It's planting day at the DMACC Iowa Soybean Camera powered by Champion Seed! We're planting soybeans this year for the first tome at the Adel DMACC Farm after 15 years of continuous corn. DMACC Agribusiness instructor Travis Lautner talks about that decision to break up the pest cycle on that plot and the later planting date due to rain. Champion Seed's Seth Hill and RC Casteel tell us what they're looking at across the state with weather issues and about the seed traits they are planting at the DMACC site. DMACC Agribusiness Student Lorin Mart talks about the work she is doing to maintain the plot over the summer.
