Speaker 1 (00:03):
So your frind. Yeah, the world want to sell the camera? Agree?
Is this listen city? So the captain on the only
one who can keep these guys in. Charlomagne the gard

(00:29):
I was taking on. That was Drake one Dance Morning.
Everybody is DJ M v Angela, Ye, Charlomagne the guy.
We are the breakfast club. We got a special guest
in the building. O G. Sinbad his ass out. Man
belated to man, Oh, thank you, thank you man. How
does it feel? You know what I think age is
the blessings? I can't you know? You know what I
think you get your certain age. You don't care. You know,

(00:51):
when you're fifteen, you can't be sixteen. When you're twelve,
you can wait be thirteen. When you twenty, can't we
be twenty one? And right about thirty like this, I
don't care. Yeah, thirty First, your life been working with
your thoughts, gonna work out because you're's gonna be a
man and everybody's gonna beat this. So if you ain't
got that, you go, you go through depression, pressing. Oh man,
they still hope for you, thirties to New twenty and
then at forty you like this, man, I'm hurting and

(01:12):
I got high blood pressure. Yeah, and then sixty like this,
I understand people like, hey, man, still above ground, you
start talking different. I'm here, man, you know what, it's
a whole blessing every day above ground. And I said,
I'm never gonna talk like that. I'm not gonna be
that dude that every day above grounds a blessing because
homeless people ain't feeling that way. That's real, you know,
they ain't feeling that way. So like, every day above
ground is not a blessing. It's a blessing to be alive.

(01:34):
But I'd rather be doing something with it that's real.
And when you think twenties old, then when you're twenty,
you like old dirty, like all right, no, twenty, think
remember twenty, like, man, he's an old dude. And then
you get thirty and said, we just want to live
long enough to see your life jack up. So we
just want to be that person watching a young person
become thirty like this, you kind of suck, don't you go?

(01:54):
Because you can do everything. Yeah, yeah by liquor. Yea good,
you're good. I'm sure you have a lot of things
to say about the election. You know what this this
is this is so funny. Not funny. Everybody's actually they
can't believe this. We can't believe she lost when they
put that man on TV. When seeing him, put him
on and said it's about to be done, because think
he had none to lose. He's teflone. This is the man.

(02:16):
His wife pose naked. He lies, and he called other
people liar. He's an adults, but he called someone else adults.
I said, I'm watching the man. They can hit you.
You can't hit back because you can't insult him enough.
There's nothing you can say because he's like, ye did it.
He don't care. He didn't want to be president. He
just wanted he likes winning. He didn't know what being
the president is. So that's why I get all these
foods around him. They're like they're like the roaches rolling in.

(02:37):
Everybody think he's just They actually think they're gonna roll
back the masturbation proclamation. He got you gotta He got
white people pushing girls off the side of And I
had a friend of mine a white guy walked out
husand Phil to be picking cotton again. He was a valuation.
He showed him his guns. Now you're on a terrorist
wash list Wotton again. It's they actually believed they're going
back to the world. Like I said, MATTHI picture problemation, yeah,

(03:01):
I said, and even see the mayor of West Virginia
having to resign. I like when they talk stupid lose
their jobs. Yeah, and when they posted dumb things on Facebook,
he said, we got a new classy. This woman got
buck naked pictures, so we got a new classes Actually,
that's so far out racist, that's so far out and
all he has to do all Trump has to do. Look, man,

(03:24):
he could actually scare Republicans if his game is different
what they think it is. He's not anything they think
he is. He's probably sitting room right now and we
weren't suposed to win this. He looking at his family,
his wife. I don't want to be here. They don't
want to be there. He don't even want to be
in the way House. He don't want to be there.
Didn't even show up to the Pentagon for like the
initiation training, like when they do the transition training with
his transition team did and they got to school you

(03:45):
on nuclear weapons. They don't want an't even show up
that you work with Trump? How was it when you
did you know what I'm working back in the eighties,
back when when all the fights Mike Tyson fighting at
Trump's could singe him back in Atlanta City. He's always
you know, Trump always been bagadoshoes. He always been Trump water,
Trump Building, Trump you know towers. But wasn't a bigot though,
no brothers was living at Trump Towers. He's just sit

(04:05):
with cats and talk to cats. Something like this. He
gave money Hillary, he defended Bill Clinton. Who is this dude?
And that's what none to be published and asking well
smart ones are? That's why they put Mike Pence in.
They ain't were about Trump, and they said we got
the guy with one end, and that's Pence. He believes
in conversion therapy. Yes, if you're gay, we can convert you.
We seem to a camp in Indiana. And if you're black,

(04:27):
we can make you white. They got all kind of conversions.
They got conversion camp for everything they don't like. Will
convert you with your Muslim, will make you a question
if your woman, will make you a man. So you know,
they got conversion camp for everything you had back started
earlier as my tour right, No, that was that the
old picture every sickly and you know that was a
year ago. Yeah, you walking out said you're walking pretty
good with somebody who had BackStar. Now I had November

(04:49):
third last year. Somebody showed it is somebody put the
picture off, said some bad get well, and there's some
man you hang in there. I'm sending prayers to you.
Now'mb healed already. I can't believe on heeled I said
that was a year ago death. It could have been
worth it could have been you dead. I did die, remember,
I remember I got killed everything I've been killed, man,

(05:11):
But yeah, they got me up. They didn't give me
a good death. I had a heart attack. If you're
gonna kill me on Wikipedia, you get me a good death,
like sit back. Got snatched off the streets and we
know I was skinned and I die, don't give me
had a heart attack. Yeah, Now, did you ask Dave Chappelle,
what did you think Chappelle was? Chappelle is a different
Chappelle is like not any other brother out there doing comedy.

(05:33):
Chappelle over for me. We was seventeen two years old.
Actually took him on the roadway when we first got
started out of the DC. He was in them just
in the political and and funny and political and fancy.
Now everybody's become every commic has become too political. We
still are comics. You can't walk on stage, man, Trump,
you all y'all stupid. No, they're not all stupid. Some
were just frustrated. But what I did. We were just
in Kansas City. I said, Okay, my Trump people ever

(05:56):
started girls on heart convinced me. I said, first of all,
all the racist raise your hand, and a racist due
raising hands, and don't ever raise your hand with somebody
says that, yeah, don't do that. Now ever raise your hand.
You gotta respect him a little bit. My hands half
because I'm half racist. Got you know what, because I
could I cover enough racism in me, So if this
jumps off, I need it back. I'm trying to be
that peaceful warrior, but I need my hate back. I

(06:18):
got knocking. I'm letting them know. I said I got it.
I got enough raising them. It's in my bag. I
kept my racism in the bag, so if I need
to pull it out and go back in the close
and get it. You know, it was at a cancer
It's a fund raising of a cancer. So you gotta
pick what time you say, a few of these people.
So these were people come to see you know and

(06:38):
why I love wonder, But I said, you can't. Is
that the cancer fundraising. I'll save it for my show
because that's your audience. Now, if you come to my show,
and this is my audience, I don't say anything. I
want you pay. You know who I am. You said
a lot of comics talk about politics. I don't see it, man.
Like we had Tracy Morgan and uh Kevin Hard up
here and they said they stay away from well when
you're making money. See when the comic crossed. I caught

(06:59):
the crossover, you know when you know when you're angry
black and also something like this. Look, man, the world's
a lot better than I thought it was. I said, Oh,
somebody get making money now. Everybody like everybody like man,
you know, man, the man fight the power. Look, man,
we all gotta get long. Let me chase. I've never
experienced racist. I've never really experienced many. For my own people.
We got more with Sindbad when we come back. Keep

(07:21):
it locked as the breakfast club, Good Morning, The breakfast
Club that was Beyonce with Sorry Morning, Everybody's DJ Envy
Angela yee. Charlemagne, the guy. We all the breakfast club.
We have comedians, sindbad in the building. Now, Charlemagne, what
do you think of Barack Obama's legacy? Man? When they write,

(07:42):
you know, they always write a book three four years
later because remember if I said he didn't do nothing,
the worst president, when they look at all that he
did do, when that book comes out, whereas you know, Unfiltered,
and you go, wow, I can't wait. He's gonna do
the Activist because I'm involved with that program. Whenever he
gets out every program he's involved, I'm in there. He
did doing to my brothers keeping nothing. I'm in I'm
in there. That's what I did. We're gonna see but
Rock really oh yeah, black Oh, he's like this. He

(08:04):
smoking cigarettes again like muffies patches. He's feeling good about myself.
He looks more relaxed now like you want this, you
want the football? Yeah, you want to carry the briefcase.
Trump was like little kids in his hands folded. They're
supposed to talk for ten minutes talk had Roxy. Man,
they're about to give you the colds. That's why they
didn't go to that meeting. Roxy. That was any when
they give you all the secrets, all the CEEY agents again.

