Speaker 1 (00:10):
Broadcasting live from the Abraham Lincoln Radio Studio, the George
Washington Broadcast Center, Jack Armstrong and Joe Getty Armstrong and
Getty and Key Armstrong and Getty live from Studio C

(00:32):
see Senior, a dim lay lit room deeper than the
bowels of the Armstrong and Getty Communications Compound. How did
it already get to be Thursday? And today we're under
the tutelage of our general manager. Basketball Hall of Famer
Allen Iverson is our I'm sorry, the control room is
what's that now?

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (00:52):
AI stands for Artificial intelligence AI.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Wait a second, you're bringing up AI. I can't help it.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Awesome, it's about to sweep over us. It's we're gonna say.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
I long for the days at twenty twenty four when
everything was so calm and normal. Ah. I can't get
enough of AI stories. I think it's going to be
every bit as huge as you just said, and people
are predicting and I would rather be on the front
end of knowing about it than not. But anyway, yeah,
we can talk about them more later. Obviously, it's not
hard to get me started. Big finish, here we go.

(01:33):
Here's the only question about Nikki Haley, Well, first of all,
are we children? Are we children? Are we grown ups?
Are we supposed to act surprised that politicians say bad
things about them and then come around to support them later?

Speaker 3 (01:49):
I mean, have this? Is this your first go round?
I mean, come on, if it is.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Welcome, welcome to adulthood. Yeah, yeah, exactly. If you're like
twenty two and this is your first presidential game, you followed.
This happens all the time. People say horrifying things about
each other, and then when one person wins, then they
all come together. It's as common as common can be. Fine,
The question is is there any chance she could be

(02:14):
the vice president on the ticket? I don't think there is.
I don't think she could. Too strong a presence, Yo.
You you think that's the reason she's too big a personality.
Uh yeah, Although she did work with Trump as the
UN ambassador, but she had a fair amount of uh
you know, independence there. I think it's unlikely. Uh you know,

(02:38):
I wouldn't rule it out. I suppose. I just I
don't think she can do it. I don't think she
could uh gloss over or find a way to explain
away the many things Trump will do in the time
between being named vice president and the election, or it's

(03:01):
a hell of a gig, no doubt, or throughout the
first term if if Trump wins. I just I don't
think she's committed enough. Like Bergham can do it. I
think Marco Rubio can do it. I think a lot
of you know, obviously a Jade Vance can do it,
but I don't. I don't think Nikki Haley could do it.
Getting back to the question of the statement she made,
and we'll play the actual audio saying that she would

(03:23):
vote for Trump though he is a flawed candidate. I
thought what she said was absolutely true. I mean, Trump's
flawed candidate. Biden's a disaster, right, you got to pick
one of the two. It's like she's quoting Bill Barr
and many other folks. That's exactly where I am. I
don't I don't think it's crazy at all. You've got
to pick one of the two. So all right, some

(03:46):
people claim that it's not a binary choice. You can
vote third partying rum. Okay, you can do that, but
you're not choosing a president then, because one of those
two are going to be president. Russian roulette or national suicide. Yeah, exactly, anyway,
I didn't find it that shocking. She didn't endorse, though
she said she will vote for, but she didn't endorse.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Will she indorse?

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Whatever? A point of order? Shut up? Personal point of order,
mister chairman, shut up?

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Does that move a single person's vote?

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Oh? Please stop wasting my time? Yeah? I agree. Oh,
speaking of which, are you at all familiar with the
attempt at getting a scandal going for justice? Alito the
whole flag saying, well, it's working pretty well on one
side of the aisle. Oh, yeah, it is. It is hilarious.

(04:40):
I had decided to ignore it completely because it's so stupid.
But okay, all right, it's still going on. I will
take it on with both of my powerful rhetorical fists. Okay,
So if you're into it or you haven't heard about it,
we'll jump into that a little bit later. Was one
of the justices of the Supreme Court flying the flag
upside down right after January sixth in.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Support of the erectionists.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
Is that what?

Speaker 3 (05:10):
Yes, that's correct, sir, voting your president.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
Yes. So we'll get into that story later. Did you
know I just read this yesterday? Stupid political world we inhabit. Yes,
I just read this yesterday. We're we're we're living through
the longest presidential election in US history. And they were
too long before this. Great Britain's about to have an election,
their entire election, the whole thing, from candidates announcing, to

(05:38):
picking the candidates, to voting for him to putting, the
whole thing will be a month long. You know, maybe uh,
George Washington was a little hasty. Maybe the Prince you know,
I got certain things on the ball pretty good. Maybe
a I don't know, ripprochmant here it's too late to reconcile.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
How did we How did we what?

