Speaker 8 (00:39):
Please come.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
Off wa and I think that you know, the short
hair still makes it even more recognizing.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Well, you know, we call her brandicak. I love that
she got the short hair.

Speaker 9 (00:52):
I've been telling them I need to do when she
do the series, come get me. I don't know what
age I could play. I'm older now, but.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
I think you can play to young Brandy.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
But welcome, Ray. How are you feeling how you feel?
You're good?

Speaker 4 (01:02):
I'm feeling good.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
You got a lot going on, a.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
Lot going on. Yeah, I want to I want to
make it. Really, I'm happy that this is my platform. Now,
thank you for forgiving me the opportunity to go into
the holidays and the Q four correctly. Okay, with respect
and honor and love.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Well, listen, let's start with the legal stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
With legal stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
What I thought y'all didn't want to I thought that
we couldn't.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Why can't we?

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Oh no, oh you mean yes? I was gonna say
the first and foremost. I just want to tell you.
People don't know that we really love you Ray. Thank
for for for new listeners. Ray was our first guest ever.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
On the Yes, I was before I went crazy on
the rant.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Before the Ring.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
I was the first guest guest on the Breakfast Ever.
I was the first guest ever.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
He was the first viral moment also on the Breakfast
Club as well. Yeah, so we got we we love Ray.
We talked about Ray all the time and go to bad.
We just know what we love.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
Thank you. I would rather you guys always talk good
about me.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
But it's okay, but the band is on you.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
But yeah, as you guys are my friends, and plus
we're all entertainers and you guys have to do what
you have to do. Charlemagne. No, sometimes I get a
little emotional all the time.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Me and Ray had a good heart to heart a
lot this year.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
Yeah, and so sometimes because I get emotional, you know,
and and but I do sometimes, but because we're all
in our zone. I'm a journalist as well, and so
I just I just feel a little bit like this
is my personal people. But you guys have to keep
it neutral, you know, throughout you know, the day, because

(02:35):
that's the way you're supposed to be. So it can
be one sided because that's not what journalism is about.

Speaker 6 (02:40):
I appreciated the phone call though, because I'm like, you know,
there's not people that's gonna be honest, and that's the
way Ray was feeling.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
But he was all my life. First he was like,
Charlamage's a piece of Yeah, hates Charlamagne.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
I was like he said, and then we talked, even
we went I called Charlemagne a lot. And there's just
times what I feel like, you know, and and this
it's not I'm not being neutral, but I feel like
sometimes y'all can have my back or you know, in
certain instances what I'm going through, just give it a

(03:10):
little more seriousness on my side. But but we.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Do put we protect Ray a lot.

Speaker 6 (03:15):
But Reggie got a comedian energy to where you don't
know when he's being serious.

Speaker 9 (03:19):
It was the first time we spoke and serious conversation,
but I didn't know when you're being serious. And sometimes
I laughed and I'll put on mute because I didn't
want you to feel the way.

Speaker 5 (03:26):
But you're just laughing mute crazy because he's.

Speaker 9 (03:29):
Funny naturally, but he's really serious and everything's like so heartfelt,
so you don't want to laugh.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
But yeah, a lot of people try to hold it in,
but I'm serious. I'm serious. Everything that I've been going through,
it's been up and down, and everybody has their up
and down days. And I think with the streaming world,
and shout out to Kay Sanat for kind of like
opening up his doors to UK, yeah, because he really
like put us really on and the stream in a
different way. And from there, when you're on your streams

(03:56):
and you're streaming twenty four hours, it's like therapy. Yeah,
you go through these therapy sessions with the chat because
nothing's bigger than the chat. And then you I don't
I don't know every time it's gonna go this viral
when I be saying certain things, So then I watch
it the next day and I'm like, oh, man, I
gotta stand on that.

Speaker 6 (04:13):
But people, I'm gonna tell what I love to I
love seeing you on stage with your sister, and I
love seeing your niece with you. I love what I've
seen your real family around you. That's when you look
your whole, your whole.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Your whole.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
And I was so excited when I found out we
were coming up here together. I'm like, vin, this is everything,
because again, I do want to turn the tides and
I do want to, you know, showcase a different side
of me because I think we've been crashing out to
the left too much. And again, everything is entertainment, but
you know, you just want to make sure you kind

(04:44):
of like guarantee to everybody that this isn't a liability situation.
Or every time I'm in the airport and they're like, we
praying for you, a j Everything's okay, I'm like, dang, because.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
People don't know when you're crashing out and crashing out
or if you're just entertaining.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
So it's been a lot of brand for you. Man,
God bless you.

Speaker 7 (05:02):
Man.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
I hope you're gonna be all right.

Speaker 6 (05:03):
People think you're on drugs, and then you've got mental
health issues, but which we all deal with our own
mental health issues.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
Mental health is serious. And shout out to doctor Cheyenne Bryant. Yeah,
she's I mean we talk a lot and off camera
and it's always off camera, but she helps me through
certain things. And doctor Scott too out of Cleveland. Pastor
Scott helps me through some of some of the issues

(05:28):
that I'll be going through too, and it helps me.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Man, what you learned, What have you learned about yourself?

Speaker 4 (05:33):
Well, you know every day when I you got to
watch yourself. It's easy to know it when you just
watch it, and I think without adding in the trolling,
you know, it's it's just me just keeping it real.
And a lot of times people can't, I think, keep

(05:53):
it this real because there's a lot of different situations
that might be in front of them, the job, their
work space, their partners, to people that are around them
that might feel away that's paying, you know, the bills,
whatever it is. You know, there's a lot of things
that people go through that keep them away from being
this extremely blunt. But for me, it's not like that.

(06:13):
And I think that I have to hold myself responsible
to hold some of this stuff in as we grow
and as I grow, I'm getting older, and I want
my niece to be proud of me, and I want
the team to be proud of me. And we can't
crash out in twenty twenty six.

Speaker 6 (06:29):
So when the public paints you is the bad guy
for years, what does that do to you?

Speaker 1 (06:33):
Mentally? How do you protect your piece?

Speaker 4 (06:35):
Now you just turn into the bad guy?

Speaker 1 (06:37):
Ooh, lean into your shadow side?

Speaker 4 (06:40):
Will you not only lean into it? Because I think
that's the only thing that I think makes sense. You know,
It's almost like, you know, if if you're doing something
that's extremely believable, then it works. But if you're doing
something that's not and it might be really who you
really are, people don't understand it. And so it sometimes

(07:02):
it takes a toll to try to like, hey, I'm
going to be positive for twenty twenty six, ray J
is going to turn the new leaf. He's gonna be
a good person. But that's who I am internally, no
matter what. So when the character comes out, if it
gets over the top and it's the impressions are up,
you know, the profit the profits are up, you know

(07:24):
what I mean, The numbers are up. Then it makes sense.
But but then on the other side, you know there's
a negative side to that too, with whatever comments people
are putting in. I don't read any comments or nothing,
but overall, just I really want my family to be
proud of me, and they want me to show a
different side of myself. You know what I mean that

(07:45):
I don't really show, and so I'm up for it
and I want to do it for twenty twenty six because.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
Ray J's sober. Now, last time you were up here,
you was playing with the little lead.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
But you look thinner, you look clearer, So I'm assuming
not anymore with the lean.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
Yes, yeah, no, not the lean. It's certain things are bad,
are bad, and I think you.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Don't even know. Last time you was up here, you
know me and sell them me dumped it out and
act like it was really there wasn't.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
There, And that's what that's where That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Right, we dumped it out like you don't think we
love it.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
It's okay, okay, now very expensive, So it was just
like but no again, you have to have self control
eventually over time, because if you have the option to
make mistakes and just and it works. The mistakes work,

(08:46):
then you find yourself in a weird position because crashing
out works, So how do you balance that with you know,
just being level in life? And sometimes for me it
just gets comfus us and everything just becomes blank and
it always just gives real blurry right now.

Speaker 6 (09:05):
It's really when you say it works though, because you know,
when you think about Raycon Tronics, you've built these hundred
million dollar businesses. To me, that's working, absolutely they we're
crashing out is just a tension online that's not really working.