(08:26):
You're like that, Yeah, area fifty one, they can show
you an again. They got one inside the White House
and nowhere. That's the fact with big guys, that's the
three fingers. I saw it, Hillary say, that's the fact.
Hillary said when she got to the White House, he
was gonna let people know the truth about UF. Even
Chappelle made reference to it. That's a hell as a joke,
but everybody just laughed. But that's the truth. Go out
to see me Valley, California. We're shooting the movie. And

(08:47):
where an area fifty one is that? They said, start
driving over that way. Mast drum four jeeps came on
the way going and said, I we shoot the movie
going back that way. Yeah. I said, ain't nothing here.
Why why won't they let me go exactly? You didn't
know what's bad? Joking? And that man, man, that's the truth.
Read about areafty one joke fifty one is no joke.
Whatever's over that they won't let you go see it.

(09:08):
If they got aliens over there making tacos, all kinds
they do. They got aliens working over the All aliens
are black, black and skin color. Yeah, we're a majority.
That's why they won't let him leave Area fifty one.
That you see that, you showed me something new. Oh there,

(09:29):
I thought series back, the old ones, the reruns. They're
gonna allow the codes they should have if they got
my man from suff with heaven, ain't nobody stopping nothing
he's doing. And this man talking about having you know,
oral sex with two girls ten years old, and no
one jumped at it. No one jumped at him. Roma Lanski,
thank you, you got an Oscar Craig. Look, well now
we got a president. Look he's for rape charger. They

(09:51):
let the show back on the air. We got a
president for rape chargers, and those charges will probably go away.
Watch the girl will never exist? Well no, I think
they said she already dropped those charges. But she got
the death right the underage. Yeah, she got death threats
and everything else. They said she made the story up
because he was supposed to go on child for that
in December, December thirteenth, I was going, Now, if he
invited you to the White House before, would you go
to perform? You know what? The first time I performed people,

(10:12):
I was the first black community to do the correspondence
there it was it was Bush Um Bush Senior, Junior,
Bush Senior, and I didn't I'm gonna do this, so
I'm not doing this man. And they begged me because
the black correspondent said, we've never had a comment and
we need you to come. But remember nine, it's all televised.
When I got that, they said, you don't look at
the president, you don't turn around, you don't talk to him. Well,

(10:33):
Mary Pratt from from DC was in trouble because she
said she spanked her kids. When I got there, they
begged me. I got it. I said, I turned around
and looked at Barbara Bush. I said, you don't spank
your children. She said yeah. I said, thank you, and
everybody in the audience. I said I should take care
of Mary Pratt's problem. And they hustled me out the
White House and all the brothers said, you just ended.

(10:55):
I said, look if you if I'm gonna be here,
i'm gonna say something. Yeah, I'm gonna be gonna am
They said, don't trying to look at him, but they're
right behind me. I said, I cannot not around us
both now it was like a special The bad part
is Barack Obama has been funnier than every comics. But
the last year, no, no, they write for him. He delivers.
They got his own. He could be a comic. He

(11:17):
delivered him can be yo. You write for him, but
he asks it. I can see his spin on it. Right,
he's god. He does a good job. Rock can be anything.
He's got the first black president of the United States
of America. That man can be anything. A president that
built bridges instead of thank you yea. To this day,
he still doing. He's sitting with Trump. He could have
gone off on him. I didn't understand. I didn't like that,

(11:38):
you know what. But the way he didnt he knows
it's about being president. See now we're at another level.
It's called being presidential, about us, fighting us, being an activist.
I get. He's like, man, this man fails. He's like, Y,
don't understand. This man fails. We go down. This man's
potential to not destroy this country destroys the world, because
where America goes, everybody goes. True Canadians are crying. I
mean I was in Canadad. They were crying. If this

(12:00):
man fails, miserably, the world fails. Even people hate us
are texting please please will hate you next week? Can
you get him together? He can't be this fool. Yeah,
people think like a nation like America can't fall every
day nation, every great empire falls. We could easily be wrong.
And then twenty twenty watch every Food Gonna Run. People
used to know people used to know Kanye Gonna run. Yeah,

(12:25):
I think Chris Rock run. I'm thinking about running Kanye
Kanye one runs own running. What do you think of
Michelle run? Do you think Michelle run? Chell would have killed?
She ran in the last week of this year. They
had something to Michelle killery she would have won. But
the one to watch we shouldn't tell everybody is Kamala
Harris out of California. This used to be the lawyer
for Lizzie Lohan, district attorney. She just won the first

(12:48):
Senate seat. She's half black and half in East India.
But there was an immigrant smart, I said, chill lawyer, lawyer.
I wrote him the reason because I wrote her name
Jonson forget trouble. I actually called it. I called her once.
She said some bad Please don't tell me you in trumps.
No, no no, no, I just need to know if it's
your number. Because if I ever hit up in jail,
I'm calling you first. You've never ended up in jail

(13:09):
for anything, have you. I've been in jail for protesting
in college, but I've been arrested. We've been handcuffed for
like a robbery at seven eleven and three brothers robbed
at seven eleven. My boys seven foot one, other dude
six to eight. I'm six six, two brothers five eight
robbed at seven eleven. That's a posse and a star. Yeah. Yeah,
they stopped us and I'm and I can't help it. It
It sevens. I couldn't shut my mouth. I said, it

(13:30):
didn't shoot me? This white cops said, well, I didn't
shoot because I'm eating my fridos and I'm going to
the dorm. I bet you wouldn't try him like that.
Now I would shoot you. I'm like this. I will not,
but my son will tell you. When they stopped me,
I said, dude, you better find some drugs in this car.
You better call somebody if you just taught me because
I'm black, We're not have a problem. Damn, I'll be right.
Give me your life to me right back. You have
a good desk. That's why I thought you better find

(13:52):
some drugs car or call some people. Because you ain't
gonna beat me down the street. I'm not getting out.
I'm not putting my hands. I said, I would respect
you till you don't respect me. Being a police officers
are hard drop, but just stopping people because you ain't
got nothing better to do doesn't work for me. I
know two me police officers out there risking their lives
doing the right thing. Because you felt like pulling me
over in my navigator put your wrong brother. He that's
age privilege. I don't feel like I can do that yet. Well,

(14:14):
you know that all the time. When I was young,
I said, she thing is when you ain't riding dirty.
She just you know when your friends is dirty. Man,
these cops men just be cool. I said, it's bad man.
I put it need your seat. I put in need
your seat because one time I was like nineteen, I
was going off on the police officers. Let me talk
to him, mad man, just the man doing his job.
He put cocaine under the seat of my car. Man,

(14:37):
I'm gonna such the car. I hope you find something.
That same thing happened to me. That's why I don't
talk back to the police. No, I'm not always crazy
the police by homeboy got five grams of cold going
him that put your hand money back. I'm like, for
what he got cold? And you're boy like this, hey man,
come on, be right man, Like yeah, be right man.
He got arrested. I got arrested. Took all of the

(14:58):
j because he act like it was the his like
he playing at that and he had me believing they
really planted it. And I'm talking so crazy to the prod.
I'm like, yeah, they probably planned. Talking crazy to him.
Get to the police station. He finally admit his mind, like,
come on, man, we got more with Sinbad when we
come back. Don't move. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning,
the Breakfast Club. Yeah. I always wonder if you ask yourself,

(15:22):
that was for free DJ Khalick Drake Morning. Everybody is
DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the
breakfast Club. We have comedian Sindbad in the building. Is
it possible with Donald Trump presidency could work at all?
I really believe this. I don't think they want Donald.
They got the man they wanted Pence. They might impeach
Trump to get the boy and the one I'm watching

(15:42):
it's Pence. Trump will talkings way out of this. He'll
he'll jack up, He'll just do so. He'll touch some girl.
He can't stop leporate. It's gonna be a leoport. He
is gonna be who he is and his wife is
I'm out. I'm not even legal. He can't bring this
on me. They just the boy there. He looked like,
I don't want me here, daddy. They they Kyla would
be a daddy. His two sons gonna lose his business.

