The LLENK Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
You and Ryan Mano and Darlene, you guys get me
through the day. So I just want to thank you
for that.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
And bringing just happiness and laughter.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
And joy out to the community is really really amazing.

Speaker 4 (00:12):
On Coast one oh three point five, Hey, good morning,
Coast one A three point five were the ellen K
Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
I'm Allen nine days till my birthday. I'm Ryan Manoh
my good morning.

Speaker 5 (00:23):
I'm social Queen Darlene. Thanks for wearing the blue today, guys.

Speaker 6 (00:26):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (00:26):
On four to two, you wear blue, Darlene, tell us
all about.

Speaker 5 (00:29):
It's not just for the Dodgers tonight for Otani's bibblehead.
It's for Autism Awareness Day all around the world. We're
bringing awareness and I kind of started off on my
Instagram this morning. Any questions or anything that I can
enhance and let you know about what it is to
have autism, I would love to answer those questions and

(00:50):
just kind of bring awareness.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
That's what today is all about.

Speaker 5 (00:53):
If you see any blue light bulbs, they're probably Dodger
fans and they probably have somebody in their household with autism.
So that's what the blue lights mean.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
On four to two. Wear your blue. I love that.
Oh good, So we'll be raising awareness all morning long.
I'm speaking of blue Dodgers Stadium and Jonas Brothers. We
have those for you as well. Everyone wants this ticket.
And let's talk about weddings catering. I remember, looking back,
we had two hundred and fifty people at our reception.

(01:24):
We had buffet style, so it wasn't sit down. We
had our reception at the Peterson Auto Museum. There's a
big ballroom in there. It was lined with muscle cars
and so it was like the perfect spot to be
able to dance, have a band, and have food. So
we wasted money on centerpieces. If I could go back,
I wouldn't have done these big flower things in the

(01:47):
middle because for photos everyone had to put them on
the floor anyway, So it was like, okay, that was
a waste of money. And I think I just would
have done more filling food, you know what I mean,
Like Stonefire Grill House. They have like garlic mashed potatoes
and barbecue chicken and try tipping ribs and it's like

(02:11):
comfort food. Yeah. And I think after you know, sitting
through a wedding and then going to a cocktail hour
and then finally eating. I think you just want to
dig in. Didn't you always say lay a heavy base, Yes,
a heavy base, and so we're going to take care
of that with Stonefire Grill. Up to one hundred and
fifty people. We don't want you to waste your time

(02:33):
or your money on things you don't need. But what
you do need is good food, and that's what I
would put all my energy into the good food. So
we're going to take care of it for you with
Stonefire Grill. I'm going to give you a gift card
and get you entered to win catering for your wedding.
Up to one hundred and fifty people. That's huge, Stay
with us.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
All moren A Long to Feel Good continues next on
The L and K Morning Show Coast one oh three
point five.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
I was waking up with you here on Coast one
of three point five, where the L and K Morning Show,
Good Morning of Ellen.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Hey, I'm Ryan Mano.

Speaker 5 (03:07):
Hello, I'm Social Queen Darlene.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Today we kick off a month of autism awareness and
it is also National Autism Day. Yes, tonight, Love on
the Spectrum.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Great Show comes back season three.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
It's cute. I love that show my daddy Dale loved it.
He's like, Ellen, I found your next show love on
the spectrum. It's so refreshing to watch people who are
so honest with each other.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
Yes, I always view it as because my daughter, who
is seventeen, has autism as well, and I feel like
her autism. She was born with Down syndrome, but at
five years old there was more that we noticed, and
turns out she did get a diagnosed with autism as well.
And I like to describe it to people as not

(03:51):
living life without a filter, like there's no filter, you
get it as it is, and I feel like we
need that. Yeah, especially out here like in La you.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
Get the honest right between the eyes thing.

Speaker 5 (04:04):
Yes, and then can I just share a quick lesson
really quick?

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:07):
You hear about it more and more frequently it used
to be. I mean, obviously you never want to hear
that your kid has a diagnosis, like it's scary, or
you just kind of like no, no, no, no, don't make
life harder than it is.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Right.

