Speaker 5 (01:10):
It was very, very, very busy. I had a lot
of changes in my business. But I got to give
away with with the Ravens. We did like a toy
drive and then I got to actually go to the
Ravens game. They played the Browns Saturday. Ash went to
his first tailgating.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Yeah, little event. Yeah, it was cool.

Speaker 5 (01:29):
He got the meet for Davious Why he got this
first NFL ball that gave him a ball. He got
the meat and dap up, Lamar Jackson, Tylan Wallace and
uh Henry.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
So yeah, Henry, it's.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
Good that you finally started representing your Baltimore Ravens. I
know you was Stealings fan for long, but you know
it's so funny that you know y'all playing them in
the first round of the playoffs. So that's three times
y'all played it. No, four times I think y'all played
in this shire.

Speaker 5 (01:53):
No, it's three, it's three and and that game is
this Saturday, but I can't go because damn, I got
a show in California. So I would love to be
there for that, but I wouldn't at the same time
because it's kind of gonna be mixed feelings a little bit.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
But it's all right, all right.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
What about you, Chela Mane, What you did over the weekend?

Speaker 7 (02:09):
You know what?

Speaker 4 (02:10):
The holidays? The holiday, I was cooling, you know what
I mean. I went to one of my favorite places
in the world, the beautiful island of Anguilla. Drop on
the Clues Bombs fan, So I was there for majority
of the time. Okay, after Christmas, Yeah, right after Christmas,
I got up out of here, so you got a
chance to relax. Yeah. I got back Sunday afternoon, actually
Sunday evening.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Actually, that's nice.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
You talk about you ry, How was you to break y'all?

Speaker 6 (02:31):
You know what, My son he wasn't able to come
home because you know, he plays football, so they were
for his birthday. For Christmas, he was in Miami, so
he had a game in Atlanta, so we flew down
to his game out in Orlando. They actually lost, but
came back and then when we got back, we had
like a big Monopoly family. Like Monopoly could have actually
bruin our family. Like we argue, we beef, we bicker,

(02:53):
but we love it and we play every night. So
he goes, he heads back this week. So it was
the first time in a long time that the whole
family was at the house. So we just enjoyed Christmas,
enjoyed the holidays. My parents over for a while, and
which is all family. Family, family, family, family, family. Happy
to be back.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
At work, Happy to be back at work, and don't
feel like I missed nothing, even though it feels like
we missed a lot. Yeah, all, y'all negroes don't do
nothing but argue and fuss and fight online. That's it.

Speaker 6 (03:18):
But you know what, I stayed offline. I had to
recap capturevity.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
That was going on.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
This It's hard to stay off because then you got
group chats and people be sending you links and stuff
in group chats, and I'm like, does anybody got anything?
It's the holidays, anybody got anything good to say?

Speaker 5 (03:32):
That's why I say it wasn't hard for I did
not open up no links. I actually did unplugg and
I actually took that from one of the interviews that
we did with Shanty Dies that when we when she
came up here with her pamphlet. Yeah, I unplugged, and
I actually did more work than leisure, but I still
unplugged and I had a nice little sacred vacation.

Speaker 6 (03:54):
So there you go. All right, Well, let's get the
show cracking. We got front page dues when we come back,
so it don't go anywhere.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
It's the break this Club, Good morning warning.

Speaker 6 (04:01):
Everybody is DJ Envy, Jess Hilarious, Charlomage the guy.

Speaker 3 (04:05):

Speaker 6 (04:06):
Let's get in some front page news. All right, now, Sports,
Now my giants are out, Charlamagne, how's your cowboys?

Speaker 4 (04:14):
Ask a stupid ass question.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
I just want to hear you say it.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
Why that makes no sense. Don't come into twenty twenty
five with the same contradictions hypocrisy.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
But you said they were gonna make it to the
Super Bowl. I was just checking out.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
I say that every year, did you see on your
sleeve right now, since nineteen ninety six, I'm just saying
that since that same time, right there, Jesus last super
Bowls nineteen ninety five, Well, this would be well, I
am over my cowboys.

Speaker 6 (04:34):
Well, this Saturday, the Charges take on the Texans at
four thirty, Steelers take on the Ravens. At eight, the
Broncis take on the Buffalo Bills, Packers take on the Eagles,
Commanders take on the Buccaneers, and on Monday, the Vikings
take on the Rams. Some quick sports and also salute
to the Seawan Jackson. He will become Delaware State's head
football coach.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
They got a football team, Yes they do. I did
not know that, man, he will be the head coach.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
They've been at a team. They're not just creating a
team for Shawn Jackson.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Nicolech They could be. I'm not sure.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Oh you know what, I'm lying because the ARCon State
University Bulldogs beat them, but like eighty to zero early
this year. That's when I first heard of them. Damn yes,
all right, So flut to Dell State. Good morning, grass
to Shawn Jackson, saluted to Shawan Jackson.

Speaker 8 (05:18):
Yes, good morning, good morning, congrats to the Shawn Jackson.
We love to see the HBC you love and shout
out to the Ravens block.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Good morning, Jess MV and Charlemagne. Glad to hear you.
Guys had a great a good break.

Speaker 8 (05:30):
You know, a lot has happened since I spoke to
you guys last year, including the death of former President
Jimmy Carter, a New Years Sarah's attack on New Orleans,
a cyber truck exploded outside of a Trump International Hotel
in Las Vegas, and President Biden issue pardons and medals
of freedom. Not to mention, your one hundred and nineteenth
Congress has convened and peacefully, for the most part, certified

(05:51):
the twenty twenty four election results of President elect Donald
Trump in a joint session. Here's Vice President Kamala Harris
making the announcement.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Do we have that audio?

Speaker 9 (06:01):
No?

Speaker 2 (06:03):
Okay, so Vice President con.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Change is air at the breakfast. Problem doesn't matter what's
twenty twenty five today, what.

Speaker 10 (06:10):
I have done my entire career, which has takes seriously
the oath that I have taken many times.

Speaker 11 (06:16):
America's democracy is only as strong as our willingness to.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Fight for it well.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
Harris said her it did.

Speaker 8 (06:27):
Harris said she upheld her constitutional duty to ensure the
peaceful transfer of power, calling it a sacred obligation.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
The electoral count reform.

Speaker 8 (06:36):
Excuse me when it comes to the your one hundred
and nineteenth Congress that convened last Friday on the January third.
The House of Representative Republicans hold a narrow majority of
two hundred nineteen seats to the Democrats two hundred and fifteen,
while the Senate comprises of fifteen Republicans and forty seven Democrats.
Now a record sixty two members of that congressional of

(06:57):
the Congress is black. It's the first time two black
women simultaneously serving in the Senate. Shout out Angela also
brooks from my state Woop Woop, Maryland and the blunt
Rochester of Delaware, and speaking of Delawares, a lot of
news coming out of Delaware.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Sarah McBride.

Speaker 8 (07:12):
She is the first openly transgender person to serve in
the US Congress and was elected to represent Delawares at
large Congressional district. And Emily Randall out of Washington State
is the first openly LGBTQ plus Latina to serve in
the US House of Representatives.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
And Julie Johnson out.

Speaker 8 (07:27):
Of Texas as the first openly LGBTQ plus member representing
a Southern state in the US House of Representatives. So
things are underway, and your Congress is officially off to
work for in preparation for, you know, President ELEC. Trump's
second term. Now, House Speaker Mike Johnson says that Congress

(07:48):
will hit the ground running. He told Fox News Sunday
Morning Futures that the Republican lawmakers are working on a
large reconciliation package that would address all of President Elects
priorities early on in his term. He wants to have
one huge bill that he wants to sign. Let's hear
from Mike Johnson.

Speaker 12 (08:05):
I think at the end of the day, President Trump
is going to prefer, as he likes to say, one big,
beautiful bill, and there's a lot of merit to that
because we can put it all together one big up
or down vote, which can save the country. You know,
we're fifteen days out from the inauguration of President Donald J.
Trump for his second term, and we want to make
sure that we're jump starting the agenda now over the

(08:26):
next two weeks so that he's prepared and ready on
day one, and so we'll be a dressing boarder.

Speaker 4 (08:30):
We've got a number of bills just.

Speaker 12 (08:31):
Over the next two weeks that we're going to address
the low hanging fruit, so to speak.

Speaker 8 (08:37):
Yeah, So there is some pushback on that. You know,
a lot of GOP members don't want to rope in
energy bills with border pills and tax policies. But you know,
we'll see what happens over the next few weeks as
we approach inauguration, which is set to happen on January
twenty eighth, which is also the same day as MLK Day.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
Yeah, it's definitely a lot going on. But it is
incredible to that Democrats are playing so nice after all
the talk of Trump being the end of democracy, Trump
being a fascist. It's like they're not keeping the same
energy at all. You can't call a man a fascist
and a dictator, but when you win, throw all that
rhetoric out the window, unless, of course, it was just
politics and you never believed it. Meanwhile, Republicans keep that
same energy. Did you see the husband of Senator Deborah

(09:19):
Fisher not even shake the vps? And yes, it's crazy
because Republicans draw clear lines in the sand. They signal
to their base every time that they don't like Democrats.
Democrats are terrible for the country and not worthy of
any respect.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
Nonetheless, your vote.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
How about not respecting your wife on the world stage?
But I won't get too much.

Speaker 4 (09:40):
But they're thinking about the future though they thinking about
the midterms. They don't care about that. They're thinking about
the midterms like, no, this is the enemy. Please remember
this in a couple of years when the midterms come.

Speaker 6 (09:48):
All right, well, that is front page news. We'll see
your next hour, Morgan.

Speaker 8 (09:51):
All right, Yes, we will talk more in the next
hour about the morning period that we are in regarding
President Jimmy Carter.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
All right, everybody else, get it off. Yes, eight hundred

Speaker 3 (10:51):
I seen you, I've seen you are dog watching Yeah yeah.

Speaker 15 (10:54):
Yeah, I have my little my little, my little nephew.
I was watching fads while Taylor was in Gone. We
had an amazing you know, little holiday.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
Why you ain't called me? So we can make times
disappear man, or at least make Tailor think tames disappeared.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
Man.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
You can't even babysitting you have Tailor. No, you can't
be babysitting people dogs and just give them back. No,
you gotta put some pressure on it. Make you think
you lost your dog draft Jesus Christ.

Speaker 15 (11:18):
I told him I gonna keep her dog, but she
said she wasn't kieling that. But no, I was want
to say happy New Year to everybody. I have them
to talk about. Ain't gonna be negative starting because I
was kissed off yesterday. What was passed off about at Uber?
I ain't gonna talk about it. Uber really like really
irked my nerve yesterday by sending somebody on the bike
to deliver my whole platter to me. I ain't gonna

(11:41):
talk about it. I want to friend of negativity.

Speaker 13 (11:43):
This.

Speaker 4 (11:43):
I thought you thought you. I thought you called some
bunkie and ouble like he was trying to get some
bunky over a little a little piece of trade to
the house.

Speaker 15 (11:50):
Oh God, listen, y'all have a gay new year. Everybody
have a happy, happy new year. All right, y'all stay
gay this year.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
Goodbye draft. Hello. Who's this? This is Mike from you Newburgh?
What's up chest Newburgh? What up?

Speaker 4 (12:02):
Newburgh? Low to everybody in Newburgh? Man, good the morning.

Speaker 7 (12:05):
Everybody can morning, everybody can want to just wander.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
Everybody Homa partisan Fontaine, I said.

Speaker 7 (12:11):
That's my god party. Hey, I got a problem today
with this congestion price. And man, I come back from
a vacation of my family driving to New York City
and they charging me twice as much just to get
to work in the morning. I'm obviously, you know, don't
live here, but this is crazy to me, and it's
only gonna go higher. Like, we gotta do something, man,
I need my Newburg people to step up. We gotta

(12:32):
fix something out with this because this is getting out
of control.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
It don't make any it makes no.