(16:04):
He's gonna Eric and Donald Junior run his business. He
gonna lose everything he got like this. He doesn't want
to be here. He likes talking, right, he likes talking.
That's a little upset when he won. Oh no, what
he was like this. I was gonna win. I know,
I know. Man. We wish you hadn't gone on that tour.
You should never set the wall. Well, remember he wasn't
supposed to win. Remember the young lady that put that

(16:26):
whole campaign together. People do want to go back to
the beginning. It was get twelve percent of votes in
Iowa and shake up the Republican Party. And he won it.
And she said, oh wow, I expect to win. He says,
what we do now? She goes, we quit because you
don't know anything. Because I'm gonna win. She goes, you
can't win. You don't know anything. Yeah, and she's the
one that crished because I upcreated this monster. It was
supposed to be a joke. It was never supposed to happen.

(16:47):
Doctor Ben Carson said he wouldn't join Trump's cabinet because
he doesn't have any government experience. The president don't go govern,
but you ran for president? Hold up, he said, He went, Wait, man,
this is some sad stuff. I will not join his
cabinet because I don't have experience. But you man for president.
Oh yeah, but I'm a surgeon. But yeah, man, but
but you ran for president. That's not being in the cabinet.

(17:07):
So I think Ben lost his minds and last surgery
and I love that brother. I think the last Surgeony
said we gotta let Ben go. I think Ben was
doing this because first we don't know what he's ever said.
Let me, what are you saying, Ben? And then didn't
him that's what Donald never daught him said, Yeah, yeah,

(17:31):
I didn't know he was running. We keep saying, who's
that's Ben? Carson. Why is you up there? Think he's running?
I think yeah, No one knew, no one knew. Yeah,
it's a strange time. We ain, man, it is a
strange time. But you know what, it shook up the
Democratic Party. It shook up all of us that should
been shook up. And even just assuming black folks will
vote that, you got a lot of black folks called
the wild work. Ain't say bad before you get man,

(17:53):
I tell you vote for Trump. Loose my number. A
brother can't explain to himself both Trump. No, you can't explain.
Somebody kind of talk to you. Man, I know you're
gonna judge me. And I said, well man, listen, I'm
it's Lucifer now just for now listen. Number didn't vote. Oh,
I like the ones Cavernick man, you're doing all this
taking the knee. And then he didn't vote. I said,

(18:13):
come on, cap man, Well he said, he said he
didn't agree with the candidates from the start, though, But
we never agree with any of them other than Barack Obama.
I haven't agreed with most people. But you look, you
don't agree with a lot of stuff. We still do it.
I don't greet with a stop like at night, but
I still stopped. I don't agree with a lot of things,
but I still do it. I think you should have voted,

(18:34):
but I didn't like what people like Stephen A. Smith
tried to discredit everything else he's done. You can't discredit.
But did kind of a dude, It just made it. Man.
You was you were so strong what you're saying. And
you said, I didn't votecause I'm believing most of us
didn't believe. Look, I think almost everybody that voted this
year didn't believe in anybody, even if it was voted
for Trump, didn't believe in it. They just they hated Hillary.
That's what he did. It made them. Yeah, that's the

(18:56):
process of it. Yeah. It was like said, okay, so
you going to Chelton. Now you gotta beautiful dog, show
you the shelter, and this dog is jacked up and
this dog's jacks. If I gotta take one of these
dogs from I've done that. You take the least of
the two crazy dogs, but you still got a crazy dog.
You do that with women too, No, that's young. You
do that when you're young. You're in the club like that. Man,

(19:17):
it's one o'clock, damn that's all I'm left foot, that's
all I'm left. When you get about thirty five, let's
just go and younger what you want. Let's just go
to Denny's. Let's go eat. You're gonna trust me on this.
You're gonna love me tomorrow. Let's go get some breakfast.
Young dude too at Denny's. Look that winters, Dude, that's

(19:41):
a Denny's waitress. Let it go, Let it go, man. No, man, well,
I'm talking when you start when you at Denny's, because
you didn't get have success at the club. And now
you see what's left at Denny's. That's wrong. That's wrong.
We had Dennis. You go like, look, man, looks cook,
Look at the cook. Let it go, man, let's go home.
You're gonna be at Caroline's all weekend at seven thirty

(20:02):
and ten and Saturday at seven thirty and ten. And
you can always go to Carolines dot com for reservation.
And that's my man. Chase opening for me right here,
Chase up. Brother, You look like it's sun. I know
he done. That's my son, right, he robs stores those things.
My son. They let him go. Wow, that's awesome. Has
a record, you know, you don't record. If you send back,
we can still stuff. Gonna that instill that we've done that.

(20:23):
I take a lot of stuff. Now I'm gonna stores
work coach out still sing that crazy you just walk
out with ruined that. No, he didn't do it. I
had a beam Dubby for a week test drive. I
just kept it sad. You're gonna bring it back? Man?
I love this man? Are you crazy? It's almost lost

(20:45):
my job? My goodness sending it's the breakfast club. Good morning,
the breakfast club that was Drake with control of morning.
Everybody's d J M v Angela, Charlotte the guy. We
are the breakfast Club. We got a special guest in
the building. He has but light with him today. Yeah

(21:06):
yeahs Malone. Malone is back, Ashley. I just girlfriend ash
I just have to say one thing. I just want
to apologize because I wasn't here when you came up
here the first time. I had to actually leave and
go out of town and it got rough. People always
tweet me like, yo, you're so hard on post Malone.
How we got a conversation like well, you did say
that he was gonna lose his girl, but she's here. Yeah,

(21:29):
you know he lost for a three second lost. For me,
it's been rocky sometimes, you know, but you can imagine
that with everything that's going on. But we're here, we
are Hey, you know I needed to at least come
up and pretends the hardest thing is it like the startom?
Is it the money? Is it the fame? Did you
feel yourself a little bit and start flipping on your

(21:50):
day ones? I think I think the hardest part is
you know, it's it's it's it's tough having a balance
between you know, dedicated my life to music and dedicated
and you know time, you know, for a woman, Yeah,
you know, it's tough because you want to you want
to get into the studio, you want to make as
good music as you can, and you know, sometimes you're

(22:11):
real busy. Other negativity affect you, Like I know, people
would be coming at you for different things. There was
that misunderstanding where they said, oh, he's not doing hip
hop anymore? Was the bear away from that? Do country? Right?
I mean I'm just making music. I mean does that
bother you? Like? Does it get to you sometimes reading
people's comments. I got this cool but be an alcoholic post.

(22:34):
Now I'm not. I'm ana functionation. You know, it surprised me.
Was justin Bieber Show, not by myself, want my daughters.
I just didn't go to Biber show and post Malone
opened up and I was surprised of the reaction that
you got because he was kids that were eleven to
grandma's that were forty nine and they ald knew your stuff.
Were you surprised by that? No, that's it was terrifying too.

(22:55):
And whenever he invited me on tour, I thought it
was a joke. Um, is that what you choked him
in the club? Stop playing with me? And now we
were just trolling. Okay, we rolled the whole world, putting
that cigarettes on each other. Yeah, it was weird stuff
that beer bond gets going at night. You never know
what's going on. How did you get that call for
the tour? I mean we was just in the studio

(23:16):
recording and um, he was like, come on tour, and
I thought it was a joke. But then you know
the next day he says, here the dates, let's do it.
So must have really really had like a great connection
because yeah, he's always in the studio with people and
for him to be like post Malone, is it I
think he's I think he's a real guy. You know,
I think he's a real I think he's a real,

(23:37):
nice person, a genuine guy. Sweet guy. Again, misunderstood you
know by everybody. Everybody wants to jump to conclusions, make
him look look out to something that he's not. But
he's had some fun times with Justin Bieber. He got
mad girls in the studio. Oh yeah, I'm sure mad drugs,
mad alcohol in the studio. Oh I mean not really,

(23:58):
You've been in the STUDI with a bunch of yah.
I mean not really. It's trying to make his girlfriend
mad at him or something again again, Um, it doesn't
get it easier too as far as like balancing workers,
it's always gonna be tough. But I think you just
if you put in an extra ever, everything works out.
Like two women come up to you and ignore your

(24:20):
girlfriend like she's not there. Inteed, Yeah, that's okay. She
she fights all of them hands. Do you have to
take her everywhere? Noka, she's she's my cheerleader, Like what's
that guy's name that now? People were also disappointed that
your album was supposed to come out and you even
named Yeah, that had to be a big disappointment that

