demand on the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
But sad death to tell you about.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
I don't know why we constantly get these, except that
people are always going to do.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Rick Hurst died. The actor.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
If you were a fan of the Dukes of Hazzard
like I was, this was Deputy Kleatus Hogg, played by
rick Hurst, died at the age of seventy nine. His
death was confirmed. Now this is the best part about
the whole story. His death was confirmed by Cooter. His
death was confirmed by Ben Jones, who posted a message

(00:43):
on the Facebook page of the Couter's Place Museum, which
is dedicated to the Dukes of Hazzard. Yesterday again, Deputy
Kleatus actor rick Hurst passed away at the age of
seventy nine.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
What else is going on? Time for What's happening?

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Elmer I am a professional. Thank you, som you're welcome.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
So just in a short time ago, President Trump says
he is terminating all discussions on trade with Canada, effective immediately.
Canada had announced a digital services tax on foreign and
domestic tech companies. This posting on truth Social today, President
Trump said the US will let Canada know what their

(01:46):
tariff rate will be in the next week.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
That's the way he likes to do it.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
His post reads, we have just been informed that Canada,
a very difficult country to trade with, including the fact
that they have charged our farmers as much as four
hundred percent tariffs for years on dairy products, has just
announced that they're putting a digital service attax on our
American technology companies, which is a direct and blatant attack.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
On our country. It's quite a word.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
They are obviously copying the European Union, which has done
the same thing and is currently under discussion with US
also based on this egregious tax. We are hereby terminating
all discussions on trade with Canada, effective immediately. That post
went up after that news conference this morning where the
President was talking about the decisions that came down from
the Supreme Court. The city of la has until the

(02:36):
close of business today to turn over documents and communication
related to our protests. Recently, the House Oversight and Government
Reform Committee Chair James Comer is investigating Governor Newsom and
Mayor Karen Bass's handling of the demonstrations that began to
break out June sixth, after the public immigration enforcement operations

(02:58):
and several arrests. Calmer sent a letter to Bass and
Newsom saying that the city was unable to put a
stop to violence and looting while hindering the federal government's
deportation policy, and they requested that the governor and the
mayor hand over all documents and communications related to the
demonstrations among their two offices with state law enforcement and

(03:21):
local law enforcement by the end of.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
The day today. The thing is, I don't I guess.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Earlier this week, the Democrats elected Congressman Robert Garcia, former
mayor of Long Beach, as the new ranking member of
the House Oversight Committee, and Garcia has been a critic
of the administration. It's not clear how much influence is
going to have in this case to exercise able to
exercise a way to maybe shield his friends, and he
knows Newsom and Karen Bass. So the Trump administration is

(03:54):
trying to speed up its ability to find those in
the United States illegally up to one thousand dollars a day,
according to a rule that's going to be published in
the Federal Register. Currently, the government can alert anybody in
the US illegally thirty days before it starts issuing fines,
and they want to speed up that window. Closing arguments
for the defense are being delivered today in the Shan

(04:16):
Didty Combs trial. He was portrayed in the closing arguments
today was Didty as the victim of an over zealous
prosecution that tried to turn the use of drugs in
a swinger lifestyle into a racketeering conspiracy. The attorney in
this case, Mark and Jaffillo, mocks the government's case against Ditty,

(04:38):
belittled the agents who sees the hundreds of bottles of
astroglide and said, way to go, fellas you protected us
from astroglide. He said the prosecutors had exaggerated the evidence
of the lifestyle to combine it with recreational recreational drug
use and then to call that a racketeering conspiracy. The

(04:58):
thing is he did did admit to the domestic violence
the attorney did, I should say, basically, we own the
domestic violence. It's hard to ignore that, considering there's video
of him kicking and punching his girlfriend. But said, did
any witness get on that witness stand and say I
was part of a racketeering enterprise, I engaged in racketeering.

(05:21):
The defense attorney said no, and said that those accusations
were a figment of the prosecution's imagination. Don't look now,
but the SMP five hundred is back at an all
time high where it started at the beginning of President
Trump's term and where he has touted he is going
to be. In fact, the s and P five hundred
up at sixty one P forty three right now. That's

(05:44):
up only two points, but it is important because it
is back into that record territory. Good news out of
the Pacific Palisades. The Getty Villa Getti Villa, sorry, the
Getty Villa is going to reopen on well today, The
operating hours limited to ten to five Fridays through Mondays.

