Speaker 1 (00:00):
From Hollywood.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
See you, thank you for listening to US Air on
Air with a Ryan Seacrest.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Well, it is Wednesday morning. Not nearly as hot today
is the headline. Not nearly as hot today. Hies around
a cool eighty.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Wow, that is beautiful.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Hies around a comfortable ninety. Oh yeah, it's day like
this through the weekend. Yeah, but we'll take it. We'll
take it for sure. Between all the articles about you know,
our water supply, where our water comes from the Colorado
River and how in is it twenty thirty or thirty six,
all of our water somehow is going to be reused,

(00:45):
so all the and local so won't be piped in
from anywhere. Like if you were to pull up the
ground of Los Angeles and look at the snake pipeline,
like not snakes, but the pipelines that look like snakes
snaking through our city, it.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
Would be so cool. It's you just you take it
for granted that it's the water's there, but you got
to think about it, and you look at this heat,
and they're saying that all of our waste water will
be one hundred percent reusable.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
That's the part that really doesn't sit well with me.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
It's like you don't want to think about where that
chicken came from. No, when you have chicken, sometimes it's like,
if you watch the chicken documentaries, you will not eat
chicken again.

Speaker 5 (01:24):
No.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
I think the expression is like you don't want to
know how the sausage is made.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
No, No, I'm talking about actually the chicken. I watched
the Chicken documentary.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Yeah, I know it's documentary, that is Yeah, and I
kind of like I can stop you in your tracks
for a lot.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
While the way turkey or chicken I couldn't eat for
a while. Yeah, last night I finally had ground turkey
for the first time in years. But it is fascinating
to think about. So anyway, I guess the point is
a little relief.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Happy Wednesdays, Happy Wednesday to you, and happy good Wheel
of Fortune week.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Were enjoy watching.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
We're Into It premiere week continues.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Yes, that's many hours away, seven thirty tonight on ABC seven.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
I'm great, Thank you so much.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
Are you on TV today? You're camera ready?

Speaker 1 (02:06):
No, but uh, they are taking some photos of me
today for yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Camera like I can tell when any of us have
something to do after because there's just a little more readiness.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Yeah, yeah, Yeah, they're taking photos just of me just
sitting here, you know, doing the thing.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
Thanks for including us. That's nice.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
With everyone.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
Get the memo and that it's probably in.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Your schedule this week and even because I'm doing it tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Individual photos. Yeah, and they're going to put.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
All together I don't know, just like candid cutes so that.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
They have been asked to do that with all the jocks. Yeah,
the disc jockeys, disc jockeys on.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
It's not my best day. I'm like day two of
my menstrual phase, so I'm feeling kind of like what.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
They're going to take the photos and have you approve them.
You'll get the you'll be you'll have full photo approval. Yeah,
that's something they'll give you. The back room is here,
but Tubs told me the microphone is not working, so
we can just see you wave. I guess you could
turn your your.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
Can turn yours on?

Speaker 5 (03:01):
Right?

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Yeah about that new fade that you got has faded
some of your engineering skills.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
He's got a tight new fade.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Cute.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
Yeah, you want to see it? Rocket stand up there
you go to there it is?

Speaker 1 (03:17):
What is that?

Speaker 4 (03:18):
What do you call that?

Speaker 3 (03:19):
What you what you ask for when you went into
the shop. I'm always nervous to do something like this.
What did you actually ask for?

Speaker 4 (03:24):
Well, I asked him for a trim, and this is
what I got. But that's not a trim. That is
the tightest fade I've.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Ever come over here more.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
I need a closer look.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
All right, come come over, tubs. Don't be shy.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Yeah, you're too far away from me to see the
old It's not.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Are you that's not a trick over. That's like it's
a makeover. It's a it's a man's makeover cut. Are
you performing at the jojo soon? Are you performing on
the mat? You got a big match coming up?

Speaker 2 (03:51):
I really like it.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
It's a it's athlete hair. It's like thing to slow
me down here. It's just not a trim.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
It's not a trim.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
It actually looks good. I just be scared. I mean,
mine looks different all the time. Yeah, so I don't
need to change it up.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Here looks the same.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
It may look say, every now and then, you'll do
a tighter fade here and there.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
Every now and then. It's so good to be with
everybody this morning. As we said, not so hot today.
The NTA Video Awards are actually tonight. Everybody's in New
York City for that. That's a big deal. And my
friend Harry Connick Junior celebrating a birthday. He was a
judge on American Idol back in the day. I remember
that I got some Stagecoach twenty twenty five tickets for you.

(04:37):
In a second, let's get into the horoscopes. How is
your Wednesday.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
Going to be okay?

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Ariy, don't forget to read the fine print.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Taurus, open every single door you can get your hands on.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Gemini, sleep is your bff today.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Cancer, slow down and take it one step at a time.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Leo, your mind is going to go a million miles
an hour. Write everything down.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Virgo, engage a coworker to to help with the project.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Libra, happy hour is calling your name today.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Scorpio makes space to breathe and be open to the possibilities.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Sagittarius, trash takes itself out. No need to get involved, Capricorn,
you need something new in your life today, aquari Is,
don't forget your manners when you rush through the day.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Em Pisces, make sure you're there for your partner today,
romantic or work partner.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
So the thing is like, when I hear those things
at this time of day, it does change how you
kind of look and think about the day.