Speaker 5 (04:19):
But I think the realization of being neurodiverse. People don't
realize that we all process and perceive the world differently.
Not to say that we all have autism. We're just
celebrating and knowing that neurodiversity exists helps us realize that
we all learn from one another, and that's how we've
been able, that's how we've been able to get so

(04:40):
far in society. Oh right, yeah, right, yeah, And so
one in thirty six children are diagnosed with autism in
the United States. But really, autism knows no borders. It's
touching families in every corner of the world, and we're
only going to get better.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:54):
Yeah, that's the way I like to look at it.
Don't look at it as like, oh, my kid has autism.
Like you're going to learn something far beyond you just
don't know it yet.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Yeah. April two wear blue. So if you're getting dressed
right now, wear blue for April two. It's the color
for today National Autism Day, and also the whole month
the spotlight. Now we lost Val Kilmer had graduate of
Chatsworth High, played so many iconic girls videos. Also, what
I loved about him so much, one of the things

(05:25):
was his voice, and he voiced so many animated films,
so we're going to dig into that coming up as well.
His AI voice is like none another. I love this clip.
It's Val Kilmer and it's his AI voice. It's top
Gun Maverick because you know he lost his voice to
throat cancer and then he had his tracheotomy. But this

(05:46):
is such a tender moment and a real moment. They
improvised this. It's Val Kilmer and Tom Cruise.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
One last thing. Who's the better violot?

Speaker 4 (05:57):
You and me. There's a nice moment.

Speaker 7 (06:02):
It's not.

Speaker 4 (06:04):
That's awesome. Rest in peace, Bell Kilmer. Coming up. We've
got some Stonefire Grill for you. Also a lot of
babies born, so MGK said, our celestial seed is finally here.
People think that Megan Fox's baby is named Celestial Seed,
but it's not. But there were some more celestial seeds

(06:27):
born that will tell you about. Coming up and Inside Entertainment.

Speaker 1 (06:31):

Show Text us anytime at five one oh three five.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
All right, Stonefire Grill, we love you. We want to
send you there as well.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Post one oh three point five Inside Entertainment with ellen K.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
All right, we are celebrating life and career of Val Kilmer.
He stepped away from Hollywood in the twenty's and twenty twelve,
he said, quote I don't have any regrets. It's an adage,
but it's kind of true. Once you're star, you're always
a star. It's just what level. Graduated from Chatsworth High.
He's survived by his two adult children, Mercedes and Jack,

(07:07):
who he had with his ex wife, actress Joanne Wally.

Speaker 8 (07:11):
My very first trip to la I came out for
the Anchorman Junket. It was at the Four Seasons in
Beverly Hills and I had never been. I'd never even
been to California.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
Oh wow, I know.

Speaker 8 (07:20):
And I was like, I wonder if I'll see any
celebrities other than the people in the movie. I get
to the hotel, Val Kilmer pulls up in his sixty
nine Pontiac gto convertible and.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
They tell me he jumped out without it. He did
not do that.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Wow, that was my first ever celebrity in the wild sighting.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
That is so cool.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
All right, some new celebrities celestial seeds babies. So Jason
Kelsey and his wife Kylie had their fourth, little Finny.
They're gonna call her finnn Kelsey. And then Jennifer Lawrence
had her second child with her husband Cook Maroni. And
what about this some new billionaires. The US is home
to nine hundred of the three thousand billionaires worldwide. And

(07:59):
according to four you got Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos,
Larry Ellison, but now you welcome Jerry Seinfeld, Arnold and
Bruce Springsteen. They are now billionaires as well, Magic Johnson
and Michael Jordan on that list. All right, So there's
all these rumors about Sidney Sweeney and Glenn Powell. They
were at they were at Glenn's Powell's sister's wedding over

(08:21):
the weekend, and Sydney had dumped her fiancee. She's not
getting married. She called it off. So Glenn Powell's mother
came forward and said, nothing is happening behind closed doors.
Absolutely not. They're just friends. They're definitely not together. It
almost sounds like mom, Leslie Powell doesn't want them to
be together, right the way she's debunking. She told every

(08:43):
publication that Sidney has not rebounded with her son. Okay,
she said, quote, they're definitely not together all caps, like
Sidney was at the wedding with her friend. There's nothing
going on behind closed doors.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
You've think Glenn says, like Mom, I got this mom.