(06:05):
One of the things is they're trying to help mitigate
the weekday traffic along pch but the building itself for
the Getty Villa Museum not significantly damaged, but obviously there
was a lot of soot and ash and other types
of damage, so they had to take a long time
to clean that up. But to commemorate the opening or reopening,
I should say, they're debuting a new exhibition called The

(06:27):
Kingdom of Pylos Warrior Princess sorry, Warrior Princes of Ancient Greece.
It will be on view from today all the way
through January twelfth, and just days before his new movie opened,
Police are investigating a reported burglary at Brad Pitt's house.

(06:49):
LAPD confirmed there was a break in Wednesday night at
his house in the Los Phelis neighborhood. Thieves ransacked the home.
They took an unknown amount of miscellaneous property. The value
of the items not immediately disclosed. They're looking for three
people who were able to climb over a front fence
and broke in through a front window. The Cole Kidman's

(07:10):
house were recently broken into. Before that, Oliver Giroud from
La Football Club his house was broken into. We've seen
all kinds of these burglary crews targeting high end homes
from coast to coast, because you know what all they
have to do is figure out when is an away
game and then.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
Break into these people's homes.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
We saw that with We saw it with Yashiel Puige
a long time ago when he was playing for the Dodgers.
All right, Brad Pitt from brad Pitt's home being broken
into to Brad Pitt potentially breaking records at the box office.
Heather Brooker is going to join us. We'll talk entertainment
when we come back. Also a shot at one thousand bucks.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Right around the corner. You're listening to Gary and Shannon
on demand from KFI AM six forty.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
Well, it is Friday, and that's when we think about
entertaining our else, isn't it. Yes, Heather Brooker has joined
us to talk about the world of entertainment. Of course,
the big deal this week is going to be this
week and probably for the next several weeks at least
until Superman comes out.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Superman is going to be f.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
One, absolutely So this movie is a lot of fun.
I feel like I learned three things. I realized three
things by myself. One, I do not know a lot
about race car driving, sure, and you don't need to
know a lot about it to enjoy this movie. That
was for sure. I didn't know that two people can
race on a team in the F one. I thought
it was just one one guy. Okay, but there's they're

(08:36):
on the team. They can have friends. Yeah, they have.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Friends on their team.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
And also I learned that I would be very claustrophobic
if I was ever in one of those little teeny
tiny race cars. And also number three, I learned that
Brad Pitt can still get it. This man is very
very fine. He's still got it.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
You concerned that it was going to slip away from
him like he's Have you seen those AI generated pictures
of what he and Jennifer anis they would have looked
like had they not been Hollywood stars but still got married.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
And still they're delightful and they never separated, and yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
They make us feel normal. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
Well, this movie is just above and beyond I think
what most people are going to expect to see from
a typical race car driving movie. I'm not a big
race car fan. This isn't a movie I would typically
go see, but I'm so glad that I did. I
even popped in here with you guys the other day,
and I was like, I cannot wait to talk about
this movie, the technical aspects of it alone, the incredible

(09:33):
things that they did to make it so realistic from
inside the car, you really feel immersed inside the car.
And that's because Apple and Sony and the you know,
directing and producing team really wanted it to feel that way.
They used new technology do cameras, and of course, you know,

(09:54):
I heard you talking the other day about how they
got They've got all the resources of Apple behind them,
you know, and that sort of technology. I will say,
you know, the critics are going to criticize. Some people
are coming out and saying the story isn't that you know,
innovative or fresh or whatever. I think they're wrong. I
think it's a great story. I think they've done some
incredible groundbreaking with the filmmaking you know side of it.