(24:44):
you even had to post about that. That sucks, Um
that I feel like. I feel like at that moment,
I really let everybody down. Everybody had been waiting on
the album for so long. I'm just I'm happy that
it's out. I'm happy that it actually came out this year. Um,
you know, I felt terrible letting everybody down. But you
know it's here. Um, it's it's it's a trifold, beautiful packaging,

(25:07):
beautiful package out. And I got a chance to listen
to some of the records on it. Man, how did
you hook up with Klanni because Ki is dope? Well,
thank you, sir. Um it was. I mean I have
been wanted to work with her since, like, you know,
the beginning of everything. She was an adult place during
that time. I mean, I'm not quite sure I haven't
I had. I just recently linked up with her and

(25:28):
became friends with her, and and we were looking for
the beautiful No, she's super dupe. She's super dope, beautiful,
super dupe beautiful that she beautiful Yeah okay, but um yeah, um,
we were looking for the perfect female feature. And she
snapped like she's super talented. Sounds great, So you're not

(25:49):
allowed to even like acknowledge that girls are beautiful. Yes
he can, he said yes twice. No, he never said that.
He said she was dope. He said she was beautiful.
So you have to add actually like stuff like that.
I mean when she's in the room, right, she not around? Right,

(26:11):
let's talk about the music. I see a lot of
the smoke, like in the room with Justin Bieber if
you're asleep or something. What she ain't smoking in the
room with no Justin Bieber. You think Justin Bieber? You
think Justin Bieber is cute? No, she don't. What do

(26:33):
you mean? You like? But there is something to be
said for working in the studio with artist because I
feel like a lot of times people sending the track
over the person gets on it, but it is a
different type of connection. So with your guest appearances, you
did you sit down in the studio or was it
let me send you this track, get on it? Man. Yeah,
everything that I did besides Kailani was was was you know,

(26:55):
and two chains So I mean I guess just In
quevo in Bieber and you know working with Pharrell was
super dope, right, Um? Yeah, everything other than Chains him
and Killine was in the studio with me. I feel
like you just get that you just you know, you
feed off each other's energy and the song is that much.
It's exciting to reach out to somebody like Pharrell and
actually get him to do a chat because that was

(27:16):
like the legendary people will never have the app. I
met him at Bonaru. He brought me on the bus
and he was like, yea, I love what you're doing.
Um I see it, like, let's work, and then we
made We made a couple of tracks. We got some
stuff today. Now he's a sweet dude, really smart dude.
We got more with postmlow. When we come back, don't move.

(27:37):
It's the Breakfast Cloakal Morning, the Breakfast Club Morning. Everybody
is DJ m vy Angela Yee, Charlomagne, the guy. We
all to Breakfast Club. We got post Malone in the building. Now,
ye you call everybody's sweet. No, No, there's a lot
of sweet people in the world. You know, people that
that are you know, just spreading good energy vibes. That's

(27:58):
what it seems like you try to do, like you
never or I guess you always stay high when people
go low, like Michelle Obama, said, because you always get
a show. Obama came at me. I missed it when
he didn't mean like high. He tried to stay high
all the time. I was like, how do I missed that?
She said, when they go low, we go high. Right, okay, okay,

(28:20):
be could you always get the cultural appropriation? Man, you
don't ever feed into it. So they put that video
up of you like unearthing. No, those are those are
my Chuck Norris action shorts. Chuck nor Um What was
then about? So it was with me and my friend.
We was just around. I decided to get ned and

(28:42):
start dancing. I mean he wasn't that I was a
neked one, Okay, yeah, I mean those are that's my
Stone Coach shorts. You know. I was just having fun.
Oh you're talking like a wrestler. I'm not not a
wrestling but those are those are Stone Coach shirts. I
was just missing the lake brace. How in that video
he was a kid. He's a kid now. I mean
he's a young now young man now. But you like, yeah,
you could ask a teenager. Yeah, I was a team Okay.

(29:03):
I was like, I was like just turned seventeen, you know,
like in the middle transitional weird period where I wanted
to have fun and just be weird. It's just like
it's just like, you know, I had never have have
I never planned to have anybody see something of mine
a million times? Like I don't know. I don't think

(29:23):
anybody unless you really are like you don't ever expect it, right,
So it's like I was just having fun with my friends.
There's like nothing to it. Yeah, is it when that
comes out? Are you like that's funny? Or are you like,
oh my god, listen, listen whatever. Whenever it came out,
I was, I was freaking out. But you feel gay? Okay?
I ain't. Never do you ever watch do you watch

(29:44):
it now? Like over and up it like, Yo, it's
that funny. I think it's hilarious. I think it's hilarious.
But I never felt gay. What does the gay feel like?
Tell me? Tell me what in my life? Now? Have

(30:09):
you met allen Ion? No? I have not. That's my
that's on my buckets. He said he wants to meet you.
I know that's what him. There was there was a
rumor that said he was assuming me for six million dollars,
but I don't have six million dollars. Yeah, So no,
but I heard he likes the song. I heard he
likes this song, and you know, can yeah, I made
a million, not sex. I mean maybe I'm like somewhere

(30:33):
there's six, but I don't have that right now. That
with the whole cultural appropriation thing, like you don't like
you you did get popping because of hip hop, right,
but then you said you want to do country now,
I mean I want to do country. Down the line,
I'm still in the phase. I'm young. I'm having fun.
I'm making the music that I like to make, and
I'm just having fun with it right now. Whenever I
get into a studio, I don't say, hey, I'm gonna

(30:54):
make a hip hop song, or hey, I'm play guitar
in this song. It's just wherever you know the vibes
take me. Kind of you consider yourself just so hardest,
I guess I feel like there's way too much boxing
of genres. I feel like you should be able to
make the music that you like and if your fans
like it, then you know that's dope. If they don't, Beyonce,

(31:15):
they were mad that she performed at the Country Music Awards.
They didn't want her to get nominated. It is crazy
that they feel like if I do a song that
fits in this category sometimes then I can't do something
that's over here. It's crazy, I think. I think. I
think that's what's wrong with social media nowadays too. People
are so opinionated and people have way too much you
saying everybody's so smart and everybody's a credit. Everybody knows

(31:37):
everything you know. It's like just like if you don't
know the situation, don't speak on it. Let me ask,
how how did you feel this Sunday? Right? Well, my
New York Giants down your Dallas cowboy? How did that?
I'm a cowboy fan. Your dad he's a coach at
the Key coaches the Cowboys. No, he don't, he doesn't secorn.

(31:58):
We parted. Your father still sells popcorn now, he don't know.
He's in the office now. Yeah, he's say this white
privilege thing when you get yeah, I get you know,
he gets me tickets. Yeah. I mean, if you're nice
going Sunday, I gotta go to each other. I gotta
go to each other. Like I don't dislike you, but

(32:21):
I don't like to smell a bid cigarette and postlone
smells like every bill and every cigarette that's in whatever
convenience store in New York City right now, only smoke
camel s though, right now, kid rock right here, lady front,
when you first started going on tour with Justin, which
is a huge audience for you to now, like, how
is your show changed? I feel like it's just better.

(32:43):
He taught me how to stay healthy. He told me this.
This man eats salmon three times a day and apparently
that's very good for you. Apparently. What about all the drugs.
He doesn't do a lot of drugs. He doesn't do
any drugs. Actually, he doesn't do any drugs. Well, I
don't smoke no more, but you smoke to Justin. I

(33:04):
mean it's okay. Listen, if he was to pass me
a little at some something, When is the last time
you had your hair braided a long ass time. I'm
not gonna lie a long as I have a hard time.
It's just yeah, please, because it gets to a point,

(33:24):
it gets to a point where you're like, this is
gonna take so long to get out that you just
don't want to do. That's nothing, that's all this is.
Nappy headed white boy. Is nappy headed white boy? Your hair?
You got how you a nappy headed white boy. It's
a Native American otive. Oh how'd you feel about the

(33:48):
North Dakota Pipeline pipeline? I think that was a crazy situation.
I mean I haven't really gotten into it, but my
homie told me about it and stuff. We got more
with posts below what we come back, don't move. It's
the breakfast cloud more morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Ye,
Charlomagne the guy we are to breakfast club. We got

(34:08):
post malone in the building. Now's Charlomagne. So why are
you were in church fans? That's a good look t
shirt church fans. The Ostrich boots to my Peter plugs.
It's fun. Don't worry about that. It's okay. Yeah, man,
I got you know, I'm trying to I'm trying to
get classy now. You know. I was really inspired by

