about the Internet. So I'm justso incredibly grateful. And I also wanted

(00:50):
have not been posting on things onthe Patreon. I've been really behind on
that, and I apologize for that. I've just been not feeling very good
lately, but hopefully, like crossingour fingers that this feeling not great is
going to be a stepping stone towardslike feeling amazing and great news. So
(01:21):
again, like, I apologize fornot having some content on there, but
for anybody who has paid for thispast month, like there's going to be
so many things this upcoming month andto try and make up for it.
And yeah, I just am sograteful and so excited for you guys to

(02:34):
Okay, back to our questions. Are you good at remembering birthdays?
Absolutely not. I have a few, Like I know my sisters. You
know, that's about it. Imind, I know mine. Oh that's
good. Yeah, yep, that'ssomething. Yeah. But otherwise if it's
(02:55):
not in my calendar, I don't. I don't remember. So how you
so? Like? Growing up,my mom was kind of the person because
she's the eldest of five, shewas kind of the person that kept track
of when everybody's birthday was so thatshe could call I'm on the birthday or
(03:15):
plan a birthday party or you know. She was that person. Right.
So, because my mom was thatperson, she had literally this book which
she probably still has, that shemade because she used to do like card
crafting and things like that. Andso she made this little like flip book
flip calendar that had the numbered days, not by like Friday, Saturday,
(03:42):
Sunday, whatever. It just hadthe numbers and it had the month,
and then it would have on eachday whose birthday was in that month,
So no matter if the fourth wason a Tuesday or whatever, she would
remember, Okay, that's this person'sbirthday. And so then she'd had it
there, and then she'd fill itin on the on the calendar by the
(04:04):
garage door in the kitchen, andshe'd fill it all in there too,
so she could be like, Okay, this person's birthday is on the tenth.
I'm going to write that on Saturdaythe tenth so that I remember that's
when it is. So my momwas very organized with birthdays when it came
to that. So I know everysingle one of my cousin's birthdays, which
were very much like siblings to me, and it's burned in my head,
(04:29):
like burned into my cerebellum. Andwhen I think about when I meet other
people and I find out their birthdays, it sticks in my head too.
The issue I have is remembering whatthe day of today is. And that's
why I forget birthdays. Not becauseI forgot when your birthday is, but
(04:49):
because I forgot that July fifth wastoday. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
So that's why I forget birthdays it'sjust that reason. But I know that
July first was my cousin Olivia's birthday. I remember that March tenth is her
(05:13):
brother's, her brother Gabe's birthday.Like I could go throughout everybody's birthday and
my entire family like immediate family suppressive. I don't remember your birthday. I
think it's is it? No?Is it the same as great Grandma Kavner's
(05:33):
birthday? Nope? Mine is Decembertwenty nine? Is it really? Oh?
My mom did not write your birthdaydown? You should for that.
For that, mine was always likehidden between the Christmas New Year's sandwich.
(05:53):
Hmm yeah yeah, mine was rightbefore Christmas. What's yours again? Twenty
second? Too? Love that?So your Capricorn too, Yeah? Yeah,
well I'm on like the cusp.Yeah, I'm like Sagittarius. Capricorn
were a little more You're a littlemore interesting. I'm a little more Sagittarius.
(06:14):
Yeah, Capricorn makes total sense foryou, just a stubborn goat.
Yeah yeah, um yeah, Sobirthday is like once I know it,
like now, I'm I don't thinkI'll ever forget your birthday now? Yeah,
you won't. I won't. ButDecember thirtieth is going to come around,
(06:35):
and I'm gonna be like, liketalking to you normal, and you're
gonna be like, yeah, that'sthe thirtieth, and I'll be like,
oh my gosh, it's your birthday, well yesterday. Does it mean that
I forgot your birthday? I forgotthe day? Yeah, totally, I'm
down with that. Um okay, were there other names that were considered when
(07:00):
naming you? Just one of theirname Gregory Gregory? Yeah, and I'm
so glad I didn't get that name. So glad you didn't get named that
either, because like, especially afterSuccession came out, you know, and
there was like greg and the waythat they played that up. I don't
want to be cousin Gregg. Idon't want to be Gregory. Although I
greg is such a weird Oh that'ssuch a weird a weird name, but
(07:26):
you know, um, yeah,Nicholas Braun is an amazing actor. But
other than that, Yeah, Idon't want to be cousin greg What about
you? Um? I don't knowif there were other like girl names considered.