(10:17):
But also Brad Pitt is really believable as this sort
of like you know, underdog. You know, got hurt in
an accident early on in his career and it kind
of took him out of the spotlight for a while.
And he's finding himself. He's finding himself on the track
and also ushering in a new generation of race car drivers.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
And I didn't realize until this week.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
This was also Joseph Kazinsky, the guy that did Top
Gun Mavericks.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
Yeah, and a lot of people are calling it top
Gun on the racecar.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Track, top Gun F one.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Yeah, top Gun F one And because it is so
immersive feels that way. It's really cool too because the
two lead stars, Brad Pitt and Dameson Idris, are both
actually driving F one cars. Are actually that their F two.
They made some you know, F two style cars so
that these two actors could physically be driving in the cars,
you know in Maverick, you know, and Top Gun Tom

(11:10):
Cruise was the only person flying who actually did like
flying scenes. These two guys are actually driving in the
car and a lot of the scenes were shot at
F one races. You'll notice they had to everything looks
so realistic. They about the crowds there, they got other
racers there's it looks like there's actually action happening because
they filmed it during the F one races. The director

(11:32):
said that it was almost like a pit stop. They
would run in shoot their scenes really quick and then
get out of the way because the actual race was happening. Yeah,
so you feel that energy.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
That's good.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
They have to do that. When it comes to certain
sports movies, you have to do that.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
You can't have c g I, the F one crowds
and the and those tracks. People are gonna know right away, Hey,
that's not what the F one track looks like.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
Right.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
Yeah, It's definitely worth your time in the box office.
Were you a fan at all of Days of Thunder? Yeah,
I thought that was an underrated movie. Like I know
people who did not like Days of Thunder with Tom
Cruise Nicole Kidman.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
That is when I first became like a fan of
Nicole Kidman. That was her first big like introduction to
you know, American audiences. I thought that movie was so good,
so thoughtful, and really I thought I thought they were great.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
That was for sure for me one because that was
that I thought was innovative as well. Yeah, at it
in its time, the way that they were showing racing,
very very close close up shots to the cars and
anything was different than anything this one.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
You can almost feel like I saw it in Imax
and it was shot for Imax.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Go off.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
I know, Richie rich I saw it in an Imax
theater because that's how it was shot. So I wanted
to see you know, how it looks. It was really immersive.
You could almost feel, you know, those theaters that like
move and shake and vibrate and stuff. Some people enjoy that.
I don't think I would, But you.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
Take an edible in any any movie theater turns into
that movie theater, it.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
Becomes really immersive.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
But it was definitely fun to see it in the
way it was intended to be seen and shot. So,
h go see it this. I think it's gonna do
really really well and ignore the critics. Like sometimes y'all
just they need to find something to complain about.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Don't forget. You're just there to ignore reality for a
couple hours.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
Just go sit back, enjoy the shirtless scenes with Brad Pitt.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
Okay, not all of that is what is what appeals
to me. But it's not Oppenheimer, Like, it's not not
No Megan two point zero comes out.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
Guess what.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
The doll is still an android demon thing, right, She's still.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
Very murderous, but this time they're kind of framing it
like she might be good.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
Oh you mean she's murdering for good like Terminator too. Right, Okay,
they're a doll.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
They're flipping the script a little bit. Megan is back,
and she it's still android. She's still going to be
uh out protecting Katie. That's her person, you know that
she kind of developed that attachment to I think what's
going to be fun about this one is they are
leaning into the camp of Megan a lot more. They're
making a little more tongue in cheek, a little more

(14:08):
like I don't even want to say comedy.

Speaker 3 (14:11):
Camp is probably the best description of it. But it
runs the risk of technology has changed significantly since they
made it, But it runs, it runs the risk of
becoming Chucky or yes, yes, I mean camp was why
that movie, that series of movies was.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
Well, it definitely does toe that line of what I
know what you mean by Chucky. It definitely does. But
it's still got a little bit darker, heavier, more horror
type moments that I think people will will still want
to relate to in terms of like a horror movie
and that sort of thing. But it's fun, It's okay.
And then though the other one.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
James Bond, the next James Bond will be directed by Keba.
Of course he was responsible for the Dune movies that
came out were wildly yes.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
So this a lot of people are really excited about
this choice of director because he had such a clear
vision for the Dune movies and because those were so
stylized and beautifully done. I think that we're going to
see a slightly different type of Bond movie. It may
lean a little darker, it may be a little more

(15:23):
thematic in a lot of ways instead of just kind
of I think feel like at the end became a
typical like spy thriller.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
Well, they got away from the They got away from
the Ian Fleming version of James Bond, didn't they. I mean,
And I think that's one of the pushes, is that
they want to get back to the actual source material
a little bit better.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
And I think they should.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
They drifted just a little bit too far, and I
think they were kind of starting to lose fans. Like,
do you think there is still a big fan base
for James Bond movies? Are people really excited for another
James Bond movie.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
Well, there's been fifty Star Wars movies, and I mean,
and it's not the exact same genre, obviously, but it
is people like the familiar, and that's there's enough you know,
offshoots to the storyline that there's probably plenty of appetite
for us.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
Who's your bond? Who's your favorite bond?