Speaker 4 (09:01):
Oh boy, all right, and this is great news. The
season finale of the White Lotus this Sunday. We'll have
a runtime of ninety minutes, the longest season finale of
any White Lotus and the most episodes we've ever gotten,
with this being the eighth. We are so excited. Give
it to us. Yeah, all right. This is Finny Finn's auntie,

(09:23):

but she has been for a while. She's not one
of the new ones there. She is Taylor Swift on
Coast and call now for one hundred dollars gift card

Speaker 3 (10:23):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
More feel Good is coming up on the L and
K Morning Show Coast one oh three point five.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
Muge your health weight loss.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
Thinking about trying ozempic, then you need to go to fund.

Speaker 4 (10:35):
Okay, I guess I'm in trouble with this happiness.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
Heck, I don't know. You might, you might like it.
I just I want you to commit to trying it
at least once.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
Okay, because the last one I went to the grocery store,
I overspent. I was so hungry. I ended up buying
wasabi pas. Yeah, a giant thing of them. My husband's like,
you've never bought these before? What is this? And then
like three different kinds of chips.

Speaker 8 (10:58):
Okay, I'm going to We're going to solve that next
time you're at the Big raups on Ventura. Yes, I
go to the Whole Foods. By the way, thank you
for a cat calling me yesterday as you saw me walk.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
In storees that I scream, right, hilarious.

Speaker 8 (11:14):
Look, Okay, new research out this morning on our shopping habits.
You know, the subconscious things we all do in stores, like,
for example, when we go to the mall, nine people
turn right when you walk into the store. That's why
the stores on the right cost more they charge for
stores on them. So these things that happen in our
brains without us even knowing. Okay, okay, if you want

(11:35):
to avoid overspending next grocery store trip, like buying with
Sabby P's and six chips, uh, don't take a cart
or a basket?

Speaker 4 (11:43):
What?

Speaker 2 (11:44):
But how do you if you can avoid it?

Speaker 8 (11:45):
Right, unless you're buying a case of water, If you
are going in for enough things that you can comfortably
hold in your hand, do not grab a cart or
a basket.

Speaker 4 (11:53):
Okay. I never go in for less than what I
would need it. But can you well, but then I
wouldn't get what we need.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
I knew this is gonna be a problem.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
There's no idea it Next on the L and K
Morning Show, Coast one oh three point five, and it.

Speaker 4 (12:09):
Is Coast one on three point five. Top Stories, top
of the hour, Good morning of Ellen k and here's
a so cal first. Officials with the Anaheim School District
are installing vaping censors at two schools in hopes of
stopping students from using vapes. They'll be set up at
Cyprus and Laura High in both the bathrooms and locker rooms.
All in it's a total cost of seventy five thousand dollars.

(12:32):
A district spokeperson, John Bautista says the censor is called Halo,
can differentiate between vaping, vaping with THHC and intentionally masking
vapes with aerosols. So it is super advanced and that
is going into effect very soon. Sad news to share
this morning. Val Kilmer passing away at the age of
sixty five, the legendary star of eighties and nineties blockbusters

(12:53):
Top Gun, Batman, Forever, Tombstone. He succumbed to a battle
with pneumonia. Kilmer diagnosed with cancer back in twenty fifteen,
and while he was recovering from that, he underwent a
tracheotomy that took his voice. They used his ai voice
to do the other Top Gun Maverick. He sounded great
and looked great in that movie with Tom cruise. May

(13:14):
you rest in peace. Val Kilmer and NFL team owners
voted to modify replay, kickoff and overtime rules, with tabling
discussions about a potential band of the Tush Push that
their annual meeting in Palm Beach, and owners also agreed
to postpone discussions on changes to on site kicks and
playoff seating. All right, this one's kind of fun. Just

(13:34):
because she's in the news. Jeff Bezos wants Dolly Parton
to be his wedding singer when he marries Lauren Sanchez
off the coast of Venice on his private yacht. And
Dolly has just come out with Joe Lens. It's her
brand new blue jean line with good American. She says,
they will make any button look good. They also have
some Rhinestein's on them and it's Joline's genes. She said.