My mom has only ever told mebecause she didn't know what I was.
(07:46):
Uh, if I was a boyor girl until I was born because
she wanted to be surprised. Um. But I remember her telling me that
if I was going to be aboy, that she was going to name
me Jacob Ross and then she wasgoing to call me Junior Jr. No,
(08:07):
I would have been fine with thename Jacob. I feel like Jacob
is a good name. But RossRoss, Yeah, no, thank you.
Yeah, worst character of friends. That's funny. That's funny. Um.
But uh yeah, she's only evertold me that, and she she
(08:28):
said that she was pretty sure aboutif I was a girl, that I
was going to be named Mariah. So I don't think there were really any
other contenders for other names because shejust loved Maria carry so much. Have
you ever been in a fist fight? Well, when I was twelve,
I decided it was a good ideato pop off to a guy who was
(08:48):
like seventeen years old, and heknocked me out with one punch. Gosh,
I don't think you could call thata fist fight, but that was
a challenge and accepted. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I thought it was
I was like too big for mybridges. I was like, oh,
I'm gonna tell you what's up.And the next thing I knew I was
looking up at this guy. Ohyeah. But there's been a couple of
(09:13):
times when uh, when um,I've been like somebody's tried to like mug
me. There's been a couple oftimes at that. But I remember one
time. Um. It was likea year after I had been like mugged
and I had very uh willingly givenup my wallet because I was too scared.
(09:35):
I was very young. Um.But then a year later I had
this cool I had the coolest Batmanwallet and I was so happy about it,
so proud of it, and thisperson tried to mug me um and
tried to take my wallet, andI was like, I'll give you whatever
money I have, but I'm notgiving you this wallet. And the guy
was like, no, you're gonnajust give me the wallet. You're wasting
(09:56):
time. And he didn't. Heobviously did and have like a gun or
anything like I say, obviously, but I didn't know that at the time.
But I was like, I'm notgetting in this wallet. This is
a sick, sick ass Batman awallet, Like there's no way, Like
I don't know who I thought Iwas, but I thought that he was
(10:18):
gonna try and punch me. Idon't think that's what he was going to
do, but I just reacted instinctivelyand I punched him and then I ran.
So I don't think that counts asa fist fight really either. But
it's the one time that I likepunch somebody and dipped. Another time,
(10:39):
somebody punched me in the stomach onthe playground because I said something super dramatic
about like how I I don't know. I think I just read Romeo and
Juliet or something, and I wasjust like, oh, then, like
if if I can't do this, then I'm just not going to live anymore,
not realizing the seriousness of what Iwas saying. And my friend was
(11:01):
so upset with me that she punchedme in the stomach and walked away from
me. And this friend of mine, like I was pretty tall for my
age when I was when I wasgrowing up, but she was like six
foot two in the sixth grade, like she was a tall girl, and
(11:22):
she sucked me in the stomach andI fell to the ground, and my
other friend came over and what wasthat about? And I was like,
oh no, and I couldn't evenbreathe, like it was so bad,
and I couldn't tell. I didn'twant to tell a teacher or anything because
I didn't want to get her introuble because she was my friend. And
so I just like grinned and baredit, but then got like nothing.