Speaker 4 (05:31):
So hopefully that's for the better.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
Oh, basking in the glory of love, just basking in
the glory of perfect happiness over there? Siciny does it?
But I think a big basker of it right now?
A profound basque coming from exuding from Tanya rat I mean,
just just talking about life is good when love.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Is hot, That's right, babe.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
How many times the day do you say a version
of that life is good when love is hot.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
I don't think I say that.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
If I say that, that's the radio version of it.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Yeah, that's the radio version.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
But now, but do you know about this? Now?

Speaker 3 (06:09):
She's saying, you know, I need to set whoever the
friend a friend to be. I need to set you
up with somebody because you need to feel what I feel.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
The casking in deep profound love.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
If you've felt what I tell your Rada felt, you've
never felt before, She said that, trying to.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Spread the love.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Yes, exactly. So I feel like a lot of people
come to me and say a lot of people come
to you.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
The basking.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
No, they say I'm going to give up. I want
to quit. I hate dating in LA I can't do
it anymore, and I feel like I need I like
taking this upon myself to be like, no, that's not
the attitude. Let's switch it around. You're so amazing, you
have so much going for you. And they say I'm
done with the apps, I'm done with this, And then
I tell them to get back on the apps, like
it's not as bad as it seems. But then I

(06:59):
find myself in this position where I'm like, let me,
let me set you up.

Speaker 4 (07:03):
You don't want to be that person.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Now I'm there, and that's supposed to just happened organically,
and I don't know how to do it.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
Because it's going to ruin one or two things.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
Either the relationship won't work out, so that's ruined to try,
or your friendship gets damaged when the relationship doesn't work out,
so that's a double jeopardy. I'm just worried about I
have friends too.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
There.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
You know, people want to be good friends and they
want to set you up, but then if it doesn't work,
you've got not only a relationship that didn't work, you've
got a friendship that you've got to deal with.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Well, I don't think so, because people used to set
me up, and I would never take it out on
the person that set me up if it didn't want you.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Did you end up dating a person an extra date
or two because a friend set you up and you
didn't want to have to do That's interesting? You can, yes, maybe,
I just I won't end it too soon because my
friend told me how good their friend is, but their
friends not as good as I was sold.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
But see where I'm finding myself in a pickle is
I'm trying to set them up up with somebody that
I know already and then I'll show them pictures and stuff.
But then I haven't checked with the other person to
see if they're interested. And now I'm finding myself in
this pickle. So I don't know how to like, I
don't know exactly how to do it.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
So I just want to understand. Someone came to you.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Yeah, well yeah, use that many people come in three?

Speaker 1 (08:19):
I have three right now.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
That I please take a number around the corner.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
I'm not lying.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
So anyway, this person that's coming, you said, I'm fed up,
and you said no, I said no, But not have
that found and then separately you found this person, but
they don't know about each other? Correct, So what are
you gonna do?

Speaker 1 (08:37):
I don't know what to do. I'm like, I don't.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
Well, then get the ball rolling. Did the person that
you showed the picture to were they interested?

Speaker 1 (08:45):
They were kind of like okay, yeah, And I'll go
to the other person and be like, hey, what do
you think? And then then what if the other person
is going I'm not so into that? Then that's it.
Then you move on. So it's not a good fit.
There's got to be a better way. There's got to
be a better system.

Speaker 4 (08:59):
Asking in her own profound love there, look at that?

Speaker 1 (09:01):
No, I want to. I want to. I want to
be like matchmaker now yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
Pianically though, like I was set up, but it took
almost a year for us to finally.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
Maybe this is the way the universe is meant to
t happen for this couple. You know what time, you're
already down this path. You're doing this from a good
place in your heart. You have the ultimate love right
now to share. So why don't you just try it
and see what happens. Okay, I'm gonna don't tryn't you
don't want to try.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Advice, and then she doesn't.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
I do.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
I do. I just feel like I'm doing it backwards,
Like there's got to be a better protocol to setting
people up.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
Follow through on this one. Okay, see how it goes
because you have two other people in line.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Yeah, I do.

Speaker 4 (09:39):
You got to get through these I do, all right.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
Next, everyone wants to raise a nice child, right, You
want to have a nice kid, right, So they say
the best way to do that is to make sure
that they have one of these in their lives, and
that is having a dog, sister, a sister. People who
have sisters are more likely to be generous, helpful, and caring.

Speaker 4 (10:04):
This is science.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
I believe it. Yeah, it makes sense.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
I believe it too.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
Like I have a special feeling about the bondness that
I have with my sister.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
We all have.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Sisters here, we all have sisters, and my kids all
have sisters.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
I would say, we try to be the kindest person
reversion of the person we can't.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
Well, yeah, because I feel like, and this might be stereotypical,
but like when you have brothers, it's like the brothers
just are competitives.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
They fight and they are there's just like so much
to stop.

Speaker 4 (10:35):
One up the other and that that kind of right.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
It's like even Maxim compromises and watches like the Barbie
shows for ASA, like in the playroom. You know, I
know if he doesn't want to watch that, but he's
sitting there and watching it with her.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
It's the beginning of what I'm talking about. Yeah, a sister,
no pressure, but I'm just saying, a sister, all right.
Today's quote, as you heal, the people pleasing goes out
the door. As you heal the people pleasing goes out there.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
You gotta please you wow where you can worry about
ebody else too. I'm sure everbody else is fine. I'll
deal with plenty of time. This FM headlines with siciny well.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
Former President Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris met in
Philadelphia last night for a presidential debate hosted by ABC News.
Trump and Harris clashed over a abortion, immigration, the economy,
foreign policy, and more. Immediately following the debate, Taylor Swift
endorsed Kamala Harris for president on Instagram.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
The bridge fire in Santa Bernandino County.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Grew to over forty six thousand acres and for several evacuations.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Fire Department.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Structural defense groups have been placed in Rightwood and Mount
Balty and Not the Spooky Farm. The Not So Scary
Halloween event for kids and families returns on September twenty
sixth with Trigger Treating, live entertainment, costume content, us, pumpkin decorating.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
And more.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
On air with Ryan Seacrets, sunshine and not so hot,
I mean hot, but not so hot and not so
hot is fine. We'll take not so hot right now,
and it should get a little bit nicer as we
get into and closer to the weekend. So as we're
with you this morning, on this Wednesday, we come with

(12:23):
things that we've got planned, and then every now and
then we're sort of putting a pin in those things
to handle whatever happens in the moment. This is right
now Claire reaching out to us and basically.

