Mariah Carey is still "mad" about a wardrobe malfunction she experienced during a recent performance.
During a recent interview on a British radio show, Carey revealed she suffered an onstage mishap with her outfit while headlining Brighton Pride in England last weekend, per People. While a wardrobe malfunction is already an unexpected setback for any performer, the Grammy winner was extra annoyed given how much they practiced the performance.
"It was a lot of rehearsing and then we had a wardrobe malfunction, which was kind of not cool," she said. "It was right in the front area. I saved it, nobody saw it. Otherwise, it would've been talked about."
Though Carey handled it like the professional she is, "[turning] around and [walking] through the dancers," she was still "so mad" about the mishap.
The "Fantasy" singer is the latest in a long line of artists who have experienced an issue with their costuming on stage. Earlier this year, Katy Perry's top came undone as she ran across stage during her concert and Beyoncé lost her chaps while dancing at the Cowboy Carter tour, while Jessica Simpson battled a slipping dress while performing on live TV last month.
Mariah Carey will be taking over the stage at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Festival presented by Capital One on September 19 and 20 in Las Vegas. Fans can tune in to the music mega even all weekend as it will be broadcast live each night via iHeartMedia radio stations throughout the country across more than 150 markets. Hulu will be the Official Streaming Destination of the festival, with performances livestreamed each night exclusively to all Hulu subscribers.