(34:29):
Connor McGregor, so you know he got the sauce. How
many tattoos do you have? I saw you recently getting
another one. Yeah. Last time I was here, I didn't
have any. Really yeah, I didn't have any. I just
got I got. I started getting tatted like you had
like seven months ago. You have the hand touch you
didn't have the hand touch, you had nothing that hasn't quick. No,

(34:50):
I haven't really quick. It's addicted. I don't see no
picture Ashley on that names right here, it's hitting under
your watch. Is there's an end at the end, guys,
I just don't get her face. It's coming soon, you know,
right here, right here? Why JFK should have got Jeff?
Why JEFFK? I just think this one's still healing. I
just think he was a real one, because you know,

(35:11):
I think that he was He was the really the
only president to really speak out against the crazy corruption
stuff that's going on in our government nowadays. And I
don't want to weird stuff like just and how JFK
was killed by US they implemented the civil rights back
in nineteen sixty four with Martin Luke King Jr. I
didn't know that really absolutely, Um. I think I think

(35:35):
that he was just you know, I think he was
a real guy. I think he was a real American
and he loved this country. And he spoke out in
days later he died. Why do you think he got
killed because he spoke out? Yeah, he was just literally
like days before he died, he was talking about how
our government focuses on corruption instead of truth and and

(35:56):
all the things. There's a there's a great speech where
he goes back and forth between the negative is and
what we should be focusing on. In days after that,
like he died. For most people who helped the poort
disenfranchise in America end up getting assassinated in some ways.
I mean, it's a trend that can't be not noticed.
Why did it say whatever in the palm of your hand? Oh,
that's a nirvana, this is whatever? Never mind, But this

(36:19):
one faded? So was it a tatle you just wrote it? No,
it's a tap was the first one you got? Start
getting this one? This playboy bunny, Um, that's it. And
I was playing basketball with Justin and he's so fast
he just knocked it off while it was healing. And
and you're just a really developed quite a friendship. He's
a good guy, you know. I love him, Yeah, whenever

(36:39):
I eat, And I have so much respect for him,
Like going on tour and doing shows for two hours
a night like that's superhuman, like for almost a year,
you know, And that's a huge boose for you because
then you get Justin's fans and you know who anybody
that's a fan of Justin that I feel like if
he co signed you right automatically, they're like that back

(37:00):
to what you were asking earlier. Um, you know going
on stage was the first time was terrifying and it
didn't get any better like the past the next times
for how ever, many shows that I did, Um, but
you know, they were all really supportive because you know,
I justin you. You know, they have no option and
they know your music at first or was it one
of those things but they just looking at you. I

(37:21):
mean they knew too young and white overson, but then
everything else was like you know new yeah go flex
was they love that too? What's the biggest temptation you've experienced, Like,
you know, your star has risen like being on tour
stuff like that. But I'm sure the women have come
at you. There it is again, here it is again,
around two. I'm sure to come with you. I mean,

(37:45):
no ash ashes on mesh on my head. Yeah, she'll
beat my ash she'll beat there there. It's just you know,
like it's it's it's a wild it's a wildlife. But
you know, the best way to to be a good boy,
it's just play boxing and keep them outside the tour bus.
That can get annoying too, though. It's like a parent
that's like constantly on their child. You're like, give me

(38:07):
some freedom. No, not if he loves her. And once
you're there, answer this one? Smart? What answer this one? Smart?
What's the question? Does it get annoying? No? You guys
tucking marriage? I don't know. I mean, Ashley, that's okay,

(38:30):
game down? Need would he tell you to stay? You stay?
That's all right? Him, that's all right. Let's talk about
the music. Yeah, you tweeted once that, Um, I don't know.
I don't follow you on Twitter. The new Story is
in stores right now. Did you vote for Trump? I

(38:51):
didn't vote. Why political? Making a political stand though I voted,
don't count. I mean it's all really our votes now,
our votes, our votes don't Our votes are suggestions to
the electoral college. That's all it is. So they can
vote who for whoever they want vote and then lose

(39:13):
the elector. Yeah, it doesn't make any sense. It's all systems, right,
tell me more. Because you're young and you got a voice,
I would like to know your thoughts on the current system.
And I can't. I can't even get into this because
I'm not I'm not really I feel like Bernie Sanders
should have one, okay, because I think he was the
realist one. I think he was the realist one. Right.
Do you feel like one of them was more fit

(39:34):
than the other though, I mean, if you have, I'm
I'm gonna talk about that with my fans, you know,
you know. But at the same time, it doesn't really
matter what I think. It doesn't matter what I think
because everybody has their own opinion, and like I said,
everybody's so opinionated and everybody's right. So if I say something,
I'm gonna get skewered for it, right, So I'm just out.

(39:55):
But you don't care what people say? You have that what?
But yeah, you know, but I mean too an extent,
to an extent, it can still hurt you, yea in
some way? Yeah? Yeah, yeah. I feel like you feel
like seeds of racism were planted in the generation that
wasn't even thinking about it. I think, I think that
it's there, and I think that there's a lot of
crazy stuff going on in this world right now, and

(40:16):
I don't know where it came from. I was born
in nineteen ninety five, um, but you know, I think
there's some crazy stuff and we need to really come
together as humans. And ma, right, what do you do
when you're when you experienced racism, like meeting that you're
around some white people who may be being racist? How
do you? I mean, I don't hang out with racist

(40:38):
I mean, yeah, I have. I haven't been in a
situation where something has happening and they have been racist
or anything like that. So Trump asked you to perform
at his inauguration? Would you do it? How much money
is he paying? Oh? Bad answer. That's a joke. Neil
tried that earlier. Neil, it just make any sense because

(41:01):
if I do his show, does that mean that I'm
a supporter of him for inauguration day? Yes? If it's
on inauguration day, yes, I think so. I think that's
the perception. It is the perception of it. That's what
people will take from it, like, oh, because it's inauguration,
it's him hand picking people that you know he likes,
and you agree because you want to be there. I
don't know. I mean, okay, I guess I missed that part.

(41:23):
And you got a kid a rockish vibe, you know
what I'm saying Kid Rock has kind of let us
down because Kid Rock came up off hip hop and
he was around a lot of black people. Then he
just became like the most super conservative f you build
the wall around everybody person out here. That's wild stuff.
That's wild stuff that you know that doesn't you know,

(41:43):
not everybody agrees with not every white person agrees with
with that stuff. Some of your favorite artists out right now,
like the younger artist. I mean, I like, I like Oozy.
I like he just got arrested providing his dirt bike
with no help. Yeah, no, that's crazy stuff. And he
had a wild police chase. Yeah, that's crazy stuff I have.
I haven't looked into that either. I try, you know,
I don't really read the news or nothing, but I like,

(42:06):
you know, I like thug Um. He's thinking about all
the political stuff, he said, wondering if he said something wrong.
Your mind is that He's like, have you ever been arrested?
Have I been arrested? Now? Okay boy? Yeah? It could
to keep my stuff in in in the in the

(42:27):
in the shadows in the dungeon and the turn up dungeon,
or people get arrested for little things like smoking weed
in a place you didn't know you couldn't smoke weed,
and you know cool. I mean I used to get
in trouble a lot in high school for parties. But
that's about it. You're a good guy. Yeah, I'm a
good guy. I'm very chill. I'm boy. Look good for you.
Thank you well. This album is out right now with

(42:49):
Tony and make his debut album. By the way, so
you know you've heard the mixtapes and everything. Did you
listen to it? Absolutely not? I might, though, What do
you mean absolutely? You might? You might like it. I
might know somebody did recommend it. I'm lying, but I'm
gonna listen to it. You gotta listen to what he asked,
I am. I'm gont to it. It's some of your
favorite some of your favorite artists felt like they could

(43:11):
co signed post Malone and be featured on this album.
Who if Pharrell could go in the studio with him.
Two Chains is on here, Kalani's on here, C's on here,
then maybe it's worth a listen for him. I haven't
gotten a chance to a lot of stuff came out
last week. Jake Cole came out last week Freaking as
you can have that one who still has CDs. I

(43:32):
guess I title. All right, well you have it. It's
the Ashley good Seeing. Can you say her name? Ashley
good Seeing? You ask you? It's the Breakfast Club is
post Malone, Thank you guys, The Breakfast Club hell Maine.
Say that gang don't get the shape man you are

