Cardi B Hangs Out With Nicki Minaj's Ex Meek Mill Weeks After NYFW Fight

Just a coincidence or the ultimate payback, that is the question!

Cardi B was photographed hanging out with Nicki Minaj's ex-boyfriend Meek Mill on Thursday (September 27).

The "I Like It" rapper, who was dressed in a lime-green fur-lined trench coat, and the "Jefe" rapper, who was in a yellow leather jacket, were photographed together at the Billboard 2018 R&B Hip-Hop Power Players event at Legacy Records In New York City. Making the timing of Cardi and Meek's hang out all the more interesting is the fact that it came nearly three weeks after Cardi was caught on camera throwing a shoe at Nicki while at the Harper's Bazaar ICON's party during New York Fashion Week.

Following the incident, the "I Like It" rapper claimed that the brawl broke out because Nicki badmouthed her parenting skills and her two-month-old daughter, Kulture, amongst other things. "I've let a lot of sh*t slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, f**k up the way I eat," Cardi wrote to Nicki on Instagram. "You've threatened other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you'll stop f**kin with them!! I let you talk big shit about me... But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f**kin off!!"

Nicki then took to her radio show to give her side of the story. “I wanna say that I would never discuss anyone’s child," she said. "I would never talk about anyone’s child or parenting. It’s so crazy to me that people always need to make [me] the bad guy. When you have to say that I said or did something that I never said or did … I am not a clown. That’s clown sh*t.”

The "Chun-Li" rapper also claimed that Cardi has said both racist and sexist comments in the past and slept with DJs to get her music played. “You came into my f**kin culture. I never had to bang a DJ to play my songs. You call black women roaches. Real b*tches never attack a woman. You’re angry and you’re sad," she alleged. "This is not funny. Get this woman some f**in help. This woman’s at the highest point in her career and she’s throwing shoes?”

While Cardi did not directly respond to Nicki's comments, she did take to Instagram a number of times to throw shade by posting about the success of her fairly recently launched music career.
