Speaker 1 (01:49):
And no, that's a lie. Wasn't those six weeks? So
the pillow's gonna come here three days before she's supposed
to deliver.
Speaker 8 (01:55):

Good morning Morgan, Good morning y'all.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
Happy Tuesday.
Speaker 11 (02:41):
Lots of stuff happened, you know since we last met,
so let me get into it. So, speaking on Fox News,
former President Donald Trump says he's not concerned with his
with who Vice President Kamala Harris is picking for her
VP running mate, should she be the nomination, and he
slammed the Biden Harris administration, saying they hurt the country.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Let's hear more from Trump Fox News.
Speaker 12 (03:02):
They have bad policies, forget about the people. They have
an open border policy, they have a high tax policy,
they have a bad military policy.
Speaker 7 (03:09):
The whole world is going woke.
Speaker 13 (03:11):
Their world is going woke.
Speaker 8 (03:13):
The Green News scam was spending all our money.
Speaker 12 (03:15):
On things that don't work. The whole thing is a mess.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (03:21):
So he went on to say that Biden's doctors gave him,
gave Biden great reports, though you could see he was
in decline just by watching him. And during the interview,
Trump also was joined by his VP pick Ohio Senator
JD Vance, who said, the Democrats think Biden can't handle
the campaign, then you know he can't handle the president presidency.
But you know he has obviously stepped down. I don't
(03:43):
know where they were yesterday. So they spoke about the assassin.
They also spoke about the assassination attempt, both men agreeing
that Trump was very lucky he wasn't hurt. More, adding
someone needs to be held responsible for the slow reaction
time from authorities. Let's hear more from excuse me, sorry,
I was gonna say, let's hear more from jd Vance,
(04:03):
but he didn't speak on that. Okay, So Trump says
he was he received. Oh yeah, let's hear more from Trump.
Speaker 12 (04:08):
On secret Service, they had a policeman that actually saw
the man with a gun, and you would have thought
that that would have been conveyed to other people. So
there were some there was some mistakes, but I can
tell you this just to go on the more positive side.
The people on the stage were unbelievable and brave that
they were all Secret Service that came running up and
there were a lot of there was a lot of blood,
(04:29):
but I understood they thought I'd I.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Was hit elsewhere.
Speaker 12 (04:32):
I thought they thought I was hit actually in this
area and I was. I said, I'm telling you, I'm okay,
I'm fine. I'm gonna get up. I want to get up.
I'm not gonna be taken out on the stretcher.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
We had a little argument.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Yeah, so Trump go ahead.
Speaker 8 (04:48):
Now, I'm gonna say, if Trump is back in the
White House, he's definitely gonna get rid of the Secret Service.
He's gonna get ready to see the Service bringing his own,
you know, uh, private private troops. That'll be his version
of the the ss SSN, and that'll grow to be
like a private army.
Speaker 13 (05:04):
Right.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
You know what.
Speaker 11 (05:05):
At this rate, everybody's calling for at least the director
to resign. The lawmakers they definitely grilled Secret Service Director
Kimberly Cheto yesterday following that assassination.
Speaker 8 (05:16):
Yes, they did, just been like, man, just fire me.
Already watched her they should have fired you.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Was ducking back right, okay.
Speaker 11 (05:23):
So House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said the Secret
Service has become the face of incompetence. He said the
agency failed to protect Trump and the rally goers in
Pennsylvania and said no real answers have been given. Let's
hear more from uh Comer.
Speaker 14 (05:38):
Americans demand answers, but they have not been getting them
from the Secret Service. We are instead learning about new
facts about the events surrounding the attempted assassination every day
from whistleblowers and leaked So.
Speaker 11 (05:56):
Again, Kimberly Chetles, she spoke about the assassination attempt in
her opening statement.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Let's hear what she said her comments.
Speaker 15 (06:03):
She thinks about the assassination attempt of former President Donald
Trump on July thirteenth is the most significant operational.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
Failure of the Secret Service in decades.
Speaker 15 (06:13):
We must learn what happened, and I will move heaven
and earth to ensure that an incident like July thirteenth
does not happen again. Let me stay unequivocally nothing I
have said should be interpreted to place blame for this
failure on our federal, state or local law enforcement partners
who supported the Secret Service in Butler.
Speaker 8 (06:35):
They all up, Yeah, there really is no excuse for
what happened.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
She only has one job.
Speaker 8 (06:41):
They only have one job, the Secret Service, and you
know it's one of those jobs where you don't get
to make a mistake because that mistake could have cost
the former president their life.
Speaker 7 (06:48):
It wasn't even thrown out and plannet, why were we
keep you here?
Speaker 1 (06:50):
An echo?
Speaker 10 (06:51):
But it wasn't even throw it out and planned. The
man just came there with his rifle. People seen here
daylight kind of roof, they seen him due to all
me crawl like they've seen everything.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
Yeah, somebody gotta get fired a media.
Speaker 11 (07:04):
Yeah, I was gonna say there's been times up into
the White House and the Secret Service saw a beasting me.
So I don't want to hear it, like I don't
want to hear anyways. She did resist calls to step down.
I mean, lawmakers on both sides of the isle are
like girl by So yeah.
Speaker 8 (07:18):
I kept seeing that they're giving her the option to resign,
but she won't. She won't want to resign to what
she want to get fired.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
She better resign.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
That's that's probably what's going to happen. He wants to.
Speaker 8 (07:27):
Move and the congress woman from South Carolina and Nancy
makes Nancy Mace told us she was Fullishncy.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
Nacy told us she was fullish. She ain't lying though
Nancy didn't lie.
Speaker 11 (07:42):
So in a quick sports story, NBA legend Lebron James
will be the Team US a flag bearer in the
opening ceremony for the Summer Olympics on uh Friday in Parents.
James will be the first men's basketball player to carry
the flag and it's his fourth Olympics. He says it's
an incredible honor to represent the United States on the
global stage. Team USA's female flag bear will be announced today.
(08:04):
They're getting they're gearing up to play Serbia first on Sundays.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
Leron's been hooping.
Speaker 10 (08:08):
To man, he's been hooping like he's been the best
on the team in the last couple of games.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
So he's been hooping.
Speaker 10 (08:13):
I think they were down by nineteen one game, and
they were down by seven another game, and in both games,
Lebron's pretty much going back.
Speaker 8 (08:19):
That sounds ridiculous to say that sounds like fish be swimming,
bird flying.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
Yeah, Lebron, he's time. But he's been doing it for
twenty years.
Speaker 10 (08:29):
But he's the oldest on the team. He's thirty nine
years old. With all those young legs and all those superstars,
you would figure that they would step up, But it's
been Lebron.
Speaker 8 (08:36):
It's been holding up watching the NBA for twenty years,
I have Yeah, Lebron ain't went nowhere. Yeah, like, that's
not a surprise.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
It is James, it is.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
It is a pro it's a surprise to you that
Lebron James is bawling at.
Speaker 7 (08:49):
Thirty nine, forty years old, with all that young talent
on the team.
Speaker 8 (08:52):
Have you to watching in the league for the last
twenty years, when has Lebron declined?
Speaker 10 (08:57):
He hasn't been leading the league though leading it in
what points? Hasn't not in the last what four or
five years? He hasn't been the highest point scoring in
the last.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
Sixty the all time leading scorer.
Speaker 10 (09:10):
Ever, he's thirty nine years old and you got all
those young legs. You would have think that some of
those young legs would be out there balling.
Speaker 8 (09:16):
I ain't seen nobody do that to Lebron yet.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
Now he's in balling all right.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
I love this barber shop answer.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
This is great.
Speaker 10 (09:25):
Well, that is front page news. Get it off your
chest eight hundred five eight five one oh five one.
If you need to vent, phone line to wide open again.
Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
It's a new day.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
Is your time to get it off your chest? Wake up.
Whether you're mad or blood some get up and get something.
Call up now. Eight hundred five eight five one o
five one. We want to hear from you on the
Breakfast Club. Hello, who's this? What's up?
Speaker 4 (09:57):
Brother?
Speaker 1 (09:57):
Get off your chest?
Speaker 4 (09:59):
Listen. I appreciate what the Olympic basketball team is doing. Look,
crash gardage. How y'all supposed to be the best in
the world. Y'all lose by it? Man, I've been winning.
Boy like that said, Boy, that don't make no sense
to me.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
Well, the rest of the world doesn't call us. How
old are you?
Speaker 4 (10:16):
Listen, the best of the world's supposed to be winning about
forty fifty set the boys.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
No, but that's all we're all.
Speaker 8 (10:21):
We grew up on the Dream Team when America had
had all the best ball players.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
So you know, the dream team. Michael Jordan and Mattie Johnson.
Speaker 8 (10:28):
They went out there and was blowing people out forty
fifty the rest of the world donet caught up, bro.
Speaker 4 (10:34):
True, this is true, Charlie Man, I give you credit
what credit too, But for Lebron to be with you
still need you still need to show these boys to
step up. Come on, man, I just.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
Think he's crazy.
Speaker 10 (10:44):
Bron the league that long, the man forty years old
and he's still scoring the most points.
Speaker 7 (10:50):
He still got the most minutes on it, on that team.
Speaker 4 (10:54):
Cool and his team makes you be the same way
he feels you jokes just want a free ride.
Speaker 13 (10:59):
Didn't you over the vacation?
Speaker 7 (11:01):
Didn Joel and b say something about Lebron's a's the
other day?
Speaker 2 (11:04):
That what I said?
Speaker 7 (11:04):
Didn't Joel andb say something about Lebron's a's the other day?
Speaker 4 (11:08):
Yeah? What Joe lab to step up to? He got
it too? Crazy?
Speaker 1 (11:13):
Thank you? Brother?
Speaker 4 (11:14):
Are you? How are you a big center? You gone?
But love? Y'all? Y'all what y'all doing?
Speaker 1 (11:20):
All right?
Speaker 16 (11:20):
Brother?
Speaker 1 (11:21):
Hello? Who's this?
Speaker 4 (11:22):
This job?
Speaker 15 (11:23):
From?
Speaker 1 (11:24):
What's up? John?
Speaker 2 (11:25):
What's good?
Speaker 17 (11:26):
I'm not y'all disrespect that Bron like that?
Speaker 18 (11:30):
If it was you are Dams Charlotte Mane.
Speaker 17 (11:33):
But nobody on that team.
Speaker 18 (11:36):
They beat Broun all one, so of course you're gonna
put them on the back.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
Oh, I believe that. I was shocked.
Speaker 8 (11:41):
I'm like Lebron. I have not seen Lebron fall off
in twenty years. Lebron has had no decline in his
game whatsoever. Nobody disrespected Bron. I just said, I'm surprised
that other players on the team haven't stepped it up.
The fact that Lebron is forty years old and still
has the most minutes on it on the Olympic team,
with all that talent on it is surprising to me.
Not to me, when I look at the you got
Steph Curry, you got Devin Booker, you got Joel Embiid,
(12:03):
you got Bam, you got Anthony Davis, you got Anthony Edwards,
you got Jason Tatum. Once again, when I look at
the roster, there's nobody on that team. I think it's
more durable than Lebron. James has the type of longevity
Lebron has had. Stephan would be my one b That's
about it. Jason Tatum, Anthony that was no not to
compare to Lebron. James I'm nobody's comparing them. Anthony Young,
(12:24):
Anthony Anthony Young like he had to. And you know,
I watched something a few weeks ago during the playoffs
that made a lot of sense. You know what Michael
Jordan used to get eliminated from the playoffs?
Speaker 1 (12:33):
It was during it.
Speaker 8 (12:33):
It was actually when the Timbers was in the West
Coms Finals, because you could tell that team had gotten
tired and they were saying how Michael Jordan's started practicing
even when they got eliminated from the playoffs. He would
keep playing practice games like they were professional all through July,
so his body would be conditioned to go deep in
the playoffs. So somebody like Lebron, he's been doing that
for twenty years.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
Hello, who's this? What's up?
Speaker 19 (12:55):
Trap?
Speaker 2 (12:59):
What's that?
Speaker 4 (13:00):
Charler Maine?
Speaker 20 (13:01):
How you it's still a bad this birthday Star?
Speaker 13 (13:04):
I ain't get the call in last week, but you
know it's still my birthday and I want my birthday
sign out.
Speaker 4 (13:09):
Dropping it pum bonds for me.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
It's actually not your birthday.
Speaker 8 (13:12):
It's definitely not your birthday. It's still cancer season. It's
not your birthday.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
And shouted you out three times already.
Speaker 13 (13:17):
It is my birthday month, the whole month, even though
the doublemens tried.
Speaker 4 (13:20):
Me this much during my birthday month.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
What they trying to do? What are they trying to do?
Make to make the polity that you don't want them
to make?
Speaker 4 (13:28):
I said the double.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
It's oh, I thought you said the government.
Speaker 7 (13:30):
He did say the government.
Speaker 4 (13:32):
I said the double.
Speaker 13 (13:33):
I said the double was trying me out here, bro.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
With two guys trying to run. What you mean the double?
Not double double man, the devil, the double luciferger Oh, bro,
what is wrong with your mouth this morning? Jesus?
Speaker 2 (13:49):
What is wrong with your is not double?
Speaker 4 (13:51):
It isn't wrong with your.
Speaker 10 (13:54):
Oh my goodness, get it off your chest eight hundredk
five eighty five one oh five and if you need
to vent, hit it and happy birthday trive all right.
Speaker 21 (14:01):
It's the breakfast level the morning, the breakfast club. This
is your time to get it off your chest. Eight
hundred five eight five one five one. We want to
hear from you on the breakfast club.