(13:57):
It was just a win win situation all around, and
she wants to have that girl power. Come on, girls,
let's do something special. Let's get our butts looking good
and they will in my Jolie's genius collab. And we
do have a nice day to day, one of the
nicest we've seen in quite a while. Hi's around sixty
five Corona sixty five for your high Culver City you
will see sixty five as well, and it's fifty right

(14:18):
now in Burbank. We run on Celsius Energy Drinks Kost
Los Angeles. It's Post one O three point five. Coming up.
A letter to Ellen. This one is about a girl
who got a glow up and now the friendship has
gone through a blow up, so we'll need your help
on that. And we're sending you to the Jonas Brothers.
Easy come, easy go. That's just how you live, all right.

(14:40):
We're the ellen k Morning showing this beautiful Wednesday, and
coming up we're gonna send you to see Jonas Brothers
at Dodgers Stadium. We got your ellen KQ and a
just ahead, and we also got this letter to Ellen
from Suberto.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Right to Ellen for advice because she's seen a thing
or two.

Speaker 4 (14:55):
She is Ellen, all right. We're getting so many letters,
you know what we need. We need some kind of
system to answer all of them. But this one's from Sabrina.
Dear Ellen, my best friend forever. Ali went through a
long divorce and custody fight for her two kids as

(15:17):
her closest friend. I was there for her twenty four
to seven, helping with pickups and drop offs and sleepovers
for her two daughters, also emotional support and hours of
listening and hugging and comforting her. After two years in
a hefty settlement, Alie went all in on a glow up,
a tummy tuck, breast enhancements, nos job, light O, the works.
Here's the problem. She's different now, not just in how

(15:40):
she looks, but in how she acts. She's completely self
absorbed in this new version of herself, always out, always dating,
always talking about who's looking at her and what event
she's going to next. She's using some of the settlement
money to buy big, expensive tables at Gala's. We used
to have meaningful conversations. We used to laugh until we
cried over the dumbest things. Now I feel like I

(16:01):
don't even recognize her, and she seems disinterested in me
and anything that reminds her of her past. I tried
bringing it up gently, but she says she's just living
her best life. I miss Allie and can't lose her
to this new glossy world. How do I remind her
that real beauty isn't just what you see in the mirror,
but who you are to the people who love you.
I can't stand to watch her become someone I barely know.

(16:25):
Please help me, Sabrina. I don't know if you've ever
had a friend who's done one of those mommy makeovers.
I have a friend who did a mommy makeover. But
she did not change her personality. She was the exact
same person and she did it and didn't flaunt it.
She is just something that she internally wanted to do.

(16:46):
She did a tummy tuck and she redid her breasts
and she felt amazing and it showed because she did
have a new glow about her. So she did do
a glow up, so.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
There was a glow on the inside that came from
what she wanted on.

Speaker 4 (16:59):
The on the outside.

Speaker 8 (17:00):
Yeah, And it sounds like the opposite situation here. It's
almost like after becoming who she isn't she's showing.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
You who she is. Yes, a little bit right, and
I think too, Llen.

Speaker 8 (17:09):
Some people look are put in our lives, maybe not forever,
maybe just to teach us a lesson. And it sounds
like this is a lesson for Sabrina.

Speaker 4 (17:16):
Yeah, Allie is always out, always dating, always talking about
who's looking at her?

Speaker 2 (17:22):
Is it an addiction sometimes to folks who do this?

