Speaker 1 (00:00):
I'll at two point seven Kiss FM Seacrest with you.
(00:03):
I didn't dress up for Kristin Davis this morning. I
just want you to know.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
I know that.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
So when you're watching this wherever it's going, this is
this is it. This is what you get. Same sweatsuit
for a couple of days, same hat, Christi Davis. Actually
is a brand new podcast, Are You a Charlotte? With
Kristin Davis on iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
I love the title. Can we bring her in?
Speaker 3 (00:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (00:26):
I think she is. I was totally a Charlotte. I
think I was a Samantha.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
But you should listen to this podcast and figure yourself
out there. She is Kristin Davis with a big smile
on her face.
Speaker 3 (00:43):
Smiles, smiles.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
Well, we're happy that we're talking to you. I know
we were scheduled to speak earlier, but you had to
evacuate your home as so many of us did as well.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
Yes, yes, we're in a hotel. We're safe, we're fine.
Just trying to keep the kids happy.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Yeah I understand. I don't understand. Actually I just have
a dog, but I'm trying to keep it.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
It's the same Ryan, come on, Yeah, it's more accomplished.
I mean maybe the dogs might be a little easier.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
You know, well once once I get there, I'll let
you know. Okay, okay, So but you obviously you've got
friends just like all of us who've been through this,
and I mean some of our dearest friends have lost
their homes completely.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Yeah, it's awful. It's awful. We actually almost lost our
home in the Getty fire, so we've been close to it.
But this obviously is really just so horrible. And I'm
just so thankful to the first responders, and I love
the la fd Foundation and I'm just always sending money
to them and just thankful. Doesn't come close.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Well, that is a great way to help out the firefighters,
just directly to that fund. I've actually asked them before,
directly what's the best thing to do, and that's what
they tell you exactly.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
That is good news. All right.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
Well, Shifting Gear is you are talking about something which
is very exciting for fans of a series.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
Are you nervous about this podcast?
Speaker 3 (02:09):
Yes, yes, I feel you know, I mean, it seemed
like a great idea to do this podcast. Are you
a Charlotte about you know, the show and the themes
of the show and how it lives on and my memories.
Then I went to record it and it's just it's
like so personal. I feel kind of, you know, like
(02:31):
very vulnerable about it.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Now, suddenly, that's great.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
That's what people want to hear. It's called are you
a Charlotte? Now for those who don't know what that means,
how would they how would they know if they're a
Charlotte or not?
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Oh wow, that's a good question. Okay, so back when.
I don't know when it started. But there's like a
quiz you can take, which I guess you should probably
find and post it. I want to know who you are?
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Okay, go ahead, what do I What do I answer?
Speaker 3 (02:59):
Well, there's a lot of questions and I don't even
know them. But I mean like, are you a Charlotte?
Do you believe in love?
Speaker 2 (03:05):
Oh? My gosh, so much? I've never been married.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
Okay, same, I'm with you. There, I'm with you. So
that's number one question for Charlotte's right. Do you believe
in love? Are you a hopeful person?
Speaker 1 (03:20):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (03:21):
I would say optimistic?
Speaker 3 (03:22):
Yes, yes, yes, you're an optimistic You're a Charlotte, I
think Charlotte. Do you love dogs?
Speaker 2 (03:27):
That's my girl? You.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
Let me tell everybody here back room, MICHAELA. Ruby, guess
what you're looking at? A Charlotte right here, Charlotte.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
We love.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
That's it's I mean, so many if you know that
we are, we are part of the team, the family
that is iHeart Radio. And they're so excited. We're so excited.
Fans are so excited for this. It feels like it's
been a long time coming.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
Thank you. That's so sweet.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
I mean, I feel like, you know, we've been doing
and just like that, so we've all together and kind
of it gives us a way to kind of look
back at the same time as moving forward. And I
think that's where I really liked about doing the podcast,
is it's a way to look back and say, like, hey,
are these themes of the shows, Like the first theme
of the of the pilot episode is can women have
(04:17):
like men? Super interesting to think about and talk about
now almost thirty years later, which.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Is so Greatow, I had to tell you, you know,
one of my memories growing was growing up because I
was an adult, but one of my memories going back
home to visit my parents was when Sex and the
City was on HBO. Right, yeah, thank you and my
mom wanted to watch it with me, and it was
one of those episodes like that, and thank god it's
(04:45):
not two hours long, because I loved it. But it
was very uncomfortable being with your mother in these situations
watching that show.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
For sure, and especially back then, like back then people
didn't go on the red carpet wearing like she he
threw dresses to journey like it was a different time.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
You know.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
But also, I mean, there were some there were some
There were some things where I'd be like, mom, please
do not watch this week.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
And I wasn't even watch.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
Please just skip it.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
But it was funny to learn that my mom was
sneaking it in herself, like she was getting in there
watching it.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Everybody was watching in the city.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
Kristin Davis is with us, so her podcast called Are
You a Charlotte with Kristin Davis and Ihet Radio wherever
get your podcast and just like that.
Speaker 2 (05:23):

on Max.
Speaker 3 (05:27):

but it's coming.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
It's coming, all right, So look for that. Well, Kristin,
it's so nice to have you on. Good luck with
getting back into your home that we appreciate that and
we can't wait to hear you're a Charlotte. Yeah, along
next and tell her I'm a Charlotte.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
She's here, what's coming?
Speaker 1 (05:49):
She's great, that's gonna be fun. What a lovely person.
She just gives like that great energy off.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
Doesn't she. I feel like she is Charlotte. It's almost
like she's like her character. Yes, I feel like I'm Charlotte. Now.
You just have to marry a Jewish man like you
might be a carry. I have to marry a jewish man.
Keep my Charlotte card, keep your Charlotte card.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
But you're rightisnety?
Speaker 2 (06:08):
I think he has a carry? What's a carry? Carry? Bradshaw? Yes,
I like shoes.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
Well, you like fashion, and you're always trying and you're fine,
you're trying to find the one.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
Very work focused. It's very work focused. It's labeling me
like I'm trying to find that.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
I'm labeling you only because we're playing a game right now,
Like your carry your Samantha, I'm Charlotte.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