(11:45):
She had injured me necessarily, Ihad a bad bruise on my stomach,
but like, oh my gosh,so I've either punched and nobody punched me,
or somebody punched me and I didn'tdo anything. So I guess you
can't call this fist fights. No, those aren't fast fights. But yeah,
yeah, wow. Um let's see, would you mind if your best
(12:09):
friend and your ex started dating likehypothetically or real xs, like like like
if you could think, like thinkof an X that you have that you
dated for I guess you could saymore than a year. Yeah, and
they decided to date what you wouldconsider your best friend. That might take
(12:31):
some getting used to. Yeah,I don't know. I don't know if
I would be okay with that.Yeah, I mean I would have to
be. But yeah, you,um, absolutely not okay, You're clear,
not at all. My thing isis if I the funny thing about
(12:52):
it is is that my best friendis either member of the church Mallard or
a very gay Sam. Those aremy two best friends. So if Mallory,
for some crazy reason decided to datesomebody that I had dated before,
(13:16):
even if it was just like aperson that I had slept with, like
I think I would lose it,not on her necessarily, but just like
I wouldn't be able to believe it, like it would be so shocking.
And also I would be like, there's a reason that me and that person
(13:37):
broke up. And most of thebreakups that I've had have not been necessarily
cordial. So no, absolutely not. And if any of my ex is
dated Sam, the only issue Iwould have with it is that I would
assume that they're not good enough forSam. So that's why I would have
(13:58):
an issue. I'd be like, why on earth would you date that person
that's wrong with you? Yeah,I think there's only one. I think
there's only one X that I havethat I um, I'm on good terms
with, you know, And eventhen I would be able to have them
(14:22):
date my best friends, no way, or family for that matter. Let's
see, have you ever been afraidof the dark? No, how about
you? I don't think I wasafraid of the dark. I remember when
(14:43):
I was younger, like when itwould be bedtime, because it's always taken
me so long to fall asleep thatI would just lay in my bed trying
to go to sleep. It's superdark, and I would look around my
room and piles of clothes on theground would start to like a monster or
like a snake or something like, and in my head I'd be like,
(15:05):
there's no way that's a snake.And then I would be like, but
what if it is? But whatif it is? Because then what what
do I do? And so I'dhave a couple times where I'd be like,
Okay, I'm gonna get up andgo to the bathroom and I'm gonna
kick it, just make sure it'snot a snake. And I'd kick a
pile of laundry and be like, okay, I was just laundry. We're
(15:26):
good, and I'd go to thebathroom and come back and go to bed.
So it wasn't really darkness so muchas like maybe something is in the
dark. I guess, Okay,yeah, that's different. I suppose yeah,
okay, So not if not thedark, then what are you most
(15:48):
afraid of? Definitely I think thatthe scariest idea is losing your mind.
M I mean like just dementia ingeneral, or you mean likeemer's any any
any sort of mind any faculties, right, like dementia, Alzheimer's, like
(16:11):
hallucinations, like you know anything thatsort of like is the deterioration of your
mind. M h yeah, thatdefinitely, that definitely scares me the most.
M Oh. I think, man, I might have to find that
(16:32):
book because I think I wrote downwhat my uh, what scares me the
most, and I feel like itwas really good, like it was really
profound. I don't really know wherethat book is right now because I wrote
down the questions on my phone.Um, but like I know, for
a really long time, the thingthat scared me the most wash was some
(16:55):
variation of losing the people that Icare about the most and not being able
to save the people that I careabout the most, as if like there
was something, if there was somethingthat I could do and something prevented me
from doing it to help them,to save them, and they were lost.