Speaker 1 (06:02):
I know? I know, how does that happen? Because that
would be fine? Then, you know, everybody really gets into it,
really pays attention. You actually read some policy stuff, you know,
may you actually go to a speech. Maybe you really
get into it. You know what you're doing. You choose
it's over as opposed to this whole deal, right, and

(06:23):
the billions of dollars that'll be spread, right, Well, maybe
that's one of the reasons that it lasts so long.
There's a lot of money to be made well, and
trillions of dollars to be to be reaped after you
invest those billions, which is why people invest billions. Let's
start the show officially before we get in trouble with
the FCC. I'm Jack Armstrong. He's Joe Getty on this
at is Thursday, May the twenty third. Your twenty twenty

(06:45):
four life will not be a boor in twenty four
and that is so true. So far we are armstrong
in getting we approve of this program. Here comes the
official beginning of the show that according to FCC rules, Reggs,
here we go at Mark.

Speaker 4 (06:56):
I think, well, the reality is I think bost candidates
are trash. So i'm because I'm but i am going
to vote in November, and I'm going to vote my
best interest and I'm going to vote who I think,
you know can preserve democracy.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Whodette that is radio personality, Charlemagne the God blasphemous. I
think the View. I don't know what crime he committed
that he was punished by going on the View, but
he was talking about his political innings. There have been
a couple of prominent black folks from the world of entertainment,

(07:31):
to the media, etc. Who have said, no, I'm not
knee Jerry voting Democrat anymore. I think that is a
tip of an iceberg or the bow of a vote,
or the early something or other. That trend is about
to grow a lot. In my opinion, It's interesting. He
could have gone the opposite of Nicki Haley and it

(07:52):
would have been just as justifiable for him to say, Look,
I got a lot of problems with Joe Biden. He's
too old. He did this, he did that. But he's
not trying so im But he says, no, they're both trash,
all right. He's an influential guy from what I read
in the black community. I don't actually know that, speaking
of I don't know why you said this.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
That spurred it in my mind. So the Hunter Biden trial.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Is going to be going on in June, just like
days before the first presidential election, and a couple of
trials actually debate you mean before the debate What did
I say? Election? Yeah, debate, And in at least one
of the Hunter Biden trials, he's got to face all
the baby mamas, or at least all the women in
his life are going to be there in the courtroom.

(08:36):
How incredibly uncomfortable would that be? His first wife who
he stole from and cheated on. Then his deceased brother's
wife who he then hooked up with and stole from
and cheated on. And then the baby mama from Oklahoma
who he pretended it didn't happen and tried to screw
her out of any money for her kid. All three

(09:00):
going to be in the courtroom with him sitting right there.
Oh my god, how would you like that? Of course,
don't live that kind of life. You can avoid it.
But it's got a bit of a feel of a
judgment day thing, doesn't it. There you are at the
Pearly Gates, Saint Peter's all right, you sit down. Then
it's all around and take long Yeah, no kidding, Oh

(09:21):
my god, that would be something. But again, you know,
don't live that kind of lifestyle and you don't have
to do it. They're probably no more excited to face
him than he is to see tom Me there. But
it's all around the gun charge and him claiming he
wasn't a drug addict, and he got all three of
those women too conclaim Oh yeah, he was full on.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
A drug addict the entire time we were together.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
He has got to be thinking, I've got expensive lawyers.
We are going to try to get a mistrial or
a hung jury or or something, because he's I mean,
he's as guilty as anybody's ever been guilty of any
crime ever committed. Yeah, everybody knows he He is universally
recognized as a drug dealer, a addict. Rather at that time,
it seems a first even hold of trial. Did you

(10:04):
see that the Biden Justice Department late to the party
confirmed that the Hunter laptop is authentic. Yesterday I had
heard it. There's all the earmarks of a Russian information campaign.
So the even the Biden Justice Department as now it's
the last domino to fall in confirming that yet that
is Hunter Biden's laptop. That is real stuff, really emails,

(10:28):
real videos. All that now, Hunter Biden said in the
video where he is supposedly smoking a crack pipe, he
said yesterday, that is not a crack pipe. He said,
it's a meth pipe. Oh oh, I'm sorry what. I'm
not sure most of us get the difference there. Maybe
there's a difference in your world. I don't know, is