Speaker 2 (16:14):
Like Daniel Craig.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
I think is just because that's when I was aware
of it and conscious of it.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
I thought Daniel Craig was great, he was great.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
Who would you cast? Because now the big question is
who is going to be the next Bond? And knowing
that this director is involved, all kinds of names, of
course are being thrown out. And I saw one post
that was like, oh Timothy Challame.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
I was like, get out of here, get that name
out of your mouth. Stop it.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
Same bond, Free Zone, shamalamading Bond. Also thirtieth anniversary of
Clueless my gen Xers this weekend. It's going to be
released in AMC.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
No.

Speaker 4 (16:54):
It's a funny movie. I saw it once and I
all right, well maybe I'll go Yeah, take your kid,
that's good. Yeah, that's a good movie to get with
the kids in.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
Thank you as always, You're welcome, have a great week nd.
Thank you too. You're listening to Gary and Shannon on
demand from KFI AM six forty.

Speaker 3 (17:17):
Last headlines of the stuff that's going on today. Divided
Supreme Court ruled that judges do not have authority to
grant nationwide injunctions. This decision, however, still does not clear
up the birthright citizenship issue. This was sort of a
procedural thing. Was a victory for President Trump and for

(17:37):
other presidents who have come up against nationwide injunctions against
their executive orders.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
Lawyers also said that this sorry.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
The Supreme Court also said that Maryland parents and others
now who have religious objections can pull their kids out
of public school lessons that use LGBTQ storybooks. And then, finally,
one that specificly is easier to understand is that the
Supreme Court upholds a Texas law aimed at blocking kids

(18:08):
from viewing pornography online. The Free Speech Coalition said the
Texas law puts an unfair burden on adults by requiring
them to submit personal information to prove that they're eighteen,
and that that submission of that personal information might make
them vulnerable to hacking. Also, we found out that President

(18:28):
Trump is going to be staying in Washington, d C.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
This weekend.

Speaker 3 (18:31):
Senate Republicans do appear to have the bill back on
track after some last minute revisions, but that doesn't mean
it's done. They still have to go back to the House,
and there are some Republicans in the House who are
not happy.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
President still says he wants to.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
Have that one big, beautiful bill on his desk by
July fourth. Well, we've done a lot this week, right,
We've shared a lot, shared a lot of information, shared
a lot of time together. We wanted to ask you
what it is that you learned this week on the
Gary and Shannon Show.

Speaker 5 (19:03):
This week on The Garian Shannon Show, I learned that
when it comes to bomb damage assessments, folks need to
apply the Denise Haskins rule.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
Ooh, house initial reports they're incomplete, speculative, and sometimes unbelievable.
You know what I'm talking about. Gary, I do y'all
have a good weekend. Thank you, Yeah you too, love
your guys' show. Thank you from California.

Speaker 6 (19:27):
And I tell you what the one thing I've learned
for in no way in aale I will live in California.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
Gas price is going to be over ten bucks? What
is wrong with your politicians?

Speaker 3 (19:39):
They're crazy and all of them Newsome.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
What in that hal is that guy?

Speaker 3 (19:45):
Well, part of it is because they use our tax
money to pay for their gas.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
So they don't have to feel the pain in the pump.
Think a lot of us do.

Speaker 3 (19:55):
Hey there, this is dyl and this is what I
learned this week on the Gary and Shannon Show. I
learned that Israel kicked Iran's posterior moody whatever you want
to call it.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
It was just that's a thing of movies. It sounds
so intriguing. I would love to hear more about it.
Thank you, Thank you Dell for listener by Gary the.

Speaker 5 (20:21):
Gary and Shenon Show.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
Here's what I learned this week.

Speaker 5 (20:25):
Once again, the Garyan Shennon Show is refusing to do
a news and bruise up in Ventura.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
Stop it. We have beautiful.

