Are you too open?

Operating more from outside influences (people’s expectations, society’s norms, cultural or religious practices?) or from your own Inner Guidance System?

When we “go with the flow” sometimes we are not checking in to see if it’s our Flow. Our own wisdom. Our own soul’s whispering of where our heart is desiring to go.

This is what I call Living Outside of Ourself. I know it well. It is how I spent the first 50 years of my life.

Even when I felt strongly about something and shared my view in a conversation or heated discussion, I could feel persuaded to move/shift/turn away from it by listening to another’s well-reasoned explanation or perspective.

It felt wishy-washy. I wasn’t sure where I stood sometimes. I could see the world through so many other’s eyes, I wasn’t confident in what I was really seeing.

Sometimes that is a good thing.

Anything at ALL times, is not a good thing.

I listened to all the gurus, teachers, experts, and wise ones and would shift and slip away from my own Truth.

This was good in some ways. Just not in ALL ways.

How do you determine what is right for you? Where you stand? What your Inner Wise One is saying versus when to listen and learn from others?

Where do you stand in Integrity? Wholeness? Self-Alignment?

That’s the topic today. Let’s see where this takes us…

As always, I welcome your comments, suggestions, questions and conversation.
