Katy Perry Drops Dog-Themed Teaser For 'Small Talk' Video, Out Friday

Katy Perry announced her newest single, "Small Talk" a few weeks ago and then, much to my excitement, didn't wait long to drop the lyric video for it.

Now, the superstar is gearing up to release the official video by teasing fans with some behind-the-scenes looks into the video. While the lyric video featured an off and on again office romance, dogs take center stage in this teaser (aka my two favorite things: Katy Perry and dogs!).

Perry posted her first teaser on Monday (August 26) giving fans insight on the making of the video. The singer is shown in the black and white video talking in a pre-production meeting. "I don't want to go through a casting agent that says, 'Oh and here the dog can sit,'" she explains. "I want the Jennifer Aniston of dogs! I want the Brad Pitt of dogs! I want star dogs!"

The clip then switches to a preview of the video; which looks like the best pageant in the world! Dogs of all different breeds can be shown strutting their stuff and doing some cool tricks like riding a skateboard and walking on two legs. At the end of the clip, the screen flashes with "The Mutt Ball" and "Making Fetch Happen."

The "Never Really Over" singer posted her next clip today (August 27) on YouTube and it's a longer version of the original teaser but, this time, she really dives into the making of the "Small Talk" video. 

Fans get an inside look at how she selected the lucky dogs to star in it and she gives a tiny hint about the scenes. From sharing ice cream with her own pooch to matching pajamas, it seems like this video will have it all — including a love interest! Watch the second teaser below.

The video for "Small Talk" will be out this Friday (August 30)!