(10:50):
crack worse than meth for druggies or the other way around,
or I don't know what's the difference. Here's a drug addict,
either is there a hierarchy of like, oh, you smoke math?
I know I'm a crack I'm I'm I'll smoke meth
with you. But crack is for losers? Come on now,
is it? Is it like your whole status thing between
Target and Walmart? Yeah? Exactly, so finicky about crack? How

(11:15):
dare you, sir? How dare you? This is math? How
does mail bag look? Oh? It's a work art ought
to be hanging in a museum. I would glue myself
to it and protest of climate change. It's on the way.
Text line is four one five two nine five k
f TC. I'm glad you want to talk about AI.

(11:41):
I look forward to that. Also the New York Times.

Speaker 5 (11:44):
With a hy hit piece on RFK Junior's running mate,
that super rich, hotty Silicon Valley chick, Yeah, about her
sex life and drug use.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
For some reason, I wanted to drag her down. Where
Carl Rove, the brain behind George W. Bush, put out
a big thing yesterday explaining how RFK Junior could get
Biden elected because he takes so many votes for Trump.
So who knows which way Brynn and RFK Jr do

(12:20):
the more damage. But this hit piece on her personal
life is wild. We'll read some of that later, you know,
all right, I won't get into it now, but there's
a lot of ground to cover between now and November two.
I mean, was she would like, all right, I won't
get into it. I said I wouldn't and not wont Well,

(12:42):
you know some of the stories her sleeping with Elon
Musk and whether or not Elon because he's friends Elon's
friends with her husband and blah blah blah. We've talked
about that before. I think before anybody knew who she
was then it was just about Elon. Yeah, yeah, okay,
fair enough reason for hope. Portland, the leftiest of the lefties, yes,

(13:03):
the most degenerate of the degenerates, and TIFA running wild
for hundreds of nights in a row, has said to
their soft on crime George Soros, Marxist, da get the
hell out of here. Do we have that clip, Michael Trump.
They're voting out their soft on crime prosecutors. Fantastic news.
One of the great cities in America, well, formerly one

(13:24):
of the great cities in America. Yeah, And some of
the quotes from the new people in charge in Portland
are fantastic freedom loving quote of the day. Right here.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
Quote.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
We simply cannot allow people to pour into the US undetected, undocumented, unchecked,
and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently,
and lawfully to become immigrants to this country, Barack Obama,
two thousand and eight. Because it's self freaking evident, no
matter which side of the Isle of Iran, there is

(13:59):
nothing in that sentence that is even conceivably under the
sun worth arguing about. Right, Well, that was back when, true,
like the Barack Obama quotes you had yesterday about black
men being successful in the United States. I was back
when you could say things like that. But you can't anymore. Well,
we can, and we will stay tuned. Here's your mail bag. Huh,

(14:21):
you keep us a road for office because you can't
show any sympathy whatsoever for the other side's argument on
the Democratic side. Yeah, absolutely true. Yeah, drop us a
note mail excuse me, mail bag at Armstrong you geddy
dot com.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
Let's see on the topic of.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
Trial movies, guys, Actually, professors do teach my cousin Vinnie
at law school recently. It's a depiction of the courtroom.
That's actually very accurate, especially in the sense that Vinnie
passed the bar but hasn't worked at a firm, which,
as he says, is where you learn how the courtroom
works as opposed to what the law is. I read
one law professor her review, which points out that there

(15:02):
is no villain in this movie. No one is corrupt,
no one is railroading the youths. Everyone is honestly and
trying their best, and in good faith trying their best.
But those guys are still nearly found guilty. He seemed
to think that was a pretty important point too. So
you posed the question, what's the best movie about a courtroom?

(15:22):
And you, I think, jokingly said my cousin Vineo. But
people say they actually teach it in law school. I
saw in the theater. I don't have any memory of it.
Maybe I should watch it again. Oh, it's a great movie.
It's hilarious and charming. And I remember a hot, hot
young Marissa Tomain. That's what I remember. That is an
accurate memory. Moving along, here's a a note from frequent

(15:44):
correspondent Jashan, who is undergoing a bit of a medical thing,
and we wish him well. We can both certainly relate
to that. Guys, how's the story of the football kickers
speech at the college still getting full coverage. We're talking
about the Kansas City Chiefs kicker. I've heard celebrities come
out and condemn it, yet no one has said anything

