In this episode, I shared the story, history and legacy of the 1965 New Orleans-based band, "The Meters". The Meters were very influential in creating the genre of "Funk Music". They inspired Funk Legends such as James Brown, Sly Stone, Parliment Funkadelic and Cameo. I took one of their biggest hit singles, "Sophisticated Cissy" and I created and "Aarona Remake" called "Jesus Be A Fence". The beat is SO COOL and SO FUNKY it's the perfect theme song for anybody, especially somebody as great as Jesus. Check it out!
