Ocean Waves possibly the most popular sound for relaxation. I once heard that the waves cycle at a frequency of 12 waves per minute, which is close to the humane bodies natural rhythm. Don't know if thats true, but works for me.

The combination of sounds of the ocean and imagery of sitting by the sea looking out across the waves helps slow the thoughts of most peoples minds. Also good for aiding sleep.
