(00:00):
The only reason I can come upwith is tomire nation has not had a
major terrorist attack. I think it'sbecause the terror selves are merely waiting for
the best moment to hit us inthe heart July fourth, November fourth,
the day before the election. Imaginebombs going off at election centers. What
would happen? The election would becanceled. Maybe that's when the borders open.
If a big kaboom doesn't happen, that means we've been like too over

(00:22):
the years. That would mean nobodyaround the world hates us. Wif Chump,
this is the Trevor carry Show onthe Valley's Power Talk. Wooji Chump,

(00:45):
Well, would ya look at that? Two foreign nationals nabbed after the
election breach the US Marine base inQuantico, Virginia. The White House tight
lift on. More than not everyoneis on the terror watch list. Information
is still murky, but here iswhat we know so far. Two Jordanians
are in ice custody after allegedly beingstopped at the Quantico Gate earlier this month.
It comes amid an unprecedented number ofgadaways at the southern border. Is

(01:08):
the Secretary confident in the safety andsecurity of US military basis, not only
in this country, but around theworld. He is confirmed that he was
briefed on this incident. I thinkI can tell you, Lucas that he
attracts many different things all around theworld. I will tell you I'm not
going to get into specific things thathe's briefed on on a daily basis.
Hmm. What I would do aspresident, well, I would, in

(01:30):
fact make sure that we immediately surgeto the border. All those people are
seeking asylum. They deserve to beheard. That's who we are. Where
a nation says, if you wantto flee and you're freeing oppression, you
should come now. We're a nationthat has a legal aliens trying to break
into a Marine Corps base in Virginia. Hmm. Nothing to see here,

(01:52):
Please keep moving. Nothing to seehere. The Marine Corps prevented two people
from breaking onto marine installation. Matherturned them over to ICE. HEOC,
why aren't you shouting and yelling?Where's the former mayor of Oakland Libby?
Libby Libby on the label label labelshift? Where's she? Remember she gave
all the heads up to the illegalaliens? Right. ICE is coming this

(02:15):
weekend. Get out of town.We want to stay and see the Oakland
A's plate. No. I knowit's hard to leave, but you need
to. You need to leave town. Ice is coming right. Two people
drove up to the gate in abox truck. And that how terrofts always
show up in the movies. Yeah, they're always in box trucks. And

(02:36):
they were stopped by military sentries. The two men were legals. They're saying,
one Jordanian national, the other mightbe on a national terror We don't
know. They're still being tight lip, but it is being reported that.
But as you heard there from Fox, the White House's tight lip. They
what they did was, Hi,we're Amazon guys, or probably didn't sound

(02:59):
that way. We're Amazon subcontractors hereto make a delivery. Yeah, on
the base there at Quantico. Yeah, at the post office there, we're
Amazon guys. Okay, do youhave credentials to get in? No,
okay, we need to have yougo to a holding area. We need
to vet you. And they directedthem to go to the holding area to

(03:22):
go under standard vetting procedures, butthey blew past the holding area tempted to
drive onto the base. The officershad vehicle denial barriers. I don't know
if those pop up if there theycould pop up like you know, tire
spikes could pop up if they hitlike an emergency alarm button. I don't

(03:44):
know what. Oh it's always directorride nights and tell me. It's a
wall that pops up out of theground, all right. It blocks a
truck from getting any further. Sothey detained the pair. Uh. When
I heard this, I was like, that sounds like movies. I've seen
a US bases like in Libya orIraq, but now this is in Hollywood.

