The Trump property fire sale is on hold for now. He has paid his $175 million bond in his New York civil fraud case, but not with his own cash. Now, he can appeal without NY Attorney General Letitia James taking action against his properties. Trump’s bond is underwritten by California based Knight Specialty Insurance. It’s unknown what collateral Trump used to get the bond. Pulitzer Prize winning author and journalist David Cay Johnston will be in to discuss that plus the expanded gag order Trump is now under.