(43:58):
talky today does not to scrim I might not have
the song of today, but I got the donkey that
if you ever kil I needed to be a donkey man,
Tito with the the Breakfast Club bitches. They just don't
kive the day today es Dunkey of the day goes
to a young man from Michigan named Brian Earl Taylor.
He's twenty one years old. He was convicted of unlawful

(44:19):
imprisonment in carrying a concealed weapon. He received the two
year prison centers for the weapon conviction in eighteen months
to fifteen years for false imprisonment through a sentencing agreement.
Now what exactly did Brian do well? Investigators believe Brian
and two other men forced the man into a car
and drove to his Railroad Street home to rob him.
And it didn't help that Brian Taylor was on parole

(44:40):
in Wayne County and had multiple open felony warrants at
the time. Now, when you got all those charges against
you and you already on parole, it's pretty much a rap. Okay,
take that kid out the oven. It's done. And Brian Taylor,
I'm sure knew that when he was in court on
March tenth, because he was very apologetic, so apologetic that
he wrote a song about it. You want to hit
go hello there he a ner. I want to say,

(45:06):
I'm sorry for the things I've done, and I try
him be stronger in this life I chose, but I
want you to know that do close in your honner.
I'm sorry, sorry, he's sorry. Sorry to my mother, I'm sorry,

(45:29):
he sorry, sorry, sorry, Me to the victim, I'm sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry,
thank you? Drop a bomb from Brian. Yeah, I'd let
him off astely. I'm glad you said that, because I'm
thinking the fact that he's still got sinness to possibly

(45:51):
seventeen years, is that the judge's way of saying he sucked. Damn. Okay.
I have seen this before. I have friends whoever broke
out in the song in the court room and hopes
to avoid ja time. In fact, I've seen it work before.
My guy Wax was facing ten years once for kidnapping.
He sang Amazing Grace, so beautfu sing Amazing Grace so

(46:11):
beautifully in that courtroom that day. Board tiars to the
people in the court eyes, so much so that the
judge gave a continuance and he eventually got probation. Okay,
and this is where Brian Taylor dropped the ball. An
apology isn't enough in the courtroom. The judge hits. People
say sorry all the time, whether it's just sad or sung.
The judge here is sorry all the time. When you're

(46:33):
facing that kind of time, you gotta call on the Lord.
You're gonna sing in the court room. You gotta sing
a gospel song. You gotta sing an amazing Grace. You
gotta sing I Love the Lord by Whitney Houston. You
know you gotta sing Jesus's Love Lionel Richie in the Commodore.
You gotta sing I Surrender All CC wine is okay.
One of those records might have got a couple of
years shaved off off his sentence. Not a karaoke version

(46:54):
of a Dell's Hello. Okay, all you did was pissed
off the white people by remixing the Dell song and
turning it into some fake as apology play, a little
bit of a real quick hello. Yeah, I want to
say how I'm sorry for the things I've done? Okay, Okay, Brian,

(47:15):
stop Brian, great, great effort, but nobody respects to under
the gun apology when sorry is not coming from a
sincere place. It's not respected. Of course you're apologetic when
you're in the courtroom facing all that jail time. Of
course you're sorry. Kids. Let this be a lesson to you.
All that tough talk goes out the window when the
judicial system got you by the bass. Okay, Brian Taylor

(47:37):
is the same guy who had the gun out, kid
napping folks, getting his thug on. But when he's in
front of the judge facing jail time, Brian Taylor turns
to Brian big knight. Hit it one more time, just
one more hited Hello, I ner want to say how
I'm sorry for the things I've done. Please get Brian

(47:59):
Taylor the biggest y'all. Please. You should have seen the
he hall. Hey man, you get an E for effort
or is it the A for effort, you get effort
and T for nice try God bless him. Man. All right,
but now everybody know you can think, so you know
what your job is in jail, buddy. But I can't
let you. I can only everybody is DJ Envy Angela Ye,

(48:32):
Charlomagne the guy. We are the breakfast club. We got
a special guest in the building. Should you return to
the scene of the crime, Mom is in the build.
Let's clear it up last time you was here, why
are you Everybody thinks Charlomagne's a bully. Yes he is
a bully, but you're bully. I didn't make you cry, right, No, No,

(48:52):
not technically, No, No, it wasn't you. You know what
was it was in the league because I did. I
did in an interview where you said, you know it
was Angelis and I watched it back I said, wait,
it was angel I got a whoop on planning. I
did not make you that's serious. Note. I mean the
reason why got emotional was because I was, you know,
talking about my mother and at the time, you know,
I hadn't I hadn't really come out about how I

(49:13):
felt about it. You know, I went through a phase
where in that moment when I came to talk to y'all.
That was the first time I ever sat down with
a group of people and disgusted it. So it was
just like everything emotions and plus Charlemagne was being me
in the whole interview though, yeah he was, he was.
He was being a little he was he was pushing
it a little hard. It was like he had an agenda.
He had an agenda. For the record, they told me

(49:34):
it was supposed to be jokes, and they said you
was gonna snap for menap you. It was like they
setting up like a reality show. I see what happened now,
never was day. It was da day. No, that's not
to be specific about what happened. Okay. I told a

(49:55):
little mom. I said, look, just say, you know, Charlotte
Mane is probably gonna say some rude things I and
she said, I got this, I could handle it. I
gave her the warning. It was it was. I gave
her warning. Angel y'all thought we was cool. I warned you.
I didn't. I didn't say it's gonna be jokes back
in part I said he's gonna be mean. He's gonna
go at you. Are you good man? You lying a

(50:21):
little mama Pop stepped to me looking for you. Yeah,
a little mama pop put a gun on you. Come
on now, don't snitch, hey, don't do stuff like that. Now,
what happened the other night in Brooklyn? You was fighting
the other night? Na, see what happened? You know what?
I didn't know. I'm so crazy. I was gonna come
to the book and be like, you ain't be rowed
up now. No, Actually what happened was I can't. What

(50:43):
had happened was I came to the club with what
I would call a group of young people because nat youth, yeah,
black youth. You know. No, No, basically, you know, my
my brother had a party. He was turning to twenty one.
I was in the house. I'm like, I'm not going nowhere.
I'm not doing it. I'm not even about to go
to no strip club but none of that. I'm staying home.
So I was like, no, I'm not gonna do that.
The kids turned twenty one, let me go out. You
got about them? Ah, these mother he just was getting

(51:06):
it on and I was in the middle of it, like, yo,
y'all gotta chill out. Nah. They was chilling that first,
but then it just got crazy and it was the funny.
The crazy part about it is that it was amongst family,
like it was a fight each other, close friends, and yeah,
they was fighting each other. They was close friends and family,
and I was just calling the middle. The security was like,
little Mama, you just need to go. This is not
good for you. You got way more to lose than

(51:27):
these kids. I was like, the end of the day,
my kids, um now, I didn't come to that. It
was just it was just really getting them all for
each other, because like I said, it was family. They
their family and close friends. And it's just that when
you're young like that and you get misunderstands, everybody want
to be the top door. You're fighting for yourself to
to like, you know, make itself look good. And I'm

(51:48):
past that phase. So I was able to keep a
level of mind and trying to get them to understand
what I know and with family fighting, just fight at
home fighting. It's the only bad. One asked me about
that too, because they told me it was there, and
I was like, oh, if you were there, yeah, he
was in the club. Yeh. When I left the fight
and I was about to go see us, like I
ain't going on there. He's already gonna stop saying my

(52:12):
father that came saying that, don't do that. That was
a video of you performing by a pool. Yeah, and
everybody turned into a meme. What was that about that?
That turned into me? Yeah it was I don't know
how supposed some other means, but um, I had visited
my uncle. I think we went to maybe Pa or

(52:33):
somewhere close by that I had some I had another
engagement to do later on that evening. They probably flipped
it around like, oh, this is her engagement. This is
a game because you know, people love they love it,
hated you know what I'm saying, the fool. But no,
but when this family, if you feel like you all
that and you had a family function and you're like, oh,
I can't perform here. I'm too big. Now I'm not
too big. If it's a couple of kids and they're like,
come on, we love the record, I'm gonna do it.