Speaker 4 (17:25):
Yes, When you watch some of those surchical reality shows,
you see that there is an endorphin release, and it
sounds to me like, look, it starts like this. My
best friend Ali went through a long divorce and custody
fight for her two kids after two years and a
hefty settlement. So not only did she get the custody,
she got a lot of money, it sounds like, and

(17:47):
maybe now she's able to get the attention she craved
during this marriage, which didn't sound like it was the best.

Speaker 8 (17:55):
So if you're Sabrina and you're losing your friend, what
do you do? Do you try to salvage.

Speaker 4 (18:00):
It or do you let her go and let her
come back to you later when she realizes that her
new friends aren't her real friends. Maybe she's buying friends
m HM eight hundred and nine two nine kost I
want to hear your.

Speaker 1 (18:15):

Speaker 4 (20:20):
I want to see that so bad it won the
box office this week.

Speaker 3 (20:24):
Yes, I like anything he's in, and my dad's been
wanting to see it. And it's their anniversary or what's
the anniversary. A couple of days ago they celebrated forty
nine years and they just got back from pismol. So
we're going to go have a little movie date, go
have some lunch, just hang out.

Speaker 4 (20:41):
What a great day. Awesome. Yeah, Well, what's your guest?
What do women spend one thousand hours a year doing I'm.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
Going to say getting their nails done, because it takes
time in those nail shops.

Speaker 4 (20:53):
Oh, you know what it does, And that's a great guess.
It's not the right answer. I'm so sorry.

Speaker 3 (21:00):
Okay, it's okay, all right, try it. I've been tried
every day, but I'm going to keep on going because
i have the whole week off, so I'm able to

Oh so that sounds like a good workout.

Speaker 7 (21:53):
Oh yes, it is a very good workout.

Speaker 4 (21:55):
All right, Well, what's your guest, Candace. Women spend one

but we do moisturize everything all the time. And you
are right, it's moisturizing. You're going to Jonah's Brothers of

(22:23):

Thank you for for playing with us here on coast
and we're celebrating the life of Val Kilmer. He passed.
You know, he turned down Patrick Sweezy's role in Dirty
Dancing because he didn't want to be perceived as a
as a hunk. Really yeah, yeah, more on his life coming.

(23:19):
It's coming. Went five Katy Perry going his face April fourteenth,
blasting off with Lauren Sanchez and Gail King and others.
Six women, the first female flight crew, Katy Perry. And
you know she's the mother to daughter Daisy. So what
does Daisy think? This is exciting? And my daughter, she's
so excited.

Speaker 9 (23:40):
She thinks she's going with me, and she thinks that
the rocket is pink. But so many little girls are
going to see themselves in one of us. Hopefully couldn't
think of a better crew.

Speaker 4 (23:53):
It's nah gonna be exciting, all right, coming up, there's
only one one woman who Val kilm Her dumped. You're
gonna be shocked who it was. And it's post one
three point five Top stories of the hour. Good morning,
I'm Ellen k and our big bear baby Bald Eagles

(24:15):
have officially received their names, Sonny and Gizmo. Laughter is
good for the soul, that's for sure. We're gonna send
you to Belly Laughs, Big Food and Comedy Festival coming up.
But first your letters to Ellen, thank you so much
for helping out our listener. She wrote us to this
letter this morning about her best friend Alley's from Sabrina.

(24:36):
My best friend Alli went through a long divorce and
custody fight for her two kids. As her closest friend,
I was there for her twenty four to seven, helping
with pickups and drop offs and sleepovers for her daughters
and emotional support, hours of comforting her after two years
in a hefty settlement, she went all in on a
glow up. So she did a tummy tuck. I knows
job LiPo, breast enhancements of the works. But now she's different,

(24:59):
she's acting different, and she wants to be seen, she
wants to be heard, she wants to show off her body.
She's going to galas and events, and you know, it's
all about her right now. And so Sabrina was like,
she's losing Ali and that can happen. And also this
could just be shock a shock response, right nothing. I

(25:23):
just I don't know.