Speaker 5 (20:35):
Breweries up here. You we have a few that have
restaurants attached. Why don't you guys come up here and
do a news and bruise.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
Have a great weekend. Goodbye.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
Anytime they want to contact us, feel free. You can't
just say we're not going. No one has refused to
go anywhere. We just need you to tell them that
we're here, and maybe you help generate that little event.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
That'd be fine.

Speaker 5 (21:02):
This week I learned Gary and Shannon had no idea
that weather modification methods have been around since at least
the fifties.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
Chine. It made it rain to clean up the air
for the Beijing Elans.

Speaker 1 (21:12):
There's even a company called Weather Modification Incorporated.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
Check it out on the Google Google. Thank you very
much for that the Google Google.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
Do I even have that anymore?

Speaker 2 (21:24):
I think I do know somewhere. What else did you
learn this week? What have I learned this week from
the Gary and Shannon Show? Well? I learned that Shannon
was suspended? Is that true? It is that correct? If
you learned it I learned on the Gary and Shannon

(21:44):
Show this week? Is it Shannon Keith?

Speaker 3 (21:47):
It's gonna be the Gary Show now on.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
Good Morning Carrie. Thank you, Jerry or Mark or Gary
whatever people are calling you now.

Speaker 4 (22:00):
This week?

Speaker 2 (22:01):
That chant that doesn't like twerk much. Either that or
she gets suspended.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
A lot no comments and should be grateful that she
hasn't been canned.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
Good weekends. One more, what'd you learn?

Speaker 6 (22:17):
What I learned on the Gary and Shannon Show this
week is that either Shannon is always getting in trouble
and on suspension, or she has a hell lot of
vacation days a lot more than Gary does.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
So yeah, either one. Thanks bye, no, thank you appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (22:33):
Well, that's what you learned this week. You know what
else we like to do. We like to end the
week strong with some nine news nuggets you need to know.
Here's your honorable Mention, Honorable Mention.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
Not supposed to mention, honor serving with you, great and
honorable mostes.

Speaker 5 (22:56):
So today we're holding auditions to become the nearest member
of honorable Mention.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
You may have heard this one in the newscast we
were doing earlier in the week. A man in U
Kaipa arrested on allegations that he and another guy stole
eighty five koifish from a restaurant pond they were outside
the oak House restaurant in U Kaipa. Investigators said they
looked at the security footage from the restaurant. They were

(23:20):
able to identify a vehicle and at least one of
the guys involved, so that led them to forty two
year old David Smith. They searched his house confirmed that
his vehicle was the same one they saw on the
security footage. They said five of the koifish were found five.
They have no idea where the other eighty are. If
you've seen them by the way. They'd love for you
to call them.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
I don't know what you would do with this.

Speaker 3 (23:43):
You can eat KOI I mean they're carp But everything
I looked up online when I saw this this morning
said it's not good like it's not good eating. It's
not a good fish. It's like a dirty catfit.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
Here's number nine at number nine, I did ninth place.
If a CoP's dirty nine times out of tennis partners
dirty two and I speak nine languages yet nine basically
everybody at table nine, I feel ready to go another nine?
And niner? Did I catch a niner in there where
you're calling from Alwakie talking? Well, this is a nice story.

Speaker 3 (24:22):
Japanese airport Yamagata Airport had to shut down this week
because a black bear was roaming across the runway. The
airport declared itself off limits to passengers for the day.
Little bear a little about four feet tall. Well, I
guess we're a bear that's pretty sizable. But spotted near
the runway at about seven in the morning on Thursday,

(24:44):
and that first sighting resulted in a delay of about
an hour of four different flights before the animal came
back at about noon. This time it was actually running
on the runway, So airport staff get into a car
and chase the bear off of the runway. They closed
the runway again. The bear was at large somewhere in

(25:04):
the facility. Hunters were brought in to set up a trap.
Police officers surrounded the airport to prevent the bear from escaping,
and basically they said, we're in a stalemate now. They
eventually did trap the bear and release him into the
Japanese wild, as they I don't know what the word
for wild is in Japan. Here's number eight.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
I tied his bold every eight second.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
Listening to eight different bosses, drawn on about mission statements.

Speaker 2 (25:39):
Here this was a weird story.