Speaker 1 (14:18):

Speaker 13 (14:19):

bit of envy and Charlamagne trickled onto your baby because
of your last month with that.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
That's not true. No, that's not true at all.
Speaker 7 (14:45):
She has a whole little bit of their personality.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
How y'all, y'all think we don't be around nobody else
with each other.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
Except instead of Charlamagne.
Speaker 4 (14:54):
But I love y'all, But I do want to say this.
Speaker 8 (14:57):
I want my hood Club family to bring kamalo one
and to have pulled her for the fire, to bring
some site of black agenda.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
Bro, you need to go back here.
Speaker 8 (15:08):
You need to go back and watch old Breakfast Club
interviews with Kamala Harris. There's never been a time Kamala
Harris has been on Breakfast Club and not talked about
her black agenda.
Speaker 13 (15:16):
Never.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
She's been up here twice. No, No, she's been up
here three times. Three times.
Speaker 8 (15:20):
Yeah, and I and I've interviewed her on my TV
show when I had my TV show.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
I can't even remember the name of it now, that
was the name of it, that's right, that's a flex.
Speaker 22 (15:29):
No.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
I was like, get out over a couple. Oh the
gods on is true.
Speaker 8 (15:34):
So so there's never been a time, lovey, that Kamala
has been up here, and we haven't spoken about the
black agenda.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
Yeah, but I'm ever and I'm.
Speaker 7 (15:42):
Sure she'll be up here when it's sounds Hello, who's this?
Speaker 1 (15:45):
Yes, shir Ja, what's up? J a Hey?
Speaker 16 (15:49):
Fun fact, good morning, breakfast club, my four thirty am
workout crew. We made a little bit to see how
often I could call you guys and see how often
I could get through. So since the beginning of June,
I've called you guys every week on the first try
and got through. So this is like my tenth time
calling you guys. I haven't even recognized, so I've been
winning that beat. Secondly, my family's good best friends are
(16:10):
good friends, good, everything's good. So I just kind of
reminds you, Hey, yeah, I don't recognize it, but my

Speaker 2 (16:19):

Speaker 10 (16:28):

Speaker 2 (18:00):
He is a claud Yo.
Speaker 9 (18:01):
He also had surgeries on his shoulder and knee. Years later,

James on the Miami Heat, and he went to the
NBA Finals four times consecutively, went in back to back
titles in twenty twenty twelve in twenty thirteen.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
Those seasons, but this we he said about MJ on
the podcast.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
They don't understand my game, right, Like you don't know
what I did. I did. I did so many different things,
and I play so many different roles.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
And so that's one of the reasons why I don't
get I'm not the greatest shooter of all time, not
the greaterst this, but I was great at so many
different things, and so I learned how to be great
at all these things.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
And no one knows how to really break down my game.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
Yeah, I mean when I had it, I had it,
I thought I was I thought I was gonna be
before injuries.
Speaker 1 (18:48):
I'm like, MJ I'm coming for you. No, I mean
that's my mentality.
Speaker 8 (18:53):
Well, first of all, Saluta, Carmelo, Anthony and Kim Merrow
with their podcast dropping the clue bombs for them seventy
years different. I mean, Dwayne Wade is the third greatest
shooting guard of all time. Like it's Michael Jordan, it's
Kobe Bryant, then it's it's Dwayne Wade.
Speaker 24 (19:09):
You know.
Speaker 8 (19:09):
It's just when you hear somebody say, you know, getting
close to Michael Jordan, it's just like we gotta stop
chasing ghosts.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
But yes, that's his mentality should be that.
Speaker 9 (19:22):
Yeah, Yeah, that's what I would say, is about his mentality.
I mean, because that's who else you're gonna pay yourself to.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
He's the ball. Michael is the ball.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Yep, yep, yep. He also spoke on his time playing
with Lebron.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
Was it tough as hell?
Speaker 3 (19:35):
Yeah, it was tough, but also too, I think I
was the perfect person to play that role, and an't
a lot of people that could play that role. Bron
is an amazing player, but you got to learn you
gotta work around him and to work with him. As
you've seen my first the first years we were together,
we did everything together. We did every interview together, every
press conference. Every time you see him, you seen me.
Because we had to be so locked step and nobody
(19:57):
wanted it. My team didn't want it. My family didn't
want they were pissed. Brown team didn't want it. No
one wanted that to happen. The game of basketball did
wanted to happen. So I made sure I linked myself
with Brian even more because I knew we had to
be so tight or it was going to be a failure.
Speaker 8 (20:13):
Yeah, when it comes to that Miami Heat big three,
Dwayne Wade definitely took the biggest sacrifice.
Speaker 1 (20:17):
I always felt that way.
Speaker 8 (20:19):
You know, Dwayne Wade neumb won the league MVP and
you think about it, Nope, Then he had a couple
of that that that O eight.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
Oh nine season, that nine twenty ten season, Wade was
the guy.
Speaker 9 (20:32):
Yeah, and now he about to drop a nail polished
line like a all right, So Chris Brown, Chris Brown
and Yellow Beasy is being sued. So Chris Brown is
being sued for fifty million after an incident that allegedly
took place backstage on its concerts last Friday in Texas.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
Actually, four men filed the lawsuit.
Speaker 9 (20:54):
And their names are Larry Parker, Joeish I Mean, Joseph Lewis,
Charles Bush, The Marcus Pole Live Nation, and Yellow.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
Beezy are also being sued.
Speaker 9 (21:03):
The men were allegedly invited backstage to meet Chris Brown
at his eleven eleven Towards stop in Fort Worth. They
said Chris Brown showed up thirty minutes late, later than
they expected. Charles Bush claims he approached Chris Brown to
congratulate him on the show, but he went up to
Chris Brown and someone from Chris brown entourage reminded Chris
Brown that they were beefing with Charles Bush in the past.
(21:24):
Lord Jesus, he alleged. He alleged that Chris Brown said, oh, yeah,
we were, what's up? I don't forget Ish, but you did, because.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
He reminded that that's your office for Larrys like.
Speaker 2 (21:40):
Yo, come on.
Speaker 9 (21:42):
He then claims that Chris Brown and seven to ten
members of his entourage, including Yellow Beezy jumped him. Larry
Parker claims Chris Brown and his entourage turned their attention
to him.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
He said he tried to escape down the stairs but
was stopped at the lock door.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
He you're getting beat up and you're getting jumped, and
you running the door lock. God deserved this, my god.
Speaker 9 (22:07):
He alleged that he was beat up for over ten minutes. No,
he yes, ten minutes, like it was over there.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
That's like four rounds.
Speaker 9 (22:15):
Absolutely just bunk bunk bunk. Documents state that, I mean
not this man's pain. Documents state that all plantifs were
injured and are currently undergoing medical treatment. They're seeking fifty
million in damages for monetary losses, pain and suffering, disfigurement.
Speaker 2 (22:34):
Oh my god. Disfigurement me like he rearranged somebody's face.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Yeah, like put his nose on his ear, put his
ee on his mouth.
Speaker 9 (22:39):
Oh my gosh, mental anguish and past, present and future
medical expenses.
Speaker 1 (22:45):
This is horrible.
Speaker 2 (22:48):
Okay.
Speaker 9 (22:48):
Representatives for Brown, Breezy and Live Nation have not come
in it on the lawsuit yet.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
This is yeah. But if it was that.
Speaker 10 (22:56):
Bad, how come I I wonder how come there was
no criminal charges? How come nobody was arrested, and why
they go straight to civil and I know it's not
I haven't seen anybody getting arrested got arrested.
Speaker 8 (23:07):
By the way, the way you started this story off,
I'm sitting there thinking why all these girling afs men
wanted to go have a meet and greet with Chris Brown?
Because you know, whenever you hear meet and greet, I'm
thinking about girls getting held up in the air.
Speaker 4 (23:17):
Like why.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
I'm like, guys can pay for the meeting?
Speaker 2 (23:20):
Can guys?
Speaker 7 (23:20):
The guys have been doing it too.
Speaker 10 (23:21):
They like wearing poses and like, yeah, definitely what you mean,
wear poses like they do, like like back to back
poses like a poke mom, like a Pokemon poles or
something like that.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
They do pos.
Speaker 10 (23:33):
And another thing, if we have beef, if we don't
like each other, why are you coming backstage to see me?
Speaker 1 (23:37):
He didn't know, but but the gentleman knew, James Putler,
I'll tell you something that'd be the favorite, that'd be
the best.
Speaker 8 (23:44):
Right when somebody done forgot something they done did, then
they think it's years later and they think you forgotten.
Speaker 9 (23:49):
Man, But why would the guy from the answer you
got a problem with him? Remember Oh yeah, I don't
forget nothing.
Speaker 1 (23:58):
Boy, These like that sometimes be like what you never
stain remembered? That a word?
Speaker 2 (24:04):
That's right?
Speaker 1 (24:05):
And where the video app everything else on video tape?
Speaker 8 (24:08):
If Chris Brown all these dudes, I'm not jump somebody.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
Wouldn't it be on video or something backstage.
Speaker 10 (24:14):
At a show if it's that many people, somebody, if
you got beat up for over ten minutes, somebody had
to pull out.
Speaker 8 (24:20):
Their phone ten minutes, and it ain't no Chris Brown
fighting for ten minutes, and ain't nobody pull out their phone?
Speaker 10 (24:25):
Come on, now, any law enforcement would have loved to
rest people in that in that show, would say that
they arrested Chris Brown.
Speaker 1 (24:31):
So it just seems like this don't sound right now.
I don't know.
Speaker 8 (24:34):
I don't know who's telling the truth, who's not telling true.
I'm just simply saying, just don't sound right, okay.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
And I'll be like, yo, and you tired? How you
beat me up at ten minutes and you just go off?
Speaker 1 (24:44):
And why is the door locked? That was the only door,
that's the only door. You just happened to pick the
lock one. Oh my lord, have mercy. That's just for
the mester for this hour.
Speaker 7 (24:55):
All right, thank you.
Speaker 10 (24:57):
Yes, when we come back, we got front page news.
Morgan will be joining us. That don't go Anywhere's to
breakfast Local Morning.
Speaker 24 (25:04):
Porning.
Speaker 10 (25:05):
Everybody is DJ Envy Jess, hilarious, Chelaman the guy.
Speaker 7 (25:08):
We are to breakfast club. Let's get in some front
page news.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
What's up Morgan?
Speaker 11 (25:12):
So Vice President Kamala Harris appeared on her first on
camera events as the announcement. She was at the campaign
headquarters in Delaware, where she laid out her experience as
a California Attorney general and courtroom prosecutor.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
Let's hear more from BP Harris and Delaware.
Speaker 25 (25:27):
In those roles, I took on perpetrators of all kinds,
creditors who abused women, fraudsters who ripped off consumers, cheeters
who broke the rules.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
For their own game.
Speaker 26 (25:41):
So hear me when I say I know Donald Trump's type.
So in the next one hundred and six days, we
have work to do.
Speaker 25 (25:50):
We have doors to knock on, we have people to
talk to, we have phone calls to.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
Make, and we have an election to win.
Speaker 1 (25:58):
Hey man, they are no show of bets and an election.
But I'll tell you one thing.
Speaker 8 (26:01):
Styles make fights, and I think Kamala has his tailor
maid to go up against this particular opponent. If you're
talking about a woman, you know who can really speak
the Roe v. Wade being abolish. She can speak the
woman's reproductive rights being taken away in a way that
men can't. You know, she's a prosecutor who's running for
president against a recently convicted felon.
Speaker 11 (26:21):
It feels right, yeah, So she told her staff she
will gladly put her record as a prosecutor against Trump's
record as a criminal. She know that Trump has been
found liable in a sexual assault case and sound guilty
of thirty four counts of falsifying business records. During the event,
she was on speakerphone with President Biden, who said leaving
the twenty twenty four race was the right thing to do.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
Let's hear more from Biden.
Speaker 27 (26:44):
I know yesterday's news is surprising and treated hear, but
it was the right thing to do. So I'm hoping
you'll give every bit of your heart and soul that
you gave to me to come on. You know, the
name has changed the top of the ticket, but the
mission hasn't changed at all.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
And by the way, I'm not going here.
Speaker 27 (27:02):
I'm going to be out there in the campaign with her,
but coma, I'm going to be working like cal.
Speaker 8 (27:07):
I'm gonna be hout with you. I listened to that
phone call yesterday and I felt like he still gave that.
Speaker 1 (27:10):
Whole room COVID like I could deal the COVID coming.
It just felt like, like, oh, it was like, oh,
I'm glad we heard his voice there, but I was.
Speaker 10 (27:17):
I was kind of nervous though at first when he
released his statement and it wasn't a press conference and
he's been pretty quiet and just putting things on Twitter.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
I was kind of happy to hear his voice.
Speaker 2 (27:26):
Well, here's the reality of it.
Speaker 11 (27:28):
If we saw him on camera, if we saw him
doing any public events, then the people would eat him
up and say he's a.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
Super spreader, senior super spreader.
Speaker 25 (27:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (27:38):
So Biden also thanked his campaign staff and his family
for his time. It was the first time the country
had heard from Biden since his exit and the first
time Harris spoke publicly about the twenty twenty four race.
Speaker 1 (27:48):
Now.
Speaker 11 (27:48):
During the call VP Harris, she did praise President Biden
for his time, adding that he's not done and there's
still more work to do.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
Let's hear more from him. Vice President Harris on Biden
for first.
Speaker 26 (27:59):
Hand witness, from being with him in the Oval Office
to the situation room and seeing him on the global
stage with world leaders. President Joe Biden fights for the
American people and we are deeply, deeply grateful for his service.
