, guys,
everybody calmed down.
Speaker 1 (33:32):
So eighty I don't know. This is so confusing.
Speaker 2 (33:35):
So how does she?
Speaker 1 (33:36):
I see a bunch of different charts.
Speaker 6 (33:37):
Well take the youngest headigree dot com. You put in
the age, and you put in the breed. So I
put eleven year laboratory retriever eighty two years old.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
Well you sound so cheaper about it. You're not happy news.
Speaker 1 (33:48):
I mean, that's not what I wanted to kill your
gods around that same age eighty three, because she's actually
she's probably seventy six. She is a small dog. She's
younger than because she's getty bitty. Small dogs live longer.
It's just fact. I'm really not happy now. Yes, Michail,
I'm not. Diego is about to be one in two weeks,
(34:12):
and that makes him fifteen years old. A big leap.
Speaker 4 (34:16):
Yeah, it's a big leaf that first year because he's
a large dog.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
That's pouring salt in my wound.
Speaker 1 (34:23):
So send her to the birthday party. She Georgia, there's
like a fine wine.
Speaker 2 (34:29):
I need to go home spend time with it.
Speaker 4 (34:32):
Okay, Yeah, we need to talk about Kelsea Ballerini though,
because you all know that I'm such a big believer
in recognizing your toxic dating patterns.
Speaker 1 (34:40):
Remember this.
Speaker 4 (34:41):
So for me, it was the book Calling in the
One that helped me realize these patterns. But therapy also
might be how other people's other.
Speaker 1 (34:49):
People other people do it.
Speaker 4 (34:52):
But Kelsey Ballerini realized that she was a big time
ghoster before her relationship with Chase Stucks. She said, one
thing I realized about myself is in any relationship in
my life with my career with my friends, with a partner.
As soon as something feels scary like it could go wrong,
my unhealthy pattern is to just be like, oh, I'm
going to jump ship.
Speaker 1 (35:13):
So she was a ghoster back in the day, but after.
Speaker 4 (35:15):
Learning this about herself, she realized that the opportunity to
have those hard conversations and work through the turmoil is
like the best thing that can happen to a relationship.
Speaker 1 (35:24):
And so I thought it would be fun if.
Speaker 4 (35:25):
We went around the room and like, if you have
realized any of your toxic dating patterns, because your toxic
dating patterns, somebody listening might be like, oh my gosh,
I didn't even realize I do that too.
Speaker 1 (35:40):
You get it.
Speaker 2 (35:42):
I I mean, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (35:45):
I don't know it.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
Everybody has a toxic dating pattern.
Speaker 7 (35:47):
You do.
Speaker 2 (35:49):
I don't know that I do. You do?
Speaker 1 (35:51):
Though the mind was mine wasn't a pattern. It was
just a toxic relationship.
Speaker 4 (35:56):
So like, you don't realize it. It's one of those
things where like so if.
Speaker 1 (35:59):
You don't realize it, then we don't know.
Speaker 4 (36:00):
But that's what I'm saying, do a little digging, do
a little internal It helps you re when you recognize
it so like I was dating guys that lived not
in Los Angeles.
Speaker 1 (36:11):
Remember I was dating the guy that lived.
Speaker 4 (36:12):
In Houston, a guy that lived in New York, a
guy that lived in Chicago.
Speaker 2 (36:15):
But we don't have that many dramatic, dynamic toxic I think.
Speaker 4 (36:22):
If you dug deep internally, I think you'd figure it out.
Speaker 2 (36:26):
Okay, what makes me want to do any of that?
Speaker 4 (36:29):
Because once you recognize the pattern, you can break the pattern.
Speaker 2 (36:33):
But I'm not in the pattern.
Speaker 1 (36:34):
And I want to stay in my pattern. I'm married
in the pattern.
Speaker 2 (36:39):
I'm friendly with everyone.
Speaker 1 (36:41):
Fifteen years in with my dude. Can I keep that?
Speaker 2 (36:43):
Like? Why do you want to? Ah? You want us
to have a toxic pattern so desperately.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
I don't want you to have one.
Speaker 4 (36:49):
I just think not knowing is not good, Like you
should know and recognize it so that you can have.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
For what to what you're talking about?
Speaker 6 (36:56):
Ryan?
Speaker 1 (36:56):
Are you talking to both of us?
Speaker 4 (36:59):
To me?
Speaker 2 (37:00):
Ryan?
Speaker 4 (37:00):
But I think if Sisney were to think back on
when you were dating, I'm sure there was a toxic
dating pattern that you had pre Michael.
Speaker 2 (37:09):
There's some Why do you want us to have this thing? Yeah?
By the way, you already told me my dog's eighty two.
Now you want to dig into my.
Speaker 4 (37:19):
Toxic because I think it's enlightening. Don't you want to
be enlightened.
Speaker 1 (37:23):
And have this I want.
Speaker 2 (37:26):
I want to lay on my couch and I want
to wrap the belly of my dog. That's what I
want to do. I don't want to enlighten. I don't
want to improve. I don't want I don't want to expiritual.
I just want to go. I want to order food
and I want to eat stuff I don't normally eat.
And I want no one to talk to me. That's
what I want.
Speaker 1 (37:42):
That sounds like so much fun.
Speaker 2 (37:43):
Want Can I come over?
Speaker 1 (37:44):
I won't talk to you and.
Speaker 2 (37:47):
Don't speak, don't speak the same couch digging self improvement stuff.
Speaker 1 (37:55):
It's so good.
Speaker 2 (37:57):
Light a scented candle and enjoy your husband tonight. John.
How are you hey? I'm all right?
Speaker 3 (38:03):
How are you?
Speaker 2 (38:04):
I'm okay? John? Thank you so much for asking. So
you found out that before your wife and you dated,
you found out something.
Speaker 3 (38:12):
Yes, I found out something that has It's been tough.
Speaker 2 (38:16):
I'm a little it's conflicted.
Speaker 3 (38:19):
I'm conflicted about it. Apparently my wife told all her
friends before we met that she thought I was ugly?
Speaker 1 (38:30):
How did that even come up?
Speaker 2 (38:34):
Right? Right?
Speaker 3 (38:35):
So we have a few mutual friends, like from before
we had met each other, and one of those friends
who was trying to connect us for years brought it