(17:18):
That scared me the most because itwould mean that it was in some
way, in my mind, myfault, and that was too much to
bear with not only not having themanymore, but also that it was in
some way my fault. That freakedme out. I know, for a
really long time, I had ahard, like an issue with suicide,
(17:45):
like the idea of somebody that Icare about having suicidal ideation and telling me
about it and me not saying theright thing and then they're gone, like
like I didn't give them the toolsthat they needed or reassurance that they might
have needed, or gotten them thehelp that they might have needed. And
(18:10):
you know, because I feel likewith stuff like that, it's kind of
like a guessing game because there's certainsituations where they'll talk to you about it
maybe and you say, oh,like let's talk about that a little bit,
and you have a conversation and everything'sfine. But there could be situations
where it's dire enough that like youneed to get you need to ask for
(18:30):
outset help, you need to takethem to the hospital to have them committed
because you're concerned about their safety. And I always worry that I do that
for that friend or that person, and they're going to be really upset with
me because I blew things out ofproportion, you know. Yeah, And
so it's like finding the right line. So I'm always worried with that of
(18:53):
making the wrong choice, of takingthe wrong step. And so I think
that's a big reason too why Istarted working in mental health field and things,
so that I could learn about thestuff literally just for my personal friendships
and relationships to be able to helpthose people at those things. I love
(19:15):
that. Um. It's powerful thatyou care about those issues and you think
about it that deeply. Yeah, thank you, um. And I am
also, like, on a lighternote, I'm very, very very very
scared of birds. M Okay, owls freaky. They're so creepy, creepy
(19:42):
weird ducks. Geese are so mean. Have you ever seen a geese like
attack somebody? That's gruesome? Birdsare just mean. I I don't think
that birds have our best interest atheart, and I think that they conspire
against us. I really do believethat. And I think a lot of
(20:03):
the birds that are like in thesky, they're not real. Have you
seen those? You're hilarious, Getout, No, I'm serious. Have
you seen those? Yes, that'slike a whole thing. I think it's
funny, But also it feeds intothe idea that birds are terrible and horrible
and scary. Uh. Anyway,UM, let's see what's the screen usage
(20:32):
on your phone? Do you knowhow to look that up? The screen
usage? Do you know how tolook that up? No? All right,
I'm gonna teach everybody right here, right now. You go on your
phone, you go to settings, and you scroll down and there's like notifications,
sounds, and haptics on like iPhones, and then in their screen time
(20:53):
after focus, click on screen timeand it should tell you your daily average
or this past week. So scrollback a week. Let's see. See'all
activity. You can go week byweek instead of day by day, and
you can go, let's see,Yeah, you can scroll back a week.
(21:21):
Oh, this is good to knowand terrifying to look at. I'll
tell you mine, which I'm gonnamake this very clear that I am a
person who works from home for thispodcast, and I do a lot of
podcast things on my phone, whichdoes not mean that a lot of this
is not TikTok. But I wantto make that clear. When I worked
(21:45):
at a place of like an actualplace where I wasn't on my phone all
the time, it did not saythis. So do not compare yourself to
me. If you work at ajob, but last week's average was five
hours and fifty four minutes a day. Okay, are you vigilant about closing
(22:06):
windows when you're done, because I'mnoticing that it's actually counting time for apps
that I never use but that Ikeep open on my phone. I think
it's supposed to keep up with whenyou like when your phone screen is turned
off, that's when it's cut off. So I'm pretty sure that that's what
(22:27):
it is. But like, ifyou open your phone and you're scrolling on
Instagram, but you have other stuffopen in other windows, it's counting the
hours for that. I think youthink, so I don't know. I'm
going to start playing. Okay, well, this is saying on my daily
average on my phone is eight hours. I would believe that, but I'm
(22:48):
on my computer for more than that, so there's no way I'm on my
phone for eight hours, you knowwhat I mean? Do you ever leave
your phone open on your table whenyou're doing other things sometimes? But I
minded it could be like yeah, maybe, but my phone automatically locks after
five minutes. So like if Ilook at I think this is over the
(23:08):
week. Yeah, just inspired me. I'm going to close all windows always
now. So if I look atmine for a last week, it says
that I was on kindle the kindlelapp the most, and that was ten
hours and twenty three minutes last week. And I one hundred percent believe that
because I read two books last weekon my kindle and then TikTok eight hours
(23:33):
and thirty eight minutes for the week. I also believe that because I use
TikTok as a tool to go tobed. So I'm usually on TikTok for
about an hour and a half totwo hours before I go to sleep,
and when I wake up for likefifteen to twenty minutes maybe messages. I'm
on messages a lot because I've beentexting quite a bit between different people.