Speaker 2 (28:15):
To our nation. She's such a class act.
Speaker 11 (28:18):
So on Monday, she did actually, she already has secured
enough delegate votes to receive the official Democratic presidential nomination,
although I believe that doesn't officially happen until the DNC
next month. But she received over nine hundred delegate endorsements.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and other Democrats like Senate
(28:39):
Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. They will meet with Harris this
week as she kicks off her campaign trail. He did
not endorse her, but he did speak highly of her,
and he also praised President Biden for his decades of service.
Speaker 2 (28:50):
Let's hear more from Hakeen Jeffries.
Speaker 5 (28:52):
Kamala Harris has excited the community, she's excited the House
Democratic CAUK, and she's exciting the country. And so I'm
looking forward to sitting down with her in person in
short order with Leader Schumer, and we'll have more to
say about the path forward as soon as that meeting.
(29:14):
President Biden is going to continue to do his job,
and he's put the country first. He's put the American
people first. He's put hard working American taxpayers first, which
is what President Biden has always done.
Speaker 8 (29:30):
And it's also interesting that you know, her campaign raised
eighty one million dollars in the first twenty four hours
of her candidacy, and it's like, I think it was
over eight hundred and eighty eight thousand grassroots donors contributed
in those twenty four hours. So you know, you can
look on the internet and see, you know, people saying
whatever they want to say about Kamala, But what would
(29:50):
you rather have real life with the internet, because you
got everybody got an opinion online, but then in real
life you got damned there a million people who've.
Speaker 11 (29:58):
Donated over eighty one one million dollars to it, dumping
on zoom calls here and there to donate money to
her campaign.
Speaker 1 (30:04):
It's true, So what would you rather have?
Speaker 8 (30:06):
That's all I'm saying, you know what I mean, Like,
that's why I don't be paying no attention to in
that whatever the Internet is on, do the opposite.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
You know what I like, good old American football. That's
what I like.
Speaker 11 (30:15):
In the NFL teams across the league right now, they're
starting to report for training camp. The upcoming season is approaching,
so rookies began reporting earlier this month, and some teams
are fully reporting last week. But most teams will have
their players and training camp today, while some will wait
till tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
And out of twenty twenty four Pro.
Speaker 11 (30:33):
Football Hall of Fame game takes place on August first,
so mark your calendars for that first preseason game of
the year, and the season, excuse me, will officially kick
off on September fifth and Kansas City when the Chiefs
Super Bowl winning Championship Chiefs take on my Baltimore Ravens
and they ro to Redemption Ravens.
Speaker 2 (30:55):
Let's go one of mine.
Speaker 10 (30:56):
Now, this is Morgan, Jessica, jess This is where Charlamagne's
says his Cowboys are gonna win.
Speaker 1 (31:01):
Go the new I'm only applauding because this is the year. Baby.
Speaker 8 (31:08):
I've heard my Dallas Cowboys go to the Super Bowl
that for fifteen years.
Speaker 11 (31:13):
Let's go baby, you know That's why I'm a Reformed
Commander's fan.
Speaker 2 (31:17):
Charlotemagne. We do that every year too.
Speaker 1 (31:19):
Ah, you jumped the ship. I'm sure did.
Speaker 2 (31:23):
What you can commit to a name, how I'm supposed
to commit to a team?
Speaker 28 (31:26):
Wow?
Speaker 8 (31:26):
Wow, I've been committed to Dallas Cowboys since birth. I
ain't got no other choice.
Speaker 2 (31:31):
Committed to delusion, I get it. That's your front page news.
Speaker 11 (31:36):
Follow you on, yes, follow me on socials at Morgan Media,
and continue to check out our news coverage at Black
Information Network and bi nnews dot com.
Speaker 1 (31:44):
Yeah, like an eighties Yeah, to check it out the news. Yeah, yeah,
alright later Morgan.
Speaker 10 (31:58):
All right, now, when we come back eight undrink five
eight five one oh five one, let's.
Speaker 8 (32:02):
Talk Kamala harris Man, because you know, Joe Biden did
step down on Sunday, and you know, it seems like
things have been full steam ahead since then. She's raised
eighty one million dollars over eight hundred and eighty eight thousand,
you know, grassrooms, small donors, that's right, you know, So
it feels like there's a lot of energy around her.
I want to know what our listening to think. We
ain't ask our listeners all week. I mean it's only Tuesday, but.
Speaker 7 (32:24):
Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one.
Speaker 10 (32:26):
Now that Biden is dropped out and it seems like
Kamala is taking over, what are your thoughts?
Speaker 1 (32:31):
Are you energized? Let's discuss it.
Speaker 8 (32:33):
She don't have the nomination yet, but I'm just saying,
are you if she does get it, are you energized
just about the process.
Speaker 1 (32:38):
I'm not here to tell you who to vote for this?
Are you energized about her? Right right?
Speaker 7 (32:42):
Let's discuss this's the breakfast cluffoing morning, the Breakfast Club.
Speaker 6 (32:51):
It's topic time called eight hundred five eight five, one
oh five one to join into the discussion with the
breakfast Club.
Speaker 10 (33:00):
Everybody is stej Envy, Jess, LARRYS. Charlamagne the guy. We
are the Breakfast Club. If you're just joining us with
open up the phone lines eight hundred and five eighty five,
one oh five one.
Speaker 7 (33:09):
We reported yesterday that Biden has dropped out of the race.
Speaker 8 (33:14):
Sunday, he did drop out of the race, and you know,
he endorsed the you know, Vice President Kamala Harris to
be the next president of the United States of America.
Speaker 1 (33:23):
The nomination.
Speaker 8 (33:25):
She's not the official Democratic nominee yet, but it seems
to be a lot of energy around her.
Speaker 1 (33:30):
You know what I'm saying? She raised what over eighty
plus million dollars in twenty four hours?
Speaker 8 (33:34):
I think I saw the number was eight hundred and
eighty eight thousand, almost a million people.
Speaker 10 (33:39):
You know, don't it sounds because the Daily News right
now it says Harris raised two hundred and thirty one
million in twenty four hours and says she claimed the
studying two hundred thirty one million raised from small and
big donating big donors for our first twenty four hours
since she launched her presidential campaign.
Speaker 1 (33:52):
Hey listen, probably, I mean that money has been rolling in.
Speaker 8 (33:56):
But my point is, like, you know, you can look
online and you know, of course she has a lot
of support, but then of course she has a lot
of hate, just like anybody else everybody.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
That's just the way the world is. But then you
see all of those donations rolling in.
Speaker 8 (34:09):
My point is there's a whole lot of energy around her.
So I just want to see how I listen to feel.
How do you feel, Jess, Because I know you don't
give a damn about politics either way, but Kamala did
do you a beautiful video when you first joined the
Breakfast Club.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
I'm talking about like she sure did, and she did
not have.
Speaker 1 (34:23):
To play that real quick.
Speaker 22 (34:24):
Eddie's hilarious.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
It's Kamala Harris.
Speaker 26 (34:27):
Congratulations on joining the Breakfast Club.
Speaker 2 (34:29):
I know you're going to be great.
Speaker 25 (34:31):
Your voice is so important.
Speaker 26 (34:32):
Have fun with Charlemagne and DJ Envy, and thank you
all for being such an important place for so many reasons.
Speaker 29 (34:39):
Take care.
Speaker 1 (34:40):
You ain't had to do that.
Speaker 2 (34:41):
Amazing.
Speaker 9 (34:42):
She did not have to do that, but she did.
I absolutely love her, and I've seen this coming. So
that's exactly how I feel about.
Speaker 7 (34:50):
I mean, now you've seen this coming, You're so crazy.
Speaker 9 (34:55):
I mean yeah, I say that she is a woman
and she can speak directly of the issues that are
up against us in this whole race.
Speaker 8 (35:05):
I agree with Jess. I think styles make fights. I
think Kamala Harris is tailor made the goal against Donald Trump.
A woman who can speak, you know, to Roe v
Wade being abolish. She can speak the women's reproductive rights
being taken away in ways that men can't. You know,
she's a prosecutor who's running for president against a recently
(35:25):
convicted felon in Donald Trump, who's facing more charges. I
just believe she's the perfect candidate at the perfect time now.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
And not only that, I think she's a good person.
Speaker 10 (35:33):
We had the opportunity to interview her up here three
times and just what she stands for, and also, like
I said, being a good person, the fact that she
graduated from HBCU, the fact that she was a prosecutor,
the fact that she's not going to back down, the
fact that she's not scared, the fact.
Speaker 1 (35:49):
That she looks like all of us out there.
Speaker 8 (35:51):
To me, well, I think I think the prosecutor thing
plays well for her right now. You know, when she
ran for president in twenty twenty, that was something that people,
you know, used against her. But I mean, you know,
when you're going up against somebody who's got all the
criminal charges that Donald Trump has, I don't think that
there's a better person to prosecute the case against Trump
than you know, a former prosecutor, you know, like the
vice president. So Democrats gonna need all this energy, man,
(36:13):
because their only defense against voter suppression is large voter turnout.
And I've been telling people, you know, since the Supreme Court,
President your immunity rule and that the Supreme Court is
no longer a legitimate institution. And I think that they're
gonna be the big, the biggest hurdle for us having
a free and fair election. I don't even know about
democracy right now, and it's current state is healthy enough
for us to have a free and fair election. And
(36:34):
what happens when, you know, if Donald Trump loses in
November and then he challenges it with the Supreme Court
that he damned they're put together.
Speaker 1 (36:41):
He put three of those people on what happens then?
Speaker 29 (36:44):
Right?
Speaker 1 (36:44):
But I don't want to be a Debbie downer. I
just want to know how y'all feel about KAMBLA right now.
Speaker 7 (36:47):
And I ain't gonna lie.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
I was tired.
Speaker 10 (36:49):
I was politically tired. I was tired of buying, and
I was tired of lying to us. Out you got
a booze, right, Yeah? I definitely got to yat a
little B twelve shot.
Speaker 22 (36:56):
No.
Speaker 1 (36:56):
I mean, I feel like that man was been in
your end. You know what I'm saying? Got you excited?
Speaker 9 (36:59):
Right?
Speaker 2 (37:00):
What is heaven?
Speaker 23 (37:01):
What?
Speaker 10 (37:01):
What did you whisper my head this morning when I
walk in and go through the phones. All right, that's
what I wanted to know.
Speaker 1 (37:05):
Hello, who's this.
Speaker 29 (37:06):
Oh this is Irish.
Speaker 1 (37:10):
I can't believe I made it. Oh my god, good morning,
Good morning Irish. What's your thoughts?
Speaker 4 (37:15):
Mama?
Speaker 29 (37:15):
Okay, So, firstly say I'm so happy to see a
woman brothers for president, and I'm grateful for that. However,
says that mean I was going to sens even if
by the running again, because everyone talks about, oh, let's
get the black bell, let's get the black vote, and
they get the black vote and nothing changes. And when
I say nothing, I'm in our education system. Our children
are stuff from here in New York City public schools.
And let's talk about services. My brother's path beleaguers, he
(37:38):
got hit five druggings robbers very hard for heav looking
at services, and I understand that they allowed their misers
to come in, but they come in and they just
overwhelm them with services and they forget about.
Speaker 30 (37:48):
The people already here. So what's gonna change with that?
What are they gonna do with the black dreams that
help our children that's struggling in New York City public schools.
They're not even on the same level as other kids
in other countries.
Speaker 29 (38:00):
And that's what my concert is, so there's something gonna
change because Kamala's money instead of I then like, help
me out.
Speaker 19 (38:05):
We're confused here.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
Those are all valid questions.
Speaker 8 (38:08):
A lot of those things you named the local issues though, Yeah,
that's stuff you should be going to your local government with.
Speaker 1 (38:13):
Hello, who can you hear me? What's your name?
Speaker 4 (38:17):
My name?
Speaker 13 (38:17):
Kelly?
Speaker 4 (38:17):
What's up? Good morning?
Speaker 1 (38:18):
How y'all doing Kelly? Good morning? What's your thoughts?
Speaker 4 (38:20):
Kelly? Hey man?
Speaker 17 (38:21):
I just want to say y'all to go. Y'all help
me survive mornings for a decade now, from college to work.
Speaker 1 (38:25):
I just want to say that we all, we all baby,
let's go. Thank you. Just not just knew, but we all.
Speaker 17 (38:33):
Hey man, oldness is greatness.
Speaker 28 (38:34):
You know.
Speaker 17 (38:36):
I don't think America is ready. I don't think America
is ready for a female president.
Speaker 4 (38:40):
You know what. I'm a black man and I absolutely do.
Speaker 17 (38:43):
Not want another Democratic president in there. I think we
should give the Republicans another try. There's a lot of
agendas that the Democratic Party has kind of put him
into place that I don't support. I think they're destroying
the black man or destroying the black family. I think
they're ruining country. And if you're listening in New York
like I am, Man, this place is a financial nightmare,
(39:04):
not to mention crime. I think if we put Trump
back in there, man, it's gonna be amazing. Kamala cannot
do what he's gonna do to bring this country back
for where it needs to be. And this is not
a race thing, because that's the number one thing they
like to say when they talk about Trump and how
he's a criminal and blah blah blah blah blah. I
don't think any of that matters his policies or we
need to focus on it. He's gonna get a sack
where he needs to go. Kamala is not ready.
Speaker 8 (39:26):
I'm not here to tell you. I'm not here to
tell you. I'm not here to tell you who to
vote for. You know that's your opinion. The only thing
I will say about the beginning part you said you
don't know if this country's ready.