Speaker 6 (12:38):
No, it makes no sense. And then an amount that
it's went up is ridiculous. And I mean I see
the staff as you know, everybody's coming into work a
lot earlier now because I mean, you can't afford it.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
It's expensive as hell.

Speaker 6 (12:49):
And it's not just the fact that you got to
pay for congestion prices, which is basically to drive in
the city, but the tolls to get in New York
City is expensive.

Speaker 4 (12:56):
It's already fifteen dollars to come through the Highland Tunnel.
It is a salute everybody listening to us all around
the country. I'll probably don't know what we're talking about,
but you know, you come through the Hollands, you gotta
pay fifteen dollars. Now you're in New York City and
driving through certain parts of New York you gotta pay
nine dollars. It's like, yo, what are y'all thinking about it?
And and it'd be one thing if we knew where
his money was going.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
New York looks and smells like trash, y'all. It just does.

Speaker 7 (13:21):
And here's the crazy part too, Not to cut you
off if you don't pay that. They put these crazy
fines on you. I'm fighting the case right now with
them for like ten dances on the fine, then a
budget off us, damn fifty tickets, fifty your ticket, and
then they hold the information and don't give it to
you too. It's too late, and.

Speaker 14 (13:38):
I work for the one got on a railroads.

Speaker 7 (13:40):
Don't gotta come in.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
Dang, well, thank you for checking in, Mike, you.

Speaker 7 (13:43):
Already have a good morning. Be plased.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
All that money we spend in New York and it
don't even look like New York. Don't look like Charlotte.
Arlotte is a beautiful city. New York. Don't look like Chicago.
Chicago's a beautiful city. New York don't look like Dallas.
Dallas is beautiful city. I was looking at the top
ten cleaning cities in America. You think New York on
that list? No, absolutely not. Lynch Burg, Virginia, dul Off, Minnesota, Redwood, California.
I have never even been to none of those places.

Speaker 6 (14:03):
But not even that. Like they want people to take
public transportation. Do you see what's going on in the train.
People getting pushed on the train tracks. One person got
burned to death. The other day people are getting sliced
and robbed. Who wants to take a train? I don't,
I wouldn't, But get it off your chest. Eight hundred
five eight five one oh five one. If you need
to vent phone lines to wide open, it's to breakfast club.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
Good morning, the breakfast Club.

Speaker 17 (14:40):

Speaker 3 (14:41):
He'll tell you what it is.

Speaker 2 (14:42):

Speaker 13 (14:45):
Hello.

Speaker 18 (14:45):
Who's this dude from Carolina?

Speaker 3 (14:47):
They do some Carolina's up?

Speaker 4 (14:49):
Get off here, Carolina. You call it from north of
South South Carolina.

Speaker 18 (14:52):
I met you in Nsberg at Crystal.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
Hey sleuthed everybody that's been pulling up the crystal man.
You know, if you go, if you if you go
to South Carolina, state of clapland then you show your
college ib do you get a discount at crystalin Ardbird

Speaker 18 (15:05):
This is what happened in Arnsberg. I met you at
the top like you was leaving, and I gave you
two of my wrap around to of my own design.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
Oh yeah, I remember, yeah, because.

Speaker 18 (15:16):
Made you my prototype broke.

Speaker 4 (15:18):
Yeah, he got these shirts. You know how people like
to tie their hoodies around their waist, Like he actually
created a product that, uh it's like a shirt of
something that you around your waist. Yes, yeah, So go
on my.

Speaker 18 (15:30):
You can go on my page. I got's my name
is Duke on my page and you can see like
one of my designs on there, like my first picture.
You can see where I'm wearing it or whatever. Like
I went through so much to get that to you, Charla, Man,
you just don't know.

Speaker 4 (15:44):
What's the name of the company.

Speaker 13 (15:46):
Of the company, so the name of.

Speaker 18 (15:48):
The company is gonna be luck Style by Duke. It's
like a lagerious clothing wear. But the item that I
gave you was called a wrap around. So, like I said,
I went through so much to get that to you,
and I was actually at work. I was driving that
dunk truck and I left work and I drove the
drunk the dark trunk home to get the product and

(16:10):
then I brought it back to you and I asked jump, like,
where's arlomaon charlomage? He was like oh he's at the night,
don't catch it. So that's what made me run to
the truck because I was like, man, dang, I need
to get the toe.

Speaker 4 (16:21):
Well, thank you for the wrap around. You know, I
did have one question about the wrap around. You know
we put our hoodies around our waist and stuff because
you know we wear the hoodie. What am I supposed
to do with the rap around when it ain't wrapped
around me?

Speaker 19 (16:32):
Oh?

Speaker 18 (16:32):
So be honest, Like, like I said, I went through
so much to get that to you. I was actually
making you. A cow was on and I wasn't supposed
to be at work that day, but they asked me
to come in. So the ones that you got was
actually was like made for me. It was tailor for me.
Got so when I didn't got yours made, I just
ran home and got the two ones that I made

(16:53):
for myself, and I gave him the youth.

Speaker 4 (16:56):
So I actually the prottle pipe. So basically I had
the cowboys on my ass. It's like the wrap around
the waist and the cowboys start being right. You got
not a bad idea? Now, yes, not a bad idea.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Don't women usually put the hoodies around their ways to.

Speaker 5 (17:10):
Come absolutely, Usually only women. Yeah, but it's cool that
he got it.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
He got a unisex God do that too. I never
seen it? Yeah, I love. I'd love to see.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
It got too. I did that in the airport when
I when I come run landed in Woolla's wombs. I
took my hoodie off and I tied it around my waist.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
Wrapped right.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
He got cover the assets, he got, cover them asset.

Speaker 5 (17:31):
But this is an intentional I mean intentional piece of
clothing that encourages men to wrap around the waist. I love.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
I love to see it.

Speaker 4 (17:39):
I mean that was my question when he gave to me.
I'm like, what am I supposed to do? It just's
not wrapped around my waist, you.

Speaker 20 (17:44):
Know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (17:46):
Hello, who's this?

Speaker 20 (17:48):
I'm calling from Alabama.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
Hey Brianna from Alabama. Good morning. Get it off your chest.

Speaker 20 (17:52):
I really don't have anything to get off my chests.
I just want to give my girls a shout out.

games they have to You're rich today, so I'm just
wishing them well, protection and all of the.

Eight hundred and five eight five, one oh five one.
Now we got just with the mess coming up. What

Speaker 13 (18:17):

Speaker 5 (18:17):
Twenty twenty four ended in shambles. We got ray j
might be with Sukiyana real bad right now? Okay, thunk
young thug might have lost Mariah to the streets. Oh boy,
Mariah Carey got a new young thing. We i'ma run
it down.

Speaker 6 (18:29):
Okay, all right, we'll get to the all that next week.
Come back, so don't move. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning,
the breakfast.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
Club owning everybody.

Speaker 6 (18:38):
It's the j en Vy, Jess hilarious, Charlamagne, the guy.
We are the Breakfast Club. Let's get to Jess with
the mess.

Speaker 4 (18:45):
Just hilarious, superstar. Yes, funny. Now you're just with the mess.
You're new you rich.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
She's so funny.

Speaker 3 (18:51):
I gotta say that. She's one of my favorite people
on Instagram.

Speaker 21 (18:55):
Princess hilarious, hilarious, Robby more.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
On the Breakfast Club.

Speaker 19 (19:05):
Damn, Jess, what's the news today?

Speaker 4 (19:09):
Oh wow? Taylor was working over the holiday, breaking.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
Especially Donald Taylor.

Speaker 5 (19:17):
Right right, right, anyway, all right, so we got a
lot to get to. Judge rules that jay Z his accuser,
you know Shorty that was accusing him of raping her
with with Diddy when she was thirteen at the vm
maas in two thousand. The judge said that she can
keep her identity a secret, which I think is completely bocus.
If you're causing all this havoc and you're just out
accusing me of things, you should be able to show

(19:37):
your face. The judge also called out jay Z's attorney,
saying that he was combative and trying to fast track
the case.

Speaker 4 (19:44):
Which made no sense to me because the attorneys supposed
to do.

Speaker 5 (19:48):
Attorney's doing his job, especially if I didn't do it,
and this is my this is what I'm saying, I
didn't do it.

Speaker 6 (19:54):
So yeah, but the judge also, you should if you
accuse somebody, should you should be able to show yourself,
right because having that she's doing the jay Z and
everything that he's losing in the stress that he's putting
it through, especially if it's a crime, we should see
the person who's doing it.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
I don't even think you should be allowed to file anonymously.

Speaker 5 (20:14):
Well, the judge did say that as the case moves
forward that they will revisit this or whatever. And the
judge also ruled that jay Z is able to file
an amendment to dismiss get the amendment dismissed.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
That's what they said.

Speaker 4 (20:28):
I wonder if j Z celebrity is going to hinder
him in this situation, meaning that this is a frivolous case.
You could tell that probably should already be dismissed, But
because he's a celebrity, the judge doesn't one it look
like they're showing favoritism towards him, so they won't dismiss
it as fast as they.

Speaker 3 (20:42):
And not only that, it's a lot of celebrities are.

Speaker 6 (20:45):
Going through it right now, so you can't just dismiss
this one without looking for the facts of the other one.
So you have to quote unquote a lot of women
to you know what I got.

Speaker 4 (20:53):
To do with everybody else? I can't think got none
to do with everybody else.

Speaker 7 (20:56):
Case.

Speaker 4 (20:56):
I agree with you.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
I agree with you.

Speaker 6 (20:59):
A bunch of what the lady did in the interview
already proved that it's Matt holes in his case, So
why are we even entertaining that that's what.

Speaker 4 (21:05):
I'm saying the judge probably would have already dismissed it,
but they probably don't look like they buckle into the
pressure about Alex.

Speaker 5 (21:11):
Spira crazy all right, Moving forward, Tyrees reunited with his
daughter Shila.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
That's real quick.

Speaker 5 (21:17):
He spent the holidays celebrating his birthday with his daughter,
Shala and his girlfriend. Now y'all know, Syla was the
baby girl. He was crying over us his daughter, and
things was a little hectic with them since he divorced
her mom, I mean, well since the divorce with her
mom or whatever. But this ain't the first time that
they got reacquainted, but this is the first time that
we've actually seen them on like some daddy daughter time.

(21:39):
So it's actually good shout out to them. Footage released
of young Thugs speaking on Maria, of scientists and all
of that. So when we left twenty twenty four, Thug
was home and he seemed real happy to be going
into the new year, or so we thought. Videos was
released of his video visits while he was locked up,
and this is interesting. So the first one that they

(22:02):
released was a video where he was talking to Lena
Devin Hainey's baby mother, right, and Lena is telling this
man that she wants to be with him.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
We got audio for it. Love the Summer.

Speaker 5 (22:13):
Long, the I don't like anyone.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
I don't like anyone.

Speaker 14 (22:31):
You, I don't like them.

Speaker 7 (22:34):
I don't want you.

Speaker 5 (22:36):
Are you laughing because this is a stupideo. This is
I don't like anyone? Like, shut up anyway. Lena responded
to that all of this happened before she met Devin
uh and that baby is like a couple of days old,
fresh out pop poppity right out real quick. So, but
she did say this is before she met him. Thug
went out bad again though. The second video that was

(22:58):
released is when he was talking to one of his
friends about Mariah and his his friend had called him
basically letting him know, Mariah Loo, she f with you
like this is your girl. You know what I'm saying,
And then he was saying to his friend. This is
what he said to his friend. We got audio for it.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
You got you got her in her shieldings?

Speaker 7 (23:11):
Man, what happened?

Speaker 13 (23:13):
You know?

Speaker 3 (23:14):
I'm just saying she loves you, man.

Speaker 13 (23:16):
Oh for sure, like overly?