Speaker 8 (25:24):
I just feel like you look, I think that if
this isn't serving Sabrina, you don't have to stop caring
about this friend. But if this is a detriment to you,
don't involve yourself in all of this story.

Speaker 4 (25:34):
You know, Yeah, she said, they used to laugh until
they cried over the dumbest things. Now I don't recognize
her and she seems disinterested in me.

Speaker 5 (25:41):
I'm thinking, don't ignore how you feel.

Speaker 4 (25:44):
Yes, yeah, you know right, she's.

Speaker 5 (25:46):
Caring more about how her friend feels than her own feelings.

Speaker 4 (25:50):
Yeah, yeah, it sounds like it. Well, Dahlia is a
nursing student Mount Sech. Thank you so much for having
us on Dahlia and Colling. What do you think?

Speaker 7 (26:00):
Yeah, I think that if she's a true friend of like,
if she's truly your best friend, she's going to come
back to her. I can kind of relate. Not I
get that I didn't do all that stuff, but I mean,
I've been divorced twice. My best friends in our youth
and we've always had this special friendship. And she was
in my first wedding and then you know, life just changes.

(26:21):
I was married, I had kids, and she was single,
so we kind of like split apart. And then my
second relationship, she we were not friends, Like it was
not a good relationship for me, and she didn't like
the way who I was. And then I divorced again,
and somehow or another, it was like this perfect timing
because she was going through a bad breakup also, and

(26:42):
we became best of friends again. And I'm so grateful
for Kristin. If I wouldn't have her in my life,
I don't know what I would do. My son's father
passed away and she had to be the one she
you know, she was there, She's always been there. She's
been like my rock. I can't imagine life about her,
and I truly believe that. You know, sometimes they have
to just kind of find your way and then they're
going to and then she'll come back.

Speaker 4 (27:04):
So she'll come back. So she did her glow up.
She's loving the attention showing off her new body. But
you you do believe she will come back, Like.

Speaker 7 (27:12):
Just give her time, give her her space, and you
know when your two friends, like you're going to come back,
Like I can't imagine my life without her.

Speaker 3 (27:19):
Nice.

Speaker 4 (27:20):
So thank you, Dahlia, thanks a lot.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (27:24):
Do men do glow ups?

Speaker 2 (27:26):
I don't know, kind of I think so, I mean
not like that, you know, like a.

Speaker 4 (27:30):
Maybe not as many surgeries and things like that.

Speaker 2 (27:33):
I've heard of calf implants.

Speaker 4 (27:34):
Well, no, Ryan, it's a real thing. So there was
a guy at our gym who did like a glow up,
I would call it. He was really getting into the
gym and really wanted to be healthy, and then he
realized his legs didn't match his upper body. So he
told all of us, I'm going to get calf implants,
and he did and he came back and they were

(27:54):
really symmetrical and beautiful and great, and then one of
them fell. Oh yes, well, so then he had to
go back in and we were like, oh, is it
really worth it?

Speaker 2 (28:07):
So the calf turned into a cankle. It was pulled
up around his.

Speaker 4 (28:11):
And all the way down, and we were just like, oh, man,
But he was really working on himself, and it wasn't
It doesn't sound like it was for attention the way
Ali is doing it. It sounded more like it was
for his health and vitality, like he just wanted to
feel good about himself again. And I think that if
someone does a glow up, they obviously went through something

(28:32):
bad or they're just at a point in their life
where they just want to feel good about themselves. So
I love what Dollia said about Ali, that she'll come
back to Sabrina. She's just going through something right now,
and let her give him space. You know, I don't
even remember this gentleman's name. This was just a few

(28:53):
years ago. But when he came back and everything was fixed, No,
it is real. It looked even more natural. I think
maybe it was a different kind of Okay, good, all right.

Speaker 2 (29:05):
I used to you know, it's funny guys do take
pride in and calves. I'm thinking back.

Speaker 8 (29:08):
I used to work with this guy named Kevin and
his profile picture on MySpace was his calves.