Speaker 1 (39:34):
To vote for a women.
Speaker 8 (39:35):
I don't have any reason to believe Kamala Harris cannot
beat Donald Trump other than this's never happened in this
country and there always has to be a first. Like
you know, people say in America never voted for a
black woman never elected a black woman, that's true. But
people never voted for the executive producer of Celebrity Apprentice
either until they did. People never voted for a convicted felon.
We're about to see if they will. These are unprecedented times, people,
(39:57):
That's all I can tell you.
Speaker 9 (39:58):
And a ain't not ready. You just get ready, like
what you're talking about. She knows what she up against,
like you just get ready. I don't want to stand
like she not ready? How y'all gonna tell somebody not ready?
Speaker 1 (40:08):
And that's another good point just brought up.
Speaker 8 (40:10):
Donald Trump had no political experience whatsoever, not one, nothing,
nothing at all. So this woman has been a senator,
attorney general, vice president. She seemed ready to me.
Speaker 10 (40:20):
Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. We're talking,
Kamala Harris. Are you energized now the fact that Biden
step down? How are you feeling out there? Let's discuss this,
the breakfast cloak.
Speaker 1 (40:29):
Come on, Brady, let's say.
Speaker 4 (40:37):
Y'all talking about it.
Speaker 1 (40:38):
You know we talking about it.
Speaker 6 (40:40):
It's topic times called eight hundred five eight five one
five one to join into the discussion with the breakfast club.
Speaker 10 (40:47):
Morning, everybody, it's j n V, Jess Hilarius, Charlamagne, the God.
We are the Breakfast Club. If you're just joining us,
we're taking your calls eight hundred five eight five one
oh five one. We reported yesterday that Joe Biden is
stepped down. It looks like Kamala Harris is going to
get that nomination. So we're asking do you feel excited?
Speaker 8 (41:04):
Now?
Speaker 1 (41:04):
Hello? Who's this?
Speaker 7 (41:05):
Yes, this is philm Hey Phil, good morning?
Speaker 1 (41:07):
What's your thoughts?
Speaker 11 (41:08):
Film?
Speaker 4 (41:08):
Good morning?
Speaker 13 (41:09):
I think Kamala Harris has what it takes.
Speaker 24 (41:12):
I think she's a class act. Joe Biden did it
the way that I believe that people can look at
that was as well as Classtack as well.
Speaker 4 (41:22):
I love what you guys are doing on the show.
Speaker 13 (41:25):
Charlamagne, you are hysterical.
Speaker 1 (41:27):
Thank you sir. So listen so your energized is what
you're saying. Yes, I am okay, that's all.
Speaker 8 (41:32):
That's all I'm mapthing because I feel like there was
no energy, you know, I feel like people was like
down about it about the election.
Speaker 1 (41:39):
I definitely was Hello, who's this, Hey?
Speaker 20 (41:41):
This is Tyler Callings from k Call, Florida.
Speaker 1 (41:44):
Hey, Tyler, you called here before? Correct?
Speaker 20 (41:46):
No, first time?
Speaker 7 (41:47):
Rare Okay, well, welcome to the show.
Speaker 1 (41:49):
What do you feel? What do you feel right now?
Speaker 20 (41:51):
Well, at the start, I respect and I appreciate Biden
for dropping out. He saved the country in twenty twenty
and he's doing it again by doing that. I think
Kamala is a a Troy. He checks a lot of
the boxes, a lot of voters that Biden was having
trouble get them, And nobody better to prosecute that fat
orange guy than former prosecutors.
Speaker 10 (42:10):
So yeah, I just feel like, you know, when when
it comes to the debate, I don't even think the
debate is gonna happen again.
Speaker 1 (42:16):
But if Donald Trump to Kamala Harris, I just feel like,
you know, he don't want that smoke, He don't want you.
Speaker 7 (42:22):
Would wash him, and I would love to see it.
Speaker 1 (42:23):
Donald Trump is not debating Kamala Harris. Thank you. I
will be shocked if Donald Trump debate Kamala Harrs. Hello.
Who's this?
Speaker 4 (42:31):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (42:32):
This Exavier from Virginia Beach Man, Examvier, what's up?
Speaker 4 (42:35):
V Beach?
Speaker 1 (42:35):
What's going on? Man?
Speaker 4 (42:37):
Hey?
Speaker 24 (42:37):
I know so crazy man, but I've seen all the
people thats running with man for VP that the potential
people I just would love to say, man, I would
love to see Michelle Obama be her running mate.
Speaker 1 (42:48):
Man, Why do y'all say things that don't make no
sense sometimes?
Speaker 4 (42:50):
Like why dude, just real hug?
Speaker 1 (42:57):
Yeah, don't nobody, like nobody want to see that?
Speaker 8 (42:59):
Like she needs she needs And I'll say this and
I wouldn't give a damn what nobody think about it.
She absolutely needs a white man, okay, to make other
white men and white people feel comfortable.
Speaker 1 (43:09):
That's just the truth to the matter. I like Governor
Shapiros That's how it's just I get it.
Speaker 8 (43:17):
But it ain't about what you want to see. It's
about you know, what it takes to win. I like
Governor Shapiro Pennsylvania. I like what he's done in Pennsylvania
in regardless of probation reform.
Speaker 1 (43:25):
I like Tim Ryan from Ohio.
Speaker 22 (43:28):
Uh.
Speaker 8 (43:28):
He was honest about the Biden situation when it was
uncomfortable to do so. I've been hearing people like Mark
Kelly's name Andy butsher the governor of North Carolina. I
can't remember his name. It'll probably end up being Mark
Kelly because he's an astronaut. He's a ballhead white guy.
Speaker 1 (43:43):
When you look at him. He's like Arizona.
Speaker 10 (43:44):
He looks, he looks Maga White. I like Josh Shapiro though,
I love it, I really do. And if he did
make it as vice president, he'd be the first Jewish
vice president.
Speaker 22 (43:54):
Uh.
Speaker 7 (43:54):
You know, of course, we know know Pennsylvania is a
key state.
Speaker 1 (43:57):
So I really like j.
Speaker 2 (44:00):
Yeah, I think Shapiro was great.
Speaker 1 (44:03):
Shut up, let's go to another whole lot.
Speaker 8 (44:10):
You know Shapiro wants to build a wall around Baltimore.
Oh my god, you don't even know that.
Speaker 1 (44:14):
You just that's not true. Yeah, that's not true. Hello,
it's not true. I don't anybody think that's you never
know what these people. Hello, what's your thoughts?
Speaker 4 (44:22):
Brother? I'm excited.
Speaker 13 (44:25):
I'm excited that.
Speaker 1 (44:27):
Kamela Kamala, Sir Camela sounded like a drink a medieval time.
Let me get two camera, brother.
Speaker 13 (44:36):
Yeah, I'm excited about her.
Speaker 24 (44:38):
I mean, I'm I'm happy to.
Speaker 4 (44:39):
Be a Democrat right now.
Speaker 13 (44:41):
I'm motivated. You know, I'm telling people that I'm gonna vote.
Speaker 31 (44:44):
I wasn't gonna vote for the other the other two.
Speaker 4 (44:46):
But I'm excited.
Speaker 1 (44:47):
Okay, Okay, Well that's good. It's getting people off the couch,
because we always said.
Speaker 8 (44:51):
That the about the couch, the Democrats who are the cowards,
the Republicans who are the crooks, and the couch. And
you know, I I think what the Democrats did showed
a lot of courage. So I do like that they're
showing something that they don't usually show, you know, to
make Biden step down took a lot of courage.
Speaker 1 (45:07):
Who's this on the phone?
Speaker 24 (45:08):
Good morning?
Speaker 19 (45:09):
My name's to Malia.
Speaker 7 (45:10):
Hey, Amalia, good morning's what's your opinion y'all?
Speaker 22 (45:13):
I'm nervous.
Speaker 19 (45:15):
I'm nervous as.
Speaker 1 (45:17):
But are you excited and nervous?
Speaker 19 (45:19):
I mean, I don't want to say I'm excited just
because she's a woman. But I don't say that knocking
to vote for Trump.
Speaker 8 (45:26):
Yeah, I didn't say should be excited because she's a woman.
I'm just are you excited about the new energy? The
fact that it's a new candidate?
Speaker 1 (45:31):
Sounds like you don't like either of them?
Speaker 2 (45:34):
I don't.
Speaker 19 (45:34):
I don't like either of them, but we haven't. We
don't even know what she's standing for yet.
Speaker 4 (45:38):
Oh I do.
Speaker 1 (45:39):
I mean, you know, because I vote for issues, not individuals.
Speaker 8 (45:42):
And you know I've supported I supported the Vice president
when she ran for president in twenty twenty, because I
believed in her agenda.
Speaker 1 (45:48):
You know what I mean right now.
Speaker 8 (45:49):
I believe in women having all of their reproductive rights,
you know, which I know Kamala does. I believe in
major tax cuts for the working class, which I know
Kamala does.
Speaker 1 (45:56):
I believe.
Speaker 8 (45:57):
I believe in her business policies period. You know, I
believe in her her stance on mental health. You know,
we was in uh oh was it some of it?
We were in some ofvill Side Carolina, our Goose Creek,
South Carolina.
Speaker 4 (46:06):
I was with her.
Speaker 8 (46:07):
It was me and uh Kamala when she was running
for president and Congressman Ja Moore, and she introduced her
mental health initiative, you know, in some of ill South Carolina,
some of Field, Goose Creek.
Speaker 1 (46:17):
I can't remember, but no one.
Speaker 19 (46:18):
Are three things that she did be over this past
term that you're here for. Top three things.
Speaker 8 (46:24):
Top three things that she did. I like her stance
on I like her stance on black black maternal health.
Like I said, I like her stance on small businesses.
You know, what they've done with small businesses and I liked.
I like what they've done with HBCUs and you disliked.
Speaker 4 (46:38):
Oh.
Speaker 8 (46:39):
My biggest issue with Kamala and I've said this a
million times, I get frustrated at the person that we.
Speaker 1 (46:44):
Know behind the scenes. I don't get to see her
in front of the camera too much.
Speaker 19 (46:47):
But I think the biggest thing I have right there.
Speaker 8 (46:49):
Yeah, that's my biggest That's that's all. That's always been
my biggest frustration with the vice president. My biggest frustration
with the vice president is simply that the person we
know behind the scenes if like, we don't ever get
to see that in front of the camera.
Speaker 1 (47:03):
She's shrunk in that role.
Speaker 8 (47:04):
But I said, I felt like the Biden administration had
handcuffs on us.
Speaker 1 (47:07):
So I hope for the next four months we get
to see the real her. But that's what I hope.
Speaker 10 (47:12):
But any anytime there is a vice person, you really
don't see their personality much. You really don't see that
in any of the vice presidents.
Speaker 1 (47:18):
But I guess I'm not looking for it because I
don't know them.
Speaker 8 (47:20):
Correct, you know what I'm saying, Like, like, it's different
when you actually know a person and you sat down
and you kicked it with him on air and off air,
when you you know, when you know a person, you're
looking for more.
Speaker 19 (47:31):
That's all why I shouldn't Hispanics vote for her?
Speaker 1 (47:34):
Oh, I don't know.
Speaker 8 (47:34):
I'm not a Spanic, you got, but see that's what
I mean. Everybody got to go out there and do
their own research like I have.
Speaker 2 (47:41):
Like, I'm like, why you can't these cussions? What are
the three things that you hate about? You know, the
three things.
Speaker 19 (47:49):
Shrunk in her role? I'm sure said she's going to
be a nominee, and now I need to step my
game up and do my research. I honestly don't know.
Speaker 1 (47:57):
Yeah, that's all. That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 8 (47:59):
And I I'm not telling nobody who to vote for.
I'm just telling you, you know, the things that I
see that I support.
Speaker 19 (48:05):
I'm not saying I'm a Trump supporter at all. This
Project twenty five is horrifying.
Speaker 22 (48:11):
It's true.
Speaker 19 (48:11):
You know, you never know what's true nowadays.
Speaker 1 (48:13):
True.
Speaker 7 (48:14):
Well, thank you for calling in, Thank you. I have
a good mama, she was. What's the more of the story, guys.
Speaker 8 (48:20):
The more of the story is, man, go out there,
do your own research, you know, and do real research.
Don't go online in the internet. And like I like
those questions that she hass just find three things that
you like about a candidate that you want to support
like this, It's really that simple. Because I'm an issues person.
I'm voting issues, you know, not not individuals. In twenty
twenty four, I'm voting to protect what we have left
(48:43):
with democracy, and you know, I support Kamala because I support,
you know, women having all of their reproductive rights. You know,
I support you know, major tax cuts for the working class,
and I believe in our business policies.
Speaker 1 (48:56):
That's me.
Speaker 2 (48:57):
Yeah, But I was saying, like, expect her questions as well.
Speaker 9 (49:01):
But she's the one with the problem, so she has
to do that research and answer those herself. While she's
not a Trump supporter, she's wondering why she should be
energized about Kamala.
Speaker 2 (49:12):
All right, do your research and figure it out. You know,
like you said, you're not telling nobody who to vote for.
But still I think also the moral of the story
is it's a couple of morals.
Speaker 9 (49:22):
People get a lot of their like answers and points
and all of that from Instagram. I mean not Instagram,
just comments what other people feel. We are very I
see it. That's how I feel type of country, like
that's the small part of us. But that's influence like
online where people see online like you said, like you
(49:44):
gotta read, you really gotta go. She got a website,
like it's stuff that you have to step outside of social.
