Twenty One Pilots Literally Pull Plug On Never-Ending Video After 178 Days

All good things must come to an end.

After almost a full six months after its debut, twenty one pilots have finally turned off the never-ending “Level Of Concern” video.

The music video went live around midnight on June 22 and was refreshed every 3 minutes and 40 seconds with new clips uploaded by The Clique and had stayed that way for almost 180 days with over 10 million views… until now.

On Wednesday (December 16), Josh Dun and Tyler Joseph took to the band's social media to share a hilarious video explaining the demise of the fan-made video.

“For the last 178 days fans have been generating a never-ending music video for Level of Concern. well, we thought it was never going to end,” the band wrote in the caption.

In the clip, we see Dun's laptop playing the video while he talked on the phone explaining he still had the server connected to power and the video was playing as normal.

“It's in a secure location, it's been going since the beginning of this thing… it really is good to go forever basically,” he said. “As long as we don't lose power but I don't see that really being a problem.”

The video then cuts to Dun's festive Christmas tree as he puts on the finishing touches before looking for an outlet to plug the lights into. That's when he makes the decision to unplug the server powering the video.

Fans weren't too upset about the end of the video as many think twenty one pilots are hinting at a new era. “New era ?!!!” one commented while another fan wrote, “Maybe they have something for us on the 31! What do you think?”

The band has given fans a few updates about new music so the next era very well could be right around the corner!