(04:04):
This is real life United States ofAmerica Quantico right outside DC. We
have no information as to the weapons, if there were explosives anything inside that
box truck that was going to beused to attack that base. It's the
one of the largest of our MarineCorps bases and it's right on the Potomac

(04:27):
there. So this is what happenswhen terrorists cross our border illegally and trying
now breaking into our military basis.Wow, man, this is beyond beyond
beyond. You know what else isbeyond beyond beyond that. Panama's new president
is more concerned about the border thanbuild back better. Biden. Yeah,

(04:51):
he said the border of the UnitedStates instead of being in Texas, moved
to Panama. He was elect lastmonth. He wants to put an end
to the caravans. President Jose RaoulMolino, he wants to stop those caravans
that come through his country from SouthAmerica. They come through Panama on the

(05:11):
way to the United States. He'spledged to close what he called the Darien
Gap. It's like a swampy jungleon the border with Columbia and it's a
big passageway for people coming to theUnited States. He even talked about the
possibility of putting up a wall. They beat us to it. Panama beat
us to the wall. Man again. The president of Panama Milino, he

(05:33):
said, the border of the UnitedStates, instead of being in Texas,
moved to Panama. He was formerlythe role of Ministry of Security of Panama.
So to protect the border, toprotect kids from human trafficking. There
are people out there that actually care, and there are people that break into
this country that if they found yourtoddler, they would care for them and

(05:56):
call the authorities. And then there'sa bunch that would slice your neck.
Do we know what those percentages are? No, We've made sure we don't
keep track of that. Can't havebad news like that. Get out.
We know that Kate Steinley was shoton the pier. That's when it really
kind of started kicking in. Rememberthat twenty fifteen. I think that dude

(06:20):
got off too, didn't he?Wow? An illegal aliens accused of murdering
your thirty three year old woman inWest Virginia after allegedly before murdering, attacked
two homeless people with baseball bats andleft them seriously injured. David Calderon,
forty six year old legal from ElSalvador. Are there US citizens that have

(06:40):
murdered people and hit people with baseballbats? Oh? Yeah, you can
watch a bunch of datelines. Yeah, we got bad cats here too.
And that's why China and Russia shouldn'thave just allow anybody from America to break
into their country, because it mightbe some bad people here that don't want
to get caught. Who might ifthere was a country going served serge the
border, right, no records ofyou, the odds of somebody going You

(07:03):
know what, I have a nicefamily, I have a job, we
have a house, we have acar, We pay our bills. Yeah,
it's tight sometimes, Yeah, Isee sometimes that America looks a whole
lot better my whole lot. Butthose individuals nine times out of ten would
probably do it the legal way ifthey were going to do it, because

(07:24):
they wouldn't want the hassle. Theythey do take care of themselves and pay
taxes in their country. Right, the middle class of their country, or
even the lower income class of thesecountries, they still have their houses and
jobs. I would think that if, right, if another country gave Americans

(07:45):
that option, who might skidattle evenif you thought it was better. Let's
say pick a country that you,oh, I just love Switzerland. Okay,
let's just say Switzerland right now, said America, surge on in,
and if you come in from anothercountry, We're gonna give you free health
care, We're gonna send you money, we're gonna give you a driver's license.
We're gonna make sure that when youcall you press two for English.

(08:09):
We're gonna make sure everything is welcomingfor you. Would you go No,
I wouldn't. I wouldn't break intothe country knowing that if you knew that
it was just the current leader andit was a big controversy in that country,
right that there were people that didnot want you there, and you

(08:31):
knew you were breaking the law.You knew you were breaking the law.
I would think the people that knewthat it's illegal might already have something in
their life that's illegal that they mighttry and get from. So my point
is, like Trump said when hecame down the escalator, he said,
and some didn't, he say,and some are are bad ombras. I

(08:52):
think he said that maybe later, but he talked about they're not sending their
best. He's just being realistic, like I am trying to be right now.
You think David Calder Run, theforty six year illegal from El Salvador
that murdered a thirty three year oldwoman in West Virginia, do you think
he had his life in order?Do you think maybe he might might have

(09:13):
maybe killed somebody before in El Salvador. I think the odds of him being
at least violent towards somebody are prettyhigh. They discovered this woman's body after
firefighters extinguished a couch that was onfire. They also allege he attacked two
homeless people with a baseball bat ata Walmart store in Virginia. There was

(09:35):
a warn for his arrest. Acouple days later, woman's body was found
and he was arrested on warris relatedto the attacks, and he was charged
with murdering the woman. He hadattempted to get asylum in Canada through the
northern border but was denied. Really, Canada, why wouldn't you accept him?
Wow, Trudeau, come on.Then he was turned over to DHS
custody and he was released with anotice to appear, but no, he