Speaker 4 (12:33):
Saying hey, Hi, Hi, Hey Hi.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
And saying hey hi, I basically are you bombed at
your made of Honor speech? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (12:46):
I feel terrible.

Speaker 6 (12:48):
My maid of honor speech bombed. The wedding was this
past weekend, and she's my best friend from college and
we're super close and it was such a perfect wedding.
But I just bombed. I don't know what to say.

Speaker 7 (13:03):
I need a joke about her being an ugly kid,
which is like a running joke between us, but no
one laughed. Well really, yeah, one of the yeah those.

Speaker 3 (13:17):
First of all, I'm sorry it went that well. I mean,
there's two schools of thought here. One is you're close
enough to that person to have fun with every component
of that person. Like, for example, Sisney Tanya, we work
together every day. We don't really get offended by anything
that we say to each other. It was the same
with me and Kelly Rip, but we didn't have any
because we were close. We could, you know, as they say,

(13:38):
wind each other up or have some fun. But yes, situation,
it's almost like, because you're front and center, because you're
the maid of honor, you want to limit the risks
in that category that you take. And it sounds like
you went for it. And there's nothing worse than that feeling.
We've all been there of crickets.

Speaker 7 (13:58):
I just feel like, I I'm so scared if I
ruined her wedding. And I know, like I'm not the
sent of attention, but I just it went on too long.
It was just bad and they're leaving for their honeymoon tomorrow,
and she's not answering any of my calls or my text.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
You have to make it up to hers of the wedding,
go like, did you guys have fun afterwards? Was there
dancing and all that stuff?

Speaker 7 (14:19):
She just avoided me all night after that sea and
I need help.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
It's in your head, Claire, maybe a little this is
in your head, Like she didn't avoid you. She's getting married,
she's celebrating, she's off to her honeymoon. She's not if
I get married, I'm not responding to tany and siciny
the day after.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
Yeah, I am.

Speaker 7 (14:37):
All night the wedding night.

Speaker 6 (14:39):
She didn't talk to me all night, like she's my
best friend.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
She's mad. You have to make it up to her.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
But it's also a narrative you could be creating because
you feel bad about.

Speaker 4 (14:46):
What you did.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
What are you doing right now?

Speaker 1 (14:48):
Make it up to her right now on the air.

Speaker 6 (14:50):
How can I make it up to her?

Speaker 5 (14:51):
Like?

Speaker 7 (14:51):
What can I do?

Speaker 4 (14:52):
What's her name?

Speaker 6 (14:55):
Audrey?

Speaker 3 (14:56):
Audrey? What a beautiful name? Well, what would you like
to say about Audrey? As if you were giving a speech?
Make it quick though, remember short.

Speaker 7 (15:06):
Audrey have known you for so long and whatever I say,
please know that it's kind of stupid and it's not
that serious and I love you.

Speaker 4 (15:14):
Now I'm gonna take this. We're gonna send it to you.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
You can send it to her wherever she is and
have her listen to it in a PDF. Because your
heart's in the right place. I think everybody can sense
that a PDF.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
We will send you the audio.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
F m P three whatever I can't.

Speaker 4 (15:35):
Yeah, well they will keep that as a difference.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
So they're gonna die because she's going on her honeymoon.
That's a waste of money.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
Yeah, don't do that. But your heart's in the right place.
We've all been there and bombed in a speech.

Speaker 4 (15:43):
We know the feeling. And thank you for calling it up.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
I think this is cute that you called us.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
We'll send you an app, okay, m P three app
mark you know, an.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
App and all points bulletin, All points bulletin. A lot
of fun that's had here anymore. It is full speed
ahead on a Wednesday.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
I don't want to make it seem like you're trying
to get through the days to get to the end
of the week, but I do because that's I mean,
I know it's bad to think that way, but.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
Yeah, because you're not supposed to like live for the weekends.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
I know we all.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
Live for the weekend, do I don't want to be
that guy that's always like fast forwarding to looking forward
to the next thing. But I have to tell you
that if we just get if you get through today,
manage today the best you can, Tomorrow you're touching the weekend.
Tomorrow you're on the cusp of the weekend, and that's
it's going to bring you home.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
I know.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
I don't want to think that way because it' supposed
to be in the present. There's no future, there's no
pass there's only the present. But I am a futurist.
I am a futurist.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
That's why they call it hump day.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Yeah, so anyway, we're going to get there. How do
you feel about your car, the car you're in now,
if you were to buy in California in a handful
of years, how do.

Speaker 4 (16:57):
You feel about it?

Speaker 3 (16:58):
Limiting your speed if you're going over the speed limit, Systey,
what are the details of this and why here?

Speaker 2 (17:02):
If you're in your car right now, you're probably not
going that fast because chances are you're in mourning rush
hour traffic as we mostly are here in Los Angeles
and Orange County. But Governor Gavin Newsom could approve this
new bill where it would require new passenger vehicles Solder
manufacturing in California to be equipped with this warning system.