up at like a party and we were hanging out
with them this weekend and we've been together over two
years now. Before I found this out. The friend was
like drunk and said, oh my god, do you remember that,
(38:56):
Like you didn't want to go out with John because
you were going around telling everyone that you thought that
he was like an ugly guy and you didn't want
to be set up with him, And like, now you're married.
That's crazy.
Speaker 1 (39:06):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (39:07):
I mean I just want to jump in here and
save everybody some time and hassle. You're married to him,
So does it matter, right if she thought you're ugly
or not? Are you going to divorce her over this?
Because if you're not, then there's no point in obsessing
over it.
Speaker 3 (39:22):
No, I know, I see your point.
Speaker 2 (39:25):
You have married a woman, so what she thought of
you before didn't matter.
Speaker 1 (39:28):
She married you obviously changed her mind.
Speaker 3 (39:32):
Yeah, It's just I think it's just hard to live
with the idea that like, maybe deep down she still doesn't.
Speaker 2 (39:38):
Is it really attracted to me?
Speaker 3 (39:39):
You know, maybe it's a marriage's stability or something.
Speaker 1 (39:42):
You know, what were you like those years? Maybe you
were a little rough around the edge maybe you know, yeah,
you know what I mean, we've all had our bad years.
I get it, by the way, Johnny.
Speaker 2 (39:53):
Said, they're rough on a Friday like this all morning
with me too.
Speaker 1 (39:57):
No, I get it because sometimes I look at all
pictures of my like when he was in high school,
and I was like, no chance I would have dated
you in high school. But you know then he's like
hot dude in his twenties.
Speaker 4 (40:06):
Yeah, maybe that was your wife's old toxic dating pattern.
She was like dating all these hot guys and then
she was like I want to break that pattern.
Speaker 2 (40:14):
No, you're not helping, just like it didn't help us,
was not helping, John.
Speaker 1 (40:20):
No, I think she thinks you're hot now, Okay, yeah,
you sounds hot, and it doesn't matter because you're not
divorcing her over this, So you should not even worry
about not just.
Speaker 2 (40:37):
Create some levity out of here.
Speaker 1 (40:38):
Yeah, and don't be friends with that friend.
Speaker 2 (40:41):
I mean, look, I don't Ruby wasn't attracted to David
at first.
Speaker 5 (40:46):
I was, but now he's like the most attractive person
and we're going to get married.
Speaker 2 (40:50):
He's my guy.
Speaker 1 (40:50):
He locked it in like it doesn't matter.
Speaker 2 (40:53):
You were basically John's wife.
Speaker 4 (40:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (40:55):
See the attraction. The attraction grows, for sure, and it's
because of your personality. It's the way you treat her
all that. Even you when when my husband became a father,
that made him even sexier than I ever like like
looked at him before. Oh my god, So all of
those things matter.
Speaker 2 (41:12):
No, no one ever liked any of us at first.
Work for it, charm, everything's good, have a good weekend,
all right, Well, thank you all.
Speaker 3 (41:25):
I appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (41:26):
But I mean she didn't like you for at first, right,
she got to know you, right, you disagree, he doesn't know.
We don't ask that that they want to good on
that path or tan you'll call you and ask you
to do something.
Speaker 1 (41:39):
Gosh, Sysney's so right.
Speaker 4 (41:41):
Like I saw Robbie was trying on wedding bands the
other day and I was like, never been more attracted.
Speaker 1 (41:46):
I was like literally drooling. I'm wait to see him
hold a baby.
Speaker 2 (41:51):
What college did he go to? She didn't even know
what college?
Speaker 1 (41:57):
Aout football, I talk about football.
Speaker 2 (42:02):
You gotta get the different between Penn State and Penn
figured out on or he carries this baby.
Speaker 1 (42:07):
I don't know the difference.
Speaker 2 (42:08):
Sonya, no, thank you, because you're not marrying the guy
like she's marrying and she's know what college you went to?
What does happened? Literally on air with Ryan Seacrest, Oh
my gosh, huh. I just I just saw her and
(42:28):
was talking to her. Oh Mark, let's Stewart. Yeah, like
two days ago, I didn't even know she's coming out
with it. Would ask her about it is it?
Speaker 1 (42:36):
It's out, it's out. It came out this week. It
came out on Wednesday. I think, oh wow, Yes, this
is like a documentary on her our weekend watch.
Speaker 2 (42:43):
Of Sysney, what's on your the weekend watch list?
Speaker 1 (42:46):
Just well, this is basically the Martha Stewart documentary told
in her own words. And Martha to me is like
the queen of just everything. She's it's kind of like
her rise and fall and then her rise again, because
you remember she was like America's like homemaker everything, and
then she goes to prison and then afterwards comes back
(43:07):
and like teams up with Snoop Dogg and like rebrands herself.
Speaker 2 (43:10):
I kept it's so funny. I saw her, yeah, and
we said hello. We met each other over the years,
and I kept in my I go and ask her
about Snoop Dogg, but I was sure why I was thinking.
Speaker 1 (43:19):
That well, and we had her in studio. We had
her snoopdog in studio right at the high side of
the doing that show together. So and Snoop Dogg has
new music out today, by the way, but this show,
I haven't seen it yet. It came out a few
days ago, but just with like Halloween and everything, I'm
behind it. This is on Netflix. He definitely check it out.
Speaker 2 (43:37):
Tania, what's Tony weekend watch to?
Speaker 4 (43:38):
So if you missed Olivia Rodrigo on her Guts World Tour,
do not worry because now you can watch it on TV.
And it's basically Olivia Rodrigo Guts World Tour and it's
backstage on stage before the show, after the show with Livia.
Speaker 1 (43:54):
I liked the documentary style.
Speaker 4 (43:56):
Yeah, and it's including that surprise performance when chaperone came
out for Hot to Go when she was in LA
I don't know if you guys remember that, but it's
including that.
Speaker 1 (44:03):
So that is out Ruby. This one is so good.
Speaker 5 (44:08):

