(00:00):
Mojo in the Morning show. Asyou're going into work, going into the
office, this is a great timeto call us up and tell us maybe
that you're the thief that steals fromother people in the office. But Megan,
your brother just noticed that somebody stolesomething from his desk at work.
Yeah. So, my brother hasbeen working from home for years at this

(00:23):
point, and he had to startgoing back to the office kind of regularly.
But he hasn't been to his officein a long time. And when
he got there, he realized oneof his coworkers stole his plant. And
what his plan. He has agreen thumb. I do not I kill
everything. He makes everything grow. And he had a plant in his office

(00:47):
because it brings some joy. AsMarie Condra would say, it sparked joy.
And one of his co workers hesaw when he was walking through the
office had his plant on his desk. Did he confront that coworker. Of
course, why did he do that. We don't do conflict in our lives.
But he thought it was absolutely hystericalthat somebody not only had the audacity

(01:07):
to steal his plant, but toleave it on their desk, like take
it home, hide it from me. Say it died, don't leave it
out for me to see the nexttime I come. You know what's funny
is that a plant is noticeable, like that's you know, like there's one
thing to steal a stapler or youknow, steal sharpie markers or whatever it
is, because they all look thesame. You're still on somebody's plant,

(01:29):
Like, how do you steal somebody'splant? Do you think that this co
worker just thought Sean was never comingback because he hadn't been there in so
long and was like, it's upfor the it's up for scrabs, probably,
probably, And a little part ofme was like it probably was nice
when it was probably starting to die. Yeah, and like you were taking
care of it. That's kind. But if you see him start to come
back, do you put it backon his desk or yours? Now?
Yeah, you got to, yougot to bring it back. You got

(01:52):
almost like good at lunch. Whenhe's gone, you know, you own
it. You own it. It'syours now. Eight four four Mojo Live
eight four four sixty six five sixfive four eight. What is it in
the office that usually gets stolen? If you guys are in the office or
back in the day when you werein the office, And if you're the
steeler, will you call us upand admit to us. We even have
a voice, this guys er ifyou want or we won't ask you your

(02:13):
company. Remember the person that workedin traffic with Dorothy and Susan and those
guys. I can't remember what hername was. She was only here for
like literally a minute. She hadstaplers, but they were she like monogrammed
her stablers or something like. Shehad her initials on the staplers. Because

(02:34):
I would always send Ellen and godI think it was it might have been
Ellen and Lydia for gosh sake, back in the day, and I would
say, hey, can you finda stapler for me? They would find
it and they would go, hey, I need to take it right back
because she'll notice it. Now youlook at the stapler and it had her
initials on the whole deal. Andthen when she left, I'm taking my

(02:54):
stapler like office space. What's goingon, Jenny? How you doing?
I he saved the plant. Hejust have to give it back. You
shouldn't have to give it back andbe dead. Yeah, Sean, Sean,
her brother is a plant killer.Yeah, you gotta have somebody to
take care of that plant? What'sup? Is there a finder's keeper rule?

(03:16):
Then I think, so you leave, do I get to take it?
Because it'll go moldy in the refrigerator. Eating somebody else's food is bad,
weird? What's up? Or takingtheir waters out of their mini fridge?
Who does that? Yeah? Bythe way, that's what I'm gonna
start doing. I'm gonna start puttingmy name on our ice mountain waters in
the studio here. What's up,matt, Hey? I used to I

(03:38):
used to work in kitchens and Isteal sharpies, but I helped look for
them, so it makes you looklike you're not a thief. I like
that. What's going on, Adam? How you doing? Pretty good?
So? Hey, how y'all doing. I used to work at a hotel,
so a lot of stuff got stolen. But I once used a print

(03:59):
to still a new office chair.I wanted a chair, and I knew
if I took it they would realizedit was in my office, which was
not in the main chunk. SoI went in early and I switched everybody's
chairs with everybody else's. Oh,everybody was all morning going who got this
chair? About? Like some bigjoke, and it took them probably a
good two months before he realized anddid you get to keep it? No,

(04:21):
they kind of took it back fromit. But yeah, so that
was my excuse to try to stealthe office chair, and it kind of
worked for a while. For awhile, chairs used to become a really
big thing around here in the studios, and then eventually we got new chairs.
But the best was we would alwaysgive the bad chairs to the rock
station next door. I went outand bought a chair and then, like

(04:41):
toy story, wrote my name onthe bottom of it, so that when
somebody tried to steal it, Iwould be like, hey, is that
my chair? No, no,no, no, man, this is
this is from our studio. Isaid, just just let me check something
out real quick. Go and lookat the bottom. Mm it says Mike
Aguilar on the bottom. That's great. What's up, Jennifer? How are
you good? What's going on?Good? So real quick. I got

(05:03):
married in twenty nineteen, and youknow the most big like paper slicer things
where you can I needed it formy invitations, where you can put like
fifty of them off. We haveone here at once. Yeah, yeah,
well, I borrowed my works intwenty nineteen and it's still I haven't
brought it. I'm kind of holdingonto that thing. I might need it

(05:24):
again. You never know. Didthey ever wonder where it is? Did
they ever say anything? No?Actually, and I can't recall us ever
needing it at work, like Ihaven't used it in four years, so
that tells you something. But theyfinally locked up, so guilty the postage
from all of us, because fora while there we were able to do
postage and just mail whatever we wanted, like people would bring their bills in

(05:45):
and things like that and mail themoff. So they locked that up from
us, And then what was theirstory? One time I thought that was
the best was the guy that workedthere at the radio station who stole out
of the prize closet one of thetelevisions that we were given away and then
invited us over to his house andthe TV was in his house exactly.

(06:09):
Uh. And then the big onethat gets stolen in this studio all the
time. Anytime I'll bring a phonecharger in, it's always. Phone chargers
in my house are like this too. I feel like I'm buying one,
like one a month. Right now, where are they going? This is
my the way the funniest one,Jeremiah, what did you steal the driver's
dead car? I worked for driversat school, and after hours, of

(06:32):
course, my car would break down, like when my car was breaking down
for about a month and a half. So over the time that my car
was breaking down, I just Iwould go in. I knew where they
would store the keys, so ofcourse I would just go and use the
car, hurry up and make surethe car is back in the following morning.
I did that for about a goodthree and a half weeks before they

(06:53):
pound out. Oh jeez, Sowould you go on dates and pick girls
up in your driver's ed car thatsaid student driver. No, I would
leave their car, leave the carat whoever's house that I would go to.
Yeah, but no, I wastoo scared. No I did.
Honestly. I went to the gymone time and I had two of my
friends with me. And my friendsthey kept messing with the you know,

(07:16):
the passenger break. I'm like,oh my god, no, I can't
keep doing it. That's awesome.Thank you for the call, Buddy,