Speaker 2 (49:49):
Media to find out. To really get into this election.
Speaker 10 (49:52):
People got to do their homework. They just can't listen
to an influence and say I'm voting because of this.
They have to do their homework and understand what that
candidate is running for, what they're standing on on, and
make sure that whatever that candidate that you're voting for
follows what you agree with and the policies and things
that you that aligned with you.
Speaker 8 (50:09):
And Kamla gotta go out there and sell herself because
like that young lady says, you feel like Kamala disappears.
You know the things that you if you supported her
in twenty twenty, We don't know if that's her same
agenda now. And Kamala has struggled sometimes to articulate what
policy physicians drive her. I know, you know, the black
maternal death raad drives her. That's one of the things
(50:29):
I know drives her. That's one of the things that
I'm big on. So I know mental health drives her,
but she got to go sell that to the people.
Speaker 1 (50:35):
Man, that's all absolutely.
Speaker 9 (50:37):
Now she that well, you know now she does. But
you know how people will always be like, oh, we
don't see it, we don't see it. She's a VP,
like she a vice president. Is she supposed to be
seeing more than she was.
Speaker 1 (50:50):
I just expected to see her more.
Speaker 8 (50:51):
But that's because of my own personal feelings, in my
personal belief in her.
Speaker 1 (50:57):
That's what that was. That's what that was.
Speaker 2 (50:58):
All right.
Speaker 1 (51:00):
What we got action, folks, Okay, November right around the corner.
What we're doing, and we.
Speaker 7 (51:04):
Got just with the mess coming up, what we're talking about.
Speaker 9 (51:06):
Oh my god, it's gonna be a heavy hour because
we're going to be talking about the story of Sonya
Massy Lord have Mercy.
Speaker 2 (51:13):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it was definitely. The jests with the
mess gonna be pretty thick this this hour.
Speaker 7 (51:18):
All right, we'll get to that next. It's the breakfast,
go on mourning.
Speaker 10 (51:21):
Everybody is DBJ N V, Jess, Larry CHARLAMAGEA Gotti.
Speaker 8 (51:25):
You know, there's there's one other thing I wanted to
mention that that Kamala did over the last four years
when she announced all the new funding from mental health
professionals in schools, it was like two hudred and eighty
five million dollars. I think it was the most the
most money ever from Yeah, if I'm not mistaken, Yeah,
twenty eighty five million dollars is part of the administration's
initiative to hire and train mental health counselism school So
(51:48):
that's a very large investment.
Speaker 1 (51:49):
That was another thing. Remember she asked me what was
the point two? That was another Like you said people
got to do that home, but I said mental health.
But I wanted to be specific about what I was
talking about. Now, let's get to Jess with the mess news.
Speaker 2 (52:00):
Whether is just a robber Moore just don't do no line,
don't be.
Speaker 8 (52:05):
Talk the spa why jes worldwide.
Speaker 1 (52:12):
On the breakfast gloves the coaches shild.
Speaker 23 (52:15):
She was able to get y'all to see something and
understand something that nobody could get you to see the
time to set it off, So.
Speaker 9 (52:23):
A twelve year old smothers our eight year old cousin
to death over the phone.
Speaker 32 (52:28):
We got the report for that twelve year old girl
being accused of murdering her eight year old cousin is
a stunning crime in any community. Frederick, AG District Attorney
in the twenty eighth Judicial District says the eight year
old was found unresponsive in her bed in this house
on East Mitchell Monday Wednesday. A tipster said surveillance video
from the bedroom revealed what happened.
Speaker 2 (52:50):
What does the video show?
Speaker 14 (52:51):
It shows the twelve year old with her full body weight,
taking betting and appears to be that the eight year
old is asleep.
Speaker 1 (52:58):
She takes the betting and she covers.
Speaker 2 (53:01):
That year old state did the eight year old wake up?
Speaker 32 (53:04):
Did she struggle at any point?
Speaker 1 (53:06):
Yes, ma'am there's a part in the video where we
see her struggling. I saw that story yesterday.
Speaker 8 (53:11):
I was in the kitchen whispering it to my wife
because you know what I'm saying, because you never know
when the kids are listening to your putting nothing in
their head. But I see that story and I'm like, Yo,
what possessed that twelve year old little girl? Where she
even learned that from?
Speaker 22 (53:23):
Like?
Speaker 1 (53:23):
Is it social media? Is it YouTube?
Speaker 8 (53:25):
Because you know, I'm the old man that blames everything
on YouTube nowadays, you tube or TV something something TV
that was all momaed him. That's all momed me to
say that, Yeah, they're watching too much of that damn TV.
I'm not you watch too much of that damn YouTube. So, like,
what causes the twelve year old to do that and
then even try to fix the crime crime?
Speaker 9 (53:43):
Yeah, she cleaned up the you know what she did,
and then repositioned her little cousin's dead body.
Speaker 1 (53:49):
That's gat.
Speaker 8 (53:50):
Then you hear they're gonna charge her with murder. So
now you like, huh, because there should be consequences, But
for twelve That's what I'm saying, Like, I don't. It's like,
oh man, I feel so sorry for that family. Man,
you to the family that eight year old girl?
Speaker 1 (54:06):
Yeah, oh my god.
Speaker 9 (54:07):
The prosecutors they want to charge as an adult to
twelve yearsident just want to charge.
Speaker 2 (54:14):
Her as an adult.
Speaker 9 (54:14):
District attorney says that the twelve year old has been
charged with first degree but yeah, the prosecutor is definitely
want to charge as an adult, and the eight year
old's mother told the news network that the girls had
just got into it over an iPhone. Goddamn over an
iPhone over crazy mm hmmm. So that place to the internet,
and I mean she.
Speaker 1 (54:35):
No better man.
Speaker 8 (54:36):
You just don't know what they're learning, You don't know
what they're taking in. I'm saying, oh boy.
Speaker 1 (54:42):
Yeah, it is crazy.
Speaker 9 (54:44):
Also another heavy story for the seven o'clock hour of
The Cops kills Sonia Massy.
Speaker 2 (54:50):
We got the report for that as well.
Speaker 33 (54:53):
Deputies arrived to Sonya Massey's house on July sixth after
she reported a possible intruder. Body camera video shows I'm
searching her property and taking special interest in a car
with broken windows. They knock at least five times, and
Massy comes to the door mumbling something to Deputy Sean Grayson,
who responds. The conversation appears to be wrapping up about
(55:15):
a minute later. Then deputies ask more about that car
and wind up coming inside Massey's house for some questions.
They notice the stove is on. Massy goes over to
the pot of water and things take a fatal turn.
Speaker 24 (55:33):
And I.
Speaker 33 (55:39):
Face Deputy Grayson's body camera shows his vantage point as
he raises his weapon. Massy places the pot down, puts
her hands in the air, and ducks. Grayson shoots.
Speaker 1 (55:49):
So damn sad.
Speaker 2 (55:50):
Yeah that is said.
Speaker 9 (55:52):
That is said, And this just plays too like how
I always hear, you'll say, like, why is a gun
the first thing like a shooting, Like shooting people are
the first thing that you'll go to.
Speaker 2 (56:04):
They have tasers, they have mace. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (56:07):
They could have maced her, but she was boiling water.
Speaker 2 (56:11):
No, okay.
Speaker 9 (56:12):
So when they went in the house to answer the
questions about she called the police because she said and the.
Speaker 2 (56:16):
Truder was in her home.
Speaker 9 (56:18):
And when they got to the scene, they's seen that
the windows it was a car outside of her house
that was parked and the windows were bashed. And so
when they came inside to question her further about this intruder,
they noticed that it was a pot of water on
the stove and they asked her to turn it off,
and she got closer to it, and as you see,
as you can hear in the report, she was like, oh,
bac aaate from the hot water. And she started saying
(56:42):
I rebuke you in the name of Jesus. I rebuke
in the name of Jesus to the cops. And the
guy was like, I swear I will shoot you in
your face and I'm sorry, yeah, And you can hear
her saying right after he threatens to do that to her.
You can hear her apologize, and then she does get
down like she lowers herself and she says, I'm sorry, okay,
I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (57:01):
I'm sorry, I'm sorry, and and after that he shot her.
Speaker 1 (57:04):
So yeah, ain't no, ain't no pepper spray, ain't no tazer.
Speaker 7 (57:08):
Like you, no, no, no, that cop.
Speaker 10 (57:10):
But he belongs to be under the jail to the
point to the point where the other officer was like,
oh my gosh, I'm gonna go get the whatever kid
is kid, you know, medical kit. He was like, Nah, no,
need to get the medical kid. It was a head shot.
It was like talking to talking like like like you
shot a deer. It's it's a head shot.
Speaker 1 (57:27):
We're good.
Speaker 7 (57:27):
Nah, you don't need that medical kit.
Speaker 1 (57:29):
Very sad well, like you're.
Speaker 2 (57:30):
Playing Fortnite or something.
Speaker 9 (57:32):
That was just so simple and easy for him to
comment that she was thirty six years old and Deputy Grayson.
Speaker 1 (57:40):
Uh, she's black.
Speaker 2 (57:42):
She was a black woman.
Speaker 1 (57:42):
She's a black woman.
Speaker 9 (57:44):
Officers, YEAP officers are white, both of them. Deputy Grayson,
the one who took the shot, he's thirty years old.
He was indicted by grand jury last week on three
counts of first degree murder and one count each of
aggregate aggravated battery with a firearms and official misconduct.
Speaker 2 (58:01):
He pled not guilty.
Speaker 9 (58:03):
He was denied pre trial release, and her family said
that she suffered from mental illness issues and that she
needed a helping hand and not a short I mean,
not a shot to the head.
Speaker 8 (58:14):
That's right, That's that's and that's also why you know,
law enforcement needs checks and balances, and you got somebody
like Donald Trump out there promising to give police immunity
from prosecution.
Speaker 1 (58:22):
Nah.
Speaker 2 (58:24):
What I love is that Ben Crump is representing the
family in this matter.
Speaker 1 (58:29):
I just saw him on TV.
Speaker 8 (58:31):
He's going to today show Good Morning America, one of
them him and I just saw.
Speaker 9 (58:35):
Yeah, Yeah, and her father spoke at a press conference.
We got the audio for that as well.
Speaker 1 (58:39):
I want justice for my baby, yeah killed the amen.
Speaker 34 (58:46):
Amen.
Speaker 35 (58:47):
So the people of Segnam and County have been great,
But I'm gonna tell y'all the share is here is
an embarrassment because this man should have never had a badge,
he should have never had a gun. He should have
never been given the opportunity to kill my child because
he had some serious sublimages on his record. This man
had two convictions for DUI and he was a member
(59:08):
of law enforcement.
Speaker 1 (59:09):
What an embarrassment.
Speaker 9 (59:11):
I'm glad that this story is getting a lot of
recognition because President Biden spoke on the two. He said,
Sonya Massey, a beloved mother, friend, daughter, and young black woman,
should be alive today. Sonya's death at the hands of
a police officer reminds us that all too often Black
Americans face fears for their safety in many ways of
the rest of us, in many ways that the rest
(59:34):
of us do not so well.
Speaker 1 (59:36):
Spoke on that.
Speaker 8 (59:37):
I'm glad you're raising away inness of it too. But
God damn Warner brother, next time, I just walk into
this jet with the message, here you go with the
two stories I'm trying to avoid.
Speaker 2 (59:46):
Because I'm why are we trying to avoid them?
Speaker 1 (59:49):
For my own mental health?
Speaker 10 (59:52):
But we need to make sure. We have to know,
to make sure to get prosecuted. At least let me know,
try to make sure they're doing right. Say something like
this about to talk about it.
Speaker 2 (01:00:00):
It's the lot y'all want me to do. I have
to report. I have to be like, hey, please, yes,
you ain't.
Speaker 1 (01:00:05):
Even thinking about how your baby feel, right, now.
Speaker 7 (01:00:09):
Thank you jess by Chelmann, who are giving a donkey too?
Speaker 1 (01:00:13):
I don't even want to talk, right, it's enough, it's enough,
But Boosy says it's enough. I don't want to talk
about it. Go to commercial donkey. We're not doing commerce, but.
Speaker 2 (01:00:23):
Doc no more, We're not doing.
Speaker 1 (01:00:27):
No, I'm actually doing right now.
Speaker 7 (01:00:28):
You're a downer.
Speaker 1 (01:00:30):
Oh my goodness, the breakfast logan morning. This is a miracle,
there is no question.
Speaker 33 (01:00:37):
And there are problems in this country between police and community.
Speaker 1 (01:00:41):
Yes, you are a donkey to the latest on that
police killing of a black man, now.
Speaker 32 (01:00:47):
The new developments in the deathly spoatshooting rampase.
Speaker 1 (01:00:49):
Yes, it was a really bad day.
Speaker 34 (01:00:50):
For him and this is what he did.
Speaker 2 (01:00:52):
And so we are in a state of emergency.
Speaker 8 (01:00:55):
Okay, White supremacist violence, it is always has been the
number one threat to US society.
Speaker 1 (01:01:00):
But I'm also very proud that my wife was right.
Speaker 12 (01:01:06):
All right, Sonny, please tell me why was I your.
Speaker 33 (01:01:09):
Donkey of the day.
Speaker 8 (01:01:10):
Well, donkey to David two did July twenty three goes
to an Ohio Republican ascendative by the name of George Lang.
He represents the hometown of Vice presidential Republican nominee JD
Vance And yesterday he deal with a lot of supporters
with mcgado best and that's few dangerous rhetoric that can
lead to political violence.