(17:22):
I actually have had vehicles that have this already. It's
a feature that it's like a setting that you can
put and you can set the speed limit and then
it'll tell you like speeding, like if you get too
close to it.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (17:32):
I've rented a car and it vibrates if I get
close to the lane.

Speaker 4 (17:36):
Yeah, lane line.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
Right, ye, Blaine assist.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
What was it called lane assist?

Speaker 4 (17:41):
I think great, Well it excares me to death.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
Yeah, I've actually taken that feature off my I don't
like that it.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
Vibrates also anxious. I think the car is going off
the tracks.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
So this would be maybe similar to that, and it
would be a warning that would if you're like ten
miles per hour over the speed limit, it would give
you a audio and visual or probably some flashing thing
on your dashboard and then it says speeding or you're
going over the speed limit.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
I love that. I don't mind it either.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
Because sometimes you know, I'll I'm not really paying attention.
I look down to oh my gosh, I was speeding
like I didn't realize.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
It's not even paying attention to how fast you're going.
It's like these these signs with the speed limit, they're
so far in few between nowadays.

Speaker 4 (18:22):
I know.

Speaker 3 (18:22):
But when you see one that works, like when you
say it, think flashing. You think they're pointing a big
finger inside your eye.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
I always think that I'm going under. And then a
guy drive by those things and it's still like I'm
still over the speed.

Speaker 4 (18:32):
Limit, but blinks so fast.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
It's like, who I know. Well, they're hoping that with
this traffic fatalities are going to go down. They actually
went up twenty two percent since twenty nineteen, so that
about it's just.

Speaker 4 (18:44):
Think cars are just faster.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
I mean, why that distracted drivers?

Speaker 4 (18:47):
Phones? Yeah, it's got to be more phones, more so after.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
Twenty nineteen because maybe a lot of us we're at
home in twenty nineteen.

Speaker 3 (18:54):
Well, twenty two percent's gone up by twenty two percent
since twenty nineteen. So if it's gone up we're at home,
that's still bad. That's still worse, you know, But I
think it's got to be distraction. I mean, that's got
to be the driving force. I see people all the time.
I mean I've picked up my phone before and I'm like,
put it down. I like to talk to myself and
call myself dude when I'm alone. Yeah, I see that,

(19:16):
So I don't I'm all for it to cut down
on that crisis level. But it is weird to have
your car screaming things at you.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
Why we're screaming at people through the speakers of their
cars all the time, and they're voluntarily listening to us.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
I think we're having a very calm conversation.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
Oh that's not true.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
Right now, we're having a calm conversation.

Speaker 4 (19:40):
Yeah, we never break our calm.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
Try to even keep that cadence the entire show.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
Okay, no, breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out,
breathe in, breathe out.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
On air with Ryan Seacrets.

Speaker 3 (19:57):
All right, we get to do one of those fun
things that get to happen every once in a while
here on the Morning show, and that is to give
away ten thousand dollars.

Speaker 4 (20:06):
Is life changing.

Speaker 3 (20:08):
It's something that you know when you win somebody this
for example, This is for this summer allowance.

Speaker 4 (20:11):
Contest that we did.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
And I heard this summer Tap that app and right,
tap that app.

Speaker 4 (20:16):
That's what we say. Tap that at has a little
ring to it.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
We did a whole music video to this. Did you
not see it?

Speaker 3 (20:23):
Every time Jojo says it, I'm listening to Jojo, He's like,
tap that app, Like, Jojo, don't see that.

Speaker 2 (20:29):
We were like, girl, you look good, Tap that app.

Speaker 4 (20:31):
Now, jo Jo, Come on, it's me you're talking to.
Just watch yourself.

Speaker 1 (20:34):
Tap that app.

Speaker 3 (20:36):
You're saying, app app app Okay. So anyway you entered
by tapping yeah easily and the tongue, you get the
one hundred and two bucks and someone is the lucky
winner to get ten thousand dollars. We've now drawn the
name of the lucky person who's tapped the app to
get the ten thousand dollars, and we're calling this person

(20:57):
right now. I will tell you we are dialing MH
in Lancaster. If you're in Lancaster, let's put the call through.
We're calling this person.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
Her name is.

Speaker 7 (21:13):
Hello.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
Hi's Nishe there, Hi, Hi Nisha. It's Ryan Seacrests calling
with Sistney and Tanya on Kiss FM.

Speaker 4 (21:22):
Hi, Hi, Hi, good morning.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
What are you doing.

Speaker 8 (21:27):
I'm fine.

Speaker 5 (21:28):
How are you guys?

Speaker 4 (21:29):
We're good. What are you up to this morning in Lancaster?

Speaker 8 (21:33):
H nothing, just feeding my baby right now.

Speaker 4 (21:37):
You're feeding your baby. Well, tell us about your baby.

Speaker 8 (21:40):
His name's Ryan and who's almost five months.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
No way, I love that name Ryan.

Speaker 4 (21:49):
You have a Ryan. My mom's gonna be so happy
for your name.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
I love it.

Speaker 5 (21:58):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (21:59):
Well, listen, we're calling you. You realize that we're all
on the radio right now.

Speaker 4 (22:04):
You know that.

Speaker 8 (22:07):
No, it's live on the radio.

Speaker 4 (22:08):
Uh huh.

Speaker 1 (22:12):
Oh well, high world, and the world.

Speaker 4 (22:16):
Says high back.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
Nisha Robinson, mother to Ryan of five months in Lancaster.
You have just won ten thousand dollars.