(16:05):
about pee woman beat her diddy. He beat a woman
on video, kicked her, made it disappear for eight years,
and now no one will talk about it. What the hell?
I guess words are more violent than actual violence. The
kicker would have been better off if he'd just beat
no woman. No one would have heard about that. Another
former model came out yesterday and told her tale, which
is horrifying, of him drugging her and raping her and

(16:27):
then ruining her career to keep her quiet. Meanwhile, Harrison
Butker's jersey the kicker in question, is selling better than
the superstars of the league right now as people show
their sport. I'm tempted to buy one myself. I don't
know where I would wear it, but let's see on
the top of go you empty jail cells. Yesterday, hour
four of you guys did a story on California closing
prisons in order to save money. They claim that there

(16:49):
will be around fifteen thousand empty beds next year, which
is insane. There are so many criminals running around in
California right now victimizing people. But Adam Race doesn't this
allow for cops started arresting junkies. Wasn't the whole Supreme
Court decision on urban camping about not being able to
provide beds? Started up?

Speaker 3 (17:06):
Holding laws tomorrow? Cranking out license plates?

Speaker 1 (17:08):
Newsom huh fellows beds, cranking out license plates, bombs and junkies?
Huh sore?

Speaker 3 (17:17):
Are we going first? Samuel Alito's flag?

Speaker 1 (17:20):
AI, the new Portland leadership, What do you want to
talk about first? I don't know. So many choices, all
of them fine and on the way Armstrong and Geeddy.

Speaker 6 (17:33):
Just days after the nation saw an image of an
upside down flag outside the home of Supreme Court Justice
Samuel Alito. In the days after January sixth, a new
photo raising yet more questions, The New York Times publishing
images of a pine tree flag outside of Alitos New
Jersey Beach home last summer with the words appeal to Heaven.

(17:54):
The flag, which dates back to the Revolutionary War, has
also been associated with Christian nationalism, Supreme Court justices are
supposed to avoid the appearance of political bias, and Democrats
argue Alito has a conflict of interest and should recuse
himself from two January sixth cases now before the High Court,
including one which will resolve whether to President Trump has

(18:15):
immunity from prosecution.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
Okay, all right, you take breath, then go through this.
That's round two of the flag story, which I've been
trying to ignore best I can. But now that there's
a second round of the flag story with Justice Alito,
apparently I can't. I was reading Charles C. W. Cook's
twitter on this yesterday where he basically said anybody who's

(18:41):
following this story push it, or anybody who's pushing this
story commenting on the stories by definition a bad person. Basically, yeah, exactly,
That's what I was saying. All Right, I'll take a
deep breath and put on my We're doing a class
in how to take in political media now, because this
non issue you is so unspeakably idiotic. I've been trying

(19:03):
to ignorehim. Okay, so start at the beginning. Is he
flew the US flag upside down after January sixth? Why
because he and his wife and their evil minions are
in favor of the insurrection. No, it's because it was
a neighborhood dispute. There was a neighbor of theirs who
was flying a big had a big sign that said

(19:23):
f Trump in her front yard. Why right next to
a school bus stop. Oh wow, And the neighbors were
very unhappy about it. Yeah, that's not cool. Some, including
missus Alito, suggested that perhaps that was inappropriate, especially for
the children she had. I believe a sea bomb dropped
upon her by that neighbor. God, how do you not

(19:46):
live in a better neighborhood than that? And not the
not even the politics. Just you don't need the effort
on a flag outside your house on first of all,
that whole your better neighborhood than that? What are you
talking about? That was almost certainly a college educated white woman.
There's probably an affluent white woman almost certainly. Don't put

(20:07):
the effort on a flag outside your house about anything.
I know you're a piece of crap if you do that.
I only use that language because the FCC won't let
me use your language. You pigs. Anyway, So missus Alito
was very annoyed by that, and so to annoy that
neighbor put up the upside down flag for a period
of hours or something like that. It is a non story.