(09:58):
went out. Massachusetts Democrat Governor marahiyshe signed the state budget. What she
putting in there four hundred and twentysix million dollars to make sure Lego aliens
have a roof over their head. For housing. Yeah, I mean,
housing's already off the charts in somany cities around America. I saw United

(10:22):
Van lines listing Massachusetts was the seventhin the nation for citizens moving out.
I can't believe how bad Denver,Colorado is. I mean, they opened
their arms. Come on in,everybody, come to Denver, Colorado.
Now they're trying to get people intoprivate homes in Denver, and they're going

(10:45):
to be paying people to take Thearticle that I saw at Breitbart did not
say how much they were paying peopleto take people into their homes. But
that's coming from your neighbors and yourown tax paying money. Well, good
people of Denver, I'll get tomake some extra money during these difficult times.
That's actually how they're trying to sellit. You can make extra money

(11:11):
by us taking your tax paying money. You had illegals in Denver. They
had set up an encampment to protestthat they didn't have city shelters, the
gall right to break into a country, and then set up an encamra to
protest that they're not taking care ofyou well enough. And you know who

(11:33):
showed up to help them, hthe Prohamas crowd. They were out there,
guys, this is not satire. This is really happening in America.
They delivered a list of demand toDenver officials and on the list was free
food, clothes, and other items. They had a list of thirteen demands
at this Denver encampment protest that illegalshad with the Prohamas crowd. And now

(11:58):
we're at a stage where people fullof hey, man, you got an
extra room, why don't you hostan illegal in your house? All right?
Can I at least do an ancestrydot Com check on him or something?
Right, I mean, where's hefrom? Where'd he do last year?
Who is he? Here's the question, though, how long until this

(12:22):
becomes mandatory? Right? This isthe trebor Tary Show on the Valley's Power
Talk. Should Pete Rose be inthe Hall of Fame? It's a question
I'm going to ask mister Steve Garveycoming up here at the bottom of the
hour. He's running for Senate againstAdam Bullshiff and he won in the primary.

(12:43):
Thought, well, it'll be Republicannumber two in the jungle primary we
have in California where normally every racealmost it seems like it's two top leading
Democrats. But no, it's aRepublican in first place. We'll talk to
Steve Garvey at the bottom of thehour. I uh, this is really
just disturbing in the Statute of Limitationshas passed, which makes me angry.

(13:07):
I don't know if everybody saw itwas out all over the place today,
the video of p Diddy beating hisgirlfriend Cassie Ventura. I didn't know her
background. Director Ryan Nigel said quitea few years ago, she was an
artist herself, and she came throughone of the music stations here, said
she was a very nice person. And he said after after that it got

(13:30):
with p Didy. He never likeyou said, he never saw her smile
in anything. Right when you seethis video, oh my word. The
video, captured on multiple cameras, shows Colmb's assaulting his then girlfriend Cassie Ventura
in a hallway at a Los Angeleshotel in March twenty sixteen. The surveillance
video, obtained by CNN, beginsas she enters the hallway. The complaint

(13:52):
says as she exited, mister Colmbsawoke and began screaming at Miss Ventura.
He followed her into the hallway ofthe hotel while yelling at her. The
complainant goes on to say he grabbedher and then took glass vases in the
hallway and threw them at her.In the surveillance video, Combs can be
seen grabbing Ventura and throwing her tothe ground. As Ventura lies on the

(14:13):
ground, Combs then kicks her twiceand attempts to drag her on the floor
back to the hotel room. Venturais seen picking up a hotel phone.
Comb seems to walk back to thehotel room, then returns and appears to
shove her in a corner. Momentslater he can be seen throwing an object
in her direction. Hmmm, it'stough to watch. Man, he's a

(14:37):
maniac, running down with a towelaround him, dragging her back like a
like a cave man, kicking her, throwing vases in the hallway. Do
you see him all kick back inthat chair, like you're sitting in her
chair with a towel around him ina hallway of a hotel and he's throwing