(52:54):
I always with the grits with them. I always saying
it's nothing, it's a check. She just did something. She did. Listen,
I'll say this. I always see little Mama. We end
up on a lot of panels together, her talking to
the kids and giving back, and she has a great
story of everything that she's been doing. We've been working,
me and Angel League. We're putting a lot of work
in twenty fifteen. Um because prior to last year, I

(53:17):
spent a lot of time going between California and New York,
just going back and forth and doing stuff with television,
and I feel like I was really able to put
my feet back into the say you in the city
and to really work with young people, just all everybody,
not just young people, but everybody. And just because we
did talent shows with singers, all types of stuff, right,
We was doing all kinds of panels, talking to the kids, churches,
everything which you mean you thinks look sad and yours

(53:39):
and the Michael Jordan crying face me because I saw
you post yours. Yeah, I posted mind because it was
one of those things where I was able to relate
to the comedy around it. I wasn't even looking at
it like, oh, it's sad that you know, I lost
my mom and I was crying this and me, I
wasn't that deep into it at that at that moment.
Probably was good. Probably it was New York because I
was home chilling that. My brothers they cut on me

(54:01):
all day, like they don't let me rock. So it's
like when you see something like that, just take it
with a grain of salt. I actually tried to defend it.
I was like, ye, y'all making fun of her, but
she was crying about her mom, and like, shut up,
she's trying because of you. Yeah, I mean, you know
you you you caught a lot of backlash because you
was robbing me hard. You was like, yeah, a little
mama was shot. I think it's a good time for

(54:22):
Charlotmann to apologize for that interview. I gotta look cute
when I set my apologies, and you did look cute.
Apologize come would really mean you know, it was jokes,
not apogiz joke all right, So in your defense and

(54:44):
your defense, some stuff wasn't jokes. And according to my brothers,
some stuff was right and stuff right, like you know,
like music all right, Like yeah, like where's the music?
I feel like in this industry, right, I got a
problem with a couple of things. A a lot of
vets don't really tell people, especially of my generation, was
really good, Like nobody is really sitting down like yo,

(55:06):
that's trash. What are you doing? Like you you where
you from? Are you from New York? Where you're from?
Are you from Calie? All Right, you don't have to
have the same sound. It's okay to you know, it's
okay to add to that sound and and you know,
do a little bit too with the show. Hey I'm
versa too. I could do that too. But stick to
your sound. Like what's your thing that you do. What's
new that you're thinking that you're creating, that that you
could come up with and push that artist to do that.
That's that's lacking in the music industry, just like if

(55:29):
somebody is slacking with their music, for somebody to be
able to be like yo, step step, come on, let's go.
If you're gonna do it, do it. Don't talk about it.
Even though even though Charlottage was gone off and like
I said, that's his persona, he gonna give it to
you hard and um, you know, but I mean, hey,
this is new. This is no sausage Day. I'm just
saying this. No, this is no. I didn't I know,

(55:51):
I know, I know I did, Sue, but hey, it
wasn't fun dancing. I feel like I feel like they
was giving you too much flak for that record was
supposed to be a fun record. It is a solid record.
I gotta tell you. I gotta tell you I respect you.
I respect you for that record or acknowledging true hip hop,
to be honest with you, has somebody else made that record?

(56:14):
I'm not saying any genders or anybody in particular, but
has somebody else made that record that maybe you guys
respect a little bit more. Nofect wasn't a kid rapper.
I would have loved sausage just like you can't come out.
My lip bloss is popping right now, Yo, listen Sausa
Jane lip bloss. I'm telling I said, no it ain't.
I said, hop off my sausage, respectively, letting people know,
like how do you go and hold on? No? But no,

(56:43):
come on? I mean, and I don't understand why men
wouldn't really like the record, because it's like, oh, so
it's a PROD thing. You don't want to be sitting
around saying so my father not gonna listen to that record, Well,
I'm not riding around listen to get it. Yeah, he
likes it. I mean, you know what I'm saying. It
doesn't that it's a just man morning. Everybody is DJ MG,
Angela Yee, Charlemagne and the guy we are the breakfast club.

(57:06):
Little Mama is in the building, Charlemagne. Now do you
feel like people don't respect you? I feel like I
took a lot of time away from what I was
supposed to be doing, and I let a lot of
things that happen in this industry affect me in a
personal way instead of just keep going, keep going and
keep going. You can't give up. And I know that
if my mother was here shooting, been like, yo, what
you're doing when let's go? Because she always maintained and

(57:28):
I can never say I saw her quit. I saw
two and three jars and take care of four kids.
I don't got no kids. But what I'm sitting around for?
What I'm I waiting for? You know what I'm saying.
My mother was twenty four she had me, So I'm like, yo,
I'm twenty four, I'm twenty five. Now I'm getting to
that face and I'm like, what was my mother doing?
What was she like? And That's what really pushed me
to be like, Yo, get on top of your a game,
do what you gotta do, work a couple jobs, get married,

(57:49):
has some kids, don't you think people give you a
lot of flapreneur reason though. That's one of the things
that made me feel bad after the last inter of you,
because I was like, damn, little mama really going through
some things that we may not knowing about. I saw
the interview you do a complex, yeah, and you said
you were damning it suicidal after that? No, no, no,
I never I never said I was suicidal. What I
said was a person can be suicidal. Oh to be

(58:12):
able to feel so crazy after that. You have some
people in this world, they so not even just people
mistake the word weak or weakness. Sometimes a weakness could
come from a lack of family, from a lack of trust.
You have all of these things that I've been blessed
to have, Like I have a great father. We know. Yeah,

(58:35):
in the beginning with my mom first passed, I neglected
my father to the point where our relationship was going
a little, you know, Sildward, because my communication with him
became poor. I was just dwelling on my loss. And
then I started getting back to like, Yo, this man
really loves me. He rises for me, he invests in me,
not only financially, but spiritually physically. My father is like
he's a dad, and I started just celebrating him more.

(58:58):
Some people are not blessed to have that. Some people
who never had like they had parents that they knew
all their life, but they never was in their life.
It's you. I've had a lot of different things happened
for you that were very positive, from America's Best Dance
Crew to being in the TC movie. Yeah you know. Now,
what's your relationship now with Tea Boys and Chili? It's
it's really good. We talk. We talk a lot. I

(59:18):
think that, you know, one of the biggest I want
to say the lemmas, but I really want to. I
don't know if that's the right word to use, but
it's a sensitive thing. When you have the perfect three
and this is the three you've you've learned to know,
you've learned to love, you grew it, and now you
have sausages now playing. But now you have this, this

(59:41):
this new young person that you know. We know we
kind of got a chance to, you know, be a
part of your journey and things like that. But you're
you're not left out. So we don't want to like
make a see mcgrid replacing her, and that was the
biggest issue in continually working with them. But I did
get a great run. They brought me out on some
great shows. I got to do the AMAS for the
first time with them. Um, I got to do some

(01:00:03):
shows in Canada, like we traveled the world together. There
phenomenal um group of people that they was able to
bring me on board for self. Even Vince having a
Tea boys had had some criticism like she said, you
were working hard enough or what happened with that? Yo?
They work hard, they work hard. But let me say something.
I was God bless God blessed tea bows each other.

(01:00:24):
Let me tell yourself. You know, sometimes we were being rehearsal,
and I gotta give it to Tian because she like,
like I was saying about you. She she's um, she's
very royal. She's not but she's no host bass. She'd
be like, yo, pay yourself, pay yourself. And if you
really look at her movement, she's very sharp and she
still got that swag on her. But she know how
to She she can do a show for two hours

(01:00:45):
and not get tight, not get winded, and well both
of them, but I mean with Tian I felt more
of a connection because she's more outspoken. I feel like
Chili she more, she more so maybe UM wanted to
kind of like give me my space and let me
get it on my own time. But together as a group,
I was able to learn a lot from both of them.
Made you a stronger person playing the left eye role,

(01:01:06):
I think it did. I think that when I played
left Eye, it helped me to see things about myself.
It taught me discipline, It told me respect, told me etiquette,
even acting. Coming in the game, I was raw. You know,
that's how that's how incidents like running up on stage happen.
I'm straight out of I'm straight out of New York City,
like New York. It's Bob, like, you gotta learn how

(01:01:29):
to all right. Now, it's at this moment, that's when
you sit down. At this moment, that's when you go.
You know what I'm saying, respect, Respect with someone else,
is putting together, Respect this area, respect that area. Now
when it's time for you to do you, you do
you to maximum. But now when it's time to sit back,
sit back. Some people might not have recovered from that,
but you actually managed to go on and do that.
Movie and I think that helped it out because at
first people were like, how is she playing that role?