Speaker 3 (23:18):
Yeah, like too much?

Speaker 22 (23:20):
Sometimes too much?

Speaker 3 (23:21):
What like it scares you how much?

Speaker 19 (23:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 13 (23:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 22 (23:24):
Because he's like damn if I do something, if I like,
if I meant something or something like that, you got
to be stated, and that they don't like when it's
like when you feel like me being in here, always
being ever stayed in definility, that's when it's like you
too too deep. But I'm gonna love it though for

(23:44):
sure I ain't even studying.

Speaker 5 (23:48):
Yeah, well I kind of get what he was saying,
but basically, in a nutshell, he not ready to grow up,
is what he was saying to his homeboy, Like he
don't think that he would be able to give her
the type of love that she would need or whatever.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
He's still gonna mess around. He was scared of messing
up when he got out.

Speaker 5 (24:00):
But and then he also responded to the leaner thing
when he said, if I want to shut you, I
could have it, but I got who I want. And
then he posted sorry to my baby for all of
this bs on the internet. I love your baby. F
m all, we all know what's up with us. So
they still spent Christmas together and everything.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
It was on a ski trip.

Speaker 6 (24:18):
Yeah, but you know I was still getting f for
a lot. But who's releasing these calls? That's because jail
and the jail and authorities are the only ones that
have these calls. And these calls have nothing to do
with his case. I mean, this is his personal life and.

Speaker 5 (24:30):
It was very intentional to post it like right for Christmas,
Christmas Eve.

Speaker 6 (24:34):
Damn embarrassing, which is fed up? That's what I would
be trying to figure out who released those calls?

Speaker 3 (24:38):
And Kenny Super.

Speaker 4 (24:39):
Release the call, the jail released the cause. And you
can't sue because they tell you that you're being recorded.

Speaker 6 (24:43):
But those calls are supposed to be Who authority supposed
to get those calls?

Speaker 4 (24:46):
Who said that?

Speaker 3 (24:47):
When you look it up, it says the authority is
supposed to keep those released.

Speaker 4 (24:51):
You never read the fine print, Just like when y'all
get on social media and y'all accept just to be
on these sites. I don't know what y'all don't know
what the hell y'a don't know the fine print of
these calls.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
Those calls are not supposed to be release.

Speaker 4 (24:59):
I don't know if I either, I don't, but I
know that they tell your dumb ass, They tell your
dumb ass that you being recorded as soon as you
sit down to us. The people in jail on the phone.

Speaker 6 (25:08):
Calls can only be authorized by law enforcement and should
only be released as evidence in a criminal case if necessary.

Speaker 4 (25:16):
Well, okay, that's clearly not the case.

Speaker 6 (25:19):
That's what I'm saying that you got to find out
you put them calls out.

Speaker 4 (25:22):
I don't think it's illegal. It couldn't be illegal for
all them call there. They was dropping them calls like
mixtapes over the holiday.

Speaker 5 (25:26):
Crazy, Yo, we gotta take sure of the audience. I
don't like nobody. Sorry, that's hilarious to me, but that's
just what the mess for the first album.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
We won't get into some other stuff.

Speaker 5 (25:37):
It's a lot of other stuff that happened with Suki
and Princess and a whole bunch of stuff. We gotta
update on Wendy. It's a lot of stuff coming up,
So check us out in the second album.

Speaker 6 (25:45):
Alright, and when we come back, we got front page
news more than to be breaking down everything that happened
in uh uh what in New Orleans, everything that happened
out in Vegas.

Speaker 3 (25:53):
It don't go anywhere. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning morning.
Everybody is DJ.

Speaker 6 (25:58):
Envy just hilarious. God, we are to Breakfast Club. Let's
get back at some front page news.

Speaker 2 (26:04):
Good morning, MV Charlomagde ahead, Jeff.

Speaker 8 (26:06):
America is in mourning, you guys, paying tribute to its
thirty ninth presidents. Crowds have been filing past former President
Jimmy Carter's flag draped casket at the Carter Center in Atlanta,
and his body is being transported today here to Washington, DC,
where he will lie in state at the US Capitol
Roldtunda until a state funeral on Thursday morning at the
Washington National Cathedral. Now later that day, mister Carter's body

(26:30):
will be returned to his hometown for a private service
and burial on the grounds of his family home in Plains, Georgia.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
On Saturday, President.

Speaker 8 (26:39):
Carter's grandson spoke at one of many celebrations of his
life for the late humanitarian, and here's what he had
to say.

Speaker 23 (26:45):
Jason Carter, will we more in my grandfather's passing.

Speaker 4 (26:48):
I know in my heart and.

Speaker 23 (26:49):
You all do that his legacy will live on because
of your spirit and your knowledge and the work and
the track record that you do every day on behalf
of my family. To the people in this room, and
to your colleagues and our colleagues across the world that
work with the Carter Center. Thank you for what you
have done for him, for what you've done for my grandmother,

(27:13):
and for what you continue to do.

Speaker 13 (27:14):
For the world.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (27:15):
So salute to President Carter and his legacy. On another note,
it is.

Speaker 4 (27:20):
Long life too. Li will be one hundred years old. Congratulations.
I appreciate anybody who gets to live a long life
because I want to. I'm gonna be here till one
hundred and one, so why.

Speaker 8 (27:29):
Would you for On another note, it is federal law
that American flags fly at half mass for thirty days
following the death of a former president or US sitting
president fifteen days for VP. So this presidential warning period
will coincide with President elect Trump's inauguration.

Speaker 2 (27:45):
Now.

Speaker 8 (27:45):
Trump has indicated that he will attend Carter's funeral on Thursday,
despite taking issue with the fact that the flags will
be flown at half mass during his inauguration. The Democrats
a lot of people are joking that this is Carter's
last humanitarian initiative.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
But you know, I won't get too much into that.

Speaker 8 (28:01):
Trump wrote on truth Social that the Democrats are all
giddy about our magnificent American flag potentially being flown at
half mass during my inauguration. They think it's so great
and are so happy about it, because in actuality, they
don't love our country. They only think about themselves. Look
at what they've done to our once great America over
the past four years. It's a total mess. He went

(28:22):
on to say. In any event, because of the death
of President Jimmy Carter, the flag may be flown for
the first time ever during an inauguration of a future president,
be at half mass. Nobody wants to see this, and
no American can be happy about it. Let's see how
it plays out. Make America great again. Now, just quick
fact checked. While Trump did indicate in that truth social
post that it was the first time US flags would

(28:44):
be flown in.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
That capacity, that is not the truth.

Speaker 8 (28:48):
But it was flown at half staff during Richard Nixon's
nineteen seventy three anauguration.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Yeah, so what do you guys think about that? Any
thoughts on there?

Speaker 4 (28:57):
I can't even believe Trump is tripping because, yes, the
flags will be flowing that half mask for Jimmy Carter. Yes,
he's getting sworn in on inauguration day, which is Martin
Luther King Junior Day. And guess what, Donald Trump is
still going to be the number one trending topic. Nobody's
gonna be talking about Jimmy Carter, and nobody's gonna be
talking about Martin Luther King Jr. He's gonna suck all
the air out of the headlines. We know this. The
media not even gonna focus on Jimmy Carter and Martin

(29:20):
Luther King Junior Day like they will about Trump and
who's at the inauguration. So I can't even believe he's
tripping off, to be honest with you.

Speaker 8 (29:25):
Talking about tripping and talking about sucking the air out
of the room. This guy did that in fact, on
New Year's Day.

Speaker 4 (29:33):
So, switching gears, you're telling us about what happened. No, no, no, no, no.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
Let's throughout what you guys, switching DearS. President Biden, witchings.

Speaker 8 (29:52):
President Biden was in New Orleans on Monday, meeting with
the families and the family members of the victims of
the Bourbon Street attack, calling it horrific act of terrorism,
adding it to find strength and resilience. Now this is
what I was talking about. He's this this terrorist of sorts.
He sucked the air out of our New Year's Day.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
I mean when we woke up, this is what we
woke up too.

Speaker 8 (30:13):
So President Biden, he spoke at the Saint Louis Cathedral
in the French Quarter with him and First Lady Joe
Biden placing a candle in the middle of the semicircle
of candles for each of the fourteen victim victims that
lost their lives, and they read their names aloud. Now,
the Biden's, of course again met with the family survivor's
local law enforcement prior to the service. And again that

(30:35):
attack saw an ISIS sympathizer plow a crowd of fourteen down,
killing fourteen and injuring dozens more. Let's hear from President
Biden really quickly his comments in regards to that attack.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
Horrible attack in New Orleans.

Speaker 24 (30:51):
All right, Jill and I here to stand with you,
agree with you, pray with you.

Speaker 3 (30:59):
Let you know you're not alone. Damn.

Speaker 4 (31:02):
So it was called a terrorist attack because he was
an ISIS sympathetic.

Speaker 8 (31:06):
Yes, that's why they are calling it a terrorist attack.
In fact, the FBI is providing an update. A Deputy
assistant director of the agency's counter Terrorism Division, Christopher Rajah, said,
while the US Army veteran shus mood Din Jabbar likely
acted alone. They're still trying to determine if you communicate
it with anyone.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
Outside of the US, and Special.

Speaker 8 (31:24):
Agent in Charge Lionel Mirthle of the FBI's in New
Orleans Field office said while Jabbar likely acted alone, the investigation,
of course is still ongoing. We want to hear more
from those authorities on the Nola attack. Let's hear more
from them.

Speaker 25 (31:38):
We have not seen any indications of an accomplice in
the United States, but we are still looking into potential
associates in the US and outside of our borders.

Speaker 3 (31:48):
The case is still very early on.

Speaker 21 (31:51):
Our agents are getting answers as to where he went,
who he met with, and how those trips may or
may not tie into his actions here in our city
in New Orleans.

Speaker 8 (32:02):
So, of course, Jabar reportedly traveled to New Orleans in
months before the attack. He took video along Bourbon Street
using metaglasses while riding a bike, and in the hours
before the attack, also placed multiple improvised explosives around the
city and a set of fire inside a home that
he was renting nearby. Luckily, those explosives did not go
off and authorities were able to locate them. Just tragic

(32:23):
to wake up on New Year's Day and hear that
this has happened while you know, people were outside partying
on Bourbon Street.

Speaker 3 (32:29):
Ye're very sad, very horrible, you know.

Speaker 6 (32:31):
Also they were saying that people were very upset because
they opened Bourbon Street the next day, and they were
saying that, you know, they should have gave you know,
people a chance to grieve. But a lot of people
that live out there was like, this is how we eat,
this is how we feed our family, Like we live
off of tourism. So if we close down Bard, you know,
Bourbon Street, they wouldn't be able to support their family.
So I've seen people talking about that when Master p
and Maya actually you know, reopened Bourbon.

Speaker 4 (32:52):
Street yet definitely sending New Orleans healing energy. So to
everybody who listens to us on Q ninety three in
New Orleans, and I mean, you know, what happened on
Bourbon Street is a set is just a reminder about life, right, Like, yes,
all of those people got killed tragically, Well, man, life
goes on immediately, Like that's just the way things are
in this world. Like life literally keeps going.

Speaker 8 (33:14):
Immediately, a lot of elected officials in New Orleans were
pretty much talking. I mean, of course they're talking about
the attack, but they're also reiterating to people and you
know that it is going to be safe for the
upcoming super Bowl, which is you know, pretty much a
month away too. You know, there's a lot of events
that are set to happen and take place coming up
in New Orleans.

Speaker 4 (33:33):
So how did they guarantee that? And that's what I mean.
I say it all the time on this on Breakfast Club.
But it's just like yo, every day of our lives,
we wake up and all we're trying to do is
avoid crazy. Like you, you might wake up with the
best intentions and you know you reading you say in
your prayers, reading your daily affirmations, you spread and loved everybody,
But one idiot having a bad day here ruin it

(33:55):
for everybody.