Speaker 1 (01:01:25):
Let's listen to what Senator George Lang had to say. Oh,
hold on, let's go. What's the news? I forgot what
the news report?
Speaker 24 (01:01:30):
What is it?
Speaker 2 (01:01:31):
What's the new?
Speaker 1 (01:01:35):
NBC five? Go to NBC five for the report.
Speaker 28 (01:01:37):
Please, you know how these things work at a political
rally where several speakers get up before the main event.
One of those Republican speakers today was State Senator George Lang,
who's from Butler County here and he said, if the
Democrats won the White House, here's what would have to
happen to turn it around.
Speaker 36 (01:01:54):
Donald Trump and Butler County's JD Vance are the last
chance to save our country politically. I'm afraid if we
lose this one, it's gonna take a civil war to
save the country, and it will be saved.
Speaker 28 (01:02:08):
Senator Lang releasing an apology on x formerly known as Twitter, saying,
quote remarks I made earlier today at a rally in
Middletown do not accurately reflect my views. I regret the
devisive remarks I made in the excitement of the moment
on stage, especially in light of the assassination attempt on
President Trump last week, we should all be mindful of
(01:02:28):
what it said at political events myself included.
Speaker 8 (01:02:32):
I'm afraid if we lose this one, it's gonna take
the civil war to save the country, and it will
be saved. I can't believe it's been only about ten
days since an assassination attempt happened to former President Donald Trump.
Speaker 16 (01:02:42):
JD.
Speaker 8 (01:02:42):
Evans and other Republicans said that it was a dangerous
rhetoric from Democrats about Trump that led to the assassination attempt.
I say, you can't even talk about dangerous rhetoric that
leads the political violence without first speaking about Donald Trump
and second speaking about damn near everyone around him that
supports him.
Speaker 1 (01:02:58):
Okay, Donald trum.
Speaker 8 (01:03:00):
Rhetoric has created an environment of political violence that he's
not even safe, and no politician is.
Speaker 1 (01:03:05):
And when you hear, you know, senators like George Lang
say things like it's going to take a civil.
Speaker 8 (01:03:09):
War to save the country, and then you think about
you know, the president of the Aritage Foundation, Kevin Roberts,
you know, the architect Project twenty twenty five.
Speaker 1 (01:03:16):
Remember when he said this, in spite of all this
nonsense from the left, we are going to win.
Speaker 3 (01:03:22):
We're in the process of taking this country back, and
we are in the process of the Second American Revolution,
which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be.
Speaker 8 (01:03:32):
At some point, Ladies and Ghettlement, you have to say,
one side is absolutely inciting political violence, and one side
is just simply telling the truth about who's viewing the
dangerous rhetoric that can.
Speaker 1 (01:03:43):
Lead to political violence.
Speaker 8 (01:03:44):
Did I ever tell you about Back in May, I
was walking to New York and a random guy walked
up to me. Caucasian, he had on khakis in the polo,
and he said to me, Verbatim, he said, well, he said,
he said my name, and then he said some flattering
things to me. And at this point I'm on guard.
He said, he did, he did, he did.
Speaker 1 (01:03:59):
He did, He did take some flattering things to me.
Speaker 8 (01:04:01):
Okay, And at this point I was on guard because
why would anyone be saying anything nice to me? All right,
But he said to me, Verbatim, I want you to
start speaking to the fact. He said this to me
that regardless of who wins in this country, it's gonna
be a civil war. One of the reasons he said
that is because of people like Senator George Lang or
Kevin Roberts, and you know, of course Donald Trump, you know,
and he led an insurrection in this country. But he said,
(01:04:23):
regardless of who wins, you know, it's going to be
a civil war. And guess what, we don't know why
that guy took a shot at Trump last weekend or
the weekend before last. But that leads me to believe
that maybe this random whit dude who stopped me in
the street was on to something. And this is what
I don't understand from our elected officials and from us
we the people.
Speaker 1 (01:04:43):
Why do we want this civil unrest?
Speaker 8 (01:04:46):
Have things gotten so bad in this country that political
parties can't agree on anything?
Speaker 1 (01:04:52):
Is they're that much of a disconnect that we have
to go to war with each other?
Speaker 8 (01:04:57):
And I'm telling you right now, it won't matter if
you're rich, it won't matter what neighborhood you live in,
it won't matter where you work, it don't matter what
you're driving.
Speaker 1 (01:05:05):
And America, where there is a civil war going on
is not in America. I want to live in.
Speaker 8 (01:05:09):
Okay, and we can continue to play stupid and act
like we don't know where all of this negative energy
is coming from, but we do, okay, Kevin Roberts, Trump supporter,
Senator George Lang, Trump supporter, people who stormed the Capitol
Trump supporters. At some point, everybody with some common sense,
regardless of what your political party is, got to be like,
how did we get here? And furthermore, how do we
(01:05:30):
get out? I don't know what the answer to that is. Okay,
I'm not about to lie to y'all and tell y'all
I do okay. I can't sit around. I do no
voting as a start though, and I can't say voting
is go end it, but I just know voting is
indeed a start. I can't sit around and not encourage
people to do something when you have people like Senator
George Lang, Kevin Roberts, and Donald Trump out here talking
like this.
Speaker 1 (01:05:50):
But someone smarter than me has to tell me what
to do.
Speaker 4 (01:05:53):
Now.
Speaker 1 (01:05:53):
If you heard the news report earlier, then you heard.
Speaker 8 (01:05:56):
Senator George Lang say he regretted using divisive language at
a time political violence. What happens if you yell bomb
on a plane, If you yell bomb on a plane.
It causes panic, maybe evacuations, and legal consequences.
Speaker 1 (01:06:09):
You can't just say my bad after that.
Speaker 8 (01:06:12):
You can't just apologize your way out of screaming bomb
on a plane. And you shouldn't be able to just
apologize for saying that it's gonna be a civil war
if your particular political party loses an election. I'm not
telling you who to vote for, but if these people
are willing to go to war about they vote, then
damn it, you should use yours.
Speaker 1 (01:06:29):
Okay, because it's about to get crazy out here.
Speaker 8 (01:06:33):
Please let Kathy Griffin give Senate to George Lane the
biggest he hawed.
Speaker 1 (01:06:37):
Please give this giant jar male the biggest he haw.
Speaker 8 (01:06:43):
And you know my man little Duval, You know the
great black philosopher from Jacksonville named Little Duval. He tweeted
a couple of days ago because I saw him posted
on Instagram. He said, I'm not sure exactly what's about
to happen, but something is about to happen, and it's
gonna be nothing that we can prepare for.
Speaker 1 (01:07:00):
And I agree, that's all I can tell y'all. I agree.
Speaker 7 (01:07:06):
All right, Well, thank you for that donkey of today.
Speaker 10 (01:07:09):
Now let's open up the phone lines eight undrink five
five one o five one yesterday.
Speaker 1 (01:07:14):
About grades driving the women crazy nowadays.
Speaker 7 (01:07:17):
That the young with the guys, the guy with the
kakis on because.
Speaker 1 (01:07:22):
What you said you liked my grade? I didn't say
that at all.
Speaker 2 (01:07:27):
I said that boy, what why did you want him to?
Speaker 1 (01:07:30):
I just heard a man boys, But it was you
you right?
Speaker 10 (01:07:32):
Whoa whoa eight five five one o five one.
Speaker 1 (01:07:41):
Wow.
Speaker 10 (01:07:42):
Now yesterday fifty cent was trending yesterday, and that's because
the video was released. Fifty was in Toronto, and I
guess Drake pulled up on him, came to his show,
and people were saying, he's betraying Kendrick.
Speaker 7 (01:07:53):
So the question why the hell was fifty betraying him
exactly makes no sense.
Speaker 10 (01:07:57):
But the question eight hundred five five one five to one,
is your friend's enemy your enemy? That is the question.
We're taking it out of the fifteen situation. Eight hundred
five eight five one oh five one. Is your friend's
enemy your enemy? Are not created equal?
Speaker 1 (01:08:13):
That is the question. And we'll discuss when not created equal? Okay?
Speaker 8 (01:08:19):
And and I didn't know fifty and Kendricks friends, but
you just we just talked about something else, just talking
about it.
Speaker 10 (01:08:24):
Now, we're taking it out of it, because that's where
it's stemmed from. Okay, eight hundred five eight five, one
oh five one. Let'scuss. It's Breakfast Club the morning, the breakfast.
Speaker 7 (01:08:32):
Club owning everybody.
Speaker 1 (01:08:35):
It's dj n V.
Speaker 7 (01:08:37):
Just hilarious charlamage the guy we are the breakfast club.
Speaker 10 (01:08:40):
We're opening up the phone lines eight hundred five eight
five one oh five one, and we're asking, is your
friend's enemy your enemy?
Speaker 1 (01:08:47):
That is the question. Phone lines are lit up. Is
your friend's enemy your enemy? Start with you, Jess.
Speaker 9 (01:08:54):
Most definitely if there's you know, but it is definitely
to a certain extent because honestly, your friend be on
some petty ish I you know what I'm saying, Like,
sometimes you have to have a reason, somebody have to
do something to you to not like, you know, for
me to not like them, like, you know, I got
a lot, well, I had a lot of friends that
didn't like people for petty's stuff. And I'm like, look, yo,
(01:09:17):
it's not even necessarious, you know. And I was already
cool with that person. I may have been the person
to introduced them to so that would have been that's
like that. But like if me and she if she
ain't ha got a problem, that's my best friend. She
ain't got a problem with somebody.
Speaker 2 (01:09:28):
I got a problem with him.
Speaker 13 (01:09:30):
Now.
Speaker 9 (01:09:31):
On the other hand, it was a situation that I
had where I ain't like somebody that did me crazy,
did me dirty, and Sheena had still wished this to
happy birthday the next day, and I was mad about that.
Speaker 2 (01:09:44):
Yo, I was really really my feelings about that.
Speaker 1 (01:09:47):
Thought you was being petty.
Speaker 2 (01:09:48):
No, she ain't think I was being petty.
Speaker 9 (01:09:49):
She just thought because me and the girl would fall
out all the time, but and then we would be
cool again.
Speaker 2 (01:09:55):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (01:09:56):
Now, God damn, look at that breakfast you got.
Speaker 2 (01:10:00):
We would be cool again.
Speaker 9 (01:10:02):
But she did something that she couldn't come back from. This,
the girl that put my address, my phone number and
everything online. So why, I mean, why does she need
a happy birthday the next day?
Speaker 22 (01:10:12):
You know?
Speaker 9 (01:10:12):
So man, you know I had some choice words for
my best friend about that, but she it was done
with that. But yeah, like if you if if my
people's got a problem with somebody, I'm on go.
Speaker 2 (01:10:24):
It's the same thing.
Speaker 7 (01:10:25):
I'm with you.
Speaker 10 (01:10:28):
I've learned not to be because because I think sometimes
you can be too loyal. But I was that type
of person that if my friends had a problem, if
it would have had a problem with somebody, I had
a problem with somebody.
Speaker 1 (01:10:39):
And but what I realized is is never reciprocated.
Speaker 7 (01:10:43):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 10 (01:10:44):
So when it's not reciprocated, is you start to let
things go because you know, and if I have a
problem with you, it's usually.
Speaker 7 (01:10:50):
When you play with my family. You play with my family,
I'm all the way in on you.
Speaker 1 (01:10:54):
It is what it is.
Speaker 10 (01:10:55):
We could take it wherever you want to take it.
We can go to the to the to the devil
with it when you play with my family. But what
I realize is if a friend of mine has an enemy,
it's because it's not no pettiness. Right, Like there's when
people Charlemagne had problems with. And if Charlamagne has a
problem with it, and I see even person, I stepped
to them, what's up?
Speaker 1 (01:11:12):
What's what's up with? What's up with this? That's your
dumb ass. But that's just because nine times out of
ten I did something to call it. But I'll be like, heavy,
why you did that? What I said about this person? Yeah,
but it is what it is.
Speaker 7 (01:11:24):
I mean, but you could say things, but sometimes people
take it too far, you know what I mean.
Speaker 10 (01:11:28):
And there's been times when people like you know, they
like to go to hell with it, and if you
want to go to hell with it, sometimes we can
go to hell together. But I just I'm just one
of those people. I'm sometimes too loyal and I realize
just take my step back and take my things out
of things because when when the tables turned, it's never reciprocated.
So but yeah, that's how it is.
Speaker 1 (01:11:45):
What about you, Charlamane, I mean, it's levels to your ops.
Speaker 8 (01:11:48):
You know, everything is on a case by case basis,
because the reality is, if my peoples tell me something
about somebody and it's like super old crazy foul, like
I can't believe that person and would do something like that,
I'm gonna distance myself anyway from said individual, you know,
or I'm gonna say something to him, and that'd be
the thing I don't like. Don't tell me you don't
like somebody, And then when the person come around when
(01:12:11):
I say something, you acting like, I ain't you why
you say that to them? You told me you don't
mess with this person. I don't have that type of
like containment. If you tell me something, that person come around,
I want to I want to say it directly to
that person. I'm not an online person. I ain't going
back and forth with you online. I ain't doing none
of that. I want to see you. I want to
have a conversation with you. If there's an issue.
Speaker 1 (01:12:32):
Oh I'm a thousand set and see I like. I
like that conversation.
Speaker 10 (01:12:35):
I like to say it in your face because if
you could say it behind the scenes, if you can
say it behind my back, most buy somebody's back.
Speaker 1 (01:12:41):
Now I'm gonna say it to your face, see what
it is. And that's the first thing, right.
