La cura delle parole riguarda non solo il loro uso (qualità) ma anche la loro selezione (quantità). Il proverbio 'una parola è poca e due sono troppe' deriva da qui. Ognuno, come suggerisce uno scrittore, deve trovare le proprie parole, che sono al tempo stesso le più giuste e nella giusta quantità. Eppure nei Salmi è scritto 'Una parola ha detto Dio, due ne ho udite'. Perché?