Speaker 13 (33:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (33:56):
They I'm sure they'll put up barricades and all that
stuff for you know, people that's driving, but then somebody
will have bomb strapped to them. I see them. Even
now with the trains. We were talking about the trains earlier.
Now they're going to start having railings where you can't
push anybody onto the train anymore on the track because
they're going to start putting railings up.

Speaker 4 (34:12):
It should have been doing that.

Speaker 3 (34:13):
But you know, like you said, it's very sad.

Speaker 4 (34:16):
If I was them, I would just say, look, we're
going to do our best the attempt to keep people
safe because you just really never know.

Speaker 8 (34:23):
Yeah, absolutely, and just you know, last story, I guess
if we could. It's just I'm like, it's so sad
that this is the first thing that we're talking about,
you know, first of the year. You know, you would
think it would be more positive, but you know, here
we are twenty twenty five. But yeah, let me go
ahead and get into this last story. Las Vegas police
are also releasing more information about the Tesla cyber truck

(34:44):
that exploded outside of a Trump International Hotel. Sheriff Kevin
mcmayhill says they will be releasing writings by the suspect,
Matthew Livesberger, regarding his motive, and FBI Special Agent Spencer
Evans spoke more about the Livelsberger's mental condition. Let's hear
from those authorities on the Vegas incident.

Speaker 23 (35:04):
He actually calls it a stunt in one of these
documents that were going to release to you, that he
was trying to get the attention of the American people
because he.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
Was upset about a number of different things.

Speaker 26 (35:15):
It ultimately appears to be a tragic case of suicide
involving a heavily decorated combat veteran who is struggling with
PTSD and other issues. Investigative steps have discovered and information
of the Army indicates that he likely suffered from PTSD,
and we are also aware that there were potential other
family issues or personal grievances in his own life that

(35:36):
may have been contributing factors.

Speaker 8 (35:37):
Yeah, so authorities used DNA to confirm who the suspect
was because he was beyond recognition, and the FBI says
no animosity. He had no animosity towards Donald Trump and
likely suffered, of course from PTSD. The explosives in the
car were motor style fireworks along with camping fuel. He
died from a self inflicted gunshot wound before the blast,

(35:59):
which injured seven seven people with left seven people with
minor injuries, and police again reiterated there is no definitive
link between the incident in New Orleans and the attack
in Vegas despite it happening on the same day. So
here we are welcome to twenty twenty five guys.

Speaker 4 (36:15):
Yeah, why couldn't we get that veteran to help he needed?
Like I'm sure he didn't just start exhibiting signs in PTSD.
Why do we ignore what people are going through until
it's too late. I don't understand it. I'm going back,
Dan guilla Man. Every story you just said is why
we are the United States of anxiety. Why do we
have to deal with these things? Why when we have

(36:36):
the solutions. We got all these problems, but we have
the solutions right here in this country, but we just
choose not to you know, solve them or put the
resources towards them for whatever reason.

Speaker 3 (36:45):
I don't get it.

Speaker 4 (36:46):
Meanwhile, we charging nine dollars for congestive pricing, you know
here in New York City giving out We giving out
more money for him not to use for people like
you know, this veteran, and I know I'm just this
New y'all going, that's Vegas.

Speaker 3 (37:01):
You know what I'm saying, what I'm attempting to say here, Well,
thank you, we.

Speaker 8 (37:03):
Got your sentiment. We got your sentiment. Yes, thank you.
That's your front page news I'm Morgan. Would follow me

Speaker 6 (37:22):
We'll give you a backstory when we come back. This
question may seem random. Eight hundred five eight five one
oh five to one. Would you sleep with skip baylists
for one point five million?

Speaker 4 (37:32):
Let's say sleep with say, have sex with Smash, sleep
with have sex let him tear your guts out all
that if he still capable of doing that, because you're
seventy three years old, for one point five million dollars
for that. I know that sounds random. When we come back,
we'll tell you the story.

Speaker 3 (37:45):
That's right.

Speaker 6 (37:46):
Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. We'll
discuss in depth when we come back. It's the Breakfast Club.
Good morning, the Breakfast Club.

Speaker 25 (37:59):
It's topic time called eight hundred five five one five
one to join into the discussion with the Breakfast.

Speaker 6 (38:05):
Club Morning, everybody is ej Envy, Jess Hilarius, Charlamagne.

Speaker 3 (38:10):
The guy, we are the Breakfast Club.

Speaker 6 (38:12):
If you're just joining us, we asked the question eight
hundred five eight five one oh five to one would
you have sex with Skip Baylists for one point five
million dollars? Now, there is a backstory. If you don't
know who Skip bayle List is. Of course, he's a
sports commentator. He's seventy three years old. White Man tell
he was.

Speaker 4 (38:30):
On First Take with Steven A. Smith for years, and
he was on FS one with Shannon Sharp. If you
don't know who Skip Baylest is, I don't care. A
lot of people do.

Speaker 3 (38:38):
Now what's now Lauren's head?

Speaker 2 (38:39):
Good morning, Lauren, Good morning, y'all.

Speaker 19 (38:41):
Good morning Heavy.

Speaker 3 (38:42):
Now break down the backstory a little bit.

Speaker 19 (38:43):
All right, So there's a hairstylist that you used to
work at Fox and she says that when she used
to work there, this is what she worked there between
twenty twelve and twenty twenty four and twenty twenty four,
so this is a minute ago. She says that when
Skip was doing Undisputed with Shannon Sharp, she would have
to cut his hair once a week, and he requested
these haircuts and used the haircuts as a way to
kind of make advances on her. So he would do

(39:04):
things like he would rub her hands, he would press
up on her and give her hugs. Allegedly, according to her,
he would talk to her about how voluptuous she thought
that she was, and that she said that he offered
her one point five million dollars to have sex with him.
And this was during a hard time her life because
she had just found out that she had cancer. It
was like going on. She was very uncomfortable, and she
said that she turned down all of the advances in

(39:26):
the offer to have sex with them.

Speaker 4 (39:27):
Now, I need to know about this one point five
million dollar because that's a lot of money to pay
for some poom poom. And you know, they say it
ain't tricking if if you got it. But even if
you got it, I don't see why one point five
million dollars is the first number that you offer. Now,
is she using addition meaning that she worked there for
what how many years? Seven to ten years?

Speaker 19 (39:46):
Yeah, she was there from twenty twenty twelve to twenty
twenty four.

Speaker 4 (39:50):
So did every time he tried to high at her,
he had a number like, y'a, I'll give you ten dollars,
I get picked douars and so she just added it
all together, or did he just come to her one
day and say, I'm gonna give you one point five
million for that vagina doesn't matter. I don't think it
matter why you offered, Why why are you shooting so
high so early?

Speaker 19 (40:08):
Think it matters, right, the gradual number doesn't matter. The
way was wrong, it was all but she didn't want
the money either way. So whether he started at two
in it at one point five, it don't matter.

Speaker 4 (40:19):
We're having a hypothetical conversation. My point is, what man
on this planet comes out the gate offering one point.

Speaker 3 (40:26):
He's a bad negotiating actually a O G trick.

Speaker 19 (40:28):
He knows what he's doing.

Speaker 3 (40:31):
She had to turn him down a couple of times
to get to that. Now, you don't start.

Speaker 4 (40:33):
Saying I think he was. I think he was like
fifty thousand, head ten thousand here. I think she added
it all up. If it's true she added it all
up over the ten years, there's no way you just
come out the gate one well.

Speaker 19 (40:43):
She alleged multiple different things happened over time, so like
the kissing, the other hands, the hugging, the requesting, the
haircuts once a week, like all of this like gradually happened,
and after she refused to have sex with him, he
stopped getting his haircut in the makeup done by her.

Speaker 4 (41:00):
You have been off. Excuse me the offer?

Speaker 19 (41:02):
Can we get back to your phone calls.

Speaker 7 (41:07):
That?

Speaker 19 (41:08):
The way that you frame that question is it don't
even sound like one point five would don't play with me?
Why the way you frame the question is like like
I'm a prostitut or something.

Speaker 3 (41:20):
Would you would you smash one point five?

Speaker 19 (41:23):
I wanted to probably took the one point five you
would have did it? I probably would have took the
one point five.

Speaker 4 (41:27):
No, no, no, no, no, not took Would you have let
that old man, old man? Those young delaware?

Speaker 19 (41:34):
How old is he at the time?

Speaker 4 (41:36):
Sixty three three?

Speaker 19 (41:37):
All right, so how long is it gonna last? Anyways?

Speaker 6 (41:39):
I don't know if you get that blue pillok at
me all night?

Speaker 19 (41:42):
No, it got to be like we got it. There
need to be like a manifested, like here are the rules,
no extra pills, no nothing like you got to go
all naturally.

Speaker 4 (41:52):
Lawrence said, she would do it like my mom would.

Speaker 19 (41:53):
Tell me, baby, go get that one point five. Give
me the point.

Speaker 4 (41:56):
Jessica Robin Moore just Hilarius. Would you take the one
point five one point five Skip Baylists sixty three years
old white man.

Speaker 2 (42:02):
Absolutely, you don't get worms to both.

Speaker 4 (42:05):
You have words like what you eat? Just no negotiation.

Speaker 2 (42:10):
You're gonna kiss him, old white man.

Speaker 5 (42:12):
What I mean if that's what I got is one
point five We're we talking about this one time?

Speaker 2 (42:16):
What's up?

Speaker 9 (42:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 19 (42:17):
And that's not thing in those rules. It's one time, right,
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (42:21):
I don't I'm not jeiling.

Speaker 24 (42:22):
John armag Charlemagne one point five old white man, sixty
three years old, No, because I'm not gay when I
have a daddy, okay, and my daddy broke well, I'm
not that either.

Speaker 19 (42:39):

word place Charlemagne sitting over there with this heel.

Speaker 4 (42:44):

my Brokens days, not from no man. I'm not doing
that for no man. No, I've now I've had sex
with some women that look like man that might that
might be the same.

Speaker 4 (43:19):
All I heard you say is you would do it,
and so EJ with Somerville. All his homeboys need to
know that. He said he would have sex with skip
Bailers for one point five million dollars. One point But
you'll be so gay on holidays your homeboys will be
smoking you.

Speaker 3 (43:37):
He said he'd be a happy I'm gonna be honest
with you.

Speaker 4 (43:39):
Gay for pay is actually what I would frown upon
if you just gay cool?

Speaker 3 (43:45):
But you gave for pay.

Speaker 19 (43:47):
But you always be in here talking about if you're
putting it out, you should be receiving something back. So
why not if they want to do it for pay?
Why is that a bad thing?

Speaker 4 (43:53):
Because you shouldn't know. Nobody should be. If you gave a.

Speaker 6 (43:55):
Pay, you just gave period. Anyway, by the way, why
are you lying? Well, we have a stead on the line.

Speaker 4 (43:59):
Oh love?

Speaker 3 (44:03):
Did she?

Speaker 19 (44:03):
That's what she entered?

Speaker 3 (44:04):

Speaker 4 (44:05):
You're getting the point five study and you gotta bring
your own deal dough.

Speaker 3 (44:10):

Speaker 20 (44:23):

We're talking about bailists. Recently, Fox and.

Speaker 6 (46:04):
Skip baylists are being sued and what are they being
sued for? What allegedly happens?

Speaker 19 (46:08):
So it is sexual misconduct and a bunch of other
things that Hairstylace and Form, a makeup artist from Fox
Sports or formerly a Fox Sports says happened in the workplace.
And as a part of this, she is saying that
skip baylists offered her one point five million dollars to
have sex with him, amongst other things like he would
make different sexual events like allegedly hugging her, saying different

(46:28):
words to her like she was voluptuous and stuff like that.