(20:30):
This appeal to Heaven flag has been associated with Christian nationalism. Folks,
the more sophisticated among you already know this. The phrase
has been associated with is the fudgiest of delicious fudge phrases.
It can mean a little or not or nothing at all,

(20:51):
and it's usually very very little. I've always found fudge
too rich. I love brownies. I do not like fudge. Really,
fudge is so good you have to nibble it. Fudge, Michael,
and now it's too rich. Yeah, I don't like fudge.
Brownies m all day long. See fudge, you guys download dogs.
That's the problem. Absolutely fudge. You and Michael are out

(21:12):
of your minds Yes, high five, Katie, high five to profudge.
To anti fudge, Yes, well you've got to consume it
like an adult. Well, I'm going to fly a flag
in my front yard that says f fudge. Wow, wow, sicko. Anyway, So,
the appeal to Heaven flag dates back to the Revolution

(21:32):
and it is used by a variety of people who
believe that we would be better served embracing our Judeo
Christian heritage as opposed to other ideas of what is
important in life. And she is absolutely entitled to those views,
as is Justice Alito one hundred percent. Now, even if
every single thing I said was wrong or untrue, none

(21:56):
of it is either. But even if it were ladies
and germs, this is the most sort of naked political posturing.
Judge Stephen Reinhart of the well will I will quote
who is writing this, somebody or other Mark Pouletta in
the Wall Street Journal editorial section. But ah, do Missus
Alito's political views, whatever they may be, create a reasonable

(22:16):
question about Justice Alito's impartiality, not if we follow precedent.
Judge Stephen Reinhardt, ninth US Circuit Court of Appeals didn't
recuse himself from a twenty eleven case challenge in California's
same section marriage man, even though his wife directed on
an ACLU chapter that had joined two district.

Speaker 3 (22:33):
Court briefs on the case.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
She was an activist taking part in the political process
in the legal process, said the judge at the time.
The views are hers, not mine, and I do not
in any way condition my opinions on the positions she
takes regarding any issues. I have been surprised of how
many judges just getting started, but go ahead. I have
been surprised of how many judges' spouses are so politically

(22:56):
active or mouthy about various subjects. I feel like, if
I'm a high profile mud you tone it down, keep
it between you and the girls at the book club
or the guys or whatever. I just think you're only
aware of it because each side tries to weaponize it. Well, right, yeah,
well because I think let's just stay out of it.
I've never heard anybody on the right weaponize this sort

(23:16):
of thing. But there's a judicial lead ethics I'm sorry.
Judicial ethics experts, led by Stephen Gillers, filed a brief
defending Ryan Hart on the grounds that his wife's quote, opinions, views,
and public pronouncements of support for the District Court blah
blah blah do not trigger any reasonable basis to question
Judge Ryinhardt's ability to honor his oath of office. But
we're just getting started. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, herself not

(23:38):
her late husband, was outspokenly anti Trump in twenty sixteen,
called the Republican candidate a faker criticized him for not
releasing his tax returns. She did not reduce herself from
any case involving mister Trump, including Trump versus Mazaar's twenty
twenty which concerned a congressional subpoena for his tax returns,
and in nineteen ninety eight she donated as signed cop

(24:00):
you have one of her opinions to the National Organization
for Women, which sold it in a fundraising auction. Ginsburg
didn't recuse herself from any case in which now filed
a brief. Judge Nina Pallard d C. Circuit did not
recuse herself from the Masski case either. Her husband's the
acl used national legal director, and had written a blog
post agreeing with the district court's decision, et cetera, et cetera.

(24:21):
This is a non issue. It is ridiculous, it is silly.
It is election. You're posturing. No, you can miss it,
and you can say it's a non issue. But it
was the lead story on ABC News last night, and
it put into the mind of a whole bunch of
don't pay that much attention voters in America that, oh,
there's something with those Republican justices going on there. Oh,

(24:43):
I was afraid of that.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
Can you believe that was the lead story on ABC
News last night?

Speaker 1 (24:50):
No, I can't. It's incredibly it's humiliatingly idiotic. And here's
your counter. Send copies of our podcast, links to our
podcast around to friends. I mean, yeah, it's signific, but
it's it's the worst sort of moronic politics. Yeah, they're
they're good at it, though the I feel like the
left is better at this, and it's not a game
you should play at all. But so they introduced the

(25:13):
topic with all the Clarence Thomas stuff with various friends
of his who are rich who let him go on
his boat or whatever, and which turned out to.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
Be nothing, and and and not uncommon and.

Speaker 1 (25:27):
But but uh, they just introduced this kind of into
the bloodstream of political talk, that these Republican justices are
corrupt somehow, and there are books out about it, and
they talk about it because I watch a lot of MSNBC.