Speaker 4 (09:19):
But it does work. It does work for impressions. It
does work for certain scales. When you're doing Snapchat or
you're doing Twitter, or you're doing Instagram, or you're doing
Twitch and you're running you know, fifteen ads an hour
and you want your CPM to be solid, right, and
you're running them at night in late night, and you
want those to work as well. So I think it

(09:41):
all works if you're looking at it from a really
scientific level. And I think a lot of people don't
think we look at it like that, but we do.
But enough is enough at some point, right And I
don't know when it is. I don't know when enough
is enough because I'm like, enough's enough now. But I'm like,
is it a I'm just saying. I'm just saying is

(10:03):
two days ago? Because when people, when people hire me
to do a job and I come and I go, yo,
what do you guys want me to do? They're like,
do what you do, not too much, but do what
you do so not too much. Tells me okay, you
want me to do what ray J does. And again, balance, prayer,

(10:24):
support more than anything is what matters. And I feel
like throughout this whole grind, there hasn't like the support
system for ray J is very minimal. But it's okay.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
So ah, you're changing a new leaf now because two
days ago, you call Mario gay, I.

Speaker 4 (10:44):
Called Mario no. I said, I never seen Mario with
a woman, but I love Mario and I'm sure he
has women. And I'm sorry, mart I'm so sorry, exactly
so I made a mistake.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
Also, you said wile they was, you know, you said
the hospitality of his show and pretty much called him
a sucker.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
I'm sorry while I for that as well, and I
want to extend my apology to La Mario. He did
a great job with Brandy. I appreciate Brandy faving my back.
She said, I needed to just slow down on all
the extra curricular things that I do on the side,
and I would be able to compete.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
So you longer want to battle him in the verses in.

Speaker 4 (11:18):
A versus what they had the main stage, they were
headlining the verses, and then we did the beginning of
the verses, and all together collectively it was a successful disaster.

Speaker 6 (11:28):
I told Mario that he didn't let you on stage
because he was afraid.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
Of I'm telling you because I was on the side.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
He was just here.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
So I see Mario on the side of the stage,
I walk up to him. Were in Baltimore or we know,
we in d C.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
And we got let's hear Mark. We got Mark.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
Okay, Mario, even if he says something bad, God bless him.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
He's here.

Speaker 5 (11:53):
He's here like we had him in the wait.

Speaker 4 (11:59):
I just today, Sarah's here and you know, Sheila is here,
and the whole team is king Cooper. Don't hide, don't.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
Hide, you can't Coop.

Speaker 4 (12:11):
You got I hit. I hit me and said, wow,
you have my back for one time, I said, I said, DJ,
but you haven't had it for a few times.

Speaker 3 (12:22):
I'm sorry I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Something said you ain't let him on that stage. What
was going to happen?

Speaker 10 (12:28):
Yeah, you said I didn't let him.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
Wanted to do right not there.

Speaker 10 (12:33):
You can ask Je what happened backstage. I was like, Yo,
let's do it, let's make it happen. He was like, nigga,
shrink me. Just just I don't care what you do,
just don't just just make it happen. I'm like, I
didn't even know he was gonna be there.

Speaker 11 (12:44):
Bad.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
I got you.

Speaker 3 (12:45):
They didn't let him on stage.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
It wasn't me, that's not story. Story was. I wanted
to do the verses right then.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
So Mario, out of all people, you trust Reggie's story.

Speaker 4 (12:55):
Damn Mario, that's not okay. I saw Mario behind this stage,
and when they said Mario's here, I'm like, no way,
this is a coincidence. It's perfect for us to do
what we gotta do. I didn't know because somebody, well
my management said wile A wanted ray J to come

(13:17):
out for a homecoming event or whatever, and I'm like,
I'm doing the DMV Baltimore's Subathan. Anyway, let's go up there.
I didn't talk to La or none of them, so
I didn't know really who invited me. I ended up backstage.
They said Mario's upstairs. I said, let's go find him.
We went up. I said, Mario, what's up? He said,
what's up? Ray J? I said, what's up? I said,
it's time. I said, you're about to get on stage

(13:38):
and then I need to battle you with my song.
I said, Bro, even if I lose gota, we gotta
do it. He said, And I promise you give me
five minutes to think about it. And I go five
minutes to think about it. So then he goes down
and then I go down. Ten minutes later he's performing,
so he didn't give me the five minutes. He's just

(13:58):
liked of shaded me on that end. And so I
was standing on the side of the stage waiting for Mike,
and they start directing me off like traffic, like with
the car, like ray J, come on this way, call
that way, and I'll get the hell out of here.
And I was just like, yeah, it was crazy.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
They kicked you out.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
They didn't kick me out, but they kind of just
told me to get off because they they was like,
we don't want no problems here.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
What ray J? Was it? Was it this ray J?
Or was it it was this?

Speaker 4 (14:23):
It was this ray J. My eyes was really wide
and I was ready to get on stage. They go,
we don't want those problems here, come on, and I
just was like, all.

Speaker 5 (14:34):
Right, Mario, ever look over and see you like you
know how that you on a stage, what you could see?

Speaker 4 (14:38):
He didn't want no problems at that point because I
knew that d C, which is one of my favorite
cities in the world. I love DC. Shout out to
Kathy Hughes, Shout out to d C. I wanted it
so bad, but they they didn't. They didn't let it happen.
So I respected. I was a little mad, But I
think after that night I started to go, you know what,
maybe I'm a little mad too much. I need to

(15:00):
switch up from the cost of migos to maybe Tito's how.

Speaker 6 (15:03):
Many love that you got? I say three in the possible.

Speaker 4 (15:08):
It just depends on where you are. Like, I think
that the the the verses for no limit and cash
money should have been in New Orleans. Absolutely, it would
have been a whole nother thing.

Speaker 5 (15:17):
So where does y J versus take place?

Speaker 4 (15:19):
Ray J's versus?

Speaker 9 (15:20):
If you have the perfect setting in Baltimore and Baltimore Okay, yeah, and.

Speaker 6 (15:23):
It's hometown's hometown because I love.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
I love Mario and I love Baltimore. You know, I
think doing it in LA wouldn't be fair because now
I'm doing songs that Mario might not even even heard,
and they still live and they still platinum.

Speaker 5 (15:37):
You know, what song do you lead with?

Speaker 6 (15:39):
Like?

Speaker 5 (15:39):
What's your number one?

Speaker 4 (15:40):
The song that I lead with is one Wish No
at the Gate, because I got I got a new
gospel version.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
That's dope.

Speaker 6 (15:50):
You should be allowed to do one wish three times,
three different ways. You mean you're supposed to get three wishes,
so so it should be more than one wish. So
one wish than you doing one with your laugh, then
you can know one wish. Afro beats yep, kill them.

Speaker 4 (16:03):
I think one wish five times.

Speaker 6 (16:05):
Then sexy can I.

Speaker 4 (16:06):
I said, this is what I said. I said, let
me love you is not bigger than one wish.

Speaker 6 (16:12):
You should let me love I.

Speaker 5 (16:14):
Don't know, Jay, I love one wish.

Speaker 9 (16:17):
I love to see performance, but I do think what's
the metrics that me love you is bigger?

Speaker 1 (16:22):
But you can look it up, you can see well.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
But then also also taking the account. I'm one thousand
percent independent. Like there's there's there's no there's no like.
There's no catch distribution on this one. There's no epic
distribution on this one. This is just straight sanctuary and
Ray J a three percent like deal within ninety seven
percent us Forever.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
Sexy can, I Sexy can, Sexy.

Speaker 4 (16:45):
Cannot is bigger than let Me Love You to me.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
Hit it first is a possible.

Speaker 4 (16:48):
Hit it first is not okay, you can do.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
Hit it first?

Speaker 4 (16:51):
Well, hit it first never really big record.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
People know that record.

Speaker 4 (16:54):
That's crazy because it never really saw the light of day.

Speaker 6 (16:56):
And I want you to know that those two right
there said that Mario would wash you in a verse.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
I don't know why he's not keeping.

Speaker 4 (17:01):
That, and I think so, But honestly, I don't think
that you listen, I think so too.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
I think I think you got five George. I think.

Speaker 4 (17:11):
Mario can sing live as hell.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
For yourn at one.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
Mario only got one. Join you just a friend, braid
right here, the joy with Gucci.

Speaker 4 (17:28):
I love you, and I love that. Brandy supported me too,
but she also said, Ray gotta you know, do right
in order to compete, because Mario is a serial singer.
He's a serial singer, and I respect that, and I
think that in a versus live right now, Mario will
crush me.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
I'm glad you and your sister got back on the.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
I love being.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
How did that happen?