(14:58):
vases is down in her area. And then you see her trying to call
on a phone a house phone inthe hotel, like help me, and
he comes and drags her and pushesher into the corner. And if he's
willing to do that where somebody couldcome off an elevator or walk out of
their own hotel room, right,he's willing to take that kind of behave

(15:22):
that way where he could imagine whathe's like when he has him locked in
a room or who knows what agun to their head. I don't crazy,
he's crazy. Now, that wasn'treported he had a gun anybody's head.
But when they're alone, if they'rewilling to do that in quasi almost
well it was public elevators in ahotel. Man, I was telling you

(15:46):
about the attack on the well, the attack that was sparted at Quantico.
We still don't know enough about this. I'm wonder they'll probably keep it as
under wraps as they can. Man. That would if somebody tried to hack
a marine base, that would meansurging the border. One and a smart
thing to say. Speaking of marines, a black marine corvette went on a

(16:10):
month's long hatefield tirade, threatened tocause mayhem by gunning down white victims,
federal prosecutor said Joshua Cobb twenty three. A tript New Jersey was posting online
posts and text message vound to gundown white people. Mostly he would probably
ode on my own adrenaline after thetenth body goes down. Yeah, he's

(16:30):
gonna get a hello. Yes,who's there? Huh, this is your
FBI. Man, I've had twooccasions, you say on the show already.
I'm glad I pulled that over forthe show today. Let's go back
to his writings. I want tocall mayhem on the white community. The
reason I specifically want to target whitepeoples because as a black mail, they

(16:51):
will never capital letters all cap neverunderstand my struggles same way I will never
understand their struggles, but I don'tcare to. I want to erase them
and all of them, really, but in this case as many as I
possibly can. Well, that soundslike a marine. You want to put
a gun in his hands, doesn'tit. I don't know the guy's twenty

(17:11):
three. Joshua Tritt, New Jersey. When he was born. Was it
instilled in his baby soul, histoddler's soul to hate white people before he
could even speak or know what whitepeople were. No, you put a
white baby in, a black babyand an Asian baby all in a crib,
they're gonna get along and play. But maybe he was raised in critical

(17:33):
race theory there in New Jersey,Blue state, New Jersey. Maybe he
was taught in in elementary school. Then he was a little more subtle,
but junior high. By the timehe was in high school, Let's see,
he was twenty three. Five yearsago, he would have been eighteen.
All the critical race theory twenty nineteen, his first year out of high

(17:55):
school. What was going on?George Floyd? Some are rage He was
told as a teen that he wasoppressed, probably and that white people are
the oppressors? Why wouldn't you havethis shouldn't shock anybody. Well, it
is kind of shocking that he's amarine and writing things like that. He

(18:15):
faces a penalty of five years inprison, two hunred fifty thousand dollars fine
only only five years. That's thesame amount of time you get for blocking
the door to an abortion clinic.Right, he's probably in the military,
right, he got critical race theoryin school. Then he gets in the
military and he's got the Pentagon talkingabout all the white rage and all the

(18:36):
DEI that's out there. Right,So, again, a marine, he
was at least they arrested him.Right. Well, I'll tell you what.
We got a great state. That'swhy a lot of people have moved
here over the years. He wantsto keep it great, make the Golden
State great again. California candidate forUS Senate, mister Steve Garvey. We're

(19:00):
going to talk to him. He'llbe on the show next. This is
the Trevor Cherry Show on the Valley'sPower Talk. Well, it's a Friday,
and I'm about to talk to misterSteve Garvey. Mister Garvey, welcome
back to the show. Are youand the Friday Feel Good feel. Yes
I am, And after listening toyour music, I think it was Hall
of Oates. Every move you make, every step you take, we'll be

(19:21):
watching you. Well. You wentback in the day on that one haul
of Oates. I'm short with darkhair. My brother's tall with blonde hair.
In the eighties, we used toact like we were hauling Oates.
Absolutely, Hey, I'm going togo back. I want to go back
to nineteen seventy five. We werewondering whether you would remember this or not
in the All Star Game. AndI don't know how how good the audio