Speaker 3 (25:45):
Bizarre crime caught on camera. Viral video showed a man
with a swan in his hands running running along Howard
Beach in Queens. They came up this path here ran
towards the street. A school teacher in Howard Beach lives nearby.
Her daughter recorded the cell video that shows the stolen

(26:05):
swan from the park being stuffed into a car. The
teacher even captured the four guys laughing as they spelled
sped away. The teacher, Santiago said, I yelled at them.
I was at rate, but I told them that they
were gonna see me again. Santiago says she sees the
swan sunbathing in her yard every day. She believed the
swan was the parent to four signets and that they

(26:31):
are protectively protected birds. Federally protected. New York State Department
of Environmental Conservation says the mute swans are protected and
therefore the swans and their eggs cannot be handled or
harmed without authorization from the DEEC. The community felt similarly.
They got one hundred and fifty thousand views on this video.

(26:53):
Investigators three or of the four suspects were apprehended as
the neighbors came together. Investigat went in the vehicle with
their suits on, found all kinds of swan feathers. At
this point, I haven't said. They haven't said what actually
happened to the bird though. So here's number seven.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
The seventh son of the seventh son.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
We're on a seven days would have gone.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
Seven seven years of college. Don't to drain seven days.

Speaker 3 (27:29):
This would be the hardest part about getting a tattoo.
You've seen tattoos that are not cartoon characters or graphic
representations of animals or something like that. But the really
uber realistic tattoos someone's face, grandma, daughters and whatever, that
would be very very hard because I would be afraid
that the artist wasn't good at their craft. And in

(27:51):
this case, the Internet comes to the rescue. A Cairo
based tattoo artist, Thomas Tattoos, proved to be the latest
object of ink based ridicule. He posted a video to
his Instagram account ink by Thomas this Cairo George I

(28:13):
believe and presented this latest piece that he had put together.
It was supposed to be the picture of the person's daughter.
The commenter said it looked a lot more like Gollum,
or a demon or various animals from Ogre. Shrek was

(28:33):
listed as one of the things. One sarcastic user wrote
on Instagram, beautiful tribute, bro, I'm sorry you lost your dog.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
Here's number six. I got six, you got six, she
got six. Number six.

Speaker 3 (28:48):
There's six more weeks of water, a picture of me
or Rabbi and six drunk and longshom.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
Why we just dig you in a nursing home closer
to us.

Speaker 3 (28:54):
I don't have to die, DA drink another It's number
six distracted drivers for number six and number five, but
number six is A distracted driver rear ended a patrol
car at about sixty miles an hour. The deputy inside
had to be put in the hospital, not life threatening injuries,
but still had to be put in the hospital. The
incident happened at about eleven o'clock at night in the

(29:17):
town of Darien in Wisconsin. A deputy on patrol traveling
north at about sixty miles an hour. He noticed a
vehicle rapidly approaching from behind, and despite attempting to accelerate,
his vehicle was struck at a pretty high rate of speed.
The driver of the car that hit him was a
forty one year old woman. Admitted that she was distracted,

(29:40):
not because of a phone, not because she was checking
her pager. I don't know if anybody still does that.
Not because she was using drugs or alcohol. She was
distracted by taco bell. Here's number five hard five.

Speaker 2 (29:57):
I have five rules, be bombing, and five little geese.
This is the year five point five. Five would be
a favorite. Loose five pounds immediately. A guy in Minnesota.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
Was probably under the influence during a crash that seriously
injured a construction worker on Highway sixty one. This, however,
was not It was not taco bell. This one was
actually a controlled substance. They believed that this guy was
high on mushrooms when he An off duty police officer

(30:36):
had been driving right behind this guy and saw the
whole thing, but he was swerving and weaving on the road,
hit several traffic cones under a tunnel and then hit
a scissor lift, then hit the tunnel wall and rolled
multiple times until it stopped. There was a construction worker
on the scissor lift working on the lights. Twenty seven
year old. He had to be taken on the hospital
with life threatening injuries and that's he's still in the hospital,

(30:59):
but he is doing better and is expected to survive. Okay,
so this guy on magic magic mushrooms. Do you know
what his name is? Thirty four year old Patches magic
Beans is the guy's legal given name.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
That's amazing, Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (31:17):
Patches magic Bean. That sounds like something that you would
name your cat when you were four. Patches magic Beans
speaking of here is number four or Manade.

Speaker 5 (31:29):
Is probably on his fourth tranquilizer by now.