Speaker 4 (46:32):
Lauren says she would do it for the one point five. Jess,
a liar, says she would do it for the one
point five that's right, Envy, would you do it for
the one point five. Yes, I would not envy. I
would not Why why are you blushing? I would not

Speaker 19 (46:46):
I feel like y'all got all this money, noail, and
all this morals, and y'all don't got to think about much.
But y'all before all of this, y'all wouldn't figure it out.

Speaker 13 (47:54):
I'm putting my plan in there.

Speaker 14 (47:56):
We don't have to be like when where have you been?

Speaker 13 (48:00):
Don't get that.

Speaker 28 (48:00):
Bag for us because I'm not doing it.

Speaker 13 (48:02):

Speaker 4 (48:03):
You got a twin sister, Yeah I do? Oh so
you so you tell your twins go get that money.

Speaker 18 (48:09):
Yeah, we're gonna have the money.

Speaker 13 (48:10):
Long his ass?

Speaker 4 (48:11):
Why should she split it with you?

Speaker 7 (48:13):

Speaker 4 (48:13):
I wouldn't split it half and half? Would she put
her on it?

Speaker 10 (48:15):
You will?

Speaker 14 (48:16):
We split together, we split the bag.

Speaker 19 (48:18):
No, they can't get it because man managers only get
five to ten percent.

Speaker 4 (48:24):
Your lawyer only get fied to ten percent.

Speaker 17 (48:27):

Speaker 3 (48:36):
Okay, thank you. Hello, who's this?

Speaker 17 (48:39):
Good morning? This is Melissa.

Speaker 6 (48:40):
Hey, Melissa, good morning for one point five million dollars.
Are you smashing skip ballists?

Speaker 17 (48:45):
No, I'm a happily merit woman.

Speaker 6 (48:47):
You are the only person that called up here this morning,
men and women and studs that said no, you know,
you know, you know God knows your heart right exactly.

Speaker 17 (48:57):
I do know that, So you can I say something
else to get it off my test?

Speaker 3 (49:02):
Lie?

Speaker 4 (49:03):
Well that wasn't a lie, though, I believe you.

Speaker 17 (49:05):
I do believe it, But I just wanted to get
off my test. First of all, I'm college from Piscola, Florida.
I'm a third grade teacher. And what I wanted to
get off my chest is something very serious. My oldest
son passed away while incarcerated Alabama Department of Corrections one
of the most inhumane correct places in the world. And

(49:26):
I just really wanted to bring awareness and attention because
I know of what happened there in New York with
the man that passed away who was incarcerated. But really, like,
there's just so many inhumane things that goes on in
these prisons and there's literally nothing being done about it.
And it's all these are rigged and drugs, weapons, all
of these things, and these men and women are dying.

(49:49):
My son actually was one of the record number of
men who died in Alabama corrections in twenty twenty three.
So I'm just trying to raise awareness and just let
people know that we have to suspend up and we
have to fight, and we have to do something because
it's just it's horrible.

Speaker 4 (50:04):
Yeah, man, definitely send you and your family. Thank you
for sharing your story and sucking all the fun out
of the room and out of this topic. But but
you did use our platform. I know you didn't. You
use our platform to speak to something that needs to
be spoken to. So I appreciate you and again sorry
for your lost How can what do you want to?
How can they with it? A call to action?

Speaker 17 (50:23):
Like, well, what we're what we're doing now, as a
matter of fact, is another another mom to myself. We're
trying to get a group together.

Speaker 15 (50:31):
Just start somewhere, got you.

Speaker 17 (50:33):
So it's not all all the way there yet, but
we're putting it together.

Speaker 4 (50:37):
Well, let us know how we can help it. I
got one more question for you and yours elbow one
point five million. When you sleep with them happily married woman.

Speaker 7 (50:43):
Girl, don't fake me.

Speaker 2 (50:44):
Get at the board you see.

Speaker 4 (50:45):
What I'm saying. You see what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (50:47):
Goodbye, Melissa.

Speaker 6 (50:49):
If it ain't the price, it's the person, that's the person. Okay,
now we got branding on the line. Now this says
Brandon says times are hard and he would absolutely let
that man smash.

Speaker 3 (50:59):
One point five?

Speaker 4 (51:00):
Is our producer, Brandon. Now it's another brand name, Brandon
coome On.

Speaker 18 (51:03):
Okay, good morning, got.

Speaker 3 (51:07):
So you would let him smash one point five?

Speaker 13 (51:09):
Hell no, one point five?

Speaker 18 (51:11):
No, you can have it. I ready to go to
a day party for free, your man one point five?

Speaker 4 (51:16):
So hold on. You rather go to a titty party
and get ran through for free and take the one
point five for the old white man?

Speaker 13 (51:21):
Oh no, i'mnna be doing I'm gonna be doing the
running through.

Speaker 4 (51:24):
Oh I'm so confused that you're gonna be running.

Speaker 3 (51:26):
You're gonna be running through the dudes.

Speaker 4 (51:27):
So you want to be gay for free? You don't
want to get paid for you?

Speaker 7 (51:30):
I will be running through the women. There was a
whole life going on party, dude, don't.

Speaker 4 (51:34):
Do Maybe I'm confused because NB set your call up
wrong and said that you times is hard and all.

Speaker 6 (51:39):
Kinds that would have said. He said he no, times
are hard. He would absolutely do it for one point five.

Speaker 4 (51:46):
Ah, so you said one thing, but you said, oh okay,
what Brandon call him from? He did say, you don't
stay on the phone.

Speaker 19 (51:53):
That's what I was saying. That old job would have done,
say one thing behind the scenes, will do one thing,
but then say another because one point point I'm.

Speaker 4 (52:00):
Cool on that.

Speaker 3 (52:00):
I'm good. Well, what's the moral of the story, if
there is more?

Speaker 4 (52:03):
The moral of the story is I like all the
honesty from our listeners this morning. Okay, like you know,
like y'all out here fing for free, y'all in f
wors for free. So some of y'all want to take
the one point five. I ain't judging. I'm not here
to judge.

Speaker 6 (52:16):
All right, Well, we got Jess with the mess coming up.
What we're talking about Jess.

Speaker 5 (52:19):
We got an exclusive update on Wendy Williams and where
she been, so we'll get into.

Speaker 3 (52:22):
That, all right, we'll get into that next. It don't
go anywhere. It's the Breakfast Club, Good.

Speaker 6 (52:26):

Speaker 3 (52:40):
It's funny.

Speaker 4 (52:40):
Now you're just with the mess your news so funny.

Speaker 3 (52:44):
I gotta say that she's one of my favorite people
on Instagram.

Speaker 19 (52:47):
That's hilarious.

Speaker 2 (52:51):
Hilarious, Jeff.

Speaker 19 (52:54):
And on the Breakfast Club, Damn, Jess, what's the news today?

Speaker 27 (53:00):
What you want know?

Speaker 2 (53:02):
All right?

Speaker 5 (53:03):
So, Wendy Williams left off in twenty twenty four in Florida,
and she was visiting her family for her son's graduation,
and her son had actually commented on a video that
Charlemagne put up of her in Florida enjoying her son's graduation,
saying that Wendy is sober, she wants to come home,
and he also said that him and his family they're
fighting to make that happen because the isolation seems to

(53:23):
be killing her quicker than anything else, according to him.
Laura l Rosso was told exclusively that in addition to
everything I just said, the family is trying to get
an attorney to help her get out of that guardianship,
and that the guardian is trying to make Wendy look
incapacitated for the sake of a lifetime lawsuit that she got,
and Wendy seemed more normal, you know, the whole time.

(53:44):
She even went off on her caretakers.

Speaker 2 (53:45):
Wow, yes, wow, you know about her school and everything.
We got audio for that. And then you and then
both of you balked away.

Speaker 4 (53:53):
Leaven in the.

Speaker 2 (53:55):
Middle of the street like that.

Speaker 29 (53:57):
Get to hardly make sure it's the right home.

Speaker 4 (54:01):
What happened?

Speaker 29 (54:01):
They got the wrong car. So I knocked on the
door and it was totally wrong car. They left my
scooter as they walked over there. Maybe my most precious
most people this cost. They're supposed to be ordering the car.

Speaker 2 (54:17):
That's what they're supposed to be doing.

Speaker 4 (54:19):
They wanted to work for me.

Speaker 29 (54:20):
That's they're making money for me.

Speaker 17 (54:22):
Get the fun car.

Speaker 6 (54:25):
That doesn't seem like yeah, that before I think a
couple of what a couple of right before the break
a couple of months ago. They made it seem like
Wendy was in the hospital down back, she couldn't move,
she couldn't That doesn't.

Speaker 3 (54:37):
Sound like that Wendy to me.

Speaker 4 (54:38):
That's all I spoke to Windy over the holidays.

Speaker 3 (54:41):
He did, Yeah, what happened?

Speaker 4 (54:43):
She was seemed perfectly fine to me, like Windy sound
like she could do radio tomorrow. She wanted to.

Speaker 3 (54:48):
He reached out to her. She reached out to you.

Speaker 4 (54:49):
How that happened?

Speaker 3 (54:50):
She called you?

Speaker 4 (54:50):
Yeah, And I don't I don't. I don't know what
incapacitated means in regards to dementia or whatever it is
they say she was dealing with, But no, they ain't nothing.
In fascitated about Wendy William.

Speaker 3 (55:01):
How was her energy?

Speaker 4 (55:02):
How was she sounded like Wendy William trying to tell
you like there was there was She didn't miss skip
a beat. She actually said to me when she called me,
she was like, why are you answering the phone? Like
we just we just spoke yesterday, We just talked last week.
She wanted me to be more excited.

Speaker 5 (55:17):
She called not bag and like stop baging, Like and
you said on my lap, Nigga was us.

Speaker 4 (55:21):
No, That's exactly what it was, to the point where there,
you know, you know, sometimes you be on like I
have my my my the phone on like my shoulder.
I was washing my hands pee and we didn't.

Speaker 3 (55:31):
Have to hear that.

Speaker 4 (55:32):
I'm just saying, right, and I guess the phone was
want to said a record or something like that. So
the phone says, and when I saw it, I stopped it,
so it said, uh, it.

Speaker 3 (55:41):
Said recording, because so she was like, are.

Speaker 4 (55:44):
You recording me? And then she was like, no, you
wouldn't do that. Like so it's like she's perfectly normal
from whatever.

Speaker 14 (55:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (55:52):
I could be wrong, and I don't like that.

Speaker 2 (55:56):
Why you gotta talk to was on the phone?

Speaker 6 (55:59):
Foll law time, oh that you was already in conversation
and that new feature on the phone.

Speaker 3 (56:04):
I don't like. That's happened to me a couple of times.

Speaker 2 (56:06):
Why does that happen?

Speaker 4 (56:07):
Because it's even no record on the thing.

Speaker 3 (56:09):
It is on the top left. It's like a thing.
If you push it, it says recording.

Speaker 6 (56:12):
And that's happened to me a bunch of times, and
I feel bad, like people feel like I'm recording that conversation.

Speaker 3 (56:16):
When you want to call, it says record right, So
if I call you right now? Right see the god
right And on.

Speaker 6 (56:21):
The top left is a feature that if you push
it starts recording a conversation.

Speaker 4 (56:25):
That's happened to me a few times on the regularly
talking and press record answer right very fast, right? Okay?
I answered, all right, I.

Speaker 6 (56:35):
See right there on the top left. Don't mine on
the top left. Yes, if you push it and starts.

Speaker 3 (56:41):
Recording, I don't like that. I don't like it.

Speaker 2 (56:45):
Even don't she says she wanted to come back to media.

Speaker 5 (56:47):
Did she say anything about that, like she wished she
could be giving us all the time.

Speaker 4 (56:51):
I don't want to say all of that. But like
I said, she could do radio tomorrow if she wanted to.

Speaker 2 (56:56):
Oh, I say that cool, that's what's up.