Speaker 4 (17:49):
We always been on the same page. I think just
publicly it was just you know, she brought me out
at the concert, but I was just every time I
get around bed and my mom and Sarah, I just
get real emotional, man.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
And you straight up you don't act like you act
anywhere else with them.

Speaker 4 (18:04):
I'm sure, yeah, no, And I think that it's just
enough is enough. And I'm so happy that Raro's here
today because it just it makes me do better no
matter what, because I know my mama is watching and
my dad and Brandy and so like, I'm like, I'm
really a comedian. We really are in like this Richard Pryor,

(18:27):
like Red Fox for a mat of comedy where it's
uncut right, and if everybody took it like that, I
think it'd be better. But for the seriousness of what
it is, I just I don't want to let them
down moving forward, and I just want to do right.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
How can we to come out during the show.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
How can we didn't sing during the show because everybody
was expected one.

Speaker 4 (18:49):
Wish we at least well, Brandy and Monica wanted me
to do what you know, they wanted to get my idea,
and I just said, for the first one for just
let me just come out and go up and down,
just for me to just say hi, because I don't
want to. I don't want to get hype.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
You can shut it down.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
I could have didn't one wish.

Speaker 4 (19:08):
Wait a minute, well, I just didn't want to do
anything wrong.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
Sexy cannot want.

Speaker 9 (19:12):
To wish you So you guys had just got back
to that point of you been coming out with her
and you just didn't want to mess it up.

Speaker 4 (19:18):
Yeah, Like I just just wanted to just just make it,
just make it peaceful, you know. And shout out to
Usher's mom too, because I've seen her. We all took
a picture of my mom Usher's mom Brandy, and she
was like, I want to talk to you too, because
it seemed like she has something on her mind to
tell me. But it never happened. But I hope it
does because I was curious on what she was gonna say.
But I'm just you know, I'm in a listening mode. You.

(19:43):
I mean, I'm not in healing mode, but I just
I want to do the right thing.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
What did one music fest?

Speaker 6 (19:52):
Did one music fest make you want to get back
on stage?

Speaker 5 (19:58):
And why didn't give you a stage?

Speaker 1 (20:00):

Speaker 3 (20:36):
Served your core audience.

Speaker 1 (20:38):
Do you think he did a good job, niece.

Speaker 4 (20:46):
She probably didn't see the whole thing.

Speaker 6 (20:49):

one of the greatest entertainers walk in the face of
the earth. He was out there entertainer.

Speaker 4 (20:59):

It looked a little different.

Speaker 1 (21:04):
You want to get in shape and get you.

Speaker 4 (21:05):
Know, like what everybody keeps saying, I'm the only like
person with a belly and a six pack.

Speaker 3 (21:09):
That's what they kept saying. Yes, they did so.

Speaker 4 (21:11):
Because because you know what, I hold my my kids
like this. I don't hold them like this, So my
belly's out and then naturally just kind of but if
I just sucked it in, everything will be good. But
I think that, yeah, but I do want to go
to the gym.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
You know.

Speaker 3 (21:46):
The record is doe. She looks at you like I'm old, just.

Speaker 4 (21:50):
Grown.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
No, I mean, come on, lip, But if the record
is dope, but why do you go that way in
your record? Because you know, you say you want to
get back with your wife and have your family together.
But then in that record you I got a bitch
of thisipend house, and I gotta bitch in this house.
I got a bitch here, I got a bitch here.

Speaker 5 (23:46):
To what's the clean?

Speaker 3 (23:47):
The record is the clean version, just.

Speaker 4 (23:48):
Without all of the curse words because at first when
you knew it, it just don't have it's no song.
You're gonna play an envy with the clean.

Speaker 3 (23:55):

club record. I heard the record. I'm like the regular.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
Do you still have sex with Scripples?

Speaker 4 (24:03):
I do? Yeah, Okay, I do, I do here and there,
But I'm not. I'm really not a sexyholic at all. Yeah,

Speaker 1 (24:22):

Speaker 3 (24:41):
You want to come in this segment, not this.

Speaker 11 (24:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (24:44):
And what's crazy is that.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
I saw you make I saw on share Room you
had this young lady crying.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
She was crying.

Speaker 1 (24:50):
I'm not gonna lie. It was a part of me.
I was like, that's kind of playing just a little bit.

Speaker 3 (24:53):
What made cry?

Speaker 1 (24:54):
Yeah, just a little bit.

Speaker 6 (24:55):
Just the way is just the way, because once again
I can't tell when ray J being serious. He's entertaining
that it was.

Speaker 4 (25:01):
Just all about the chat.

Speaker 3 (25:02):
It wasn't.

Speaker 4 (25:03):
No, she wasn't.

Speaker 5 (25:05):
So y'all are in?

Speaker 6 (25:07):

doing as a whole in reality.

Speaker 6 (25:30):
So so she you're holding Reggie now he goes back
to his family.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
How does that feel?

Speaker 6 (25:35):
That is crazy? You know what?

Speaker 7 (25:37):
Let me say this, ray J and I are really
good friends.

Speaker 4 (25:42):
You know you're looking good today.

Speaker 7 (25:44):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (25:45):
I may cry, I may not, but are your more
than friends? Are y'all?

Speaker 7 (25:49):
We're really good friends.

Speaker 1 (25:51):
What you what were you crying over?

Speaker 7 (25:52):
You can do what you want with that information.

Speaker 4 (25:55):
Sheila was crying because she couldn't be on the on
the front desk and the back down was where her
office was with Clark and they were doing their streams.
I thought you was to family, but that wasn't what
she was crying. Yeah, so what she was crying for
because I was like, yo, I'm on the front desk.
You have to do this desk and you can work

(26:15):
your way up to the front desk, but right now
this is my chat. You have your chat, Clark asked
his chat.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
She's so scared you're gonna fall fro him and then
he you know, you get connected and he leaves for
goes back to his family.

Speaker 11 (26:27):
No, not necessarily. You know, that wasn't my first time
I cried. I was like probably my fourth time crying.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
Well, because she well, and I really like the week,
and I respect everybody that cried. Some people and I don't.
I don't know people's water base, right, but some people
cry more than others. So she cries a lot, just
even when she's happy or sad.

Speaker 7 (26:54):
Right, I mean, I'm a cancer, y'all to cancer as
much as me.

Speaker 1 (27:00):
I'm all like I do, but not a lot.

Speaker 11 (27:02):
You understand, Like I'm like, I don't see you as
a June cancer.

Speaker 7 (27:08):
You know what June twenty six?

Speaker 1 (27:09):
Oh yeah, I'm twenty nine.

Speaker 11 (27:10):
Okay, okay, okay, So so you kind of understand where
I'm coming from.

Speaker 9 (27:14):
The first time you cry it was about the or
the last time we saw it was the desk.

Speaker 5 (27:17):
What were the other issues that.

Speaker 11 (27:18):
We I honestly cry about anything, like if if he
tells me he doesn't like my hair, I'll cry, like
it's just.

Speaker 4 (27:30):
I love your hair. I'm just I love your hair
now and I love your hair yesterday.

Speaker 3 (27:35):
Yeah, So where do you want it to go? What?

Speaker 2 (27:37):
Because Pete, that's the chat is asking like where do
you want this relationship to go. Do you wanted to
be serious, want to make it?

Speaker 11 (27:42):
This is a relationship, Yeah, for sure, this is a relationship.

Speaker 7 (27:46):
This great. Uh, this is a really good friendship. It's
a good.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
Start to Ray said, we go together because once you
bump ugly, it goes to another world.

Speaker 4 (28:00):
We're really good friends, right right, absolutely, But Love Cabin
is going crazy in all new episodes Sunday.

Speaker 6 (28:07):
On zeus Why you haven't run your knees though.

Speaker 4 (28:10):
Well, this is the first time they ever been. Well,
they actually got into a spat before when they didn't
know each other, and they haven't worked it out yet.
But we're gonna work it out. Listen, We're gonna hold on,
We're gonna, We're gonna They had they got into an
argument at a club when I wasn't there, and so
they didn't know each other, and I.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
Haven't walked up like she was family, like, yo, what's up?

Speaker 4 (28:33):
Well no, no, no, it was something they she didn't
know that was my knees, and so they had got
into it and I'm like, yo, that's my knees, and
so I want everything to be at peace. I'm turning
a new leaf.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
I got all money on right Rock.

Speaker 4 (28:48):
Little Yeah, we wouldn't even do that because that's my
little niece and I love her so much and I
love everything that she's doing with her career.

