Fernanda Botelho estudou plantas medicinais na Scottish School of Herbal Medicine, frequentou a sociedade Antroposófica e fez formações em Botânica, Fitoterapia e Pedagogia. A par disso é formada em pedagogia Montessori e Waldorf e desempenhou um papel preponderante no ensino sobre plantas e ecologia. É autora de várias publicações, tendo já tido participações na Rádio e na Televisão.
