Rebel Wilson endured a "massive injury" on set of her upcoming film, Bride Hard.
The actress recently sat down with Access Hollywood to detail the gruesome experience, revealing that the last fight sequence of the film ended with her nose being split open.
"I did have a massive injury on this movie. In a fight scene, a gun accidentally got whacked across my face. It was just a freak accident, and my nose got split open, so I left set. It was really my last night of shooting. I was like, 'How unlucky can I be.' The last night of shooting, the last fight sequence, my nose gets busted open, it’s a pool of blood. If anyone has had a facial injury, they know there’s so much blood."
Wilson, who was transported to a nearby hospital via ambulance, explained that she was "freaking out" the entire time and that a plastic surgeon was called in to stitch up her face.
"I was freaking out. They take an ambulance, and they have to call a plastic surgeon because if they didn’t, I would have been permanently disfigured. So we got the plastic surgeon, they did all the stitches, and you can’t tell now — really, you can’t tell."
Bride Hard, starring Wilson and her Pitch Perfect co-star Anna Camp, is slated to hit theaters on June 20!
