b. Al Trivette, Rosemonte, California, USA. As well as being the initials of his name, ALT also stands for ‘Another Latin Timebomb'. Having been raised in Rosemonte, four miles east of Los Angeles, he witnessed at first hand the problems that drugs and violence had caused the Latin community. He was quickly picked up by a major label, keen to capitalize on hardcore street rap, but unwilling to allow it free reign.
