2 Nevada Cities Rank Among America's Best Cities For Driving

Most Americans rely on driving to get around. Some residents have it easier than others, however, based on where they live.

WalletHub ranked the 100 largest US cities based on driver-friendliness. To compile the list, the website compared the 100 largest cities across 30 key indicators.

According to the list, two Nevada cities ranked among the best cities to drive in. Each of the two cities placed in the top 50 on the list.

Las Vegas came in at number 40 on the list, followed closely by Reno at number 46. Las Vegas places third overall for traffic and infrastructure, fewest days with precipitation, and most car washes per capita. Reno tied for second for lowest parking rates.

According to the list, here are the top 10 best cities in America to drive in:

  2. Lincoln, NE
  3. Greensboro, NC
  4. Winston-Salem, NC
  5. Corpus Christi, TX
  6. Boise, ID
  7. Jacksonville, FL
  8. Scottsdale, AZ
  9. Tampa, FL
  10. Austin, TX

According to the list, here are the top 10 worst cities in America to drive in:

  1. Oakland, CA
  2. Detroit, MI
  3. San Francisco, CA
  4. Philadelphia, PA
  5. New York, NY
  6. Chicago, IL
  7. Los Angeles, CA
  8. Baltimore, MC
  9. Washington, D.C.
  10. San Bernardino, CA
