Prepare yourselves, BTS' "Idol" music video is finally here and it's out of this world.
After dropping their highly-anticipated album, Love Yourself: Answer, on Friday (August 24), the K-pop boy bad released the music video for their latest single "Idol." The video — which has already amassed over 32 million views in the hours since its release on YouTube — is full of nods to traditional Korean culture and it, of course, features V, Suga, J-Hope, Jin, RM, Jimin, and Jeon Jongkook's signature dance moves.
While the colorful and extremely trippy video (you have to see it to really understand just how trippy it really is) features all seven of the Korean heartthrobs, it does not feature Nicki Minaj, who collaborated with BTS for an alternate version of the track that also dropped on Friday.
"Idol" is just one of the 25 tracks on Love Yourself: Answer. The album also features, "FAKE LOVE," "Trivia: Seesaw," "Magic Shop," "I"m Fine," a Steve Aoki remix of "Mic Drop," and that's just naming a few.
Love Yourself: Answer is the final compilation album of BTS’ current Love Yourself album series, which started with Love Yourself: Her last September. The group then released Love Yourself: Tear in May, which became the first album by a Korean act to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Love Yourself: Answer comes just before the start of BTS' world tour, which is set to kick off in Seoul on Saturday (August 25.) The group is then scheduled to head to North America next month, before traveling to Europe and Asia to end the tour.