Speaker 8 (01:12:44):
The first thing is when you come to me with something,
you know, if you tell me you got an option,
just say to me right now, I got beef for
such and such.
Speaker 1 (01:12:49):
First thing I'm gonna saying, like, have you spoke to
that person?
Speaker 2 (01:12:51):
He always did that?
Speaker 23 (01:12:52):
Like?
Speaker 2 (01:12:53):
Uh, now, like why would I I want to fight.
Speaker 1 (01:12:55):
Cause because we need to talk to this person.
Speaker 8 (01:12:59):
And after we have a conversation with this individual, then
we know if we're not messing with this person no more.
Speaker 2 (01:13:04):
Yeah, but you know one thing, and then we're gonna
go to the phone lines in my bed.
Speaker 9 (01:13:07):
But you know Charla Mayne, see he liked the every
time I'm about to jump out there because somebody got
something to say, he still want to be their friend.
Speaker 2 (01:13:16):
Like he'd be like, no, because you know their mental
health is not like what people know. You do exactly
what they be saying.
Speaker 9 (01:13:24):
People know what's up, People be throwing little jab's, acting
like clowns being I'll.
Speaker 2 (01:13:28):
Just be like, I'm about to say something. He'd be like, no, no, no,
because maybe they didn't do that therapy this week.
Speaker 8 (01:13:33):
I'm protecting jests. That's my that is always my my,
my mindset. I'm not worried about that person. I'm like, no, Jess,
I don't want you to do that. You bigger than that. Now,
you better than that right now, No need for you
to jump out the window and get mixed up in something.
Speaker 1 (01:13:50):
And what do I always tell you?
Speaker 8 (01:13:51):
Because then now I gotta deal with this person and
I don't want I don't I don't want to have
to not have to.
Speaker 1 (01:13:56):
Cut this person off because it ain't that serious most
of the time. But let's go to the phone line. Hello,
who's this money is all?
Speaker 4 (01:14:04):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (01:14:04):
All like everybody.
Speaker 37 (01:14:07):
Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 1 (01:14:08):
Okay, all well, your mommy didn't know who the daddy was?
Speaker 16 (01:14:13):
Is that.
Speaker 1 (01:14:15):
You after everybody? She thought?
Speaker 18 (01:14:19):
Inclusive?
Speaker 37 (01:14:20):
Man, she considers everybody.
Speaker 18 (01:14:22):
What I said? No, she just includes everybody, she knows everybody,
She includes everyone.
Speaker 1 (01:14:26):
Okay, your mommy includes everybody.
Speaker 29 (01:14:28):
That's that inclusive man?
Speaker 7 (01:14:30):
Oh okay, okay, all right, Well that was a question.
Is your friend's enemy your enemy?
Speaker 38 (01:14:37):
One hundred per one hundred?
Speaker 18 (01:14:39):
And if you feel differently, you're not my friend?
Speaker 12 (01:14:42):
Right?
Speaker 7 (01:14:42):
I understand that to a point? Yep, I agree, Thank you, mama,
Thank you all.
Speaker 1 (01:14:46):
What do y'all call enemies? Though?
Speaker 8 (01:14:47):
I don't Yeah, I don't think y'all never had no
real enemies. You ain't never had nobody really trying to
take y'all out.
Speaker 2 (01:14:52):
Excuse me, right, you don't know what I've been through
my life?
Speaker 28 (01:15:00):
Hello?
Speaker 2 (01:15:00):
Who's this?
Speaker 1 (01:15:02):
Turn the radio down? Hello? Who's this? Yeah?
Speaker 24 (01:15:05):
This is.
Speaker 1 (01:15:07):
He from Jacksonville. We're asking is your friend's enemy your enemy?
Speaker 4 (01:15:12):
Yes?
Speaker 16 (01:15:13):
Because I always feel if you're not my if you're
my friend and your friends with somebody else that I
don't mess with, then we can't be friends.
Speaker 1 (01:15:24):
Okay, all right, well, well, thank you?
Speaker 7 (01:15:26):
What's your name, appreciate you from Jacksonville.
Speaker 1 (01:15:30):
Be patient. Okay, well, let's.
Speaker 7 (01:15:32):
Let's take some more phone calls when we come back.
Speaker 10 (01:15:34):
Eight hundred five eight five, one oh five won the question,
is your friend's enemy your enemy?
Speaker 1 (01:15:38):
It's the breakfast Club.
Speaker 10 (01:15:39):
Good morning, good morning everybody. It's the j Envy, Jess, Hilarious, Charlamagne,
the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. If you're just
joining us, is we're asking, is your friend's enemy your enemy?
Speaker 1 (01:15:50):
Now?
Speaker 10 (01:15:51):
Well, we're all saying behind the scenes, I feel like
if my friend has an enemy, I have an enemy
as well.
Speaker 1 (01:15:57):
It depends how far it goes.
Speaker 10 (01:15:59):
Like if it's some stupid with petty ish and that's
something small, But if it's something serious, when somebody tries
to hurt something in your you or your family, or
try to take something for you, or try to stop
the way that you eat, or try to destroy your life,
your career.
Speaker 1 (01:16:12):
Nah, you're gonna show me how serious it is.
Speaker 8 (01:16:15):
Though, because Jess brought up a good point earlier when
she was talking about her and Sheena, and she said,
you and she you and the girl used to fall
out all the time, so she ain't think nothing of it.
Speaker 1 (01:16:24):
I gotta see something. I gotta see a fight. I
gotta see this.
Speaker 7 (01:16:26):
But if the girl posted just and stuff online?
Speaker 1 (01:16:29):
What if I ain't see all that?
Speaker 2 (01:16:32):
Friend we're talking about? What are we talking about? You
know everything?
Speaker 9 (01:16:35):
Like you know not you were talking about, you know,
my best friend? Like, come on, you know everything? You
because she was like I seen it. I didn't think
it was that serious, my baby. It was two of
my numbers in my edge dress. That's where my son
lays headed.
Speaker 2 (01:16:45):
What were you talking about?
Speaker 22 (01:16:48):
Like?
Speaker 9 (01:16:48):
So, yeah, yeah, me and a girl did fault out,
but she ain't never do nothing like that, you know
what I'm saying. And then that's that's why I haven't
seen this to that day.
Speaker 7 (01:16:56):
Let's go to the phone line.
Speaker 1 (01:16:57):
Good morning that morning.
Speaker 7 (01:17:00):
Hey, we're asking, is your friend's enemy your enemy?
Speaker 29 (01:17:04):
Absolutely?
Speaker 7 (01:17:05):
Want to elaborate, absolutely.
Speaker 18 (01:17:08):
Yeah, so's you're not friends with someone? I know why
you're not friends with them? Why am I hanging out
with her? Why am I giving them conversation? That's showing
that I'm a lawyer to my friends.
Speaker 7 (01:17:18):
That's right, Okay, thank you, mama.
Speaker 2 (01:17:20):
Nothing to talk about.
Speaker 1 (01:17:21):
Hello, who's this?
Speaker 7 (01:17:24):
Hey, Divanna? We're asking, is your friend's enemy your enemy?
Speaker 31 (01:17:27):
I just it depends on what type of friend she is.
To one, she might just be a regular friend with
somebody's my best friend that was my best friend, and
a certain enemy, then absolutely my enemy is certain enemy.
But for the most part, if it's just some random
beats that they've gotten, you know, and me and the
other person might have a good accour and I can't
say that, but I can't sleep for Also, if they
get into a station, then I'm going to be on
my friend's side.
Speaker 7 (01:17:47):
One, okay, thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:17:50):
You know what it is, man.
Speaker 8 (01:17:51):
We all get to a certain age we know we
can't beat nobody up no more. That's really the problem.
Like when you're young, you can just run down on
people beat them up. But then you get to a
certain age you're like, you know, you can't beat nobody up,
and it's frustrating, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (01:18:04):
Well, I'm not dead yet, so yeah, I'm I'm, I'm, I'm,
I'm like headlocked, mold headlock.
Speaker 2 (01:18:10):
Say you're not dead yet either.
Speaker 9 (01:18:11):
I don't know why y'all want to be so old
of it on this show, but no, y'all can you
can y'all both work out? Y'all both you know, what
I'm saying, y'all, y'all fight probably maturely, but still maturely.
Speaker 8 (01:18:24):
You know that's true because I think about what I'm
gonna do to that person when I see him. I'm like,
you know what, I'm not gonna hurt that person. I'm like,
put him in a headlock, give him a little nuggy,
you know what I mean. I'm like twisted, you know,
just push him up, just push him, like, come in.
Speaker 1 (01:18:38):
Let me talk to you. You know that that is
so pokem like the Pillsbury dough boy pokemon in his stomach.
Come in, come in, man, talk to you.
Speaker 2 (01:18:47):
That's yay, like talking about come on the girl. How
are you doing?
Speaker 20 (01:18:54):
I'm going gray?
Speaker 13 (01:18:54):
How are yall?
Speaker 1 (01:18:56):
That's black and Holly.
Speaker 7 (01:18:57):
Favorite Is your friend's enemy your enemy?
Speaker 38 (01:19:00):
Definitely all depends because my friend is doing something dangerous.
For example, my brother was murdered by friend, and had
he known that this friend had this envy and jealousy
about him, he could probably still be alive today. So
it all definitely depends.
Speaker 20 (01:19:14):
If your friend is.
Speaker 37 (01:19:15):
Doing something they're not trying to take responsibility or do
something about it. They need to stay away from them,
and you need to let other people know about that
so that they don't get to cost me because somebody
can lose a life. Can I tell you aren't just
something regular anymore. That's an actual relationship, so you need
to take it serioy.
Speaker 8 (01:19:33):
I agree with you, queen, But man, I'm gonna tell
you something about us as black people, we say the
most traumatic thing so effortlessly.
Speaker 1 (01:19:39):
Like exactly what she just said.
Speaker 8 (01:19:41):
She just said it so effortlessly like it was nothing,
and you hung up on her like it was nothing
after she said something dramatic.
Speaker 4 (01:19:46):
Well, ain't.
Speaker 1 (01:19:48):
You ain't even give the girl no condolence? Did you
just hung up with the woman?
Speaker 8 (01:19:51):
I wanted to have a conversation with her about this
traumatic experience you just told her and I was talking
about it.
Speaker 1 (01:19:55):
Sorry you see that, just yeah, and just hung up.
Speaker 34 (01:20:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:20:01):
She was telling us like somebody killed her brother behind
side like that.
Speaker 8 (01:20:05):
So I'm sorry, queen, and me just hung up on
you with with the most disrespect. I don't know why,
but like I was saying, I just think it's uh,
it's just we just say the most traumatic things like.
Speaker 1 (01:20:16):
Yeah, yeah, I was saying that.
Speaker 2 (01:20:19):
She was saying, we gotta take it most serious. But
she was kind of cut off.
Speaker 1 (01:20:22):
A little bit. A little bit, you mean, when Emmy
just slammed the phone down on her for no damn reason.
Speaker 10 (01:20:27):
She got slammed the phone like hello, man, Hello, Were
you the one that just called it a second ago?
Speaker 11 (01:20:34):
No?
Speaker 1 (01:20:35):
Yeah, okay, you told us about your brother, your brother
that got killed.
Speaker 19 (01:20:39):
Oh no, I'm a person.
Speaker 1 (01:20:40):
No, okay, Well, since you're here, tell us your trauma.
Speaker 4 (01:20:43):
Since you're here, I.
Speaker 39 (01:20:47):
Wanted to answer the question about the friend, okay, So,
like it depends basically how long you knew the person,
because like my best friend, no matter if she like whoever,
she don't like them, I don't like them. But if
I like the person before.
Speaker 19 (01:21:02):
You and like you know, it depends on the situation.
Speaker 2 (01:21:05):
I was thinking about it.
Speaker 7 (01:21:07):
Well, thank you, thank you for your call.
Speaker 1 (01:21:09):
You hung up.
Speaker 2 (01:21:11):
Is crying now?
Speaker 4 (01:21:13):
Hung up on it?
Speaker 1 (01:21:13):
For no damn reason. No I did, because we gotta
go to Jess with the man. You ain't give no condolences,
no nothing for the mess.
Speaker 2 (01:21:21):
Now, y'all won't care.
Speaker 1 (01:21:22):
We always care about just with the mess.
Speaker 7 (01:21:24):
What's the moral of the story, guys?
Speaker 2 (01:21:25):
So the moral of the.
Speaker 9 (01:21:26):
Story in your case, maybe stop being loyal to everybody
like you know what I'm saying, like, just you know what,
mind your business because people not reciprocating the energy.
Speaker 2 (01:21:34):
I don't like that for you, So just stop, just stop.
Speaker 9 (01:21:39):
We know you're gonna go crazy about your family. Yes,
just don't even don't even give people that because people
don't deserve it. Charlamagne, he's a clown. Me the for me,
the moral of the story is, you know, just continues
to be loyal to your no man, all right, just
when the mess is coming up, and cash Doll addressed
(01:22:02):
the backlash because she got tired of people come and
I remember I was telling, oh, yesterday she broke our baby,
went online and was like, I'm all right, I'm okay.
She had some more to say, but I like what
she said because all women need to hear this, and
really really stopped listening.
Speaker 2 (01:22:15):
It's time ring about the messenger and listen to the message.
So we're gonna get to that, all.
Speaker 10 (01:22:18):
Right, we'll get to that next. It's the breakfast Club Morning,
the Breakfast Club.
Speaker 4 (01:22:24):
Go.
Speaker 1 (01:22:24):
Let's get right to Jess with the messie.