Speaker 4 (22:36):
You got ten grand.

Speaker 5 (22:38):
Oh my goodness.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
Can you believe it? Nisha?

Speaker 8 (22:42):
No, out of everybody in the world, out.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
Of everybody who tapped the app in the world, you
are the right winner. Somehow the universe wanted you to
get the ten thousand dollars and you got it.

Speaker 7 (22:56):
That's because my son's name is Ryan.

Speaker 4 (23:02):
You are the best. Niche Robinson.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
How does it feel to win ten grand like that?

Speaker 2 (23:09):
That?

Speaker 8 (23:09):
It's surreal?

Speaker 4 (23:12):
But this is a. This is the thing.

Speaker 3 (23:14):
This is the perfect example. You sign up for any contest,
you never know it could be you. It's Niche Robinson today. Nisa,
you hang on the line. Thank you so much for
listening to Kiss FM.

Speaker 7 (23:25):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (23:27):
Okay, you can explain to Ryan one day what this
whole means.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
They're just freaking out.

Speaker 3 (23:34):
I wish we made a camera s we could see
all the excitement, you know, all right, Nisa, hold on
one second.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
Okay, Okay.

Speaker 3 (23:44):
All you gotta do is play these contests. You never
know it could be you. That's one of those great
stories on air with R Haven't I seen somewhere that
they say, if you beware of anybody's name that starts
with A.

Speaker 4 (23:59):
Jake?

Speaker 2 (24:00):
Did that as a hack? Yeah, Jane and m I
mean it's very stereotypical.

Speaker 3 (24:04):
But the reason I bring that up is Mikayla from
the back room, who's going to come on here now,
is one of the few staff members that is still single,
has not found the love that Tanya has found to
brag about, and we're very excited for that coming up.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
Tany what happened? What was that looking for?

Speaker 1 (24:21):
Because I just noticed three of these guys' names start
with the Jake. We just said that. I didn't see
the names this whole time.

Speaker 3 (24:30):
All right, So there's Jake, there's Justin, there's Jack, there's Taylor,
but Mikayla.

Speaker 4 (24:34):
I guess your question is why do they chatting? Then vanish?

Speaker 1 (24:38):
Yeah, they'll ask me a question. I mean it's the
beginning of a conversation, so it's kind of like an
easy answer.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
They'll ask me how I'm doing, Alison?

Speaker 1 (24:45):
You know, I'm doing good, had a great weekend. How
how are you doing? And then nothing?

Speaker 2 (24:49):
What am I doing? Well, let's go through these in dissect.

Speaker 4 (24:52):
Okay, all right, who I'll be? Who's gonna be Mikayla, I'll.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
Be Jake, I'll be Mikaylain this one, all right?

Speaker 4 (24:57):
Who's how did this thing start? Tell me explain this?

Speaker 2 (25:00):
He liked her photo?

Speaker 4 (25:01):
Okay, so I liked your photo.

Speaker 2 (25:04):
Start a chat with Jake. That's the operator. That's Tanya.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
Start the chat with Jake. That's you, Jake.

Speaker 4 (25:14):
No, I'm okay. Hey how was your Monday? Ben?

Speaker 2 (25:18):
Hey, Monday was good. I've been visiting my fam with week,
so it's been nice. How's your week going there? That's fine?

Speaker 1 (25:32):
Impression?

Speaker 4 (25:34):
Yeah, all right. That was Jake's. Let's try Taylor. Here's
Taylor okay, but like photo.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
Start chat with Taylor.

Speaker 4 (25:42):
Hello with five o's how are you?

Speaker 2 (25:45):
Hey? I'm doing good, having a chill Monday. How's your
day going so far?

Speaker 3 (25:49):
Brilliant response, brilliant love it, having a chill day, not
too much, easy going, not to be interested. Perfect, He says,
that's good. It's been crazy moving my recordings too soon.
I'm trying to wrap up everything.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
Oh nice, where are you moving your recording studio? To blank?

Speaker 1 (26:08):
Danish?

Speaker 4 (26:09):
I almost feel like Taylor, goodbye.

Speaker 3 (26:11):
That's like too much information, Taylor and I only all
the stress if you tell me your life is too crazy.

Speaker 4 (26:15):
Next, let's start Justin. Here's Justin okay.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
Start chat with Justin.

Speaker 3 (26:21):
Hey, what's your top three favorite places you've traveled to?

Speaker 5 (26:25):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (26:26):
This is tough. London is one of my favorite places,
so that number one again? Type Oh, Paris has recently
earned a top spot, and probably Italy, how about you?

Speaker 3 (26:38):
I love London, studied abroad there, so it'll be special
to me. I have to go with Japan and Norway
for me.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
And then this is where I think Kayla kind of
loses him.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
She does three bubbles, like three.

Speaker 2 (26:50):
Different conversations in a row and name I studied abroad
in London and go back there every year. That was
the first one. And I've been to Tokyo and thought
it was one of the coolest places I've ever been to.
But we'll never go in the summer again. Way too hot,
loll And then here's another one, never been to Norway
but would love to. How's that?

Speaker 4 (27:13):
Orlish that?

Speaker 3 (27:14):
And then he leaves the chats over why why the
three different individual bubbles?

Speaker 1 (27:19):
I just felt like it was too long as one.

Speaker 3 (27:22):
I don't know, I just I mean, look, it's all
to all these guys, their loss. But any conversation I'm
realizing that starts just starts in general, can go the
wrong way. I mean, what is the right way to
do it? Just has to be the right person, not
really the right chat.