Speaker 6 (28:55):
And me to your family, and your family said they
don't like somebody. Is it the energy?

Speaker 4 (28:59):
I just we all got to sit down after this,
Well after the breakfast club, I think we're all going
to go and have lunch.

Speaker 8 (29:06):
Breakfast I got.

Speaker 3 (29:08):
She says, she got more present.

Speaker 9 (29:11):
So you expect this to go somewhere then if she
because I thought the show was like you're helping other
people find love, you find the love to No, this
is about.

Speaker 4 (29:18):
This is about love cabin, the love cabin. You don't
know how it's gonna like the last like twelve episodes
are going to go crazy.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
You're not supposed to get high off your own supply.

Speaker 4 (29:30):
If she is, if she is a tested and she's beautiful,
well the product, well, you got to understand ray J
as a host on this show is a different host.
He's a he's a dirtier host than most, but he's
he's very curious and he invites himself into the.

Speaker 3 (29:46):
Competition shining your product.

Speaker 4 (29:48):
This is a different hosting.

Speaker 7 (29:49):
Gig, trying to find love as well.

Speaker 3 (29:52):
But are you are you fine with that that he's
you know, finding, you know, tasting his product.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
You're not the only ones with.

Speaker 12 (29:58):
You got well, if you watch well, if you watched
the last episode, I was kissing Athena, which was a
kissed you, she kissed me, which was amazing, kissed you, right, So.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
It's okay that you're not the only one you find
with it.

Speaker 11 (30:12):
What do you what do you mean like that, I'm
not the only one in regards to in.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
Regard to where J puts his penis.

Speaker 11 (30:19):
Well, like I said, Ray and I were really good friends,
and whatever he decides to do with his penis is.

Speaker 4 (30:27):
Well here, so my niece is here, so we got
to keep penis out. I'm sorry, I just gotta keep
just saying no, no, no, no, But I'm saying but
still uncle and penis is a lot. She's laughing, so
I just don't want to do that, like let's do
just loving Brandy's watching. I'm sorry, how do you my moms?

Speaker 1 (30:51):
Sorry?

Speaker 11 (30:51):
Mom?

Speaker 8 (30:53):
Have you met his mom?

Speaker 5 (30:54):
To have you met J's mom?

Speaker 1 (30:57):
And she and you shouldn't. Ray, that's that's doing too much?

Speaker 4 (31:02):
Why is why?

Speaker 1 (31:02):
Why do you say that you can't come on.

Speaker 7 (31:05):
I mean it might feel a little soon.

Speaker 4 (31:06):
Well, I think I think they can meet on this
because she's one of the stars of Love Cabin. So
we're on an extreme Love Cabin promo tour.

Speaker 6 (31:14):
The business meeting, the passing like business.

Speaker 4 (31:17):
Yeah, like right now, we've got the opportunity to be
on one of the biggest shows in the hame wide
world to promote Love Cabin with Sheila and I and
and and this is a great moment for.

Speaker 2 (31:26):
As far as like, So, how did you feel, I'm sorry,
how did you feel when he was when he professed
his love and said he wants to get back with
his family when you were there and together.

Speaker 11 (31:38):
Oh honestly, I wasn't there at the time when he
said that on the stream. I was sleeping, But I
support him whatever he you know, I like that.

Speaker 4 (31:49):
That's because she spells her name s h I. I
want to love you.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
In the bed in the back when he was on
the stream that day, I went.

Speaker 7 (32:06):
To sleep because you know I was, I cried all night.

Speaker 6 (32:09):
I want right back with Princess too, because that's when
I saw rad is most stable when Ray was with Princess.

Speaker 3 (32:14):
That's that's the Princess has the Warner back as well.

Speaker 9 (32:16):
I was about to ask how does Princess Love feel
about Sheila?

Speaker 4 (32:19):
And I think Princess is in a place where she
has her nail shop. She's been super focused on work
and really just trying to build her business, and so
I haven't really got a chance to talk too much
about it, but I know that I'm there for the
kids and for her, uh financially and and and and

(32:40):
for love as well.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
Right right, that's what you want, right right back with
Princess very happy, Ray.

Speaker 3 (32:47):
Ray says she wants both of them to be happy.

Speaker 4 (32:49):
You talk to the nail shop alone, you and Princess.
Wow pla nail shop on prel beauty bar.

Speaker 1 (32:56):
Okay, she look, can we talked to Ray about some
president question? Please? All right, I'm not trying to tell
you the move.

Speaker 4 (33:03):
You said the back that yeah, so I think that's back.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
You go to the back to.

Speaker 5 (33:09):
Thank you don't remember.

Speaker 7 (33:15):
Remember anyone to shooes.

Speaker 4 (33:20):
We all got to advance.

Speaker 1 (33:23):
Telling me what not told me I wasn't ship.

Speaker 4 (33:27):
I wouldn't never do that like it was crazy. You
mean you want to time because early career you're going
to give you and you keep it low key and
you got that's mega moment.

Speaker 7 (33:44):
I am not.

Speaker 11 (33:44):
I'm not.

Speaker 1 (33:45):
I think you should.

Speaker 4 (33:45):
I love that you appreciate you.

Speaker 1 (33:47):
That's a nice bag and everything.

Speaker 4 (33:51):
Okay, but what I buy everything.

Speaker 1 (33:54):
Else you got to type.

Speaker 6 (33:55):
I just want you to know that I was watched
the Scripple Pole video Scripple ballper bowl.

Speaker 4 (33:59):
Yeah, I said everything else I got for it now,
but I got more to give.

Speaker 1 (34:04):
Let's talk about it.

Speaker 6 (34:05):
Part of part of turning the corner for rad I
love you. It's putting everything behind you with this Kardashian
sex tape. Now when you look, when you look back,
and the tapes and the public back and forth, the
legal threats. What do you feel people still misunderstand about
your side of the story.

Speaker 4 (34:23):
Oh yeah, well, I haven't talked to my lawyers enough
to know if legally I can go into into into
it all the way yet. But I just I have
a daughter, I have a son, and I love my
daughter so much. And I love my son and my
niece and and and just if I was to die today,
I think there's a lot of things that would be

(34:43):
misunderstood about my story and about just the overall life
that I lived. And I don't know if it's called
legacy or just your your just your biography, you know,
from life to death. And before it's done, I just
feel like there's a few things that I need to
make sure we have understood from an overall, an overall situation.

(35:06):
And again, this isn't me. This is something that's been
going on every year for twenty years to this year,
not on my side, on the other side. And so
I'm not bringing this back up twenty years later. I'm
not like sparking this back up to get some money.

(35:27):
It's not about that. It's just about the truth. And
it's not even about me wanting the truth now. This
is about the other side every year doing something to me.
And it's been happening every year of my life. I'm
talking about in twenty twenty five. It's a lot of
things that people don't know and it's happening now.

Speaker 2 (35:49):
But you know what the sad thing about it is,
I feel like we forget about that tape, right, and
we think about all.

Speaker 3 (35:56):
The other things that you do, the show Electron and
the thing. I don't think we talk about that as much.

Speaker 4 (36:02):
Nobody knows about the show, and nobody talks about the electronics.
Nobody talks about.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
Well, those things I think we should highlight because you
did amazing things in that space that we don't talk.

Speaker 4 (36:13):
About, but we all know. Like when you're dealing with
tech and when you're dealing with you know, partners, the
discreetness of success and money and and what you do
is is it's something that you got to keep disciplined. Right,
you have to discipline yourself not to expose these businesses
and the numbers. And because you can't gloat about it.

Speaker 3 (36:33):
You feel like that tape holds you back.

Speaker 2 (36:34):
Like we've seen Kim do a collab with Nike, We've
seen Kim do a collab with the NBA.

Speaker 3 (36:38):
Do you feel like it holds you back from doing thing?

Speaker 4 (36:40):
You feel like that?

Speaker 2 (36:43):
I don't know, you know, No, I don't know because
the reason I said I don't know is there's other
things to raise it than just that tape, like we'll see.

