Jenelle Evans Calls 911 On Mother For Allegedly Endangering Baby Ensley

Jenelle Evans and husband David Eason got the cops involved after the couple feared their daughter, Ensley, was unsafe in her mother Barbara Evans' care.

On Tuesday (July 2), Evans spoke exclusively to Us Weekly pertaining to the 911 call she made to her mother's home, where the Teen Mom 2 star's two remaining children, Jace, 9, and Ensley, 2, remain in light of temporarily losing custody of them after Eason confessed to killing the family dog. As the 27-year-old explained, Evans alerted authorities after Barbara allegedly locked Ensley inside a bedroom in her home.

“David and I were on FaceTime with Jace when we heard my mom say to Ensley, ‘Come here, I have to take a shower.’ Then she took Ensley in the other room, and we immediately heard her screaming and crying,” Evans recalled to the outlet.

“We asked Jace what was going on, and he said my mom locked Ensley in the bedroom so she can take a shower,” she continued. “We told Jace to get the door open, and when he couldn’t get the door open, we called 911 for help because all we could hear was Ensley screaming.”

Per the 911 call, obtained via TMZ, the pair urged a dispatcher to have an officer sent over to Barbara's place after Ensley was heard hollering over the phone "for the past 5 to 10 minutes."

Evans added: “She’s screaming and yelling and carrying on about the kids, saying that my son is hitting my daughter," And now she refuses to answer the phone, so I would just a welfare check done, if that’s possible.”

In addition to losing custody of her children, Evans was also let go from the MTV reality show franchise in May.