Speaker 1 (27:39):
You can't say the wrong thing to the right person.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
That's true, you can't.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
My first conversation, my first message on Hinge from Robbie
was like riddled with misspellings and wrote it No, that's
not true.

Speaker 2 (27:53):
That was all Kanya and I came in and fixed it,
fixed it.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
The message he said me was like riddled with grammar,
and like it was like, how are you this weekend?
I missed the stuff And so it's like you can't
say the wrong thing to the right person. These guys
are just not it.

Speaker 4 (28:07):
Don't don't lose sleep.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
Maybe you did nothing wrong.

Speaker 2 (28:09):
I thought maybe there was something with Justin because you
guys both studied abroad in London. I thought, all right, huh,
how is Paris?

Speaker 4 (28:16):
Where'd you go to Paris?

Speaker 1 (28:18):
Last year?

Speaker 2 (28:19):
We went to a wedding in London and then we.

Speaker 4 (28:21):
Just jumped on the train.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
Yep, yes, start went love.

Speaker 3 (28:25):
It's an underwater train, in case anybody was worried train. So,
La the home of the Olympics and the Paralympics coming
up in twenty twenty eight, and the Paralympic Games are
in Paris right now.

Speaker 4 (28:37):
It's a big story.

Speaker 3 (28:38):
Actually, this is a local story coming out of the
west side of La.

Speaker 4 (28:42):
Have you guys seen.

Speaker 3 (28:43):
Ezrafrec Ezrafrec, Yeah, maybe so he's from right here in La.
He just won gold in the one hundred meters and
the high jump, he said, a new high jump Paralympic record.
But the thing is he manifested it. He put it
out there. He basically said on social media one hundred

(29:03):
days from now, I'm going to win the gold nice.
He threw it out there with swagger, and he did,
and he won on day ninety nine. But he was
born without most of his left leg and that has
not slowed him down. He's here with us this morning,
right now, and I gotta tell you, Ezra, it's super
nice to meet you. Thank you for coming on, my friend.

Speaker 5 (29:25):
Thank you for having me very excited to be here.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
I gotta tell you, you got swagger, bro, you got
some innate swagger about you.

Speaker 4 (29:32):
Man that we love.

Speaker 5 (29:33):
I appreciate it coming from you.

Speaker 8 (29:35):
I appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (29:37):
Hey, congratulations just winning Golden one hundred meter and the
high jump set of a new record that is massive.
What goes through your body now when.

Speaker 4 (29:44):
You hear that?

Speaker 5 (29:46):
Pretty crazy? Honestly, still thinking in you know, there's definitely
a phase of processing before I realize that this is
actually real life. I definitely was going to bed a
few units in a row, pinching myself, saying, please let
this not just be a dream.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
I did something which manifested that, and you just set it.
You said it matter of factly. You planned to run
the one hundred meters and you plan to do all
this in one hundred days and win the gold. Do
you think that in a way really helped you get there?

Speaker 4 (30:14):
Absolutely?

Speaker 5 (30:15):
Absolutely. I think in order to accomplish anything great, you
must believe that you're capable of it first. And so
for me, when I was saying I'm going to win
Paralympic gold day whatever out of one hundred until I
win Paralympic goal, that was me just convincing myself that
I was capable of it, convincing myself that I was
a type of guy to go out there and win
Paralympic gold. And sure enough it.

Speaker 3 (30:32):
Worked out, and then you won the second goal in
less than twenty four hours.

Speaker 5 (30:36):
Yeah. Yeah. The first gold was a surprise goal. The
second one was what I was anticipating.

Speaker 7 (30:40):
So it was definitely tough.

Speaker 5 (30:42):
You know, win a gold and then have to refocus
and say, all right, I gotta forget that I got
to compete tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (30:47):
It's true.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
I mean, the freck who has just competed at the
Paralympics won a couple of golds.

Speaker 4 (30:52):
It's true.

Speaker 3 (30:52):
You almost have to be so we have to be
so strong anyway to mentally prepare for this, but to
compartmentalize and put that glory behind you to focus on
doing it again must have been very intense.

Speaker 5 (31:04):
Absolutely, it was so hard. I was laying in bed
at twelve am, thinking I have to put the phone down,
turn the phone on, do not disturb, not reply to
every message, not watch the video over.

Speaker 4 (31:14):
And over, and get.

Speaker 3 (31:18):
Right out of West La here in Los Angeles, our hometown. Guy,
I wanted to give you a second to you know,
I'm a big believer in philanthropy. I have a foundation
that builds studios, media centers, and pediatric hospitals around the country,
and I know that you've got a big focus on
philanthropy too.

Speaker 4 (31:33):
Tell me about your foundation. Absolutely.

Speaker 6 (31:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (31:36):
I have a nonprofit Angel City Sports and we do
adaptive sports for people with physical disabilities here in Los Angeles, California.
So anyone with the physical disability sports training, equipment, competitive opportunities.
There's a lot of barrier to entry for this community.
People don't realize. I mean, running blades are fifteen thousand dollars,
Racing wheelchairs, basketball wheelchairs so expensive, and our goal is

(31:58):
to break it all down and give this community access
to sport.

Speaker 3 (32:02):
It's really amazing, and how what's your mindset when you're
achieving these unbelievable things?

Speaker 4 (32:08):
What's it like? Every day?

Speaker 5 (32:10):
We had seventy plus family and friends that came all
the way out there to Paris, and a huge contingent
that was out there in the crowd supporting me. So
I felt the love and I thought, Man, if all
these people are coming halfway across the world for me,
let me give them a good memory.