Speaker 3 (25:42):
They talk about it on those shows all the time,
and they just made it a story.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
Yeah. I think generally speaking, the mainstream left is much
better at being completely immoral and unpatriotic. I agree. Now
on the fringes of the right, there's there's plenty of scumbaggery,
and I condemn it. But yeah, the mainstream left is
willing to utterly crap on the Supreme Court, for instance,
our institutions, our most important and sacred institutions.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
This is.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
I don't think this story matters at all, but it's
an interesting response. Like my neighbor does something I really hate,
and so I'm gonna fly my flag upside down in
response as opposed to be because she knew the tires
or key the car or something like that, steal their dog. Well,
let's fly my flag upside down. No no, no, no, no, no, no,

(26:32):
missus Alito, God bless her. She's keeping it in the
realm of signage, signs, flags, symbols, stickers, all of them
in the same She's not going to move it into
the realm of material damage to property. Gotcha, your maniac.
She's it's a measured response, proportional response. There you go.

(26:57):
Hey a idea, I got, I got a great idea.
How about you explain your policies and how they'll yield
a better country for all of us as opposed to
harem scare them crap about right wingers trying to put
you in change, put you back on the you know,
like Biden's loathsome unforgivable speech at Morehouse College the other day,
how about you talk about your effing policies. Huh, God,

(27:20):
dang it. So I got a folks a little fired up.
So I got a buddy whose home has been robbed
three times this year, great Scott, and I mentioned to
him the idea of a simply safe system. I mean,
you gotta do something simply safe with all the cameras
and the censors and all that sort of stuff, and

(27:40):

There's no safe like simply Safe. I need help from
I know Joe probably knows this. Katie, I think you're
into this too. I wear a Metallica T shirt fairly regularly,

(28:45):
but I don't know any Metallica music. And this happened
to me just the other day, where somebody's an all
awesome T shirt and they got started talking about Metallica.
Can you give me the name of an album or
a couple of songs, just so I can seem so
on what? Well reversed. I don't know anything about Metallic.
I just like their T shirts. Well, do you have
Apple music right?

Speaker 2 (29:06):
One?

Speaker 1 (29:06):
What I listened to?

Speaker 3 (29:07):
I don't want to listen to it.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
I just want to know what what? What's what's the
most popular Metallic album? The Black Album? Yeah, yeah, it's good.
Inter Sandvan is the big quote unquote hit that actually
got mainstream radio play. It's it's this is a sad
and pathetic fraud you're attempting to perpetrate, and so I'm

(29:29):
I hesitate to get involved in it. So I could
say something. I know, I want to be buried with
the Black album. I could say something like that. Wow. Yes,
you could say all sorts of things and that's one
of them. Or you could change bands or change Metallica
t shirts. They're cool. That is a cool t shirt. Yeah,

(29:51):
but I don't know any of their music, and and
people mention it all the time, and I feel like
I have something to say back, or maybe I could
humme a couple of bars of something. Yeah. I will
caution you though, that is saying, you know, dropping, name
dropping and heer Sandman's a lot like somebody saying, oh

(30:12):
are you ZEP fan? You're saying, oh yeah, Stairway to
Heavens are great tune? Well, yeah, are going to I
do assume as a fake. I do assume the one
song that got under the radio is not what Metallica
fans really like. So that's why I needed deeper knowledge. Yeah,
Well to go elsewhere. So I really can't help you.
I've seen Metallica a couple of times, and I'm I

(30:34):
admire them tremendously as composers and players of music, but
I don't enjoy it particularly. That's what's the name of
the main guitar player, Kirk Hammett Kirk. Yeah, he owns
the Greeny Less Paul. That's the thing I know. He
owns Peter Green's Less Paul that he paid like a
million dollars for. Yeah, he's an amazing player. That's the

(30:55):
main thing I know about him. Okay, so now I'll say, yeah,
I know, I hope they bury me with the Black album.
That's what I'll say. Say I think Lars is overrated.
It'll get a little association. He's the drummer, Oh, the
mouthy kind of spokesman drummer. Okay, I'll get into the
intricacies of Metallic and they just fake it from there.

(31:15):
See how it goes.

Speaker 3 (31:18):
Says anything or I.

Speaker 1 (31:19):
Miss man, I miss Cliff. Say that that will get people.
Somebody died there their original bassist. Yeah, okay, yeah, I
don't know anything after Cliff, you know, I'll just say that, Yeah,
it would be good. You know, in terms of fraudulent idiocy,
that's a that's a high level of it. We've got

(31:39):
Katie's headlines coming up next. Not surprisingly, real Metallica fans
on the text line do not like my fake metallic stance.
It's well, it's awful. As why they got cool T shirts.