Speaker 4 (36:50):
And that's why I've been coloring. I've been coloring outside
the line that's building businesses that doesn't have anything to
do with public perception. If we run a business and
making eighty or ninety million a year, there's no reason
for me to say that with my partners in the
board wanting to keep a very solid, low key business
and to keep things discreet. So if we made five

(37:12):
hundred million dollars, we couldn't. We can't. We can't do that.
We can't talk about money because first off, it's not relatable.
Nobody can relate to numbers, knowing that the ebit of
numbers could be one percent, or it could be ten
percent or seventy percent. Right, so I can make one
hundred million, my ebit is one percent. That's I didn't
make anything. I made a hundred million. And so I

(37:34):
think just keeping that kind of side of the business
quiet is always showing good discipline in your partners if
you want to do business with people in that kind
of in that kind of space. And we all know that.
That's why when people say, oh, y'all making money, Charlotte, man,
you got all You're like, Man, I don't know what
you're talking about, but I think but exactly.

Speaker 9 (37:54):
But I think what it's just trying to say is
that people don't take a lot of not even that
we don't know your success, but people don't take certain
things serious. And there's been a we're trying to figure
out if you think it's because the way you've been
paying it following the sex state, because even if you're successful,
there is kind of this conversation about the big empire
she's been able to build, and then you on the

(38:16):
other side and the way that.

Speaker 5 (38:17):
People perceive you.

Speaker 4 (38:18):
Well, I talked to a big journalist that was one
of the biggest news shows of all time. I sent
him information just like I sent you. Just all you
guys can see what this is. You saw the impact
of what happened after, right, And I'm not going to
speak on that, but what he said was, up until
what you sent me, I thought you were a narcissist

(38:42):
ray J. I thought you were And he said, and
I'm gonna keep it real, a piece of shit. You
did this to a girl who was trying to just
live her life. She overcame you, she became successful, you
made a little bit of money. You embarrassed yourself, You
embarrassed her, your sister, you embarrassed your mom, you embarrassed
your family. That's how I thought about you up until

(39:04):
now what you show me. And that's mainstream America. But
it's more than that, though, because that's mainstream America, we
know you, so we know the different side. We're talking
about American Idol, we're talking about Dancing with the Stars,
We're talking about Marvel, We're talking about anything that happened
rolls and to an a list format of business that's

(39:26):
not there. So what do I do? We color outside
the lines and we become cessful, successful in other air.

Speaker 2 (39:32):
But it's more than that, Like when when when they
look at you, sometimes they see your highlights, right, we
know you from differently, right, But if you look at
raised highlights outside of that sex tape, they might see
you pushing your wife into the pool.

Speaker 3 (39:44):
They might see you drunk online.

Speaker 5 (39:45):
Saying Frances No, I didn't what happened, she tripped, she fell.

Speaker 2 (39:52):
But there's other things outside of that sex tape that
would make Ray look bad, not just that sex tape.

Speaker 3 (39:57):
Don't go you see I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (40:00):
That was not a good moment.

Speaker 3 (40:01):
It wasn't.

Speaker 4 (40:01):
And again, I've done over five thousand hours of reality
TV correct, and we've we've built successful businesses with Viacom,
we built successful businesses with Zeus Correct, and now we
have Zeus Power and Tronics, which is about to be
another level. Shout out to Lemmy and shout out to
the infrastructure that they have there with him being a scientist,

(40:24):
and things move forward. It still doesn't take away from
my daughter and my son knowing everything and everything is
being complete as far as who I really am in
my story, and I don't and I don't, I can't.
I'm I don't know if we went really deep with this,
and I'm in trouble because I know legally I can't
really speak until we figure this out. But it it does.

(40:49):
It does reflect on how I interact and how I
project myself to people, because once I'm once, I say
I'm and I'm on another level and I'm, you know,
a different person. I need everything to be complete with that,
because if that's not complete, then I'm gonna stay turned
up until everything is complete.

Speaker 6 (41:10):
I do want to say one thing with the sex tape,
and mainstream America should notice that sex tape could not
be sold and distributed without everybody's consent, bottom line, point blank.

Speaker 4 (41:21):
I don't think everybody knows.

Speaker 1 (41:22):
I don't think everybody knows.

Speaker 4 (41:23):
See that's the se and that's what I'm saying. When
I see y'all talk about it, y'all kindly go. I
think everybody knows that everybody knows something, everybody feels something.
Let it be known. Ask the questions, Ask the questions,
ask the question the real.

Speaker 1 (41:47):
Everybody. Everybody had to give their consent in order for
that tape.

Speaker 4 (41:50):
But the culture, let me ask the real question.

Speaker 5 (41:54):
Okay, let me ask you a couple of questions and
you just answer.

Speaker 4 (41:56):
Can I text you that question asked? Yes, Yeah, And
I'm gonna text Charlotte Mane.

Speaker 5 (42:01):
In the meantime right text It's good.

Speaker 4 (42:04):
It's good No, because this is the question to ask.
It is one question or two questions to ask. And
if the culture can get that clear, then we could
all be clear and I can move on with my
life and I can love my daughter and son, and
I be worried about them fighting for like my image
and who I really am, like that ship. It really

(42:25):
hurts me. That's the only thing that makes me cry.
It makes me like feel bad is that kids. I
don't want my kids to have to deal with what
I'm dealing with.

Speaker 5 (42:34):
You had a conversation.

Speaker 4 (42:36):
They're too young, but they're almost there. That's what scaring
me is that I told myself before they actually see
it and get it. I have to do my job.
If not, I can't. I can't live here.

Speaker 3 (42:49):
Can you pull it off the sites? Is it possible?

Speaker 4 (42:51):
It's not about pulling, it's not about pulling all the sites.
My phone is give me one of your phones. I'm
gonna just show him in the text.

Speaker 3 (42:59):
I'm just show what I'm mm hmmm.

Speaker 6 (43:01):
Do you think the public narrative would have been different
for you, Ray, if you had the same level of
pr machinery that the Kardashian's gout.

Speaker 4 (43:12):
Man, It hurts to talk about it, bro, I don't
want to get emotional because I just want to do.
I want to be a good person. If and when
I say I want to be a good person, I'm
already a good person.

Speaker 1 (43:25):
It's just.

Speaker 4 (43:27):
Or if he wasn't black exactly, but you see you
don't go down hard for me.

Speaker 6 (43:34):
But if you wasn't black, Ray, because you got a
lot of props for your penis in that video.

Speaker 1 (43:40):
If you weren't black, you wouldn't have got there.

Speaker 9 (43:41):
I thought we said we weren't doing that word with
I'm sorry, So ray J, can you talk about what's
in the actual doc? Because people were surprised too that
there were two tapes that y'all shot.

Speaker 4 (43:52):
Okay, hold one.

Speaker 5 (43:54):
Man, try to talk to the mic.

Speaker 3 (43:57):
You doing something? I hold it, my pause.

Speaker 1 (44:01):
That's how the tape started. That's exactly what Chris said, Chris,
you hold they.

Speaker 3 (44:12):
Send it to Lauren. You don't ask that. Maybe you can't, Lauren,
you don't ask that.

Speaker 4 (44:17):
You are good.

Speaker 3 (44:18):
I don't know what it's gonna be a see as
I know he can't ask it.

Speaker 7 (44:22):
Now.

Speaker 4 (44:22):
Now now for the now for the culture journalistic, Now
for the culture demand those two questions being asked as
the culture and then I can sit back and I
can just chill and I and and there's no more.
They're They're like, now, okay, so let's let's start. So
now listen, Steve, like Lauren is asking the questions, not me.

(44:44):
Shout out to my lawyers, this Mike out the ways.

Speaker 1 (44:50):
Steve us the president. Yes, right, And I'm gonna tell
you how I know. I used to work with WIMS.
That's how I know these things.

Speaker 9 (44:56):
So Vivid is the porn company at the tape came
out on Steve Hirst is or was the president of
evid correct who introduced you to Steve Hirsch.

Speaker 4 (45:06):
That's the question I want you to ask the other
side that's not the question for me. That's the question
that no, no, no, this is serious on the dead
owners the other side up here. No, no, no, it's
not about the other side.

Speaker 1 (45:20):
Okay, because you know, we had this conversation what.

Speaker 4 (45:22):
If they're dead, so they're fine, Okay, Okay, what's the
second question? So who is No, I'm saying you have
to you have to demand that as a culture from
the other side, Can I ask what I'm talking about.
Nobody's doing that. They're just you're just letting it. We're
just we're just letting it fly by.

Speaker 9 (45:42):
When you were having conversations with Steve Hirsch, who from
the other side was also in the conversation.

Speaker 4 (45:47):
Who introduced me to him.

Speaker 3 (45:51):
It's a question the mom.

Speaker 5 (45:56):
Okay, So second question.

Speaker 1 (45:57):
Race them is like stop and he not?