Speaker 4 (29:12):
Oh really yeah, so not proud of your calves either.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
I like them.

Speaker 1 (29:18):

They thought one hundred and sixty thousand dollars thing the
sequence of the Bob Mackie Bevil set glass Ryanstones. I
don't know who bought it or if they'll wear it.

(31:12):
That's pretty cool. Here she is on Coked Happy National
Burrito Day. We live in the city with the best,
the best in the world. However you like them homemade.
Maybe you've got a spot you go to, so good
to darn and we're talking about this. Just wrap it

(31:32):
all up and then there's no dishes. Yes, that's it.
You can take a burrito anywhere. Yeah, Ryan, you can
eat a burrito eat your car, will not.

Speaker 2 (31:43):
I cannot. I do not eat in the car?

Speaker 4 (31:45):
You can? Would you eat it in a play, on
a plane, shore, a boat? All right? So we all
have our favorite burritos. We want to know yours? All right,
d you have one? What is it?

Speaker 10 (31:58):
Yes, it's called it burrito and it started in Colton's.
It's been there probably seventy years. Homemade tortillas. In fact,
you would see the grandmother's sitting there making the tortillas
and everything else. Today they still make up, but now
they're in red ones and it's a red building. It's
always been red. And the food is good and you

(32:21):
can't beat homemade tortillas.

Speaker 4 (32:25):
That's so true. All right, let's get to Dan, and
we love your calls. Eight hundred nine nine KOs g.
Everyone hits their favorite burrito, Dan, what's yours?

Speaker 3 (32:36):
It'd be Chipotle.

Speaker 8 (32:37):
The best burrito there is a Barbara CoA, but it's
gotten way more expensive, so MyoD, you know, you know me,
I'm cheap.

Speaker 3 (32:43):
I always get the chicken because it's the cheapest. But
I love barbaco.

Speaker 2 (32:48):
Okay, all right, Dan, may you spring for barbacoa today?

Speaker 4 (32:52):
Dan, stressful head, live a little You're only you only
go around once.

Speaker 7 (32:59):
Yeah, that's true, that's true. You got me there girl.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
Anybody all right?

Speaker 4 (33:06):
I imagine you win the lottery turned half million dollars.
You put the ticket in your pocket and then you
donate it to charity. And it happened to this woman.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
You don't eat the bands to charity?

Speaker 4 (33:17):
Well it was it was a jacket. So she wins.
She puts the lottery ticket in the jacket pocket and
then she donated it for Vietnam veterans. And now she
can't get it back. Oh yeah, that story and more
coming up your top stories. All right, my sweet little burritos.

(33:38):
It is National Burrito Day, and thank you for your calls.
So Scott, you've had burrito jealousy in your life. I
don't know what that means, but tell us.

Speaker 6 (33:48):
Okay, Yes, I worked for the City's been there thirty
five years. But when on the tenthier that I was there,
there was this one guy that got on and he
would bring burritles every Friday to the superintendents and supervisors.
And later on when promotions came up, guess who got the.

Speaker 4 (34:06):
Position by a burrito guy.

Speaker 6 (34:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (34:11):
Boy, they're magical. They really are. Get your promotion. Take
him everywhere you go. Thank you for spending your morning
with us here on the Only K Morning Show.

grill catering to give away and also gift cards. Thank
you for all of your input for our letter to Ellen.
It's from Sabrina. Her best friend went through a glow
up and now she's unrecognizable, doesn't want to do the

(34:54):
things she used to love to do. But it was
a It was after a divorce and a big fight.
So thanks all of your advice to let her just
have her space and time. Because if you've ever had
a friend transform themselves for health reasons or maybe coming
out of a custody battle or whatever it is, I
gotta let them live there with what she calls her

(35:15):
best life, and then she'll come back to you. And
we had every show with a quote and a kiss.
Carrie steals next. If you cannot find peace within yourself,
you will never find it anywhere else. Marvin Gaye said
that says birthday is heavenly birthday. Kiss on three, kiss
on me one two three,
