YUNGBLUD has had quite the eventful year so far. He's played the festival circuit, including Warped Tour; he's released singles like "Parents," "Hope For The Underrated Youth," and "I Think I'm Okay" featuring Machine Gun Kelly, as well as writing a track for the 13 Reasons Why soundtrack. But for the English rock star the year is far from being over, and during an interview with Rock Sound backstage at the Leeds Festival over the weekend he casually announced he's planning to drop an EP next month and his sophomore album next year.
The conversation began when asked about Ice Cream Man, a currently unreleased song he's been playing live. “’Ice Cream Man - yeah man, that’s a proper bouncer, we’re just playing it live," he said. "We recorded it - there’s an EP coming in September, it’s not gonna be on the EP, because we’re gonna keep playing it live, and keep teasing it. And it might be on the album that’s coming next year.”
Watch the full interview below and look out for the album mention around the 2:15 mark.
