Up to two-thirds of consumers are set to cut back on their Christmas spending this year due to the ongoing cost-of-living crisis how do marketers and brands cope with a tought couple of months ahead?

Manni Singh explores new data from from the IPA which show's that while shoppers will be cutting back on their purchases this year, they still want to see brands embracing the festive season with their communications. More than a third are looking for an injection of festivity (37%), while humour (21%), nostalgia (20%) and a focus on value (20%) are all important considerations.