(19:44):
is going to be. I'll bequiet and let you hear this, and
I'm going to ask you if youremembered this or not. Are you ready?
You got your volume up there?Good? Let's go? All right?
From Sinotti reds Now you think thatin fifth then playing first base?
The National League's most vatuaball player innineteen seventy four, The most valluble player

(20:06):
in last year's All Star Game fromthe Saint Louis Dodgers, Steve Darby.
Did you catch that? Yeah?Saint Louis Dodgers. Yeah? Did you
did you hear that? When youwere running out of the dugout. Did
you notice it during the game? No, but that was that was quite
a game. You know. Thatwas my second All Star game, my

(20:29):
first one. I had become thefirst right in candidate to ever start a
game an All Star game. Ihad a million write in votes, So
I've been thinking I calling the FBCand seeing if I could transfer that million
votes to the election November. Right, Oh lord, we were curious whether
or not Director Ryan Nigel in theresaid, I was wondering, like you

(20:52):
heard the crowd you were looking at, you know, to shake Johnny Bench's
hand. Did you notice the PAannouncer saying I was watching that on YouTube
and I had to rewind it.Did they just say Saint Louis Dodgers?
They did well, mister Garvey, the campaigns in full steam here. I
want to ask you about what's abig deal to me right now as the

(21:14):
funding for Ukraine in this war.If you were in the Senate, I
know Mitch McConnell's the leader. MittRomney was telling us recently that you know,
we need to we need to stopthis aggression. What would you what
would you be like as a senatorwhen it comes to funding Ukraine. Well,
you know, I think we werethe torch bearer for democracy and we
always have to stand with those democraticnations who become attacked as Ukraine was by

(21:41):
Russia, which really, as faras I'm concerned, was allowed to happen
because of the lack of leadership inthe White House in this country. And
it started in Afghanistan the way thatwe pulled out of there, which I
think the world watches every move wemake, and they saw how we handle
that, and Putin who looks withthis, went through Crimea and then determined

(22:06):
that they could easily take over Ukraine. And by the time they started gaining
momentum. You know, we madeour commitment, and we make our commitment
we stand for democracy, and overtime it's become almost a quagmire of very
little movement back and forth. Ithink the Russians are starting to gain ground
and we should continue our support.I've always said I don't believe there's been

(22:30):
enough oversight as to where the moneyis being spent. I think when we
make the commitment, we make ourcommitment for necessities of war. And I
think we've gotten to the point nowwhere Ukraine is begging us. You know,
the first round is usually equipment andammunitions and so forth. That those
things were out and theyde need thatsupport to refurbish them and so forth.

(22:55):
So you can see it's a neverending cycle. That I would hope that
our leadership's next step is try towork some kind of peace accord that maybe
Ukraine may lose some land, butthe compassionate decision is to continue to support
them. But they're losing the menand the boys of the future and their

(23:18):
population, and it's got to endsometime within the next six or seven months.
Well, Senator ram Paul was talkingabout having an audit of the money
that's going over and he was talkingabout having an audit of it because many
of us are folio aware that Ukraineis a corrupt country. They're completely corrupt,
right, And he goes back tothe prior administration. We were talking

(23:41):
about Ukraine and remember the infamous discussionand about barisma and all these things.
I mean, they're not the autiomyof of a moral state in any way.
But again, do you think,do you think it's a corrupt country?
Oh? Right, I believe thiscorruption in every country, but there's
more evident, evident than in manyof them that I think, I think

(24:03):
we're a corrupt country. There's corruptionin every country. But mister Garvey,
when I want to set aside themainstream Republican, the conservative Republican, let's
just talk as Americans with the checkbookhere. It's tough out there in this
economy. We've talked about how toughit is, and Republicans talk about how