Speaker 2 (31:31):
Commandment number four. This isn't the same world as he
left four years ago. If it doesn't come back, is
it a boomerang?

Speaker 3 (31:42):
Archaeologists say that they found a tool in a cave
in Poland many years.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
Ago, a couple decades ago.

Speaker 3 (31:49):
This tool is believed to be about forty thousand years old,
and archaeologist said it was fashioned from a mammoth tusk
with an astonishing level of skill. They worked out from
its shape that it would have flown when you threw it,
but it would not come back to the user like
a boomerang, that it was probably used in hunting, but

(32:12):
it might not have been used in hunting. They said
it could have also had cultural or artistic value, used
in some sort of a ritual of some kind. They
said they used radiocarbon dating of human and animal bones
found at that same site, so they put it somewhere
between thirty nine thousand and forty two thousand years old,
and according to a University of Bologna in Italy, it

(32:34):
is the oldest boomerang in the world and the only
one in the world made of this shape and this
long to be found in Poland. They said it is
an absolute perfect object, with the knowledge that it could
be used to hunt animals. They said it had been
polished and carved, and they know enough about it based
on the way it was made that they believe it

(32:54):
was made by somebody who was right handed. Here's number three.

Speaker 2 (33:00):
He shall be the number count and the number of
the counting shall be three. Fight were dead within three hours.

Speaker 3 (33:06):
Three security clearance level three.

Speaker 2 (33:09):
All three of the three. I got all three of
you guys, for the rest of your naturally born live.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
After that three days, they both start to stink.

Speaker 3 (33:16):
A guy trying to get his dog out of a
bathroom had to be rescued by firefighters. Their police called
to uh Rockwell Park in Bristol, Connecticut for a burglary complaint,
told by parks employees that someone was in the chimney.
Firefighters responded got the guy out after having to remove
parts of the chimney and the building, causing several thousand

(33:38):
dollars worth of damage.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
He wasn't injured.

Speaker 3 (33:40):
He wasn't injured, but he was arrested in charge with burglary, trespassing,
and criminal mischief. He said he got stuck near the
flu of the chimney at Missus Rockwell's Pavilion, which is
a building named after the beneficiary of the park. Locks
on the doors to the bathrooms are on new timers.
They automatically lock at ten o'clock every night. It's not

(34:00):
clear how the dog got stuck in the bathroom or
how long the guy was actually in the chimney trying
to get his dog out. The doors can be opened
from the inside after they're locked for the night, but
the guy could not get in to get his dog,
so he decided the chimney was the better option.

Speaker 2 (34:17):
Here's number two. What's going on you? Twos one?

Speaker 5 (34:20):
Two?

Speaker 3 (34:22):
Two people in.

Speaker 6 (34:23):
There's two sons and no women who ringing dinging.

Speaker 3 (34:29):
Scientists have really got to stop with these tiny drone stories.
There are scientists in Hong Kong and China that have
come up with tiny robots, each no larger than a
speck of dust, that could be deployed to cure stubborn
infected sinuses before you blow out the robots. Robots the

(34:49):
drones into a tissue. Micro robots, they say, are a
fraction of the width of a human hair, have been
inserted successfully into animal sinuses in pre clinical trials and
and simply get sneezed or blown out. This is an
expanding field of micro and nano robots for use in medicine.

Speaker 2 (35:07):
What could go wrong? Here's number one? Weird number one.
You're number one, We're number one. Bens I decided to
look out for number one. Are you the number one? Row?

Speaker 1 (35:18):
Number one?

Speaker 2 (35:19):
Number one, number one.

Speaker 3 (35:21):
There aren't awards given out for marketing and commercials. This
year they gave out the con Lions Award Excellence in
the Creative Industry to an advertising campaign from New Zealand.
It says, to fix our national pride, the solution is
obvious herpees. The New Zealand Herpes Foundation launched a campaign

(35:42):
to make the country quote the best place to have herpes.
A former coach of the national rugby team for New
Zealand said, uh, it's embarrassingly low sheep to human ratio
pies that are pushing seven bucks. We need something new
to be proud of, something to be and brave to
put us on the map. And then he wrote herpes

(36:03):
in all caps on a chalkboard and writes it's time
for New Zealand to become the best place in the
world to have herpes. Miss any part of the show,