Speaker 4 (32:23):
I got to deliver ez.

Speaker 3 (32:25):
Refrec right out of Los Angeles, making us proud as
a country and getting world wide headlines. Nice to meet you,
my friend. Continued success. Enjoy the golds.

Speaker 5 (32:36):
Absolutely, Thank you guys very much.

Speaker 4 (32:40):
What a cool dude.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
Huh yeah, he's literally the coolest and he's got that
swacker and just started his freshman year at USC.

Speaker 3 (32:48):
All right, we grabbed Dylan real fast. Here Dylan has
an issue at eight hundred and five two one to
two seven. Good morning, Dylan, How are you?

Speaker 8 (32:55):
I'm doing well?

Speaker 5 (32:56):
Sare?

Speaker 4 (32:57):
How can we help you about your girlfriend? What's the issue?

Speaker 8 (33:01):
All right? So me and my girlfriend moved in together.
I want to say, two years of dating, we finally
moved in together. Okay, and she moved into my place
with her dog, which I know she had a dog
all the time. That wasn't a surprise to me, but

(33:23):
I was always able to leave and I didn't want
to deal with it. So when the dog recently got
sick for some reason, because I'm not used to having
a house where I need to keep everything clean, I
leave stuff laying out. There was a pill laying out
and the dog took and ate the medication. So this

(33:44):
takes us to a whole new store running to the
emergency room. She's fine, just letting you guys know. But
it cost two thousand dollars to get her stomach pumped,
and she expects me to pay for half of the bill.
But it's her dog. That's the only thing that's bothering me.

(34:04):
It says, it says, it's our dogs. Now, that's what
she keeps trying to tell me. But I've had nothing
to do with this. We went out.

Speaker 4 (34:12):
Medicine was it?

Speaker 8 (34:14):
It was my medicine?

Speaker 2 (34:16):
Okay, why was it out?

Speaker 8 (34:19):
It was literally, I think, like an advil or something
like that. I've left it sitting on the couch before
I knew it. It turned around she was using it
as a chew toy, the medicine bottle.

Speaker 4 (34:31):
I mean, look, it's a big bill. Yeah, it's a
big bill.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
I do understand the our concept when you're with someone
you care for a pet together. I get that, and
at the same time, you're still with her though.

Speaker 8 (34:45):
Right, I am still with her. Yeah, but I'm just
caught on spending so much money when I'm just getting
used to moving in with her and her dog as well.
I'm not terrible pet owner, it's just this caught me
by surprise. This being this much costs them that much.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
Well, that is an expensive vet bill.

Speaker 6 (35:11):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (35:12):
My suggestion would be to have a real conversation about
what the expectations and the relationship are in general.

Speaker 4 (35:17):
But it sounds like, you.

Speaker 8 (35:18):
Know, we haven't done that. I agree, Well, there's.

Speaker 4 (35:21):
Some things that need to be cleaned up. If you
feel like this.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
Kind of thing is going to continue to happen, you
need to be clear with how it's going to be handled.
But I'm sure anybody would want to split that kind
of a bill.

Speaker 8 (35:34):
Yeah, that really just brought me a lot of perspectives.

Speaker 4 (35:39):
Yeah, I think I haven't.

Speaker 8 (35:40):
Want done that on the bill, But at the end
of the day, when it rains it pours or you
saved money for a rainy day. Okay, that's exactly what
I need right now.

Speaker 3 (35:50):
All right, Well, good luck having a conversation. But I
think I have some real clear conversations about expectations in
that relationship. Well, I get it, it's our pet. Let's
share this cost. It's out of nowhere. It's something that
provides us love and happiness.

Speaker 2 (36:03):
Makes sense, and he should just be willing to split it.
It sounds like it was kind of his fault.

Speaker 4 (36:08):
He made a lot of faces. I didn't hear anything
come out of your mouth. You've made a lot of
faces because.

Speaker 1 (36:12):
I don't know what you said that was so that
like really jolted him, but like you really gave him
this like light bulb moment.

Speaker 2 (36:18):
Then he was to get out of the room quick
while he doesn't even know.

Speaker 4 (36:21):
What it was.

Speaker 2 (36:23):
Like, Bye, okay, good good by, good one anytime into
that in a second.

Speaker 3 (36:28):
So, I mean, look, there's been all this talk in
the news about what if we as a culture went
to a four day work week, would we be even
more productive? I'm all for it, right, so fine, the
four day work week. Some companies are doing it. Some
California Congress people have proposed it, but the debate is
what day would be the best day off. Would it
be the Friday before the weekend, would it be the

(36:52):
Monday after the Sunday, or would it be midweek to
break it up ciciny.

Speaker 2 (36:57):
The midweek one kind of throws me off. But actually
I just I started Saveya on this preschool schedule, and
I think it's going to be really good for her.
She's doing Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays off, Thursday, Friday.

Speaker 3 (37:06):
The midweek for me just adds another Sunday, So I
say no time.

Speaker 1 (37:10):
Yeah, I'm not for it.

Speaker 2 (37:12):
For the working world, it's Friday. It's Friday for me,
all right.

Speaker 4 (37:16):
So it would be Friday not Monday.

Speaker 3 (37:17):
But think about the relief in Sunday not being Sunday
and being a Monday off.

Speaker 2 (37:22):
I can't get Whenever we have a Monday off, that
throws off my week because then I get back Tuesday
and I'm playing catch up from stuff that like I
should have done Monday, and I don't like it. Gig,
because it gets me.

Speaker 1 (37:31):
You would get adjusted. I think you would. You would
front load.

