Here's How Much Arizona College Students Should Set Aside For Groceries

Groceries can be a major expense, especially for college students who are less focused on work and more focused on making good grades.

24/7 Wall Street determined how much college students should set aside this year in every state. The website states, "On average, based on My eLearning World’s calculations, college students will spend about $294 per month on groceries this year, or $2,352 for a full school year – about $270 more than they spent last year."

According to the list, college students in Arizona should set aside around $1,873 this year for groceries. Arizona is the 41st-most expensive state for groceries.

The average cost for in-state public college tuition, fees, room, and board in the state average $24,681 for the 2020-2021 school year, which was the 12th highest in the country.

The average cost for private college tuition, fees, room, and board was around $22,862 for the 2020-2021 school year, which was the 4th lowest in the country.
