put up new boards between our neighborhood, you know, our yard in Josh's
yard. I feel like you andJosh have had a lot of problems with
this fence, particular fence we have. And I'll tell you why. I
have two dogs and he has one, and these dogs are digging to get
to each other, and then they'reslamming their bodies up against the fence to
(00:48):
get the board down. Well, all the boards are on Josh's side,
so one of the boards came totallyoff, like his dog scratched it off.
Oh but we fixt okay, yeahon my yeah, we just we

Yeah, they go until I wakeup. Oh yeah, They're still
talking in the backyard when I'm gettingup for work. That's how late their
parties go. But yeah, youknow, I we really like our neighbors.
They're really nice. They say ifyou say hi to six of your
neighbors, it's better for your wellbeing and it actually gives you like an

so far this morning, Harry.Men make better husbands. There's something about
having a lot of hair on one'sbody that makes that person funnier, smarter,

maybe going back to caveman days.Yeah, maybe. And if you are
(13:43):
a hairy man but you wax orshave it all off, I think you
still have the hairy sensibility because youwere born that way and we love you
however you look or are hairy ornot. But question has to do about
men. Men talk about this tentimes a day. What do you think
that is? I think this one'skind of easy, but tell us what

about what ten times a day?Sports statistics. That's such a good guess.
(14:52):
Everyone's saying sports stats. I thinkI figured out why we do it
too. Yeah. Why It goesback to when we were children we had
baseball cards, we would collect cards, we would watch Sports Center, we
would know that, Oh my gosh, Dave Winfield just hit his forty seventh
home run and he's got one hundredRBIs And that's how we're wired as boys.
I see. Yeah, Oh god, there's some signs behind it.
(15:15):
Yes, well, I always knowwhen my husband uses my car because he
has it on that AM station wherethey're always talking about sports, and then
you just flip it right over thecoast. Good girl, right, exactly
what I do? Well? Mentalk about this ten times a day.

Thanks, Jimmy, No problems.Hi. We now go live to
the OC. Andrea. Good morning, Hi, good morning, how are
you. Hey? We're good,Andrea. Men talk about what ten times

studio it's ten times an hour.We think about it a lot. No,
it is true, it is alot, and I think I don't
know. Maybe that also we weretalking about going back to cave man days.
Maybe that's kind of like foraging forfood constantly. Right, Yeah,
Andrea, you are right, you'regoing to us shirt. Oh my good

food. Awesome, my god, thank you so much. I'm so excited.
That's so cool. What are youthinking about right now? Ryan?
Food? I was gonna ask Andreawhat she was having for lunch today.
I had a poke bowl last night. Truffle talk with Tuesday, I gotta
go with talk. There you go, all right, Congratsandrea, thank you

so much. You guys have sucha great day. I appreciate I appreciate
everything. We love that you listen. Yeah, it's food. Men talk
about food ten times a day.We had so many interesting guests, some
we couldn't put on the air.But the right scientific answer is food.
Do women talk about food? Ithink we talk more about running around getting
(17:27):
the food. Yeah, planning thefood. Why is it again? Why
do we have to eat so much? Serious and feed all those hungry mounts?

fungus, typically common across the southwesternregion of our state, is spreading further

According to a doctor's valley fever, scientifically known as copy delumycosis, is contracted
by breathing in bungal spores that's spreadthrough dust particles in the air after extreme

repetitive periods of rain and droughts. So in the valley we have one of
the highest levels of valley fever casesgoing on right now. Of course,

be okay. There haven't been anyhospitalizations yet. Hey, Smucker's leaders aren't
worried about their sparsely populated Ohio campus. The company, whose brands range from
Jiff peanut butter to Folger's Coffee andPopperoni Doctory, has adopted a return to
(19:00):
office strategy that is super unusual amongUS companies. Smucker expects it's roughly one
thousand workers to be on site asa little six days a month or twenty
five percent of the time, dependingon their roles. They just want everyone
to come in during their core weeks, which have I've been identified. Many
employees can leave anyway they want theUS as long as they make it to
the campus for those six days amonth. Can you imagine working seventy two

It's a little brick brick place. And so he wanted to take his friends

So you have a grown son,it's twenty tell us all about him.
What's up, good looking kids? He's involved with this girl who I

He gets stuff done. He's apresident of his class. He's on

He's out doing that. She islike wallpaper. I mean, just there.
You know what I'm saying. Imean, excuse me. Is she