Speaker 3 (46:00):
He not answered.

Speaker 1 (46:06):
There's too much. If it's too much, we don't want
to get in no legal trouble. Okay.

Speaker 4 (46:10):
Here's what's crazy. Spiral or Spirole or whatever that nigga's
name is. He gonna hit y'all with the ship too.
Right after this, y'all gonna get hit and everybody got hit.
And that's where you go red flags, that's where it
should be red flags and every every aspect.

Speaker 1 (46:29):
But is he talking to the MICR.

Speaker 3 (46:31):
What's the other question?

Speaker 5 (46:32):
So the second question is who is the person that
put the sex tape together?

Speaker 3 (46:38):
He's not gonna answer, He's gonna.

Speaker 7 (46:40):
For me.

Speaker 5 (46:41):
These are not for me.

Speaker 4 (46:43):
These are for you to demand it from the other side,
as my friend DJ Envy. Yes, sir, you said you
have my back. Find these questions out, Lauren. You're a
fucking big journalist. You come from t m Z and
every other place that's at the top of the spot.
The man that question be answered, Charlemagne, I want you

(47:05):
to too. I don't know how to say it like
I said it about them, but you are the one
that could be like we demanded as a culture because
at the end of the day, this could be some
civil rights shit like if you really think about it,
But y'all not thinking about it like that, and nobody
really is because money talks and bullshit runs the marathon

(47:26):
and nobody wants to fuck up the check y'all. Don't
y'all already got y'all bag. But when you getting lawsuit
after lawsuit and cease and desist, y'all they pressing what
why is it worth it. You gotta fall back as
a unit, as an iHeart board, like I might even
call Paul and tell him I'm dying out here. Paul,

(47:50):
don't do that. I love.

Speaker 3 (47:57):
Real quick.

Speaker 9 (47:58):
Did you see the statement that Spirou dropped the film producer. No,
it's that that's what came up for me.

Speaker 4 (48:06):
Paul's the big dog that I hurt.

Speaker 5 (48:08):
The film producer came.

Speaker 3 (48:09):
Up for me.

Speaker 1 (48:11):
Bob, No, don't say that.

Speaker 9 (48:14):
Oh no, on, you guys are playing so Paul, according
to LinkedIn I heard media, he's a division president.

Speaker 5 (48:21):
What division y'all don't know in l A because he's
listed in l A.

Speaker 8 (48:25):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (48:27):
I just got LA so I wouldn't know.

Speaker 4 (48:30):
He's Bob's number two.

Speaker 1 (48:32):
Okay, Oh so listen. Wait, you said before that you
were painted as the villain.

Speaker 6 (48:39):
How does a black man fight a machine this big
when you're dealing with the legal team, reality show, Empire,
the global brand of the Cartashians.

Speaker 1 (48:45):
How do you fight that and protect your reputation at
the same time?

Speaker 4 (48:53):
Support?

Speaker 3 (48:55):
Mm hmm, city, can't are you listening to the support?

Speaker 1 (48:58):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (48:59):
Support, Ask the questions, demand the answers, and if they
don't come back, it's a red flag if they do
come back, whether it's under oath or not, and it's wrong.
That's when you guys do your job right. But I
guess all of this is under the table because we
don't matter. Obviously. This is some kind of like the

(49:22):
joke and some kind of twenty five years span. I
don't give a fuck. This is not me. If I
could talk more, I'm not doing this. This is not me.
This is what I'm going through right now legally with
them that's making it public. And now I'm getting suits
saying I'm doing this and doing that outside of arbitration,

(49:47):
outside of everything else that's supposed to be. I can't
say anything else.

Speaker 3 (49:51):
Do you say, NDA where you can't talk because no.

Speaker 4 (49:53):
No, I just don't know if this is okay right
now because it just happens. So I have to call
my lawyers.

Speaker 9 (49:59):
But this I don't mean that y'all did there weren't
things on both sides were like you also can't do
and say things because the stream is what kicked it off.

Speaker 4 (50:06):
The stream.

Speaker 5 (50:07):
Well, the stream took it to a different and it
brought it to these documents.

Speaker 4 (50:10):
That I was already there. It was just an arbitration oh, so,
y'all had already been It was already at a high
level where I felt like I was a slave and
I was I was a nigger.

Speaker 1 (50:27):
Your niece is too funny when you hit that hard.
It was, but but.

Speaker 4 (50:45):
Charlemagne, that's not that's not okay because it was. It
was emotional, but now we watered it down and instead
of it being so powerful.

Speaker 2 (51:04):
At this point rate, I feel like, if there's no NDA,
you should do a documentary and be able to tell
your own story because they can't sue you.

Speaker 4 (51:10):
If it's facts, they can't sue we period. These is
in facts, these this is life. This is me like
telling you that it is white and you're saying it's black,
and they're like, well it's black or than white right now,
just because we don't want to get in trouble, we
getting season deceases because we see the pipe, the paper

(51:31):
is white, but they're saying it's black, but a ceasing
desist and I don't want to fuck with their lawyers.
That's what's happening. When are you guys gonna come in
and ask the questions for me? And if you can't,
I understand that I've had companies I've been pressed by
my board. I've created companies and had the board not

(51:52):
want me there right off companies we created. I get it,
and I'm not gonna like like this is.

Speaker 6 (51:59):
A good conversation and you start, I'm gonna tell you,
do you think the industry owes you an apology for
letting one family's version of events dominate the news cycle
fall of you.

Speaker 4 (52:07):
Once it's all said and done and they got the truth, Like,
if they get the truth, then I think that they'll
they'll they'll actually shed a till for me and they'll
feel sorry for me.

Speaker 5 (52:15):
What happens when we ask these questions and we don't
get responses and you can't so you.

Speaker 4 (52:20):
Know, listen, you know, as a journalist, you can rewind
the tapes on joke Joe, Joe Cordon or whatever they've
already said what they didn't do, ask them again, ask
them again, and tell them to stand on it, stand
on it for the culture one time. Answer these two questions.

(52:41):
They owe it to the world, They owe it to
their fans, They owe it to their family, They owe
it to their kids. They owe it to my kids.
They owe it to my sister, They owe it to
my mom. Answer those two questions.

Speaker 3 (52:55):
See what the last thing with the chat.

Speaker 4 (52:57):
And I guarantee you you guys won't do it because
once you start, that car is going to happen, and
that car is going to shut it down with the chat.
And that's what hurts me too. I'm just saying now
I'll tell you what my chat is doing too.

Speaker 3 (53:13):
Now they say, you guys agreed to do a tape.
You both got paid, and now you're changing your mind.

Speaker 4 (53:18):
That's what That's what they is and that and that's
what's sad because there's so much more to the story.
I'm not changing anything. Man, I'm the one being sued.
I'm the one being pressed. If I could tell you everything,
which I want to, I would, but I need to
talk to my lawyers. All I want to do is
say everything I talked to Chris Cuomo, and I want

(53:40):
to I want to do it one on one because
he's been he understands it. I don't know if I
can or not, but if I can, I'm going to
do it after this or with Charlottemagne and DJ Envy
and Lawren just hilarious. Justice is too hilarious for this.

Speaker 3 (53:54):
Let's move on because you can't discuss to get you
in trouble.

Speaker 4 (53:58):
We'm in trouble already, bro, Like this is bad.

Speaker 6 (54:01):
If you look at how the Kardashian's handle media versus
how you've handled media, what's the biggest lesson you've learned
about controlling your own ad.

Speaker 4 (54:08):
I don't give a fuck. That's controlling the narrative how
I am now. It exudes what anybody can do. And
it seems like it's a crash out, but it's a
voice where I'm speaking. My voice in every day is
getting heard, and that's it. Whether it's a crash out

(54:29):
or not. You look at all these other dudes that's
been involved in that other situation. They're done, they're going
through it. They don't work, they're mentally messed up. Whether
you got a two billion dollar budget or you got
a two hundred thousand, everybody's done. They're going crazy, suicidal.

(54:52):
I've been that way all because y'all ain't listen. All
because y'all didn't listen, and y'all ain't help me.

Speaker 3 (55:02):
That's why we don't know that you need help until
you tell us.