Speaker 3 (56:59):
Want to I don't. I'm not.

Speaker 4 (57:01):
That's not that's not for me.

Speaker 2 (57:02):
You recorded the whole call, but you can't tell us.

Speaker 6 (57:05):
And I would never do that, all right, But Jesse,
you should have asked him. Did she want to do
a podcast?

Speaker 4 (57:10):
Hmmm, Well, what she said, she already wanted to do
a podcast before she put that out there.

Speaker 3 (57:14):
I'm gonna say, she's calling you you have your.

Speaker 4 (57:16):
Was the holidays? Okay, that's what that was about. It
was a holiday phone call, catching up with your people
at the end of the year. That's what that was. Yeah,
dropping the clues bombs for Wendy Whibbs. Okay, what you said?

Speaker 2 (57:26):
Yes, I said he was scared of how we saw
that number.

Speaker 4 (57:30):
It wasn't a number. It was a black call.

Speaker 2 (57:32):
Thank you any even more scared? What's up?

Speaker 4 (57:35):
No id?

Speaker 2 (57:36):
Even more scared?

Speaker 3 (57:38):
Anyway?

Speaker 5 (57:38):
All right, listen, fifty cent responds to his Vegas show critique.
So he did his first Vegas residency at Playing Hollywood
Resort and Casino.

Speaker 2 (57:47):
On one of.

Speaker 5 (57:47):
The resident first residency first started, we saw a bunch
of big names going to go see the show, like
Amanda bynes Dan, Yelle Fischell. That's Tepanga from Boy Meets World.
I grew up watching her being rams a couple more people.
But a few days then we also started to see
like negative critiques of the show. The show was being
called the worst residency in Las Vegas, and one critic

(58:08):
said that it was the worst live.

Speaker 2 (58:10):
Performance for any artist.

Speaker 5 (58:12):
And then a blogger shared that the show was bad
because the sound in the theater was terrible and the
hype men were louder than him for the entire show.
So she also said that fifty barely spoke to the crowd,
and fifty responded to the critiques when he was on stage.

Speaker 27 (58:34):
I don't say the news was bad, but you thought
I was gonna be out here, MOLLI blade like.

Speaker 4 (58:42):
Chris Brown, was flying that.

Speaker 3 (58:46):
I don't have records to require minutes flying.

Speaker 5 (58:48):
Now, nigga, you don't have records that require you hanging
upside down for maxis amounts of time.

Speaker 4 (58:54):
But you did that well in the club video. I
think he's reenacting that every time he does that.

Speaker 2 (59:00):
And do that though at this age you can't do that.

Speaker 3 (59:02):
You know, you know, I really hated that.

Speaker 6 (59:04):
I feel like they, the blogs and the press allowed
somebody from outside the culture to give a bad comment
of how she felt about the show, and it went viral.
And I never see that happen with anybody else when
people go to these shows, Like you know, when you
go to shows, you have thousands and thousands of people.
Somebody might not like your show. Somebody loved your show,
but I didn't like how they did that.

Speaker 4 (59:22):
I don't think that you should go to how they
just sent Vegas show thinking about other Vegas shows, correct.
I think that's the other problem, right, Like if you
especially if you've seen US as show US, you're skating
and flying around, you got scripts coming out, and I
have I've personally never been to any other Vegas show,
but I would only assume that all those other Vegas
shows have these big, huge performances too, but I'm not
going to a fifty cent show expecting that.

Speaker 5 (59:43):
Yeah, they're dancers, Chris Brown and Usher are dancers there,
you know, they do more than singing and rapping all that.

Speaker 6 (59:48):
So yeah, I still I didn't like the fact that
somebody outside our culture is telling us about how she feels,
and the blogs from our coulture starts posting it like
its facts. I just I didn't like that.

Speaker 5 (01:00:00):
With the negativity thriving, they don't care who it is,
and we'll go against our on no matter what.

Speaker 2 (01:00:06):
So that's just what themester for this hour.

Speaker 6 (01:00:08):
Thank you, Jess Charlamayne. Yes, we'll give you your donkey two.

Speaker 4 (01:00:11):
Man for after the hour. We need Bruce Fisher. That's
the husband of Senator Deborah Fisher. Deb Fisher. We need
him to come int the congregation. We like to have
a word with him.

Speaker 3 (01:00:19):
Please, all right, we'll get to that. Next it's to
breakfast Club. Good morning.

Speaker 4 (01:00:22):
Your execution on.

Speaker 19 (01:00:23):
The donkey of the day is something to God, a reason.

Speaker 2 (01:00:27):
He gave me donkey other day, and I deserve that.

Speaker 19 (01:00:29):
You need to know what you need to tell them.

Speaker 2 (01:00:32):
You have tell them.

Speaker 4 (01:00:36):
It's time for Donkey of the Day.

Speaker 14 (01:00:37):
It's a read.

Speaker 3 (01:00:38):
But you're so good at Charlamagne.

Speaker 27 (01:00:41):
You know what you want Charlamage.

Speaker 19 (01:00:44):
Yeah, man, who do you giveing dunsky other day too?

Speaker 24 (01:00:47):
Now?

Speaker 4 (01:00:48):
Well? Sexy red Donkey of Today for Tuesday, January seventh
goes to Bruce Fisher. He is the husband of Senator
deb Fisher. Senator Fisher was sworn in by Vice President
Kamala Harris for her third term in the US Senate,
and her husband refused to shake the Vice President's hand
during his wife swearing in ceremony.

Speaker 28 (01:01:08):
Let's listen, No, don't worry, Okay, okay.

Speaker 11 (01:01:21):
Then swears supporting the family, Constitution of the United States,
and enemies and domestic So help you God, than congratulations,
thank you for your work, and congratulations to you.

Speaker 4 (01:01:33):
Thank you.

Speaker 10 (01:01:35):
Thanks.

Speaker 4 (01:01:36):
Sure damn if you couldn't really hear what happened. Uh,
you know, she she was telling her, uh telling Bruce,
I don't bite. That's what t VP was saying, I
don't bite before he refused to shake her hand. Now,
let the record show I am big on consistency. So
it's a part of me that applauds what Bruce Fisher did.
I set a part of me. Okay, Unlike a lot

(01:01:57):
of you digital d heads, I am able to see
the whole toe mentality of a situation and not just
what I agree with.

Speaker 13 (01:02:02):
See.

Speaker 4 (01:02:03):
To me, it's incredible that Democrats are playing so nice
after all the talk of Trump being the end of democracy. Okay,
Trump being a fascist. It's like they're not keeping the
same energy at all. Democrats out here talking about peaceful
transfers of power. Listen to the VP speak on it.

Speaker 10 (01:02:18):
This announcement of the state of the vote by the
President of the Senate shall be deemed a sufficient declaration
of the persons elected President and Vice President of the
United States, each for a term beginning on the twentieth
day of January two thousand and twenty five, and shall

(01:02:40):
be entered together with the list of the votes on
the journals of the House and the Senate.

Speaker 4 (01:02:49):
I don't know if that's what I was looking for,
but look, I'm all for the peaceful transfer of power.
But Democrats keep following these political norms and traditions, and
it's confusing because you can't call a man a fascist
and a dictator, but when he wins, throws all that
rhetoric out the window. Unless, of course, it was just
politics and you never believed it. I've told you all
this already. Yes, I've called Trump of fascists, not because
of anything Democrats said, but because of the words I've

(01:03:11):
heard come out of Trump's mouth. But it's almost like
Democrats don't realize how they screw themselves for the future
because the bitterms are right around the corner. The only
thing they can hope for is that Republicans implode and
f thing's up so bad that the American people are
just dying for a change, because there's nothing Democrats can
say about Republicans that we should believe after they spend
weeks calling trumpet fascists and calling Republicans fascists and telling

(01:03:34):
us it would be the end of democracy, only to
put a button on all of that. Meanwhile, Republicans like
Bruce Fisher, they keeping that same energy. Okay, he didn't
shake the VPS and simply because he doesn't like her.
Our Democrats period, They draw clear lines in the sand.
They signal to their base every time they don't like Democrats.
Democrats are terrible and not worthy of any respect. Nonetheless,

(01:03:57):
your vote and the fact that the VP happens to
be a woman and a woman of color, or you
get extra points from your base for that. Okay. See,
Republicans are already thinking about the future. They thinking about
the midterms, they thinking about twenty twenty eight. It is
a clear us versus them mentality, and the way Republicans
treat THEMS is how Dems should be treating Republicans, especially

(01:04:18):
if you're telling us that they threatened the democracy, especially
if you're saying their leader is a fascist. Why would
you want to shake hands with those folks, and why
would Republicans want to shake hands with you? Okay, if
that's how you spend your time talking about them, I
get it. But Bruce, here's the thing.

Speaker 3 (01:04:35):
It wasn't about you. Okay, it's your wife's day.

Speaker 4 (01:04:38):
If your wife has to nudge you and tell you
to stand closer to the VP, basically just nudging you
to show some respect, you should show that respect because
your wife is a senator, and your wife, as a senator,
understands democracy. She actually posted photos of the event and
pledged to continue to stand together. Bruce, you should follow

(01:04:59):
your wife's lead, listen to her, because, whether you realize
it or not, you stepped all over her moment. Please
let Chelsea handle give Bruce Fisher the biggest hee haw.

Speaker 3 (01:05:07):
Hee haw hee haw That is way too much.

Speaker 2 (01:05:10):
Dan mayneies, all right.

Speaker 6 (01:05:12):
Well, let's let's open up the phone lines. It's the
breakfast Club court. Play the theme music. Wait before you
pull it up, there we go eight hundred five eight
five one oh five one. Now, Charlamagne just broke it down.
Bruce did not want to shake Kamala Harris's hand. Night,
Let's open up the phone lines. What's your thoughts? Eight
hundred five eight five one oh five one. Because at first,

(01:05:34):
when I thought about it, I'm like, how could you
not shake the Vice President's hand?

Speaker 3 (01:05:37):
How could you not shake Kamala Harris's hand?

Speaker 6 (01:05:39):
But then I have to take a step back for
herself and then say, how petty is this light skinned person?

Speaker 13 (01:05:44):
Right?

Speaker 6 (01:05:44):
If I don't after you, I'm talking about myself. If
I don't f with you, I ain't shaking your hand.

Speaker 3 (01:05:50):
Regardless. There's a lot of people in this world right
now to this day.

Speaker 6 (01:05:52):
If they walk up with me with the Bible in
their hand and and I am not shaking their hand,
I might not shake that person because if I don't about.

Speaker 3 (01:06:00):
No, if I don't affort you. I don't effort you.

Speaker 6 (01:06:02):
I don't care what you got in your hand, what
you're talking about now. But if I don't effort you,
you did some f ish to me. I ain't shaking
your hand.

Speaker 4 (01:06:08):
Now.

Speaker 6 (01:06:08):
Let me ask you a question just before we go
to the phone lines eight hundred five eight five one
on five one. If you don't mess with somebody and
they stick their hand out to shake your hand, even
if they give Chris an award, even if they say
Chris is the man?

Speaker 3 (01:06:20):
Are you shaking their hand? On how you looking at them? Chris,
I'm in I'm man.

Speaker 4 (01:06:25):
Oh.

Speaker 5 (01:06:25):
If I don't deal with you, you know, you know it,
they don't got to be like you know, no threats
or nothing like that. But I'm not gonna shake hand.
Why would I shake hand. I don't deal with you
outside of this. I'm not gonna deal with you right now.

Speaker 4 (01:06:36):
That's what I said. It's a part of me. I'm
not upset. I get it. Republicans like Bruce Fisher, they
keep that same energy. Okay. If I don't like you,
if I don't like the Democrats, I'm gonna draw a
clear line in the stand and let people know that
I actually think democrats should be the way Democrats have
spoken about Republicans, that's how they should be treating republicans.
But no, they want to be you know, they didn't

(01:06:57):
want to just do the things the right way and
be all about traditions and norms, and that's why you
lose elections.