I mean, I'm not intimidating anybodyyou meet me. I'm a pretty

it's just plain. I mean, they just don't match up, you hear

The good news is your son isin love. Right. I'm not sure
he even knows what love is.I mean, he's he thinks he is,
okay, But I mean I wantthe best for him. That's the

to her directly. I mean itwas like pulling teeth out of a painting.
It was all like, goodness,Calvin, Well, I bet she
(22:27):
is wonderful, and I bet shetreats your son so well. So I
think we need to give this time. They're both so young. That's the
thing. Think back to your twentyyear old self, and then think of
everything and everyone you've met since then. And although it may seem serious and
permanent now, it might not be. And if it is, maybe she'll
feel more comfortable around the family. But I bet that she is really sweet
(22:49):
to your son, Calvin, andthat you know, hopefully he's met someone
amazing as he is. You're beingvery nice about that. I literally I

and I see it now. Atthe time, I just got she had

nothing going on. But look whatyour parents did. They let you make
your own decision. Yeah, no, for sure, you're right, and
so in hindsight, hindsight's everything. But at the time you were able to
just be an adult about it.Yeah. I feel like if I was
such a brat back then when Iwas younger, if they told me something,
I would purposefully exactly that. Thatcould also be a play. Yeah,

it take, then, Ellen foryou to sort of I don't want to
use the word wear her down, but I wore her down. Took me
probably two years to wear her down. It was I'll tell you. When
I knew I had hers, sheinvited me to Lynch, just the two
of us. She took me toa Magnolia cafe and she drove us and
she showed me some of the sitesof New Orleans where she lived. And
(30:33):
so I'm like, okay, Igot the mind, but it took a
long time. That's why I'm wonderingwhen Calvin the daddy called us earlier this
morning, if he's feeling threatened byanother person in his son's life. You
know, it's a bond that nowhas to make room for someone else.
And I know with my own sonCalvin, he's had girlfriends and he hasn't
(30:53):
had a you know, super seriousone. Girls have come over, but
I know that I always feel like, oh, they're just so you know,
he's twenty one. I'm like,oh they're so young, you're too
young. I always write it offlike that, I really do. So
I kind of see what Calvin saying. He's trying to find something not to
like. I don't do that.I find them adorable. But he's trying
(31:14):
to find something like because he doesn'twant his father's son bond broken up.
That's what I think. I don'tknow anyway, Ingrid, thank you for
calling. You have advice, Well, I would advice for him to kind
of get to know her more andpossibly get her to talk and you know,
kind of have a communication where theycan you know, find out what's
really going on. I mean Ican relate to that. I have a
(31:37):
son that on the other hand,if he's a shy one, but once
you get to know him, hecan be a chatterbox. But not until
you really get to know that person, you really can judge. Maybe she
is very shy and you know it'shard to get someone to talk. Yeah,
if she's staring at her plate thewhole dinner, I would think that
maybe it's even one of those thingswhere it could be an anxiety issue just
around people, right. Yeah, and my son has that, so I
(32:00):
really understand where you know she's comingfrom. But also the dad needs to
probably kind of find out a littlemore if she does have anxiety, maybe
that could kind of be turning herdown to talk. But you know,
especially nowadays, teenagers, you know, younger ones, they have a really
difficult time having any kind of communicationwhen they're surrounded by other people. And
(32:22):
hopefully he will just kind of backit up for a little while and let
his son figure it out. Yes, absolutely, let the sun figure it
out. He gave them their space. Absolutely. Thank you so much.
Thanks Ingrid, have a great day. Thank you. Likewise, Allan,
thank you. It's a big thingwhen you invite someone else into the family
fold. I love this. Isaw this wedding on Instagram and this dad
(32:44):
was giving away his daughter and shedidn't know how to throw a baseball or
a softball, so all he didwas throw the ball. Throw the ball.
That's what they did. Because shewas his only daughter. He didn't
have any son, so they threwthe ball. She made the team,
she won all kinds of awards, and then she's getting married. They're at
the wedding. The dad stands upand said, since the time you were
thirteen, what did we do?We threw the ball. So we pulled
(33:07):
out the mit and the ball, and they threw the ball at the wedding
and then he gave the mit tothe to the husband to be and said,
it's your turn now. Oh ohmy god. The ellen K Morning