(01:01:51):
How is she gonna do that? But then they thought
and it was like, Okay, I'm not mad at that.
She did a great job. What's your relationship with the group?
Now you still part of the group, they still go
on shows, or well, I've never been a part of
the group. They just brought me on as an honor
and which it was, Yeah, honorary l little Mama, and
I had the little stopped. I don't have the little
no more. And now I'm just playing that is a

(01:02:12):
good question. Yeah, mama, mama my family. My family always
called me mama. They never called me little Mama. When
I put little Mama on my name, it was around
the time that it was like little Wayne, low Zanne,
Little bad Will, little Kim, all of these different littles,
and I'm like, I write myself, and so I was

(01:02:33):
planning out my autograph, I was planning out my name,
I was writing music, I was doing all of this stuff,
coming up with covers from my mixtape. So that whole
process and creating that I created the little But really
my mother named me mama after though Mama from the
train from Mama from the train. Yes, wow, you got
brothers and assistants. I know sometimes they have to laugh
at some of these meetings though, wo'd you been responsible

(01:02:55):
for some good asses? You probably laugh at some of them,
Mere Dad, Yeah, I am, I tell you at them. No,
I told you. I told you I laughed at the um.
I laughed at the ones with the um with the
under arms. Did you know, like you know that that's funny?
I didn't see that. Mean, nobody tell you something like that.
You know, when you're a class, When you're a class
and you're under armed snake, but somebody yell out, yo,
who musty? Like that? And you're like, especially if you

(01:03:19):
just told somebody like yo, you got the old room,
They like, now, I ain't got no the older one.
They're the same ones like who musty? Like? That's a
fight right there? Which ones piss you off the most?
Which means this, yeah, because they're like they always like
to say you and bother in the same room at
the same time. That one got to piss you up
me and bow wow, that does not piss me off.
I told bow wow, And I'm gonna tell him again.

(01:03:41):
Let's make this movie let's get this money. I'm trying to.
If we play brother and sister in the movie, we will.
Like one thing, you got to understand that Wow is
a legend, that was a legend. You cannot take that
away from him. I want to hear it. Legend. You

(01:04:04):
call legend for different reasons. Eggy's a legend because he's
the first white girl to ever have success in legend.
Bow Wow has over twenty years of success in this business.
I've never I've never really been a big fan of
anybody in music when I was little because I was

(01:04:25):
so into the arts myself that when everybody was planning
and buying all of these magazines and stuff, I didn't
really like get into it myself, but I knew what
was going on. Bow Wow, he's a legend. He dies first,
he put it. He's a living legend, he put it.
My point is this. My point is this. You can't
offend me. You can't offend me by comparing me to

(01:04:46):
somebody who's great and handsome. So if you say we
look good, then I'm cool because you can No. I'm
saying he's the female version exactly like I do. Comfend
me that somebody handsome I'm like, all right, because that
out you look a little better than me, I'll be like, oh, look,
but Noah, you know he's he's a good looking guy.

(01:05:07):
See you blaming it up lately. It's because it's because
you're sensitive about your looks. No, it's not that I'm
sensitive about my looks. I think that naturally, as I'm
growing into a young lady and to a woman, my
style is just you know, it's picking up naturally. It's like,
you know, I'm about to get married. So not I'm
not proposed to Wait, guys, don't start no rumors. I'm
not I'm not proposed to think Sean think Sean. Sure,

(01:05:32):
there was a rumor they had posted a picture and
everybody said they was dating. Listen to me, pretty soon,
I'll be getting married, okay, because I carry myself as
a wife and I want children, and there's just there's
just an order that comes to that, and I carry
myself in the way of the things that I want.

(01:05:52):
So I'm going to receive it. Okay. So when I
when I, when I just like that, I'm going to
say us and become someone's fiance. You guys will be
the first ton Okay, all right, Well, we got more
with Little Mama when we come back. Keep it locked.
This to Breakfast Club. Good morning, Happy holidays. Wishing you
and your family the very best this holiday season from
all of us here at the Breakfast Club. The Breakfast Club.

(01:06:16):
You don't want to be saved. Don't save her. She
don't want to be safe. Don't save her. She don't
want to be SI. Don't save her. She don't want
to be Sish morning. Everybody is DJ m vy angela Ye, Charlomagne,
the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. Little Mama's in
the building now, Charlomagne. So what's next for a Little Mama. Well,
right now, we got to mix tape out, Take me back,

(01:06:37):
take me back. Look, did you hear it? See it's
what I'm talking about. You heard it, two songs? You
heard it, but there's seven on there. Yeah you heard
at least you heard too. It's your too sausage that's
on there. Yeah, seven songs on It's only seven and
I'm wenting my feet because we have so many different
styles of music. I wish I would have heard it, say,
I could have been prepared for this, but there's so
many different styles of music. I'm there. I gotta fulfill

(01:07:01):
the dudes like my father and like like envy over
here and just want to hear rap. No, it's not
a bad thing. You know. My father came to me
in a dream. It was like, Nigga, you better have
at least two on there for me. I'm just saying,
I love, I love. I love to rap and rap,
love to sing when it's right. If I hear beating,
I'm like, yo, i hear melody in it, it's gonna

(01:07:21):
come um. If I just hear spitting, that's when that happens.
If I hear a dance record like Sauces, I have
fun and do all of that stuff. I just do
what makes me happy in music, right, Yo, I'd be
looking at my pops like he was young when he started,
looking in the mirror, like God was young when I started.
And I still look good. And my mother deadly departed

(01:07:43):
banging through the jungle. I still forever my artist. Look,
you can't see me on a boat. You can't rock me.
Knew I was the king and tried beat me like Rottney.
If I decide the rocky, you can't outbox me, kick
block me. Even if you knock me. I ain't getting
no hend doubts. Not even jehov was witnessed. Now look
at the Grinch who still Christmas called me a freak,
come on flow with liqual Vicious, and I stayed with

(01:08:03):
the heat or the way that I ain't switching, never trading.
My team might have fumbled the rock back to chasing
my dreams, moving away to look black. If my success
make you sick, you're gonna right. And I'm only gonna
suggest y'all this that y'all stop because I'm not. I'm
on a whole another notch and the way I so sees,
I'm on a whole another crop, and I'm gonna keep
opening doors. Y'all can't lock on some thug life style.

(01:08:24):
These chickens kid Pop and if Pop was alive, he
put tuned two together like damn Mama. Then write a
whole another letter my favoless life. You know that's the family.
My pops in my bros was the first one stamping me,
trading the ill pa to get it Grammy. So watch
it that study these bros that can't stand me. When
I got a fan base, that's a fly cook up
that will I'll be spitting crack. Ain't time you look up. Man,

(01:08:45):
This blow so cold. I got him shook up. I'm
so body missed the pa. I got the hook up
and I ain't even fishing yet. You debate about the
rules that I break and the checks that I make.
It's an in so to me when you look me
in my face and you ask me as I'm good, No,
damn well, I'm great, and I don't respect you. If
you speak my name out of line, then you see me. Ye,
we snapping frames for your grand while I stand like

(01:09:06):
who raised these names? I know we're gonna through a change,
but we're part of the game. Because I ain't plan,
I'm caught from something different. Sign You could call me
Peter because I stick to my guns. So when close it,
I'm gonna just stick to my ones, you know, cut
through the chase and just get to my funds. It's
easy to me if it's rap, it's dinner. I'm a
class sick man called me just dinner. Twenty sixteen. It's
gonna be a hot summer, and twenty sixteen that's gonna

(01:09:29):
be a hot yo. I might drop Canary, I might
drop win the holding. So much heat. I'm starting to
feel like a sinner when I look into the eyes
of Dozer, who I do it for, know when they'd
do it for me, Make me do it more so
open wounds and battle scores that leave me sol right
overcome because I must sol ain't no if ends buntsle
I spend told with a lion's rule victorious because I

(01:09:49):
wanted more scared ones in frel ones that yo roll
with a game to get up. Yo. Yeah, she's better
than that. That songs I like that. Wow, I couldn't
do that, keep going. I don't think bad Wold got
bass like that, she said. Now we're glad salute the
little mama gonna get hurt about how to do this

(01:10:10):
movie where they play sisters. Hey, yo, listen, let's let's
do this bad Wow. We're on twenty seventeen. We gotta
be filming right now. They just need to be getting
ready to green light something. I don't know what it is,
but it's gonna happen, some type of freaky Friday something.
I dope that'd be fie. You hear me, I'll go off,
don't let me be coming in all right? So but

(01:10:30):
yeah and shout out your pops and pulling the ham
on Daddy, Daddy, feel the breakfast. Little