Speaker 3 (01:07:02):
Let's open up the phone lines. What are your thoughts?
Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. Let's
discuss when we come back.

Speaker 6 (01:07:08):
Are you that petty or are you gonna shake the
hand because it is the vice president, Let's discuss. It's
the breakfast club in the morning, the breakfast Club, Good.

Speaker 3 (01:07:17):
Morning, everybody is DJ n V jess hilarious.

Speaker 6 (01:07:21):
Charlomagne the guy we are the breakfast club. If he's
just joining us. Charlamagne gave donkey to day to who
Bruce Fisher?

Speaker 4 (01:07:27):
He is the husband of Senator Dad Fisher. She was
sworn in and Bruce refused to shake the Vice president's hands,
So you know, he stepped all over his wife's moment.

Speaker 6 (01:07:37):
He might have stepped over his wife's moment. But I
understand if I don't with you, I don't f with
you to the grave. Don't shake my hand, don't don't
come over here and trying to talk to me. I
just don't mess with you.

Speaker 2 (01:07:47):
It is what it is.

Speaker 3 (01:07:49):
I get it.

Speaker 6 (01:07:49):
Yeah, he stepped on his wife's moment, but I don't
offf with you. What about you, Jes what your thoughts?

Speaker 9 (01:07:53):
Same?

Speaker 2 (01:07:54):
Yeah, deal with you. I mean, I'm not brother. It's
never gonna be like that.

Speaker 6 (01:07:58):
So whatever to Charlomae and you shaking hand, Well, listen,
it's politics, right, so being at as politics.

Speaker 4 (01:08:04):
It's my wife's moment, it's not mine. So I would
shake the VP's hand. But I do understand. I do
understand it from a political standpoint. You know, from a
political standpoint. It works because Republicans draw a clear line
in the sand and they let you know, we don't
f with these people, we don't have with Democrats, and
the base scenes that and understands it.

Speaker 13 (01:08:26):
Right.

Speaker 4 (01:08:26):
They signal to their base every time that they don't
like Democrats. Democrats are terrible and not worthy of any respect. Nonetheless,
your vote. It's like yesterday, right, I saw everybody saw
a lot of Democrats posting about January sixth, right, and
I saw a lot of Democrats saying things like never
forget who Donald Trump and Republicans are never forget who
these thugs are, which I thought was ridiculous because they

(01:08:49):
won the election. So I don't you're doing this for
what reason? They're doing it because in the future they
want people to remember this is who's caused this, this this,
this insurrection. So maybe when you get into the voting boot,
you'll think about that. Even though it did not work
for the presidential election. But what they were attempting to
do the Republicans yesterday, this Republican Bruce Fisher did by

(01:09:11):
not shaking the VP's hand, signaling to his base and
letting his base know, we don't f with these people.
These people are terrible. That's what Democrats were trying to
do all day yesterday with the insurrection, but they don't
stick for whatever.

Speaker 3 (01:09:24):
But even yesterday, what it showed me is that Trump
rides with his people to the end. He said, when I.

Speaker 4 (01:09:30):
Get in office, my people absolutely.

Speaker 3 (01:09:32):
I'm getting the mouth. What does that show you? He
rides with his people regardless, right, A rong here.

Speaker 6 (01:09:36):
Gonna ride with his people, all right. But let's go
to the phone lines. We got Marquis on the line.
Mar Keys, good morning, good morning, what's your thoughts.

Speaker 27 (01:09:42):
Man, man, First all, won't take good morning to see
you guys.

Speaker 7 (01:09:45):
Man, I see y'all every morning.

Speaker 27 (01:09:47):
I definitely make sure before I get into the car
here the other day.

Speaker 4 (01:09:51):
Yes, sir, appreciate you, but I appreciate that.

Speaker 27 (01:09:54):
Yes, my thoughts are Democrats are like to like the
forgiving black folks, like we always forgive people that do
do what's wrong do. I definitely don't respect, I mean,
don't know appreciate what he did, but I have to
respect it because if I have beep with you, I'm
not gonna smile on your face the next day.

Speaker 13 (01:10:13):
I'm just gonna keep it a buck.

Speaker 4 (01:10:15):
Absolutely. And that's what's so confusing because Democrats spent all
of this time they were calling Trump a fascist, saying
that if you vote for Republicans and Trump is the
end of democracy. But now it's just like we're all
about the peaceful transfer of power and welcome back to
the White House, and well you any way we.

Speaker 3 (01:10:27):
Can LaTrece yes, good morning, the trees. What's your thoughts?

Speaker 20 (01:10:32):
Good morning? You know what, I thought that it was
very disrespectful for him to deny shaking hand, because if it's.

Speaker 14 (01:10:41):
His wife's day, he needs to stand behind his wife,
and if she's.

Speaker 20 (01:10:44):
Showing respect to Kamala, he needs to respect.

Speaker 14 (01:10:47):
His wife and do the same.

Speaker 4 (01:10:48):
I agree with that. That's why I gave him. Don't
get it that he stepped all over his wife's moment.

Speaker 3 (01:10:52):
Okay, thank you, Latrice.

Speaker 4 (01:10:53):
Exactly two things can be true, and that's why that's
why I said during Donkey to Day, I'm able to
look at things, uh, you know, and it's in their
whole totality of opposed to just looking at what I
agree with a disagree with.

Speaker 6 (01:11:04):
Yeah, he might have had that conversation really before with
his wife beforehand.

Speaker 3 (01:11:07):
No, he was like, he might have said, you know,
when we go up there, she tried to shake my hand.
I ain't shaking her hand. Might have hello, who's this?

Speaker 18 (01:11:13):
This is the leader from Detroit at what.

Speaker 3 (01:11:18):
To talk to us? What's your thoughts?

Speaker 17 (01:11:19):
Is?

Speaker 30 (01:11:20):
There's four and there's professional He displayed street to Korum
that's the office of the vice president. He should have
been shaking her hand, and it was his wife's moment
like said, come on now, put some respect on the
vice president's office.

Speaker 4 (01:11:35):
I mean, that's how things are supposed to work in
a normal democracy. But we're not in a normal democracy anymore.
But now democrats keep up with these uh, these traditions
and these political norms, and that's why they got their
ass kicked on No.

Speaker 6 (01:11:48):
Fifth, eight hundred five eight five, one oh five one.
If he's just joining us, Charlamagne gave donkey de data who.

Speaker 4 (01:11:55):
Bruce Fisher, the husband of Senator deb Fisher?

Speaker 3 (01:11:59):
All right? And he and shake her hand.

Speaker 4 (01:12:00):
So we're asking Kamala Harrison's hand the vice president.

Speaker 6 (01:12:02):
Would you shake the vice president's hand if you wasn't
messing with her, if you wasn't effing with her, if
there was a line in the sand, if she's on
one side, you on the other side, or would you
do the right thing, the political.

Speaker 3 (01:12:13):
Thing and shake her head to keep it moving. Let's
discuss this's the breakfast club in the morning, owning everybody.

Speaker 6 (01:12:16):
It's dej envy jess hilarious, Charlomagne the god, we are
the breakfast club. If you're just joining us, Charlemagne gave
donkey of the day to who Bruce.

Speaker 4 (01:12:25):
Fisher, the husband of Senator dead Fisher or Senator Dead
Fisher got sworn in and he refused to shake the
vice president hand while his wife was getting sworn in
for her third sent of term.

Speaker 3 (01:12:34):
So we're asking what are your thoughts.

Speaker 6 (01:12:35):
We got Shauna on the line, Shawna, good morning, Good morning,
what's your thoughts?

Speaker 3 (01:12:39):
Shawna?

Speaker 14 (01:12:40):
All right, Well, I just wanted to make a comment
to Solomagne. I listen to you guys every morning. I'm
driving my daughter to school. I just wanted to say, look,
I think it's filly to think that we have to
respond to the ignorance on the on the other side,
we just need to keep it respectable. I get what
you're saying that the Democrat we we don't have it

(01:13:00):
stand up to the Republicans, but you know what, we
don't have to suit to their level is becoming redundant.
Let them be who they are, and we just need
to push forward and continue to do the things that
we need to do to get back in office. I
don't to that level, Charlamagne.

Speaker 16 (01:13:15):
I hear you every morning.

Speaker 14 (01:13:16):
I'll be yelling at the radio because listen, I don't
think that we should act ratchet like them. We know
who they are. We don't have to suit to those levels.
And I just wanted to say that I love the
breakfast club Jefs hilarious. DJ Envy, I love you guys
and Charlomagne.

Speaker 3 (01:13:36):
Alrighty now so listen, yes, what's your through us?

Speaker 13 (01:13:41):
Listen, this is the day, Envy, We're gonna stop with
this rationalization that we're doing. You're my dog invY, But listen,
I'm over here trying to rationalize saying, oh, you know,
if I don't like somebody, I get that same thing,
you know, same thing that that Jeff said. Well, listen,
let's call a state of set state. We got a
start with this fallacy as African American peoples when it

(01:14:03):
comes to the caucus community. They don't mess with us.
They show us, they show us every time they don't.
But we still ask the same questions. Charlo Maine, you
know this and that they don't mess with us, So
we need to stop messing with them like they show.

Speaker 27 (01:14:19):
Not Now on that.

Speaker 4 (01:14:21):
Now, remember what I said during Donkey of the Day.
I said during Donkey of the Day that Republicans draw
a clear line in the sand. They signal to their
base every time that they don't like Democrats. Democrats are
terrible and not worthy of any respect. Nonetheless, your vote.
And I said the fact that the VP happens to
be a woman and a woman of color. You get
extra points from your base for that, like, this isn't

(01:14:43):
just some this isn't just you know that was that
was my base that yeah, this is this is layered.
This is a layered the disrespect that Bruce showed his layered.

Speaker 13 (01:14:54):
Yes, but everything they do with us is layered. They
always show us the true colors. It's always layered, is
put right in front of us. But we do, you know,
we always trying to rationalize with them going well, you
know they could mean this. No, they show us how
they feel every single time, and we choose not to
accept them. We choose to rationalize even though they you know,
they show us in our face what they feel like.
So you know, with Bruce, I respect it to me.

(01:15:14):
I want them to show us how they feel because
I know who my enemies are. I don't want any
false handshakings or hugs. I want them to show me
how you feel. So I don't want building it all.

Speaker 6 (01:15:23):
Right now we have Eric going on line. Eric is
looking at this a different way. Good morning, Eric, tell
us what your thoughts are.

Speaker 3 (01:15:28):
Well, if you.

Speaker 16 (01:15:29):
Watched the video, if you do being on it, the
senator's been holding a king with the price and the
Bible with the other, so there's no possible way for
him to chose.

Speaker 7 (01:15:38):
To he's hands.

Speaker 16 (01:15:40):
He wasn't being disrespectful.

Speaker 18 (01:15:41):
He's just an old man who walks the cane.

Speaker 7 (01:15:44):
You got to put one inch in the.

Speaker 16 (01:15:45):
Bible on the other only way to shake her he
and his wife the Bible or let go of the cane.

Speaker 18 (01:15:51):
Of fall out of his face.

Speaker 6 (01:15:52):
Now, Eric, you're all right. He is holding a cane
in one hand in the Bible in the other hand.
But right when she goes to shake his hand, he
passes the Bible to the wife. And at that point
he could shake her hand as he's seen the fact
that that she she had her hand out and the
wife is nudging her husband towards the VP. It was
so noticeable that the VP said, hey, I don't bite.

(01:16:12):
You can come closer.

Speaker 16 (01:16:14):
Okay, ride your eyes saw there with a Bible on.

Speaker 4 (01:16:20):
Both Eric, I don't have no problem with you defending
your white fellow white people. Okay, I get it. You're
trying to you're trying, you're trying to look for the right,
the right side of things.