(24:25):
they're going to get rid of,build back better, Biden economy, and
restore good, solid fiscal sense. But in the meantime, in the meantime,
one hundred and thirteen billion, anothersixty billion, that's one hundred and
seventy three billion, they're going tocome back this summer and need more money.
Setting aside middle conservative, far rightconservative, however, we want to

(24:47):
place everybody. We can't afford it, and it's our money that you're asking
for to continue this. And youeven said it's a never ending cycle out
there, Vietnam, Iraq. Themajority of Americans now go, what was
all that for? What is thisfor? If I ask Americans on a
blank map to point to Ukraine,I bet if I ask Congress to point

(25:11):
to Ukraine on a black map, blank map, they couldn't do it.
No, it's a like of leadership, and it's it's as much on both
sides as it is just pointing thefinger at one side of the other,
depending on who your prejudice or yourpreferences. We've got to get back to

(25:33):
leave the people telling Washington what todo. And that's why I stood up
and decided to run. Is mostpeople know me, you know. Not
too many of us get a chanceto go out go to work every day
with thirty or forty thousand people critiquingour work, so people know it compassionate
about what I do. I careabout the people. But we need to
get back to a free market enterprise, back to fordability and accountability. You

(25:57):
know, we're almost to the pointnow, especially in the state, feel
wealthy and those on welfare and thevanishing middle class and lower middle class is
paying for just to keep our headsabove water. What was it you were
a surplus of sixty billion and ourdeficit continues to grow in the state over

(26:18):
sixty seventy. Who knows where it'sgoing to because of taxation. We've got
away from that free market enterprise thatlets people get up in the morning and
determine, not that they have tobuy let's say, for instance, ne
EV, but they may choose tobuy because of affordability. And then what's
come out in the last couple daysis, look at the cost of living,

(26:38):
Look at where gasoline is, Lookwhat we're consumer goods, mortgage rates,
all the things that affect mom anddad at the kitchen table, in
the gas tank, and the opportunityto save for the future and to be
able to send their kids to aneducation that is maybe best suited for them.

(26:59):
So let's get back and you knowhow tterbor, we're going to need
you actually need to be able tocurtainstrol the Senate and the House and the
presidency to get things done. AndI think everybody as I travel the state
and I listen to people and theypour their hearts out, it's time for
change. And it's time for peoplelike myself who's willing to have the political
courage to make the tough decisions,to tell those constituents of mind or those

(27:26):
senators and maybe the President of theUnited States, it's time to make decisions
by putting the people first and notentitlements reappropriate. And there's billions of body
sitting around not doing anything let's startgiving it back to the people, letting
them reach through the moon. LikeI've always said, if they fall short,
that'll be a start. But rightnow, eighty five percent of Californians

(27:48):
wake up each day and know thatthey're either going to break even on a
good day or lose money that month. Well, mom and dad at the
kids and table have had one hundredand seventy three billion sucked out of that
table. And I've this is somethingI've directly talked to every Republican that's either
in office or running for office, because it has been the Republican thing to

(28:10):
go along with the Bush Cheney wars. Trump didn't have any wars. We
dropped a mother of all bombs onSyria once, but outside of that,
we didn't have that. And wedon't have the money to keep funding this.
And especially i'd like your comment onthe Republicans and Speaker Mike Johnson zero
money for the border. I don'tknow, mister Garvey, if you heard

(28:30):
about the two cats caught trying toget into Quantico, the marine base,
the illegal aliens in the box truck. Yeah, unconscientable And what needs to
happen is three big issues. Crime, in the streets, inflation or economy
again, affordability, and then theborder. I mean, we're up against

(28:52):
the opposition, a progressive opposition thatwants to erase the border. They want
to defund the police, they wantto close for now those things right there
tell us that. And by theway, every great society has secure seats,
and people feel that the crime isn'tbare, it's going to affect their
lives. We need to get backto law and order. And then we

(29:15):
need to get back to the essenceof being, like I said before,
affordable and accountable. But you've gotto shut that border down. And I've
been to the border in San Diego, and now that's really the target.
You know that the influx shifts. It could be Texas, it could be
you know, edge of our Passoin New Mexico. But now ten thousand