(32:02):
I don't know what to say.

Speaker 2 (32:03):
Cliff Burton went to my high school. Oh real, Yeah,
we had a big Cliff Burton Day and everything. He
grew up actually just a few few streets from me
from where my parents live.

Speaker 1 (32:12):
Band hasn't been the same since he died, though, that's
for sure. No dude could shred. He's a guitar piece.
Cliff bassist basis.

Speaker 3 (32:21):
Oh my god, yeah, wow, wow.

Speaker 1 (32:24):
Wow's just here year. It's a bad idea. Hey, let's
get an idea. Who's reporting what? It's the lead story
with Katie Green.

Speaker 2 (32:31):
Katie, thank you guys from ABC News. Vials of blood
found in package addressed to Trump at rnc's DC headquarters.

Speaker 3 (32:40):
What there's so many nut jobs in the world.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
Yes, somebody mailed some blood to the RNC headquarters. Care
send give this to Donald Trump? Okay, all right, all right,
I'm on my way and they just bring it right
to him. Please.

Speaker 3 (32:57):
From CNN, Families of female.

Speaker 2 (33:00):
Israeli hostages release graphic abduction footage to pile pressure on
net and Yahoo.

Speaker 1 (33:06):
My god, did you watch that? Yes? I haven't, no
holy crap. And you know, it was good to put
it out to remind the numb nuts out there who
maybe have forgotten or missed it somehow what sort of
animals we're dealing with. They are isis level cruel and
Islamic supremacists. Yes, yeah, absolutely, also worth reminding you. I

(33:29):
should probably say this once an hour, every single hour.
The people of Gaza were living in peace. On October sixth.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
From the New York Times, Inside the White House, a
debate over letting Ukraine shoot US weapons into Russia.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
I'm so fired up about this, So Joe Biden put
out a statement again about reiterating the fact that we're
trying to avoid World War three, so they won't let
you crane us any of the weapons we've gave him
given him to shoot into Russia, even though Russia lines
upright on the border with all their troops and material
and everything like that, so they can roll into various
parts of Ukraine. The Secretary of State actually came out

(34:12):
yesterday and said we need to rethink this policy. For
him to even say that means he thinks this is
freaking crazy.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
Yes, one hundred percent.

Speaker 1 (34:23):
Russia, by the way, recently is taking to using poison
gas on the front. They are now doing World War
One style gas attacks on the Ukrainian troops. Somebody get
to Joe Biden and tell him you're making World War
three more likely, not less likely, by allowing Russia to win.
How do you not understand that.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
From the Wall Street Journal I was dripping blood inside
the turbulence hit Singapore Airlines plane.

Speaker 1 (34:50):
Oh man, Yeah, that one's made me think I am
going to make sure my seat belt is always on.
That that's a rough story. Oh, one hundred percent. Yeah, yeah,
you just never know when the turbulence is coming. You know,
there are tens of thousands of flights all over the world.

Speaker 3 (35:06):
Every single day, one has a big drop.

Speaker 1 (35:10):
A guy with a terrible heart condition died, Several people
got bloodied. It's a terrible for them. But you can't
get the idea that it's a dangerous thing to do flying.
It's just it's the notability of paradox that if it's
wildly rare. It makes the news and everybody comes away
from the news thinking it happens all the time.

Speaker 2 (35:30):
From NBC News, Judge DeLay's Graceland sale suggests Elvis's granddaughter
could win fraud claims.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
This is getting more attention than I understand why. As
I said the other day, you got to be almost
fifty to care about Elvis at all. I feel like
this might be the last gasp of anything Elvis related.
It's an odd scam. They were trying to pull two,
like inventing a fake loan and repossessing Graceland. You'd think
you just like do some apartment building in West Memphis

(36:02):
or something like that. When was I was, I guess
it was about fifteen years ago. I was in Memphis
on Elvis's birthday when they had the big celebration in
the street, and that was quite the party. It was fun.

Speaker 2 (36:13):
And finally, the Babylon be study finds one hundred percent
of men cooking on grill just kind of moving meat
around and hoping for the best.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
That certainly might really meet around and helping for the best.
That's hurtful and sexist. Katie be Better, Do Better Portland
has realized it is going down the toilet and changed
its ways.

Speaker 3 (36:37):
That and more to come to Armstrong and Getdy