Speaker 6 (01:16:31):
Now, he could have shook her hand and even if
he had when he passed the Bible below, but he
could have went back and shook her hand. He wasn't
giving her a no eye contact. You could clearly see
he wasn't.

Speaker 3 (01:16:39):
After what. All right, Well, is there moral to the story?

Speaker 7 (01:16:43):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (01:16:43):
No, there is not a moral to the story, because
none of this is gonna change. None of it is
gonna change. Republicans are gonna continue to draw clear lines
in the sand and let their base know who the
enemy is. And Democrats are going to continue to try
to do the right thing. Okay, and and when they
go over, they go hi. And that's why you're gonna
keep getting you all last kicked in these elections.

Speaker 3 (01:17:04):
All right, Well, we got Jess with the mess coming up.
What we're talking about?

Speaker 5 (01:17:07):
Jess Man, they owe meet and posted that, Uh she
done broke up with Core day. So we're gonna get
into that because I was just up here saying something different.

Speaker 3 (01:17:15):
Yeah, I thought he was just saying eything. Well, we'll
get into it next.

Speaker 2 (01:17:18):
We'll get into it.

Speaker 3 (01:17:19):
It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, poring everybody. It's stee
j n V.

Speaker 6 (01:17:23):
Just ilarious, Charlamagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club
appy New Year, and let's get to Jess with the mess.

Speaker 4 (01:17:28):
Just hilarious, superstar. That's funny. Now you're just with the
mess your news you.

Speaker 2 (01:17:32):
Will something so funny.

Speaker 3 (01:17:35):
I gotta say that she's one of my favorite people
on Instagram. Pret's hilarious.

Speaker 2 (01:17:41):
Whether it's hilarious Jeff car Robber.

Speaker 19 (01:17:43):
Moore on the Breakfast Club, Damn Jess, what's the news today?

Speaker 5 (01:17:53):
Well, fans believe that Drake had dissed Lebron James in
this new freestyle. So a freestyle was released on doctor
Williams YouTube. So Conductor Williams is a producer that Drake
works with a lot. And what was interesting was it
was later deleted from YouTube, but then it was re uploaded,
so ig everybody thought it was deleted because it wasn't
supposed to been leaked or whatever. But it was uploaded

(01:18:15):
by somebody else that works with Drake, somebody on his
team who does his visuals.

Speaker 2 (01:18:18):
This girl and Drake is sitting.

Speaker 5 (01:18:20):
In a dim room with like fire or whatever, and
he's going in and this is the freestyle was called
fighting Nourish.

Speaker 2 (01:18:26):
Let's take a listen.

Speaker 9 (01:18:29):
The world fell in love with again. It's even my
brothers got tickets. Seemed like they loved every minute. Just
know this personal to us, and it wasn't just business
analyzing behavioral patterns. It's somewhat suspicious.

Speaker 2 (01:18:40):
She was never happy for me when.

Speaker 9 (01:18:41):
I run up the digits, or when I'm breaking world
records still as I guzzled againness, or when I get
my fifth may back.

Speaker 2 (01:18:47):
Because the color is different.

Speaker 4 (01:18:48):
Remember we trading watches.

Speaker 9 (01:18:50):
I gave you the Aaron By God, you gave me
a number of the dish. You would even check up
on my son like a pediatrician. Short convinced the gang
and it was rooted in love. When it is, it
showed me different. We are just blessings and justice position.
I guess now you boys got abandon your summer tradition.

Speaker 5 (01:19:07):
People think he was going at Lebron in his freestyle
because he mentioned his brother receiving tickets and giving it
too gimmicks. So we all know Lebron went to the
junetieth pop out, and I remember it was rumored that
Drake was so mad at Lebron.

Speaker 2 (01:19:21):
Being at the pop out.

Speaker 5 (01:19:22):
You know that he unfollowed him on ig and then
he makes reference to Arabic dial that's a Rolex and
the watch a watch. Drake says he traded with somebody.
Now it's photos of Lebron with his watch on throughout
the years. So people are just putting two on two together.

Speaker 4 (01:19:36):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:19:36):
The fans, they speculate me come up with stuff and
they think that he talking about Lebron watch. But this
is also something crazy.

Speaker 5 (01:19:43):
It's also a part of the freestyle where Drake hints
at tarnishing somebody's public image.

Speaker 2 (01:19:47):
Let's listen talking about we family.

Speaker 9 (01:19:50):
Well, I'm not the cousin a visit, God forbid, we
ever got a tarnish your public image?

Speaker 4 (01:19:55):
All that brother talks if I.

Speaker 9 (01:19:56):
Really discovered a sibling six degrees, my memory is retrieving
on the beginning's going to trouble, grabs the shovel and
other some ditches cover my body in dirts.

Speaker 4 (01:20:05):
And that wasn't mean corny, right, Nobody talking about it.
Nobody told you to get them people tattooed on you.

Speaker 13 (01:20:13):
Boy.

Speaker 6 (01:20:15):
Well, I will say this, I think it's Arabic dow.
But if they were that close, and they would that cool,
and it seems like they were, and he probably felt
like Lebron is his friend, and and they spent summers together,
and they spent time in Miami and Toronto. And I
put and I put my jersey on my arm at
tattooed you to do that. I tattooed your jersey. We
probably we thought we were friends, we thought we were boys.

(01:20:37):
We thought we were and then all of a sudden,
when the world is kicking my back down and the
world is kicking my back, and said, and you join.

Speaker 3 (01:20:44):
I feel the way too.

Speaker 2 (01:20:45):
You say, just you sound like a loveletter, like yo,
what have you cheated?

Speaker 9 (01:20:49):
Like?

Speaker 2 (01:20:49):
You know what I'm saying. It sounds like they was lovers,
Like this is too much.

Speaker 4 (01:20:52):
It sounds and it does sound like Drake broke up
with all his NBA boos in his head, in his head.

Speaker 2 (01:20:59):
You even check up on my son like a pediatrician
right now.

Speaker 4 (01:21:05):
I like when Drake raps, But why are you sitting
around writing the Heartbreak records?

Speaker 2 (01:21:09):
But that's what he should because he's got a dark
damn room.

Speaker 3 (01:21:11):
But that's what he should do. That's what we said.

Speaker 6 (01:21:13):
We instead of of going to Instagram and ig and
social media, we should he should be putting it in
his music.

Speaker 3 (01:21:18):
I would have loved to hear an album off of it.

Speaker 4 (01:21:20):
But you're writing Heartbreak records because you got your ass
kicked in a rap battle, and everybody in R and B,
which is.

Speaker 3 (01:21:27):
So crazy, y'all said he should say he shouldn't be
talking about it.

Speaker 6 (01:21:30):
He should put in his music. And when he puts
it in his music, you're saying he's a sucker for
putting his news.

Speaker 29 (01:21:34):
We just say it.

Speaker 4 (01:21:35):
Don't sound gay about it when you're doing it. That's
what we're simply.

Speaker 3 (01:21:39):
That's just fat.

Speaker 7 (01:21:40):
That's his feeling.

Speaker 4 (01:21:41):
Now, you got like just said they sound like love
was bro was like, bro, you clearly liked me, bore
not like you said, I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:21:48):
Like nobody, but you real people was going off about
it because it's given what this drake had all.

Speaker 4 (01:21:58):
Yeah, but it just sounds like you got the room
with Lebron.

Speaker 7 (01:22:04):
In his head.

Speaker 3 (01:22:06):
We stopped been writing, you know anyway.

Speaker 4 (01:22:13):
Yo.

Speaker 2 (01:22:13):
Naomi Osaka Nelson's break up with cord A y.

Speaker 13 (01:22:19):
Yes.

Speaker 5 (01:22:22):
She shared a post announcing that she broke up with him.
She said, Hi, everyone just wanted to say that Corday
and I are no longer in a relationship.

Speaker 2 (01:22:28):
No bad blood at all. He's a great person and
an awesome dad.

Speaker 5 (01:22:31):
Honestly, really glad that our our paths crossed because my
daughter is my biggest blessing and I was able to
grow a lot from our experiences together. And that's crazy
because we just had this nigga up here before the
end of the year, right and he said something totally different.

Speaker 2 (01:22:45):
How are you in Naomi? Though Ye're no we good man?

Speaker 5 (01:22:48):
I know, because y'all don't post each other so much,
people even speculate about that maybe they broke up or
anything that speaks to what you were talking about about
just everything connecting negatively.

Speaker 3 (01:22:57):
I am a super private person.

Speaker 1 (01:22:59):
I am like I tried my best as much as
I can be, Like when it comes to my personal life,
to be super private, like as much as I can be,
because some stuff you got to keep for yourself. And
when you allow like outside opinion, when you let and
outside opinions can be family members, you know what I'm saying,
And that can get in the way of stuff that's
important to you.

Speaker 2 (01:23:18):
So man, when you add the world to that, that
that's a whole nother thing.

Speaker 1 (01:23:21):
And so I try to be as private as I
possibly can about like my personal life, like you know,
even with my daughter and you know, my relationship and stuff.

Speaker 5 (01:23:30):
I know he wished that she was super private about
some things, because that would have that would be like
a slap in my face, Like, yo, I just told
them that I'm so private, and she.

Speaker 2 (01:23:41):
Just straight posted it. I never understood that though.

Speaker 5 (01:23:43):
I never understood why people had to do that, Like
why are you making a public announcement that y'all broke up?

Speaker 2 (01:23:49):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (01:23:50):
Like if y'all was private about your relationship, you know what.

Speaker 2 (01:23:53):
I'm saying, Like, wow, what does that do? You know
what I'm saying, What is that supposed to do?

Speaker 13 (01:23:56):
Now?

Speaker 3 (01:23:57):
What you know?

Speaker 2 (01:23:57):
You're letting niggas know all right, you can jump in the.

Speaker 5 (01:23:59):
DM you know, tennis shorty out head back on the streets,
like why why, why would you have to do that?

Speaker 2 (01:24:06):
But it's so that's just mess.

Speaker 4 (01:24:09):
This is just what the mess was all about. One
side of relationships coll they thought things was all good.
Drake thought things was all good. And these athletes relationships
with are like, nah, we cool.

Speaker 6 (01:24:18):
All right, that's what it is, he said, these athletes,
all right, Well that is just the mess. Thank you, Jess,
You're welcome. I'll just get to the people's choice fix.

but man, I thought it was crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:24:55):
It's about nine inches here.

Speaker 4 (01:24:57):
Yeah. Governor Wes Moore said it's a state of emergency
and Maryland, but stay your ass.

Speaker 2 (01:25:02):
Off the road most definitely, you know, all right?

Speaker 5 (01:25:05):
Well, oh and then also was black ice, so because
it gets cold at night, so it's it's slippery as.

Speaker 6 (01:25:11):
Hell, especially the time that you would be driving in there.
But it would be super duple dangerous.

Speaker 4 (01:25:15):
That we call it black ice. It's just another thing
that we put black on that you know, it's negative
for no reason. I don't know what I think.

Speaker 6 (01:25:22):
Because the streets is black is black, and you can't
see it, so it's like instead of ice, you can't
see it because it's.

Speaker 4 (01:25:29):
It's not true sometimes to be on gray sidewalks sometimes
to be on great highways. What are you talking about them?

Speaker 3 (01:25:37):
Ask for okay, doctor Lumar?

Speaker 4 (01:25:39):
If ain't Doctor Wamar, is just true? Anything negative they
put black on, they just do Oh my god, black liquor,
black jelly beans, the nastiest jelly bean.

Speaker 3 (01:25:49):
They are disgusting.

Speaker 27 (01:25:54):
All right.

Speaker 3 (01:25:54):

what you can't change. I was just talking to somebody

the things that they want to do for twenty twenty

and the let go of things they can't control. And
I really want y'all to know that one of the