Speaker 4 (55:06):
Like I'm just saying, I've cried out. I've cried to you,
I've cried to you, dj Vu won't give me a number. No.
I found you on Instagram, I think, and you said,
calls Charlemagne. I ain't in it. I said, dang right,

(55:28):
where do you go from there? When the culture won't
help you, when nobody wants to ask the question. And again,
everybody has a family. We can't jeopardize our food on
our plate for our family. But my plate, whether it's
a big plate, it's supposed to be way bigger. Because

(55:51):
if I'm able to sustain this and survive this and
drop companies and sell companies and come back and crash
out and survive that too and still be in here
like I don't give it, then I should be Where
should I really be? Where should I really be?

Speaker 6 (56:11):
The coaches said, you did this to yourself because you
have a type, and doctor Might doesn't approve of your type.

Speaker 4 (56:15):
Doctor Umar is like, see that. Me and doctor Umar
had an argument. He know that he likes Suki, yes,
but Suki's with me, okay, okay, So he can't like Suki.
So he tried to press me, and I said, doctor Umar,
don't do that because you're big, but you're not big.
You're not that big. I'll take you one.

Speaker 5 (56:36):
You're still with Suki.

Speaker 4 (56:38):
I'm always with Suki.

Speaker 6 (56:43):
Don't cry, Sheila, Sheila, do not cry, Sheila, Sheila, don't cry, Sheila, Sheila.

Speaker 1 (56:52):
Don't cry. Don't cry, Sheila.

Speaker 4 (56:55):
Okay, And I told Suki boyfriend that two days ago.

Speaker 5 (57:00):
Oh so this is like recently.

Speaker 4 (57:01):
Still I told Suki boyfriend two days ago, stand down,
don't you ever put your hands on Suki? And we good.
Other than that, y'all live, y'all life.

Speaker 9 (57:08):
And you still paying out like monthly hitting her off
with the what was it seventy five K or something
that ain't nothing?

Speaker 4 (57:14):
Okay, I need you all to help me, but past
the other thing. All right, so let's go to another subject.
All right, We're done with it. You guys depressed me.
I'm sorry, and y'all hit me in the heart. I'm
sorry because all I think about is my daughter and
my son. I get it and what they got to
go through in life. Man, think about it?

Speaker 6 (57:33):
No, yeah, being a father, how does that shift your
how does that shift think about the public narrative around
you and also your.

Speaker 4 (57:38):
Past suicidal here it's unconventional, like because I love my
daughter so much, how would she ever think of me
like that, like it kills me. I'm talking about some
of the shit I be doing online, I just be like,
I'll be just crashing out because it ain't nowhere else
to go. And so it's just my daughter and my son.

(58:02):
I think can handle it. I just want my daughter
to be okay, man, and her to know that that's
whatever you're hearing. Because y'all the same age as them
as y'all grow up, so eventually y'all gonna have this bat.
I rather the true for a dollar than a billion
dollars for a fucking lie. Bro, keep your money, they

(58:25):
owe me money, keep that. Just tell the truth for
one buck and I can start over. And if people
don't care, it doesn't matter about what people don't care.
We're all living right now. It's about when we die, bro,
everybody living is like, why they doing this? I don't
give a fuck about none of that. All I care

(58:45):
about is my daughter and my son, And when I
think about that, I'm gonna crash crazy.

Speaker 2 (58:53):
Are you talking to somebody besides doctor shy and Bright?
Are you talking to a therapist on a regular basis?
Because I'm talking to Ray is good.

Speaker 4 (59:00):
I don't know, man, I just I'm not playing, bro.
It hurts me every day. I don't care how much
money I made, how much money I got. I got
a daughter and I love her, and I got a
son and I love him, and I just don't want
to disappoint them, bro, And you do doing. Life will
be better with you here with them and not not
here that Bro, if I'd rather die for the truth,

(59:22):
if I got to die for them to know the truth,
and I'd rather be exited out so they can live.
Look at life? That what that?

Speaker 3 (59:29):
That's on the dad? Want to walk your daughter down?
I'm keeping it real, bro, to take your son to
his games like you want to be going to do that?

Speaker 4 (59:35):
And I do. But what you do to help me?
To help me?

Speaker 3 (59:38):
Call you every day when you start talking like this.

Speaker 4 (59:40):
Do call me ask the questions.

Speaker 3 (59:43):
Don't call me serious, don't call me ask the question.
I am going to call you.

Speaker 4 (59:47):
Ask the questions.

Speaker 3 (59:49):
Don't call me ask the questions the man.

Speaker 4 (59:51):
The questions, the man, answer the man. The answers, DJ
and VY demand them.

Speaker 2 (59:56):
Even if you don't get the answers, we still want
you here regardless. Just so political wells asked the questions.

Speaker 4 (01:00:03):
But I's gonna be political and I'm gonna hit the
strip club and I'm gonna be political.

Speaker 1 (01:00:10):
See, we want you here.

Speaker 6 (01:00:12):
Man. You don't want nobody swearing on you because you
know what I'm saying. Would you want somebody swearing on.

Speaker 4 (01:00:18):
You asked the question? Charlemagne got you.

Speaker 1 (01:00:20):
That's easy, that's easy.

Speaker 5 (01:00:23):
I just okay, let's get something more uplifting, positive and
ra life.

Speaker 4 (01:00:26):
So you talked to me, I don't know how to
go anywhere past this, Joe, Well you got you said
you need.

Speaker 3 (01:00:35):
Man, I can't.

Speaker 1 (01:00:37):
Man, come on, you know.

Speaker 6 (01:00:47):
If you even want to hug Ra since he started
talking about that sex tape, if you start thinking about
that sex tapf you want to put a hands on
he want to hug Rag up?

Speaker 3 (01:00:54):
Man, I'm just gonna help my brother. Got to love here, man,
We love him.

Speaker 6 (01:00:58):
Jokes is jokes.

Speaker 1 (01:00:59):
We're gonna have to questions.

Speaker 3 (01:01:00):
Ask the questions. Ray, all right, well, so ask the questions.
Ray serious though, Yeah, you're serious. Ask the questions. Ask
the question to the public. Game.

Speaker 5 (01:01:13):
No, not to the public too.

Speaker 4 (01:01:14):
It's to because nothing's bigger than the program.

Speaker 3 (01:01:19):
So we have to figure out if how is that gonna.

Speaker 1 (01:01:21):
Work for the program.

Speaker 3 (01:01:22):
We all have boards, we all.

Speaker 4 (01:01:24):
Have people that's gonna figure it out.

Speaker 1 (01:01:26):
We're all bosses, but we have boards.

Speaker 4 (01:01:29):
So we're not saying nobody is the boss of nobody,
but the board is bigger than the boss.

Speaker 1 (01:01:33):
You're just saying that you want the question asked.

Speaker 4 (01:01:35):
I'm not gonna ask.

Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
We're gonna ask the questions. The question because I know
what the end goal is.

Speaker 6 (01:01:39):
The end goal question not.

Speaker 4 (01:01:40):
You don't have to answer here, ask it somewhere else.
Demanded create the create the like the protest, but.

Speaker 6 (01:01:48):
Ray, I think something bigger than even asking the question.
What you want is simply for them to say we
were all in this together.

Speaker 4 (01:01:55):
No. I wanted to just be very simple.

Speaker 1 (01:01:58):
I wasn't the one that was orchestrated.

Speaker 4 (01:02:01):
I was just a fucking tool bro. I didn't do nothing.
I never had none of that. I never had none
of the six stakes in my hand ever in fucking life.
They've never been in my hand.

Speaker 1 (01:02:14):
Never a tool.

Speaker 3 (01:02:16):
Stop it, man, you can take anything serious.

Speaker 6 (01:02:18):
Man.

Speaker 1 (01:02:18):
He just said that he's a to you with a tool. Respect.
I get what he's saying. Nothing the chat going crazy.

Speaker 5 (01:02:31):
The chat was like different conversations.

Speaker 4 (01:02:34):
Why I don't want me to do no more.

Speaker 6 (01:02:36):
Listen to your niece.

Speaker 1 (01:02:37):
Okay, can we.

Speaker 4 (01:02:38):

Speaker 3 (01:03:14):
Welcome to breakfast club.

Speaker 6 (01:03:16):
Ra. I'm really glad you heard, because Ray needs this
kind of real family around him.

Speaker 3 (01:03:27):
You know, never how you feeling?

Speaker 1 (01:03:29):
The only other time I'm gonna.

Speaker 8 (01:03:32):
Some real, real view questions when I see Ray with his.

Speaker 1 (01:03:34):
Family, When I see with people like Billy, that's when
I'm like, Okay, Ray is in good hands. Shout out
to Billy, people that actually care about it.

