did want to make sure we toucheda little bit on some Medicare information.

So as we've talked about if youlisten to the show, it's Medicare season
as we've referred to it. Sowe call Medicare season the annual rollment period
which is October fifteenth through December seventh, and I can't even believe it,
but we are hearing up towards thefinal day. Is a Medicare season.
So if you have not taken timeto review your Medicare advantage plan or other

plans available as well as your prescriptiondrug plan. Be sure that you make
some time to do that so you'regonna want to meet with an independent Agent's
what we always recommend. If youneed to visit with Rob, we do

shortly. So between eight am andten am today, Happy Joe's has Breakfast
with Santa and that will be atthe Happy Joe's in the Claire. That

if you're looking for a five ksomething fun to do, haven't signed up

get into it. Some really awesomeoutfits I've seen in past year, so
be sure to check that out.If you're just even looking for something fun
to watch, there will be strollingSanta's available and other holiday characters throughout the
downtown. They have a few differenttime slots, so between ten and twelve
and then one in three you willbe able to catch a strolling Santa.

We always love stopping getting our picturetaken with Santa. I know last year
Kenley thought she really knew one ofthose Santa, so she was very excited.
It was the best, you know, probably first kid picture with Santa

second floor, there will be akid's craft workshop. Ten am to four

pm. Leclair Civic Center, therewill be a Watchmaster carver Luke Traverse creating
wood shoes, so he's down there. That's always a fun interesting event.
Let's see what else. Buffalo BillMuseum from ten am to four pm will
be open with a five dollars familyspecial, so it's five dollars for a
family and mission price that includes achildren's Christmas scavenger hunt throughout the museum and

children's coloring contest. Ten am tofive pm at the Masonic Lodge will be
a cookie sale, lunch and craftersso at the Civic Center at the LaClaire
Civic Center ten am to eight pmcraft silent auction and baked goods. They
also at the Civic Center have aSanta's Gift shop so the kids can go

in and buy some gifts for whoeverthey may like. And I believe you
get some like Santa Bucks or WorkshopBucks, and I believe those are no
cost and you can get those atthe civic Center. Grasshoppers gathering will have
a holiday craft show. There willbe over thirty vendors at the Grasshoppers where
the store used to be. Andthat's ten am to eight pm. Again

that Santa's Workshop Christmas and Leclare Dollars, a shop for family and friends is
going on. There are all daywell, eleven am to five pm free
trolley rides. They have five designatedstops throughout the downtown, pickup in Mindfire's
parking lot, so they will bedriving. That's such a fun little activity
done in a few times. Reallyenjoy those free trolley rides. Glad they

brought them back. From twelve pmto two two pm there will be photos
with Santa on the levee near theFreedom Rock, So bring your kids down
and get some photos with Santa takendown on the levee near the Freedom Rock.
One pm to four pm at theCivic Center there will be a balloon
artist available and at five thirty pmtonight will be the second annual Light Up

Laclaiir Christmas Parade, presented by LeclairParks and rec. The parade will travel
along Wisconsin Street, which is kindof the main drag up and down the
town, so if you're around it'sreally amazing to see what these people come
up with and what they're able todo with the lights and decorating. Tomorrow,

there's lots of activity still going on, so if you're busy today can't
get out, be sure to comecheck out Leclair tomorrow. At the Lodge
thatie, the Masonic Lodge, thecookie sailing crafters will be there from ten
am to three pm twelve pm tofour pm LaClair Civic Center, those craft
bake goods and the silent auction itemswill still be going on. The bidding
will close at two pm for thesilent auction items from twelve pm to four

pm. Those free trolley rides againwill be going on with those five designated
stops throughout downtown and the main pickupis at Mindfire's parking lot and the Civic

the meantime, again, Medicare season, so that is wrapping up here next

week December seventh. Rob still hassome time available. It is an important
year to check your plans, makesure that you're getting the biggest bang for
your buck. There are some plansthat came out with some better goodie packages.
So if you are needing to relookat your prescription drug plan, your
PDP or your Part D plan,or you'll have a Medicare advantage plan and

you want to make sure you're gettingthe best goodie package, make a phone
call, get an appointment. Doesn'ttake very long, and there are some
great benefits. Again, I knowRob's talked about it on a couple previous
shows. There is one program thatdepending on which plane you go with.
There are six hundred or twelve hundreddollars in rebates for things like golf,
tea times, things that keep youactive, so camping registration fees, all

kinds of crazy things that you wouldn'tthink of. Fishing poles you can get
reimbursed for up to those dollar limits. So again, there are some great
benefits available in some of these Medicareadvantage plans, but outside of the benefits,
again, it's important to rerun yourmedication list to make sure that your
drugs didn't change tiers on your currentplans, or you couldn't be getting some
big savings on your overall yearly outof pocket costs, whether that's the premium

cost or the cost of drugs,or the combination of both. In Iowa
and Illinois, there are some veryvery low part D prescription drug programs available,
a zero dollar program in Illinois anda fifty cent per month program available
in Iowa. So again, ifyou have minimal or no drugs and you're

just carrying that so you don't geta penalty, make sure that you get
signed up for the program that's gonnacost you the least out of pocket.
Again, it doesn't take very longto get your information together, to run
the prescriptions through and see who's goingto save you the most throughout the year.
Or again, if you are missingout on some benefits on your Medicare

advantage plan, now is the timeto sign up and switch. There's nothing
worse than missing the window and gettingstuck or not realizing something changed on your
plan. Now is the time todo the review and make those changes.
So again, we have through Decemberseventh for Medicare season. If you need

are still just going up and upand up. Restrictions are getting harder,

harder, harder, tougher to movein place policies elsewhere, however, take
the time to do it. There'sn I'm happy to run quotes. We're
happy to see what's available. Ifyou have a minimal increase, it is
probably most likely that You're gonna staywhere you are, but there may be
an opportunity for some savings if yousee some of those higher increases I've had
in customers with five six, sevenhundred dollars annual increases, I've been able

to, you know, maybe notsave them a hundred percent of that,
but save them a good chunk ofthat by getting them switched. Also,
I am noticing sometimes and currently rightnow, breaking that auto and home up
may be the best option for you. There's a carrier that we have access
to that doesn't write homes, butis G has some good rates on auto,

so it may be worth taking alook and seeing if there isn't a
better, a money save opportunity tounbundle those bundled packages. Again, we
can look at it every which way, and we are happy to do so.

something better, maybe even just morecoverage for the same price, or you
know, hopefully save some premium.The other thing I will say and want
you guys to keep in mind,I've ran into a situation a couple of
times. Due to some of thechanges and restrictions careers are putting in place,
they may be requiring much higher downpayments than we are accustomed to or

used to. With that being said, they may overall be saving you money.
So you may need to consider orlook at some options. And I've
done it with a couple of mycustomers where we were able to find overall,
you know, nine hundred dollars insavings. However, that first month
initial payment was going to be alittle bit more than what they were currently
paying. We were able to youknow, hold off, push it back,

(21:00):
let them get the funds together,make the switch, and then overall
their payments are going to be youknow, two hundred dollars roughly less per
month after that initial little bit higherdown payment. So there are some opportunities
there if you look at overall savings. It may not feel like it that
first month when you make that bigpayment, but there may be some opportunity
for savings. So crunch the numbers, or let me crunch them for you.
