Caroline worked for the department of labor and training for 33 years and when she retired, she became a grandmother of twins. Everything was good in her world until she heard those terrifying words.

Shortly after she had a craniotomy to remove the tumor with no residual effects. This was considered to be a miracle. Jayne Oliver, Caroline’s dear friend created the Caroline Caprio Scholarship and Giving Fund. Recently the name of the foundation was changed to the Caroline Caprio Brain Tumor Foundation. Our mission is the same: to help people in Rhode Island, battling brain, tumors with medical expenses and spiritual guidance.