Speaker 4 (01:03:42):
You know, I get emotional when I'm up here with
my niece. I can't do it.

Speaker 6 (01:03:46):
Yeah, he's the greatest uncle on earth and the greatest
what do you think people misunderstand about him.

Speaker 4 (01:03:53):
Don't answer that. Just let's talk about but just talk about. No,
don't bother her like that. No, let's have her talk
about Let's have her talk about her music and ship. Bro,
don't have her talk about this ship, please, Bro, I
can't have her. I don't care what's going on with
your music? How's your music going?

Speaker 1 (01:04:13):
Uncle?

Speaker 4 (01:04:13):
Don't matter.

Speaker 1 (01:04:14):
I think you need to hear that.

Speaker 4 (01:04:15):
I don't care that you think. I love my little
I love my little niece. Let's not bring her in
it this, all right, Let's just talk about her music
and stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:04:24):
Bro, He's amazing. Just not do it.

Speaker 8 (01:04:26):
Broad homies, bro and the greatest father.

Speaker 4 (01:04:30):
Just let's not do this.

Speaker 1 (01:04:31):
Love it.

Speaker 4 (01:04:32):
I love it.

Speaker 6 (01:04:32):
Do you feel pressure being Brandy's daughter and pursuing a
singing career?

Speaker 8 (01:04:37):
Oh yeah, absolutely, that's big.

Speaker 5 (01:04:39):
That's some big shoes what you're saying, though.

Speaker 13 (01:04:44):
No, y'all know, it's a lot, and it's a lot
coming from my uncle to you know. I think I
get my little personality from him too. I'm real hyper,
really energetic like him, and you know, singing mom mommy's
like that too, though the whole family. Yes, yeah, it's
a lot.

Speaker 8 (01:05:01):
It's a lot.

Speaker 11 (01:05:02):
I love you.

Speaker 1 (01:05:03):
Did they want you to pursue his career when you
first told him like I sing?

Speaker 13 (01:05:08):
At first, my grandma didn't as much until she heard
my voice. She really want me to be an attorney,
like a lawyer, because I'm really good at arguing. But no,
I went to school for business. I got my degree
and everything, so it's it's you know, I'm trying to
do both. I want my masters.

Speaker 8 (01:05:26):
So I'm taking a year off though, and then I
might go back next year.

Speaker 13 (01:05:31):
But you know, I have my my degree and in
the studio, and you know the new movies coming out,
so I'm really excited.

Speaker 5 (01:05:38):
It called Christmas Every every Day.

Speaker 8 (01:05:39):
Yes, and me and my mom plays Sisters, which which
is kind of weird.

Speaker 4 (01:05:44):
Acting debut.

Speaker 13 (01:05:44):
Yeah, it's my first movie ever. I didn't know I
would like acting like that, so it was it was
great to get that opportunity.

Speaker 8 (01:05:50):
Wow, it's fire and then so on.

Speaker 9 (01:05:53):
So acting debut, and then you guys are talking about
doing a joint project musically, you.

Speaker 1 (01:05:57):
And bringing right Yeah wow, so precious, Well go ahead.

Speaker 13 (01:06:04):
Oh well, obviously she's very involved in like what I
do musically, She's vocal produced along with Troy Taylor. He
he didn't, Mom, did they vocal produced me for this
whole upcoming project that I'm putting out.

Speaker 8 (01:06:16):
But yeah, they pushed me a lot, both of them.
And it's really crazy.

Speaker 13 (01:06:22):
You know, people would pay a lot of money to
have her in the studio, like get out, you know,
leave me alone.

Speaker 8 (01:06:28):
But you know, I'm so grateful. There's a lot of pressure.

Speaker 3 (01:06:31):
It's a lot.

Speaker 8 (01:06:31):
She pushes me a lot.

Speaker 1 (01:06:33):
So what does success look like for you?

Speaker 13 (01:06:35):
I think I'm already successful to be in this family.
I can be a Nepple Babies of the day I die, okay,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 7 (01:06:42):
I love it.

Speaker 13 (01:06:43):
I love watching you know, you know, Mom and uncle
ray Jea, and even my grandma just working and and
my and my granddad, you know, working.

Speaker 8 (01:06:51):
It's like, yeah, I'm just here just sitting pretty. I
can do it all day. But you know, I love
to work. I really love to work. That's why I
got my degree, I went to college all it. I
love working. And with all this stuff coming up, I'm excited.

Speaker 13 (01:07:03):
But you know, I think just being around everybody and
just you know, feeling everything, I just feel like I'm
already successful. I have beautiful friends, beautiful family, you know,
beautiful cousins.

Speaker 8 (01:07:16):
So you know, I'm good.

Speaker 7 (01:07:20):
That is great.

Speaker 6 (01:07:21):
All you gotta do is create the type of art
you want to make. You can make the kind of
moves you want to make, Like there's no yeah, And.

Speaker 8 (01:07:27):
I'm so blessed because a lot of people don't have
that open door. You know, it's really hard to put
your foot in, and I had it. So I'm so like,
I'm so grateful.

Speaker 13 (01:07:36):
I'm so blessed, and I never want people to think
that I'm like taking advantage of it. That's why, like
when you hear music or even the movie, Like I
was in acting lessons for a month straight. I wasn't
you know, I did vocal lessons. I know how to
play piano, you like, like I was in dance, Like
I've I've been in dance competitions.

Speaker 8 (01:07:53):
You get what I'm saying.

Speaker 13 (01:07:53):
Like, I just know that my foot was already in
the door, so like I just wanted to work ten
times harder because it's like it's already there. Okay, So
you go to college, well, get straight a's, and then
you're in the highest honors, you know what I mean.
So it's like something in me is like I had it,
but don't let people think you know, like you know
you already got it.

Speaker 8 (01:08:11):
I didn't know. I work a little harder, just a
little bit.

Speaker 3 (01:08:13):
But look a look at the proud love it.

Speaker 5 (01:08:18):
What's it like being on tour with your mom and exhausted?

Speaker 8 (01:08:23):
You know, It's so fun. It's fun. It's great to
see her. And she deserves it. She really really deserves us.

Speaker 6 (01:08:30):
And the thing I think is ill about you is
like I can see both versions, right. I can see
like Brandy is very polished, very media trained, and you
got your uncle who's very outspoken, says what the hell
he wants? I can see both you you know how
to control it. I can see it like you're not
going to ever get to this unless.

Speaker 8 (01:08:52):
You might, okay, somebody very much. So my mom becus.

Speaker 3 (01:08:59):
I got to come on.

Speaker 13 (01:09:00):
Now, Mom's very real, you know she is. She's quote
unquote media train. Okay, but no, she's just her. And like,
so it's my uncle. I just I just feel like
we just don't put up a facade, like we're very real,
you know what I mean. So my uncle feels a
certain way, Brandy feels a certain way. If I feel
a certain way, even sonya, so he'll be you know, talking,

(01:09:22):
you know what she wants to talk about, you know
what I mean. So it's like we're just real and
I don't think in this family, I don't think we're
media training.

Speaker 8 (01:09:31):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (01:09:32):
Not get the reality show we do.

Speaker 9 (01:09:35):
We did have a reality the Whole Family. Yeah, yeah,
it was a while ago. It was like, yeah, two thousand.

Speaker 1 (01:09:40):
I don't remember the Whole Family.

Speaker 8 (01:09:43):
I was like nine, I was. I wasn't in it,
but no day.

Speaker 9 (01:09:48):
Yeah they had two seasons, right, yeah, it was a
Brandy and rey Ja family business.

Speaker 7 (01:09:53):
Right.

Speaker 1 (01:09:53):
Oh yeah, got you got you, got you got you
got you.

Speaker 3 (01:09:57):
Thank you for joining us.

Speaker 6 (01:09:58):
Yeah, man, But listen, by the way, when you see
people like ray niece, you understand his plight so so
so take that then factor in his kids and you'll
understand the fight he's he's waging right now.

Speaker 8 (01:10:13):
He just takes care of everything everybody. There is a lot.

Speaker 5 (01:10:19):
A lot of takes care of a.

Speaker 8 (01:10:20):
Lot a lot of people.

Speaker 3 (01:10:22):
Thank you for a hold down of course.

Speaker 8 (01:10:25):
My favorite person, ray J.

Speaker 3 (01:10:28):
We love you brother, all right, it's there, We see
you back there too. The breakfast club front desk

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