(29:36):
illegal migrants come in every day inSan Diego by just walking through, sticking
up their hands, and within seventytwo hours they're processed. They get a
debit card and a bus ticket, and they're sent to the country. And
if they stay in California, howwe pay their welfare? Now now we're

(29:56):
paying for these illegal immigrants and we'respending twice as much as the government spends
on educating our children. There's somethingwrong there. So we've got to get
back to protecting our cities and streets, protecting our citizens and especially you know,
our hard working you know, farmersand ranchers throughout the state of California,

(30:17):
arguably the greatest farming and ranching areain the world, and be able
to get deregulation down so that theycan actually keep investing in feeding America and
being able to be progressive and makesome money because they're the ones that allow
us to survive. So all thesethings need to be addressed. But you

(30:37):
know, somebody said, what wouldyou do your first day in a CENT
I said, well, the firstthing would be I would demand an audit
of where that twenty five billion wentfor the homeless in California. The other
thing was start to go to allninety nine centators, go to their office,
stick out my hand and say,I want to work with you.
I have no baggage, I oweno one, but why don't you and

(30:59):
I I come up with bills thatare going to help the people premier state
and especially my state, the GoldenState. It used to be the heartbeat
of America. Let's start to worktogether and forget about this rancorous snarkiness.
And maybe that's why I got inthe race. I turned the TV on
about a year ago and I sawthis are elected officials who have become career

(31:21):
politicians running for power. And mywife said to me, you know you
love this country. I love it. You never took the field for Republicans,
independents, Democrats. You took thefield for all the fans. Give
everything you had, and you're goingto be running for all the people because
that's exactly what you'll do for them. On the border, mister, and
my guest is Steve Garvey, senatorialcandidate. Many don't want the border to

(31:45):
stop. I was stunned at thenumbers that came out this week at these
non governmental agencies in that are makingbillions of dollars because we have illegal immigration.
If we actually close down the border, people would have to turn in
business cards and expend accounts. Yeah, well, people say, oh,
we've got to change the system. No we don't. We have a process

(32:07):
that allows immigrants to go to anembassy and wherever they are and file for
entrance into the United States, gothrough the process and to get a green
card to be able to work, and then you wait in line, and
there are thousands, thousands of thesepeople around the world sitting there waiting for
what a year, two years, three years, and seeing illegal immigrants jumping

(32:30):
from them walk into the United Stateswithout going through a process, doing it
illegally, and they're wondering, isthis the America that I want to go
to that doesn't stand up for whatthey believe in, whether it's law and
order or accountability. And we've gotto get back there. But you know,
benefits, like you said, Terry, hit it right on the head,

(32:52):
all these special interest groups and also, let's face it, the terrorist
cartels. They are actually making billionsand billions a year all of our administration
that's allowing these illegal immigrants coming intothis country. Credit shut down the border.
We've got to vet these people becausewho knows, you know, who
they are. I'm quite sure thereare more terrorists coming through a more organized

(33:15):
crime than we know of. Andhow about the increase of was it ten
thousand percent more in the last threeyears of Chinese Yeah, those numbers are
off the chart, aren't they Absolutely? And by the way, they're coming
through nicely addressed organized versus women mostlymeant. I heard some are flying into
San Francisco with nice luggage, thengoing down to San Diego and coming across

(33:37):
the border back in as illegals there. Actually it's a Chinese operation going on
there. They're also screwing up oursenses. That affects Congress. Ye yeah,
well mister Garvey, listen, Ivoted for you, you got my
vote November, but I would loveto really ask you to consider that stance
on our money going to Ukraine. We got a lot of time before the
election here I could I could Isegue to bait because you know I love

(34:00):
to talk about it. Good.I'm going to ask you should Pete Roseby
in the Hall of Fame. Well, you know I said to him once
that he was given a lifetime convictionso to speak. And we talked and
they said, Pete, just toadmit it and admit that you have a
gambling problem, look into the camera. Asked that the public for forgiveness,