Speaker 4 (37:34):
You, Tony, What would you do?

Speaker 1 (37:37):
I would like Monday because to me Monday's like my
most where I'm like my let's go baby. So I
feel like I would be very I would get a
lot done on Monday.

Speaker 4 (37:47):
Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (37:48):
Be productive because of the super productive.

Speaker 5 (37:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (37:50):
I go back and forth on this because I like
the idea of Sunday never feeling like a Sunday because
Monday's off and Monday then begins feel like Sunday, but
Tuesday's already Wednesday.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
I always going to have that feeling whether it's Sunday
or Monday, you're gonna have that scary selling.

Speaker 3 (38:01):
Is the excitement of having the Friday off because it's
all ahead of you more appealing because then on Wednesday
it's Thursday and Thursday it's Friday.

Speaker 4 (38:10):
I mean that to me in my head is the
way I think I would.

Speaker 3 (38:13):
So I would vote after going back and forth on this, No, Wednesdays,
maybe Mondays, but I think for me, Fridays Fridays for sure,
or what's your final, Systey Fridays for sure?

Speaker 2 (38:23):
What's your Friday final?

Speaker 1 (38:24):
Monday?

Speaker 4 (38:25):
Okay, Well let's see what iHeart decides.

Speaker 2 (38:27):
Well they did, and they're not going to decide, but
they did a Reddit pull on this Friday did win
by forty seven percent.

Speaker 4 (38:33):
It's a mentality.

Speaker 3 (38:34):
It's a mentality. Now Tanya has some news here. It's
a training report. Katie Perry making headlines.

Speaker 1 (38:40):
Yeah, so we all know that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom.
They're happily together. They share their daughter, Daisy. But you
may have forgotten that they actually put a year long
pause on their relationship before they got engaged. So basically,
Orlando went off to this like retreat where you rewire
all your bad habits. He came back from this retreat
and he was no longer interested in playing along with

(39:02):
Katie's games. So it wasn't until she went and she
did this same retreat for herself that they got back together,
because clearly she stopped wanting to play this push and
pull game. And I put game in quotes because I
think a lot of people fall victim to this too.
They always want to play that cat and mouse, that
game of chasing something or being chased. I think that's

(39:24):
something that a lot of people can fall victim to
when they're dating. So Katie and Orlando went to this
like retreat or whatever. But I found that I was
able to recognize toxic dating habits through that book that
I did Calling in the one. It was like it
was that book that gives you homework every single night. Yeah,
but like instead of a retreat that I think is

(39:44):
more attainable because you disorder on Amazon, it comes your house.
But it really helps you identify your toxic dating patterns,
and I think that's crucial to breaking those habits. You know,
once you identify it, then you can start to break
that habit.

Speaker 3 (39:58):
So interesting the concept, and I know people do it
and have done it. It's possible to rewire your brain
and to go somewhere and have that rewired. I just
wonder what that process is like.

Speaker 1 (40:09):
But I think like identifying it is the number one
thing because people are often saying, you know, I don't
know what the problem is. I keep dating, I keep
doing this, And then when you start realizing those patterns
that you have, then you're you kind of have these
Eureka moments where you're like, oh my.

Speaker 2 (40:21):
Gosh, m M duh.

Speaker 3 (40:24):
Would you ever want to be rewired? Siciny, Yeah, and
that'd be cool, Tanya. Would you want to be rewired.

Speaker 1 (40:29):
Again and again and again?

Speaker 4 (40:31):
Yeah? Me too. Yeah, let's look this place up.

Speaker 1 (40:34):
No, I'm gonna do the book again.

Speaker 9 (40:36):
Okay, but you already called in the one I know,
but ye I call in the Onebie.

Speaker 1 (40:48):
Feel no, not not about but I think it helped me,
Like really, I know this sounds so bizarro, but I
feel like it was this really therapeutic book that helped
me kind of put more intention.

Speaker 2 (41:00):
Don't you just journal? It's like the same thing.

Speaker 1 (41:02):
It's not that it's so not the same thing. It's not.

Speaker 2 (41:06):
When is Robbie, I think when he sees this book out,
He's like, why are you calling.

Speaker 4 (41:12):
The one part too?

Speaker 2 (41:14):
Air on Air with Ryan Seacrest.

Speaker 3 (41:19):
All right, guys, I think we've exhausted everything today. We
are going to wrap it up for the morning show tomorrow.
We're back paying your bills every single hour. Did you
know that there is a correct order in which to
eat your food? This has to do with digestion and
weight loss, and there's a reason for all of it.
I know it, but I don't know it. Like I've
heard about this before. But I don't eat like that eat.

(41:41):
I eat whatever was on my plate, and I mix up.

Speaker 4 (41:42):
Things a lot.

Speaker 5 (41:43):
I do too.

Speaker 2 (41:44):
I love mixing. Every bite has a something. Every bite's
got some some some nuggets, so do that. Also tomorrow
Ryan's roses. Her dad was spotted with another woman and
it's not her mom.

Speaker 3 (41:55):
Tomorrow morning, her dad was spotted with another woman, not
our mom. Unfortunately, there's a lot more to it. We'll
get into that first thing, all right, Tanya, you have
a good photo shoot.

Speaker 1 (42:06):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (42:08):
Ciny have a great day in the office. Thank you
back room. We're waving goodbye and we'll be back with
the first thing tomorrow morning.

Speaker 4 (42:15):
Here Kiss FM, have a great Wednesday. Thanks for listening
to on air with Ryan Seacrest. Make sure to subscribe