Speaker 2 (44:10):

Speaker 1 (44:13):
Oh wait, you tried it.
Speaker 2 (44:15):
I like it, but I'm not. I'm not following it.
Speaker 5 (44:18):
You have to fully watch. You cannot be on your
phone yet blink.
Speaker 2 (44:21):
I mean like I watched the first episode twice, yes,
because I wasn't following it.
Speaker 1 (44:24):
Yeah, yeah, the first episode.
Speaker 2 (44:26):
You just have to get past it.
Speaker 1 (44:27):
But it's basically it was the same.
Speaker 2 (44:30):
Way it was.
Speaker 1 (44:30):
It was hard to get into, and then I was hooked.
Why is it so hard to get into? It's just
like a.
Speaker 2 (44:35):
Slow it's I think it's smart. Yeah's hard for me.
Speaker 1 (44:40):
Do not wait a minute.
Speaker 5 (44:42):
But it's about an intriguing novel appears at the bedside
of this journalist and she's really horrified when she realizes
she is a key character in a story that basically
exposes her deepest, darkest secret.

Speaker 1 (45:43):
Yeah, she said her friends are always setting her up
with guys that she doesn't like. Dudge aw.
Speaker 2 (45:47):
Then we started talking about okay, the discussion of the
setting friends up thing, which Tony loves doing. So I
remember saying, uh, because Tony loves setting people up, and
I was like, you've never set me up. I'm knowing
you a long time, right, yeah, and then the wheels
came off at that point. I do remember this now,
you never set me up with anyone?
Speaker 3 (46:05):

at the holiday party.
Speaker 2 (46:09):

Like she's so cute.
Speaker 2 (46:31):

Speaker 4 (46:36):
No, no, she doesn't have kids if she's married and
so happening. Still so cute and like fun and cute.
Speaker 1 (46:42):
Yeah, you guys have like a moment in the photo
booth and like it was cute. And then afterwards you're
asking her who her friend was and there was a
time to maybe make a move and nothing like that.
Speaker 4 (46:51):
Typical totally yourself because that was a good girl I
set you up with.
Speaker 1 (46:59):