Speaker 2 (01:22:26):
You is real bass, Jeff robber Moore, just don't do
no lines.
Speaker 13 (01:22:30):
Don't do that.
Speaker 2 (01:22:32):
Talk nobody talk the world.
Speaker 1 (01:22:37):
Why jeffs worldwise mess on the Breakfast Club, She's the
coaching ship.
Speaker 23 (01:22:43):
She was able to get y'all to see something and
understand something that nobody.
Speaker 1 (01:22:48):
Could get you to see this time to set it off.
Speaker 9 (01:22:52):
Okay, so yesterday y'all are reported on Cash Doll and now,
so her break up from Tracy t that's her baby
daddy or whatever.
Speaker 2 (01:22:58):
And he just gave birth to a little girl named Clarity.
That's so nice. Just to you know, reaction, she said.
Speaker 9 (01:23:06):
She said, I know, right, and she found the clarity
to leave his as anyway, looks so single. And I
don't give an aff about what y'all saying about me
having two kids by him. Now, I'm just the baby mama,
blah blah blah. I'm not dealing with just anything to
keep my family together.
Speaker 2 (01:23:21):
That's what she said. Tracy he shared a video.
Speaker 9 (01:23:24):
Seemingly unbothered but very much bothered at the same time,
and then Cash Doll hopped on social media to address
the people that was reacting to her breakup.
Speaker 2 (01:23:32):
That's what she said, Oh.
Speaker 1 (01:23:34):
Man, about my breakup?
Speaker 8 (01:23:35):
More to me.
Speaker 22 (01:23:36):
Why y'all keep coming out here talk about y'all? Sorry,
for my breakup.
Speaker 2 (01:23:39):
Leave me alone. I ain't sorry.
Speaker 22 (01:23:42):
I feel like it's women y'all should just we should
put ourselves first anyway. And I ain't got nothing to
do with just men. It's just period. We bring so
much to the table. It's just because now y'all got
to go to the court. That's all that do. Yeah, then,
especially when you have a little girl, you just be like,
oh no, I'm not dealing with that. Time you wait
on the right thing. You won't never have no money kids,
(01:24:02):
and we're here to reproduce. So guess what I had.
My kids they here and I love them.
Speaker 2 (01:24:06):
They mine.
Speaker 22 (01:24:07):
Whoever got something to say about her?
Speaker 2 (01:24:09):
So three things about what she said? Okay, so she
was like, I don't know why y'all keep coming on here.
Speaker 9 (01:24:13):
It's about sorry about that's because you told us, bab
and people actually love you and they love that you
didn't put up you know, your relationship on Front Street.
It just looks like y'all happy, And what people don't
know is is is better?
Speaker 2 (01:24:27):
You know what I mean? But apparently you were going
through some things behind the scenes and you just got
fed up. Had you ed your baby? Was like, all right,
I'm done.
Speaker 1 (01:24:33):
That's cool.
Speaker 9 (01:24:35):
The thing that she said about, uh, women putting themselves first,
I do agree with that.
Speaker 2 (01:24:41):
We do take a lot off of men.
Speaker 9 (01:24:43):
You know, I've taken a lot off of men, Charlamagne,
you're you've taken a lot off of men as well.
So I know that you can deal with putting yourself first,
you know, I know you fut of women.
Speaker 2 (01:24:51):
Okay.
Speaker 9 (01:24:52):
And then the third thing that she said about marriage,
because I disagree with that.
Speaker 2 (01:24:59):
I love me some, but I disagree with that marriage.
Speaker 9 (01:25:03):
Yeah, you have to be a bit more mature when
you're thinking about a marriage, not a wedding. Marriage when
you that's like a covenant, that's a commitment.
Speaker 2 (01:25:13):
That's yeah.
Speaker 9 (01:25:13):
Some people look at it as a contract and a
business deal for by the state or the government whatever
wherever they get married at. But that's like a whole
another step to your life with your partner. That's not
just your boyfriend, your girlfriend, your baby.
Speaker 1 (01:25:25):
Fall you're a brain to share your life with somebody else.
Speaker 9 (01:25:28):
Yeah, that's yeah, and that's different. It's not just about you.
It's about that unity, you know what I mean. And
she kind of downplayed it a little bit, and that's
how she feel I'm not describing how she feel, but
to say, I don't, uh what damn what she said?
Speaker 23 (01:25:41):
I do?
Speaker 1 (01:25:42):
I do feel like you know.
Speaker 8 (01:25:43):
And there was one thing that she said that I've
heard a lot of women say recently, and it's sad,
right because it's like, damn, how did you get to
that point where she said, I don't I think I'm paraphrasm,
but basically I don't need a man to have a baby.
You know, I couldn't even if you may, you may
not can find it right man, but you can have
people want kids, which is cool, but you know, I'm
just like, damn. A lot of women are saying that though, yeah, are.
Speaker 1 (01:26:06):
Men that bad?
Speaker 11 (01:26:06):
Out?
Speaker 1 (01:26:06):
Is it that much of a shortage of men?
Speaker 39 (01:26:08):
Are?
Speaker 22 (01:26:08):
Is it?
Speaker 1 (01:26:09):
Where is this disconnect between men and women?
Speaker 4 (01:26:11):
They say it is?
Speaker 7 (01:26:12):
They said, it's a lot of unhealed men and women
can't find the right one.
Speaker 9 (01:26:15):
A lot of women doing a lot of unhealed women
as well, you know what I mean. And they try
to sweep that under the rug.
Speaker 1 (01:26:20):
But that's truth.
Speaker 9 (01:26:21):
Just as a human race, just no matter what sex
you are, there are a lot of unhealed I mean
unhealed hand huge.
Speaker 1 (01:26:27):
People, huge huge people. Man been causing problems for a
long time.
Speaker 10 (01:26:33):
But you know, a lot of times women don't want
to wait. They don't want to wait for the quote
unquote right one. They want a child, they want to
raise a child young, or they want to raise a
child when they feel like they want to, and they're
tired of waiting.
Speaker 9 (01:26:44):
Basically what I was trying to say with a showman
coming off and didn't know what he was about to
say either, when he was saying, like what she said
about marriage, she was like, No, the only thing they're
talking about marriage and the ring and all of that.
The only thing, only difference between a relationship and a
marriage is it's just harder to break up. You gotta
go in court. No, it's the biggest, it's bigger than that.
(01:27:04):
That's what I mean by people don't look at marriage
like like for what it really is. You know what
I'm saying, Like the whole is more much more sacred.
Speaker 1 (01:27:14):
Marriage is what happens marriages, what happened?
Speaker 8 (01:27:16):
You know how we always say we go together, Yeah,
going well to the all two, that's what marriage is,
you know what I'm saying, Like, that's what that marriage
is the destination from going together, right, okay, but yeah.
Speaker 9 (01:27:27):
I wanted to update the story because I reported it yesterday.
But I do like she said, more women should put
them themselves first anyway, Yeah, absolutely, and whether that be
after two babies, what a guy, one baby, whatever, after
you got it wrong so many times.
Speaker 2 (01:27:40):
It just is what it is. Start putting yourself first.
Speaker 1 (01:27:43):
You know, yep. And that's one if you got if
you need all.
Speaker 2 (01:27:48):
Right, yes, so look right, you ate that up?
Speaker 7 (01:27:50):
Just why you know what?
Speaker 2 (01:27:53):
What is so stupid?
Speaker 4 (01:27:55):
What?
Speaker 2 (01:27:56):
I don't care? Ahead, So Cardi argues with this TikTok user.
Speaker 9 (01:28:01):
Right, So the reason why I reporting this story, I'm
tired of Cardy doing this because she's way too important
to be doing this.
Speaker 2 (01:28:07):
I don't care like.
Speaker 9 (01:28:08):
So she went back and forth on Twitter with this
girl whatever, right, so she said. The girl said, why
does Cardi be feel like she's above criticism? You know,
all her pairs are dropping albums and doing progressive things
in their career and she sticks out like a sore
thumb blah blah blah. So Cardy went in on it
and was like, bitch, you got three stomachs, so don't
(01:28:29):
worry about me.
Speaker 8 (01:28:30):
Yeah, That's what I'm talking about Cary, I want Tom
Bardy f healing.
Speaker 1 (01:28:35):
It's time to traumatize everybody back that traumatizing you.
Speaker 2 (01:28:38):
Like she I guess she got sick of it.
Speaker 9 (01:28:40):
But the video, the girl made a video and this
is what she said about Cardy before y'all start.
Speaker 34 (01:28:46):
No, she came and found my tweet after all the
tweets that I was tweeting to praise her, and chose
that one, and she should have stood on it. Now,
don't delete nothing, because I'm just now seeing it and
I just woke up and it hit the blase. You
caught redhanded all that bad bien. You thought she was
going behind Joe button and clearing him for you're doing
the same thing. I can hide Joe hand as mama's.
(01:29:08):
It ain't an edge of schedule in the mother world
could ever make me feel bad about my body. You'll
touch everything on you, and you still got so many
insecurities because you can't keep your husband at home.
Speaker 22 (01:29:17):
You the pay for to get beat up because they
want to the same.
Speaker 34 (01:29:20):
At the end of the day, you would have sat
there and paid for everything on you and you still insecure.
Speaker 2 (01:29:27):
So after she did all that, nothing rights.
Speaker 9 (01:29:31):
None of this is I'm telling you yeah, just because
she YO said you thought you got away baby, you
couldn't run and catch me if he was outside.
Speaker 2 (01:29:38):
So that's the thing.
Speaker 9 (01:29:39):
Anyway, she posted her This girl posted her and Offset
DM and said, I heard you were single. Now I
got some things I want to do to you when
you get free.
Speaker 17 (01:29:48):
Let me know.
Speaker 2 (01:29:49):
We can go over details.
Speaker 1 (01:29:50):
So she pull the girl, the girl that did that
video just now did that.
Speaker 4 (01:29:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:29:54):
Oh, I was praising her during her break up.
Speaker 9 (01:29:57):
Now this is around the same time that she actually
was praising her because because she was tweeting about, you know,
when Offset and Cardi broke up, she had tweeted Offset
missed his true blessing. He ain't gonna get another woman
as lawyer, as supportive and supportive as Cardi b She
came into his life and added value and such and
such and all of that.
Speaker 2 (01:30:13):
Right, But now you in this mad DM.
Speaker 9 (01:30:16):
So she Cardy had posted it and it was like,
so the whole time this was this is what it
was about. You made it about my album, my plastic surgery,
my marriage and all that because you wanted to sleep
with my baby dad.
Speaker 2 (01:30:26):
Y'all are so weird.
Speaker 9 (01:30:28):
But see that's what happens when you let anybody get
into your mind.
Speaker 2 (01:30:32):
This is still at anybody.
Speaker 9 (01:30:33):
Okay, three stomachs, Yeah she do got them, so she
wasn't eligible for offset anyway. But I'm just saying like, yeah,
she wasn't eligible, he wasn't qualified, He wasn't he ain't
never answered to damn anyway.
Speaker 2 (01:30:43):
But he's so you dumb.
Speaker 9 (01:30:44):
You made yourself look dumber anyway. But like Cardi, why
are you even arguing with her?
Speaker 2 (01:30:48):
Because she got a check next to our name.
Speaker 1 (01:30:49):
Cardi got better things to do. Cardi got better things
to do, and the young lady got better things to do.
I'm sure probably not, probably not.
Speaker 2 (01:30:57):
We see what's going on. So it's just like, no,
I think that was so dumb.
Speaker 9 (01:31:01):
But Carl, you've got to stop giving these people because
you know how many followers that girl got off that.
Speaker 2 (01:31:08):
Crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:31:09):
I do agree.
Speaker 10 (01:31:09):
I think Cardis should just leave them alone, man, And
he's no sense because you'd be going at all these people.
You give them more light than they actually need. But
sometimes Cardi b feels like you gotta get her rocks off.
Like you throw you throw a shot at me, I'm
gonna throw a shot back at you. Sometimes people feel like,
because I'm not a celebrity, I can throw as many
shots as you as I want.
Speaker 7 (01:31:25):
Nobody's gonna say anything. And sometimes you just need that
to pop somebody's hands.
Speaker 1 (01:31:28):
Sometimes they think you're the bigger person.
Speaker 4 (01:31:29):
That's right.
Speaker 1 (01:31:31):
All right, well thank you, that's just what the mess
that is. Now let's get to the mix of scull
warning everybody in.

Speaker 8 (01:31:51):

I'm excited about time, about damn time. That's something that
I've been staying and screaming for, you know, a minute.
Speaker 10 (01:31:59):
Okay, so it feels a lot better. I just felt
Biden was it wasn't for me. He felt like he
had early signs of dementia. He felt like he's slow.
It didn't feel like he could run for another four years.
So I've been super duper excited that Kamala Harris, who's
been up here three times, who's an HBCUs a.
Speaker 1 (01:32:14):
Bit more than that, You think so maybe it was three.
Speaker 8 (01:32:16):
I mean, well, yeah, and I interviewed her on my
TV show, but you know, I yeah, he's accessible. Yeah,
I've been saying for the past year, better than for
the good of the country, you know, Biden should step aside,
and because all the negatives he had simply weren't going
to change. And I was asking a simple question, can
Biden beat Donald Trump? The answer to me was no.
Now I don't know if Vice Bresident Kamala Harris can
beat Trump either, but I know I'd rather roll the
(01:32:36):
dice with her then, you know, roll the dice with
a president Biden. Absolutely, yes, all right.
Speaker 1 (01:32:42):
You know it is what it is. I'm happy to
see the energy that's around her, but that don't guarantee nothing.