(23:59):
And the next one is YouTube, which is I watch a lot of YouTube
too. I use YouTube for likelooking at I kind of use YouTube for
like my news and stuff like Iwatch people who will, like you know,
talk about like highlighted things that havehappened in the week and stuff like
that. So I use YouTube aslike my TV kind of It's I don't
(24:22):
really have TV, and I thinkthat these things would be much higher if
I didn't have a laptop because Ido spend a lot of time on my
laptop doing these sorts of things,So all of this makes sense to me.
It's amazing. And it says onhere too. When you look it
(24:42):
up on your phone, it'll saylast it'll say this is the week average
or whatever, and it'll usually tellyou it's this amount up or down from
your last week. So last week'saverage for me was thirty five percent down
from the week before. I usuallyread this and look at it to tell
(25:03):
me how depressed I was during aweek, because if my phone time is
very high, like above, Iwould say above six hours a week,
then I was pretty sad and prettylonely that week. Like this week is
(25:23):
at three hours and thirty six minutesas an average, and it's only Wednesday,
so and TikTok is the most becauseI haven't read any books on my
phone this week, so that makessense. But I had to ask because
I watched this video of there's thesetwo drag queens that I watch all the
(25:49):
time because they're so funny. They'reso funny, and they looked up their
like screen time or whatever, andone of them was like, I'm not
going to tell I'm not going totell a single soul this ever. I'm
not going to say it. I'mhere, I'm not going to tell anybody
else because this is the most embarrassingthing in my life right now. And
I have a lot of things inmy life that are embarrassing to talk about.
(26:12):
And the other person was like,oh, just tell me, Like
I won't say anything, just tellme, and they're like, no,
no, because then that will bethat'll be the end of our friendship if
you break that. And it wasjust so funny. And I thought about
it and I was like, isthat embarrassing like my screen time? Like
I think it makes sense since I, you know, don't really have a
(26:32):
job or anything. And I doa lot of my writing on my phone.
If I think of something to write, like a poem or something,
I'll go on my phone. IfI don't have my laptop right next to
me, I'll watch TV on myphone. Like I do a lot of
things on my phone. So Ilove the idea that you brought to the
table today, and I loved doingthis. This was fun. Yeah.
(26:53):
I like how there were like seriousquestions, more thought provoking kind of questions,
and also like silly ones totally, totally, Yeah, what's wait?
I definitely think you gotta start conversationson social media with these questions are such
good ones. Yeah, that bookhas got I think that was only like
(27:18):
maybe four pages out of this bookof like maybe like eight hundred pages.
Ah. Yeah, it's really indepth and in detail. And I remember
doing this with Sam. I rememberwe got them like I don't know,
like ten years ago or something andstarted to fill them out and stuff.
And I don't know where that onewent, that book that I had before
(27:41):
where I filled out with Sam.I have no idea where that one went
or how where it ended up inmy constant moves since ten years ago.
But I went to Branson Noble andI saw the book and I was like,
I'm gonna buy this again, andI gonna fill it out as an
adult, like seriously, And I'vetried to fill out it much as I
can. But sometimes when I ask, like your top ten favorite celebrities,
(28:06):
I'm like, I don't know,Like who do I like right now?
Is really the question? And Ihave to really think about it. And
that change is so often like there'sso many things that you learn about celebrities
or your heroes that you know, totally take them apart, take them down
for you, and you know, you learn new things about people you didn't
really care about before that are like, oh, wow, she donates to
(28:30):
this cause that I really care about. Okay, Okay, I see you.
I see you. So some ofthe things in there. It changes
with time, obviously, but Ido like asking these questions about myself,
learning more about myself. Yeah,I really enjoyed it. I learned a
(28:52):
lot about you actually in that hour. Yeah, well, what since people
are potentially listening to us for thefirst time, how can this st engaged?
There's all sorts of ways. Wehave a website that has kind of