(34:22):
you know, or a very forgivingsociety, and as Christian's forgiveness as a
virtue, big curature. And ittook him fifteen years to do that.
I think if he would have,and I love him, he's a dear
friend. If he just would haveadmitted it, he would be on the
ballot now. But you know what, if we are going to allow gambling
now and baseball is going to buya percentage of what FanDuel directings, whatever,

(34:45):
then he should at least be onthe ballot and let the voters decide.
He's done his penance, he badehis news to society. Let's give
him a chance to get on theballot and let the voters decide. Yeah,
he should have admitted as quickly asBill Clinton did, shouldn't he.
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, that'sa whole other segment right there. Well,

(35:06):
we're going to end it on thatone. I just want to thank
you for your time, and Ihope you're making some plans. Maybe see
you in the valley here over thesummer, and I hope you have a
good California campaigning weekend. Give outthe website there, sir, Yeah,
Steve Garvey dot com, Steve Garveydot com. We and by the way,
thanks to everybody, we had aearth shocking primary. We beat Shift

(35:28):
thirty three to twenty nine and theother cabal, and we've got great momentum,
but we're targeting the independence, theundecided, the disenfranchised Democrats who were
starting to say, you know,we're tired of this too, so you're
going you're going to go after groceryshoppers. That's right myself. All right,
all over, we're all out here. Well, thank you Steve Garvey

(35:52):
of the Saint Louis Dodgers. Weappreciate you being on a new jugger about
Thanks. Thanks everybody, thank you. All right, this is the Trevor
Jerry Show on the Valley's Power Talk. They had one more thing I forgot
to ask Garvey about baseball. Didyou see the college baseball team that was
down nine runs with two outs ofthe bottom of the ninth and they scored

(36:15):
twelve runs to win the game.Imagine sitting on the bench ninth inning,
two outs, you're already you're ifyou're not a gamer and your head's not
in the gaming, you don't gotyour rally cap line, and you're still
come out, guys, we cando this. Tell me what teammate you've
ever had with two outs in theninth inning has been in the dugout down

(36:37):
that far, down by nine runswith two outs and somebody in the dugouts
going, come on, guys,we can still win this game. You
might get hit with a bat,But they did it. It was two
college teams Indiana University Southeast Grenadier's grenadDeer's what's a Grenadier g r e ad

(37:00):
Ers Indiana Tech thought they had thembeat eleven to two. Come on,
man, two outs in the ninth. If you're winning up by nine like
that, you're already thinking what amI having for dinner? You're already thinking
about the next game. Right thenext starting pitcher is already going through it
in his head. That was anamazing comeback. Thanks Mom for the great

(37:21):
Ukraine text. I am the Ukraineguy. Now, I guess involved in
the world out of our own selfinterest? Do I laugh at the phrase
America first? I know it typicallymeans oh isolation is that's Senator Mint Ronney
laughing at the phrase America first?Do tell? Do explain there? Mitt?
Why don't you just just open upa restaurant in Salt Lake City or

(37:43):
something? Get out of politics, man, Really, America is putting ourselves
first when we're involved in the world. No, when we stop bad people.
Look at Vladimir Putin, goes notjust through Ukraine, but then decides
to go into Poland. Then we'reinvolved in conflict with our sons and daughters
going to guys. If we don'tsend them those advisors over to Vietnam and

(38:04):
some helicopters, we're going to besending our sons and daughters over. That's
how it always starts. Old enoughto remember a documentary about it. But
with the Iraq War twenty years tellme right now, write in a sentence
why we did it and what wegot? Two sentences, why we did
it and what we got for it. I'm sorry for those that lost people,

(38:30):
loved ones in that war. Iwould never ever ever talk bad about
the service members now they're the onesthat are following orders. It is the
foreign policy that makes me get soangry. America is putting ourselves first when
we're involved in the world. Notired of that concept. It's never worked

(38:53):
in my lifetime. I hope candidateSteve Garvey changes his opinion on it.
Hey, I'm gonna come back andtalk about reason number eight hundred and forty
two not to watch the NFL anymore. They don't like Catholics. Next,
